We read from The Hill's Healthcare Blog that House Republicans today introduced two bills aimed at curbing taxpayer funding of abortion - in other words, to prevent us from being coerced into paying for baby-murder.
We mentioned in earlier posts the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act. It was one of the highlights that was pointed out in Jill Stanek's blog. Its aim is to prohibit permanently any federal subsidies for abortions and for healthcare plans that cover abortions. Its bill number is H.R. 3.
Soon to be filed is the Protect Life Act, which will be a rewrite of the current Hell Care mess to remove taxpayer funding for abortion.
Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, makes a fool of herself by spouting this illogical nonsense: "Republicans took control of Congress on a promise to create jobs, but instead, one of their first acts is to take away health insurance benefits that the majority of women currently have. The true intent ... is to end insurance coverage for virtually all abortions, including private insurance coverage that Americans pay for with their own money, even in cases involving the most severe dangers to a woman's health." Cecile, why are you in such a panic? Dear, sit down and take some deep breaths! The problem is that Planned Parenthood is seeking to use the Obama Hell Bill to charge the Federal government (i.e., the taxpayers) for abortions that they perpetrate. Of course, Cecile, you wouldn't see that as a problem, since it fattens your paycheck. What these bills will do is keep us, the taxpayer, from contributing to the murder of babies and from lining your wallet... Oh! Of course! That's why you're having such a hissy-snit-fit!
