Three bishops, all from Kazakhstan, have publicly denounced Pope Francis' interpretation of Amoralis Lamentia, an interpretation that would open the floodgates to adultery and sacrilegious Holy Communions. They state that such an understanding is "alien" to the Faith. Here is the full text to their statement.
I thank God that these three bishops have the courage to state that what the pope said was not the faith. However, I think we have to be clear. The problem is not so much in the pope's "interpretation of Amoris Laetitia", but in the document itself. We must recall that it was Pope Francis who penned that slop. His "interpretation" is the statement of his purpose behind writing Amoralis Lamentia. The interpretation of the document is not flawed; rather, the document itself, in its entirety, is spiritual poison.
If you read the latest post by Vox Cantoris, there are reports that Bergoglio is already sharpening his claws in retaliation to these courageous Bishops. Not sure if we can believe the reports, but supposedly he has stated: 'They will regret it'......'They will regret it bitterly!' It certainly doesn't seem the reports are far fetched, as we already know how vindictive he is. Pray for these brave men, and the other 2 who have penned their names to the 'Profession'. May God protect them from the ravenous wolves.
ReplyDeleteYes--it is the document itself, representing, as it does, the liberalizing agenda of its author--which is wrong.
