An Open Letter To Archbishop Lori Regarding The Upcoming Satanic Revival In Balitmore

Below is an open letter to Archbishop Lori regarding the subject matter of my previous post.  While indeed laity must take action, the primary responsibility for any action resides with the local prelate - that is, Archbishop Lori.  Therefore, in addition to the actions suggested by the American TTP, I'd suggest pleas for action be placed with Archbishop Lori.   Contact information is here.

Your Excellency, by now you must have heard of the planned "Satanic Revival" that is currently scheduled to take place in the Mobtown Ballroom during the weekend of May 1 - 2.  As you can see, it is an open celebration of satanic worship.  I link now, not only to the site of the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property, but that of the satanic temple itself, so that you can see that what I write is not mere hyperbole.

Your Excellency, you are among the successors to the Apostles, charged primarily with the salvation of souls.  That is to say that you are charged with protecting them from Satan and his wiles, and guiding them to Eternal Salvation through the One True Catholic Church.  What this "revival" entails is not only blasphemy and sacrilege on an unprecedented scale, but the further ensconcing of a satanic foothold in your archdiocese.  Please note that they will admit people into their event only if they surrender their souls to Satan; in other words, attendees must formally consent to be damned.

As Archbishop, you do not have the option to ignore this event, to dismiss it as a mere conglomeration of crackpots and eccentrics.  The spiritual peril is real and horrific. Yet as I peruse the website of the Baltimore Catholic Review, I see not one peep about the spiritual danger about to descend on Baltimore in less than two weeks.

At the very least, there should be calls for Catholics to engage in serious prayer regarding this "revival", prayers both in reparation for this upcoming and previous outrages against Our Lord and His Church, and to pray that this event is canceled before it can begin.  Protest can be lodged with the owners of the Mobtown Ballroom; the American TPF site gives contact information for area Catholics to use in that protest.  I understand that the American TPF site will have a presence outside the Ballroom on May 1; area Catholics could join them in prayer.

As noted above, this letter is open and is published.  Any responses, or lack thereof, will likewise be made public.  Thank you for your attention to this critically important matter.

Your Excellency, silence and passivity in the face of this evil is NOT a moral option for you, simply because this demonic debacle will literally happen just a few miles from the Baltimore chancery.

Archdiocese Of Baltimore - 14 Pages Of Saying Nothing Useful

Cardinal Gregory exposed his willingness to coddle sins of sodomy a few weeks ago, but he wasn't the first.   Archbishop Lori of Baltimore beat him to the punch when released a "pastoral letter" entitled "Like Every Disciple: LGBT Pastoral Accompaniment" this past July.  Concurrently, the Catholic Review published some commentary on it.  It is looooong! A 14-page verbosity extravaganza!  However, because it is chock-full of moral error, we will slog through it.

Let's count how many times certain words and terms occur in this massive missive, shall we?

• Pastoral - 16 times
• Accompaniment - 20 times
• Journey - 20 times
• Relationship
• mortal sin - 0 times!
• Repent - 0 times!
• Confession - 1 time
• Disorder - 0 times!
• Hell - 0 times
• Heaven - 1 time 
• Salvation - 1 time

These word counts are quite revelatory in regards to the priorities of the authors of these things.  The last three word counts betray the utter disregard for the most important aspect of the Church's work - to save souls from hell and to help them attain heaven.  Note also that the word "repent" is not mentioned once, even though, according to Mark's gospel, it is the first word that Jesus uttered in His public ministry.

This thing yammers on and on about "accompaniment" and "journey" and being "pastoral", but what is being completely glossed over is that to engage in sexual perversions is to commit mortal sin.  We know that if a person commits just one mortal sin and then dies without the Sacrament of Confession and/or Perfect Contrition, that he/she will spend eternity in hell.

Therefore, the first - FIRST - priority is for that person to immediately make a good sacramental Confession, confessing the mortal sins committed in number and kind.  Without that, no amount of "accompaniment" will amount to a hill of beans, for no grace can accrue to anyone with mortal sin on their soul, especially if that person is still committing that sin.  That confession must happen immediately, regardless of any "journey".  Time is of the essence.

