Perhaps you addressed your lecture to the wrong parties. It's these overgrown babies, the union-idolizing barbarians below, who need to be taught the rudiments of civilized behavior.
"Bargaining rights" and "demanding" are not synonyms. The Catholic Church never condones, in a "carte blanche" manner, everything unions do.
