I am really glad that someone is speaking up and making it clear that Vatican II has sold out the faith to the Protestants--the sooner that "Council" is annulled the better for the faith
Careful here! Vatican II has been misinterpreted and misconstrued to be sure. That however does not mean the Council itself was faulty. I took issue with Voris in a prior post on this point. Vatican II was a council of the Church. Its proclamations were not dogma - but neither were they heresy.
My anonymous friend from noon today - while I would like to have a discussion with you, I will not brook your placing the word Council in quotes as though that were not a valid gathering of the Church's bishops. How can you claim to be faithful to Holy Mother Church yet treat her gatherings with disdain? You are skating on thin ice. Satan wants nothing more than for Catholics to leave the Church - and he doesn't care if they exit "stage left" or "stage right".
I suppose I must reiterate this, so here goes.. No post that denigrates any Church Council - Vatican II in this case will be published on this site. On this blog there WILL be respect for all the Councils. A "conservatism" that alleges that any council (again Vatican II in this case) was a "mistake" is a false "conservatism" indeed.
Well then you ought to tell Michael Voris that as he consistently attacks the Second Vatican Council both for what it teaches on Ecumenism and what it teaches about the Sacred Liturgy. I am not speaking of false interpretations--he undermines the official Vatican documents on these issues He is not a reliable source of sound Catholic Doctrine
With the exception of the video from a few days ago, I have not noticed Voris bashing Vatican II per se. Now he has taken on the so-called "spirit of Vatican II", but that is nothing more than a deliberate perversion of the Council by progressives within the Church to disguise their attempts to ruin the Church.
Please be respectful and courteous to others on this blog. We reserve the right to delete comments that violate courtesy and/or those that promote dissent from the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church.