Let's now go through this mess and look at some of the most egregious nonsense.  In the early part, the question is asked: "What does it mean to follow Christ and to belong to the Church as a person who identifies as LGBT?"  Well, so see how absurd this question is, just substitute another sin, say "drug dealer" or "spouse abuser" in place of "LGBT".  If one identifies themselves by the perversion that they practice, then they are practicing it.  So "what does it mean"?  It means that the person be told, up front and with no kid gloves, that they are endangering their souls and that their destructive behaviors must cease and that good confessions be made.  If there are falls (most likely will happen), then they must get up, go back to confession and resolve to sin no more.

Further down, we read about the "desire to truly welcome and embrace sexual minorities".  No, they are not minorities, as would be the case of racial or ethnic minorities.  A person with an unwanted same-sex attraction is no more a LGBT person than a person afflicted with a violent temper be a murderous person.  We do not identify people by their disordered inclinations, especially if they don't act on those disordered inclinations.

Moving on down, this document quotes Francis during one of his plane-interview bloopers.  This is the one where he asked "if a person is gay and seeks out the Lord and is willing, who am I to judge that person?"   Well, if this conversation occurred in the sacrament of Confession (and that word occurred only once in this 14-page mess), the priest better be evaluating this person's soul, for the latter's salvation.  Again, if a person self-identifies via his/her disordered tendency, it's fairly clear that this person is acting according to those tendencies.   As far as this person being "willing", willing to do what?  If this person is repentant of the evil tendency, then indeed there is much cause for rejoicing.  Otherwise, there is no authentic "seeking out the Lord".

As we get closer to the end of this thing, we read that "often the Church and her teaching are being presented as being against LGBT persons, as if she were the enemy of human flourishing."  Who is doing this "presenting"?  Of course the secular culture is holding out that picture, but where, oh where, do we see God's teachings regarding sexuality being presented in Church venues?  All too often, the Church pulpits are silent on this matter.  When Church officials drag their feet when good people are trying to stop gay-coddling legislation from becoming law, they are showing that they are ashamed or even opposed to Church teaching.  We certainly don't see any unambiguous presentation of Church teaching in this document!  There is not one clear, concise presentation in all these 14 pages.

I'm sure other bishops will follow suit.

Insipid Garblings From MD Bishops Regarding Overturn Of Roe

For a truly Catholic bishop, news of the overturn of Roe v Wade would be a joy for him to announce with clarity and he would jump at the chance to state his gratitude to God and exhort his flock to continued fidelity and prayer and action.  However, truly Catholic bishops seem to be a rare commodity in this nation and they are sorely lacking in the MD/DC area.  Nevertheless, they are astute enough to know that they could not maintain absolute silence in the face of this obviously significant occurrence.

The poor dears!  I'm certain they found themselves between a rock and a hard place, what with trying to put on a Catholic appearance while pleasing their progressive sugar-daddies and all.  No wonder why these statements sound like piles of namby-pamby mush.

Let's examine what came from Archbishop Lori.  He happens to be in Germany at the moment, but released his statement to the Catholic Review.  Every sentence of his starts with "I think" when evaluating what happened today.  He "thinks" it's good news?  Thinks?  It either is or it isn't. Of course it most definitely is good news.  Can you just imagine how Peter's first sermon would have sounded if he used such tepid language?  "I think you should repent and be baptized.."  That really would have converted those 3,000 people - would it not have?  Then he talks about redoubling efforts to reach out to women in troubled pregnancies.  Certainly that is needed, but that's not all that is needed.  Neither he nor any of the other pro-life leaders quoted in that article utter a peep about fighting for legal protection for unborn children.  Frankly, I know why.  If they did that, they would put themselves at odds against their progressive sugar-daddies in the local government who give them all sorts of nice funding dollars (extorted from taxpayers, but that's its own post).

Even more insipid is the pabulum uttered by Cardinal Gregory, as published in the Catholic Standard.  He lauds the ruling as a step in winning legal protections for unborn children, oops!  My bad!  That should read "heal the nation's divisions".  He immediately segues into a litany of seamless garment, social justice mish-mash.  The attempt to distract from the primacy of baby slaughter is so obvious that it's laughable.  Like Lori, he steers thoughts away from seeking legal protections for the unborn children - protections that would undoubtedly irk the Democrat demagogues with oodles of money to divert to church hierarchy coffers.

These statements, coupled with their abysmal refusals to assist our petition drive last month, make plain that we will have to proceed to work independently of our prelates.

Yoo-Hoo! Archbishop Lori!! You're Talking The Talk! Now Walk The Walk!!

From today's Catholic Review, we read that "Archbishop Lori calls for stepped-up support of pro-life efforts."  That's fine and dandy.  He is well-situated to cause that to happen in Maryland's Catholic churches.  Except for the five MD counties that surround Washington DC, he is archbishop of the rest of the state - including the eastern shore, of which he is metropolitan.

That means he can bind those pastors in his jurisdiction to support with all their resources the drive to petition HB937, the so called "Abortion Care Access Act", to referendum on the ballot this November.  There is no excuse for any Catholic church to refuse petition drives from happening in their church lobbies over these next few weeks.

Archbishop Lori, you uttered some fine words.  Will you be backing them up with your support of this petition drive?

Bishops Ordering Vaccines For Catholic School Children Are Imitating The Priests Of Moloch

In light of the call to take a stand against Archbishop Lori's tyranny in forcing Covid vaccinations on Catholic school children, I now publish Cardinal Gregory's push to do the same.  First, let me remind you that all Covid vaccines were made (in differing fashions) utilizing the bodies of babies murdered in abortion.  That is, anyone taking said concoctions is participating in the results of the murders of children.  That is cooperation with sin.  The two Maryland prelates are forcing school children under their care to participate in sin.  The vaccines have been shown to be harmful to recipients, and they do nothing in preventing the recipient from contracting Covid; that is minor when we consider that recipients of the vaccines may will be endangering their souls.

Recently, a friend sent me a page from a letter that Kelly Brennan, Superintendent for ADW Schools, sent to parents of school children.  It is to the right.  Cardinal Gregory is indeed foisting this mess on our children.   Ms. Brennan makes mention of an alleged avenue for parents to opt out of vaccinating their children.  One wonders if she is aware that last summer, Cardinal Gregory forbade his priests from signing letters of exemption.  My blog post at that time contains a link to the letter that Gregory sent to ADW priests.  He's quite clear in stating that he doesn't want to acknowledge that the use of babies' bodies is inherently sinful.  I hope for her sake she isn't aware; else, she is talking out of both sides of her mouth.

Brennan states that adults in the school must be vaccinated, as well as students who wish to participate in sports.  That means if Johnny wants to play on the school football team, he must take an inherently sinful concoction into his body.  Talk about selling one's soul, and for increased risk of dropping dead on the football field.

Instead of acting like the shepherds that they were ordained to be, Lori and Gregory are conducting themselves like pagan priests offering the children in their care to Moloch for consumption and death.  I mean that quite literally.  Those two are not alone.

I reiterate the call to go to Baltimore this Friday if at all possible to let these compromised bishops know that our children will not be sacrificed so that they can please Fauci et al.  At the very least, we ADW Catholics should not drop one penny into the 2022 Archdiocesan Appeal.  An Archdiocese of Washington Catholic points out that donations to that annual shake-down have been dropping, as well they should.  Let's help that downward trend continue as long as they bow to the Moloch-god of the covid vaccine.

MD State Senator Mike Miller Has Died - Pray That He Repented Before His Death - Lori Reacts Disgracefully

Thomas "Mike" Miller, who was a longtime President of the Maryland State Senate, died today.  Regrettably he was just another poster-boy of the pro-abortion katholyc crowd.  In 1991, he helped ram through Senate Bill 162, a bill that codified Roe v Wade in the State of Maryland.  When I say "rammed through", I do mean that he twisted arms to get that to happen.  We pro-life activists managed to get the thing petitioned to the ballot, but in liberal la-la land Maryland, it passed during the 1992 election.  Thanks largely to Mike Miller, Maryland is now an abortion hot-spot, attracting the likes of Leroy Carhart.

And yes, Miller claimed to be a Catholic.

Given Miller's anti-life and anti-God tenure in the State Senate, why, oh why, did Archbishop Lori see fit to pen this slobbering "tribute" to him?  Read it!  What little crumbs did Miller toss towards the church hierarchy to inspire Lori to make a fool of himself?  "Extraordinary legacy of leadership"?  "All he did for the Church"?  "Example of courage"?  Is that what Lori calls Miller's paving the way for largescale slaughter of babies in Maryland?  In all that drivel, I detected not one hint that we should pray for God's mercy on Miller's soul; that is Lori's largest dereliction of duty in penning that slop.

Miller just died today so I'm sure funeral arrangements haven't been formulated.  One positive aspect of the Covid hysteria is that it tends to discourage large public funerals.  We hope that is the case.  Of course prayers and Masses must be offered for his soul.  A private funeral would be most appropriate in this case.

Should Hogan make an exception for Miller (if he does, so much for equal treatment under the law) and should any Catholic clergy participate in some gaudy extravaganza, we may need to be present.  At any rate, let us pray for God's mercy on Miller's soul.

Why Does The Archdiocese Of Baltimore Refuse To Call Out Evils By Name?

The Archdiocese of Baltimore, when dealing with intrinsic evils such as abortion and homosexual perversions, has adopted the practice of not actually naming said evils.  Two days ago, I did a phone interview with Denise Ball, assistant superintendent of schools for the Archdiocese.  The main topic of conversation was that deplorable arm-twisting of teachers of the School of the Incarnation located in Gambrills.  In order to cater to one well-connected but seriously confused little girl, the teachers were ordered, under pain of termination, to use masculine pronouns per the girl's dictates.

That exchange is in the video below.  It appears that her main purpose in the conversation was to read a canned statement that she must be spouting to everyone.  The language she used was very similar to that quoted in the Church Militant article.  I then pressed her on whether or not the archdiocese was at least permitting the teachers to use incorrect pronouns to appease the child.  Notice she did not answer.  She gave the excuse that I was recording the conversation.  However, I believe that had the archdiocese instructed the teachers to remain objectively truthful in their dealings with the girl, she would have trumpeted that to me quite loudly.  The coddling of homosexual perversion and the scandalization of children is allowed to run rampant at that place, and in other locales in the archdiocese, as I cited last week.  Is the archdiocese being cowed into silence, by bribery or blackmail, or (God forbid) all-too-willing cooperation by corrupt clergy?

That last question comes to mind as we contemplate what Church Militant discovered in reading the Archdiocese of Baltimore's sorry excuse for a voters' guide.  Please notice in all that blather about "civility", there is not one mention of moral matters that simply are not subject to negotiation or compromise.  They are:

1. The overarching imperative need to eradicate the baby-slaughter known as abortion.
2. The need to deal with murder at the other end of the life spectrum, also known as euthanasia, or "death with dignity".
3. Abusing tiny children as guinea pigs in what is called "embryonic stem cell research".
4. The attempt to play God by attempting to create human life via cloning
5. The mockery of the sacrament of matrimony by allowing homosexual to pretend that they are married

The CM piece mentions that abortion wasn't once mentioned in that guide.  I did not see any of these five mentioned once in that entire tome.  The archbishop waxes mournful about the "rancor" and "division" present in society.  Dear Archbishop Lori and all the other pantywaists, understand this.  As long as the culture of death is increasing not only in secular society but in the church hierarchy as well, rancor and division are not only inevitable, they are absolutely necessary.

So what is the archdiocese trying to accomplish, by demurring to call out those five evils by name?  Whom are they trying to placate, and why???

Holding The Archdiocese Of Baltimore To Account

 Pursuant to my post regarding the gender-fluid scandal within the schools of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, I made two phone calls.  The first was to the School of the Incarnation and the second was to the school office for the archdiocese.  Naturally no one in authority was available to talk with me, and I've no doubt others were likewise treated.  The reactions of the phone receptionists told me that my calls were not the first such calls they received.

Let's make sure that the calls continue.  Keep the pressure up.  We know from the Father Altman episode that the progressives are most diligent about pursuing their goals through copious phone calls.  Our service to Jesus Christ demands at least that.

I recorded my calls, and I post the videos of them below.  Notice that I advised them that the calls were being recorded; Maryland is a "two-consent" state when it comes to recording phone conversations.   After your own calls, feel free to share your experiences in the comments section.

Archdiocese Of Baltimore Foisting Gender Fluid Madness On Its Pupils

 Let that sentence sink in for a moment.  The Archdiocese isn't merely sitting by while outside forces are impinging upon their schools (as if such cowardice wouldn't be bad enough).  The Archdiocese is actually ordering its schools to use pronouns according to the wishes of mentally ill students.  Church Militant broke the story.

This crime is being perpetrated by two individuals.  The first is Denise Ball, Assistant Superintendent for the Archdiocese's schools.  The second is Benjamin Lorenz, assistant principal of the School of the Incarnation.  A third-grade pupil at that school imagines herself to be a boy.  Ball and Lorenz have been meeting frequently.  Ball has told other teachers at that school that they will be fired if they don't play along with the child's delusions and use masculine pronouns.  The principal, Nancy Baker, seems to be in cahoots and has been trying to convince parents to swallow this bile.

Apparently there are a number of parents outraged over this, but are afraid to come forward out of "fear of retaliation".  Of course this is why the Church suffers, when its adherents refuse to suffer for her.  If their fears center around their own children, may I suggest that the children might be better off if they were removed?  Homeschooling would be the ideal, but if that is impossible, I daresay that in this case, public schools would be superior to this Incarnation school.  At least in public school there would be no indication that the Church is on board with the promotion of perversions and gender confusion.  Let this supposedly Catholic school do without their tuition money and see if they might sing a different tune.

Lori has shown a regrettable tendency to look the other way when it comes to the gay infestation in his diocese.  The CM piece mentioned St Matthew's in Baltimore as being a gay-fomenting parish.  A short time ago, Lori requested that the pastor resign by September - that is, this month.  Has that happened?  What truly fascinates me right now is that I cannot find the parish's website.  What was the parish's site, http://www.stmattrc.org/, takes me to some auto loan site.  Now why is that?  They are listed on the Baltimore Archdiocese site: with Father Joseph Muth still listed as pastor.  Do we think he'll be gone in a week?  Are the archdiocesan personnel having fits that we just blew the cover off yet another capitulation to the gays?

The CM piece did omit mention of St Ignatius, that features a "gay-married" guy as head of its LGBTQ dating service ministry.  Until very recently this guy was parish council chair.  There are other gay-infested churches in Baltimore.

The CM piece notes how Lori bristled when President Trump called Baltimore a "dangerous and filthy place".  Well, maybe there's a reason why Lori was stung by that piece of truth.  Take a look at all those de facto gay dating services in the aforementioned parishes and you can see much of the filth is gurgling from those parishes.  When Catholic churches are putting forth this bile, with what appears to be tacit approval from the bishop, of course the spiritual ramifications will include violence in the streets.

Some action items that I might suggest, in addition to the daily Rosaries that we all need to be praying at this time, include:

• Faithful Catholics local to the area, getting together and organizing so they can protest, form homeschooling coalitions, etc
• Complete cessation of donations to any parish that has an "LGBTQ" cabal.  Let your pastor know that your dollars will not fund any of that pabulum.
• The CM piece mentioned parents who are afraid.  They must stand up to their fears and stand up to the gay-nazi tyrants in their parish.  What kind of message does their timidity send to their children?

Note:  Here are phone numbers.  Call them.  Let them know that what they are doing is inherently immoral and will undermine the faith and morals of the students.  The school will try to pass the buck to the archdiocese (they did when I called them).  Let them know that does not excuse their obedience to an inherently immoral directive.  When you call the archdiocese, Ms. Ball will be unavailable (ahem!).  Leave a message anyway.
