From The Ecumenicide Department - Pope Francis To Celebrate Sinful Rebellion Against Holy Mother Church

On October 31 2016, the Pope will go to Lund Cathedral (Lutheran) in Switzerland and participate in a prayer service to commemorate (not mourn, but commemorate) the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther's rebellion against Holy Mother Church.  Rorate Caeli informs us that this event will kick off an entire year of celebration of heresy - heresy that has led to the damnation of millions of souls.

Even now the pope is off to a roaring start.  At a prayer service yesterday at the Basilica of St Paul in Rome, he stated, "as bishop of Rome and pastor of the Catholic Church, I want to beg for mercy and forgiveness for un-Gospel-like behavior on the part of Catholics against Christians of other churches."  If he was talking about the reluctance of Catholics to proclaim the full truth of the Faith to Protestants and urge their return to Rome (does Tony Palmer come to mind?), that would be wonderful.  But past conduct indicates otherwise.

Then he asked for "forgiveness for the sin of our divisions".  But the division per se is not the problem; the divergence from the One True Church is.  Ladies and gentlemen, we cannot have "unity" without all being under the umbrella of Holy Mother Church, partaking of the Sacrament and adhering to Sacred Tradition.  Those who embrace Protestantism embrace falsehood.  As long as that exists, we need division for we cannot be united in a lie.

Doesn't it sound like the pope is emulating Obama's "apology tours"?  Again I doubt that he's apologizing for Catholics not telling them the truth of their heresy.  I suppose it is rather appropriate that this debacle will happen on Halloween.

The Benefit Of Being Divisive

That's right! When evil is present in the world, there damned well better be division!  Truth and falsehood cannot coexist. We'd better thicken our skins and grow up a bit for sometimes we must take a stand and not "go along to get along. Voris doesn't say this in his clip, but I think this quote is very appropriate: "It's better to be divided for the truth rather than united in a lie."  Click here if you can't see embedded video.

The Necessity Of Tension And Division

Within the past month, a Vatican office hosted a conference for "Catholic bloggers" from all over the world.  A number of American bloggers attended.  When I first heard about this, I was just a bit wary and skeptical of this.  I asked myself, "Why now, after ignoring us for so long?  Are they going to try to rein us in, to stifle us a bit?"  Sounds paranoid?  Well, maybe not.

In today's Vortex, Voris makes mention of some exhortations at that conference to avoid an "us versus them" mentality.  In other words, we bloggers should be "nice and sweet - charitable (buzz word)".  Clearly that's an attempt to get us to stifle ourselves and more to the point, not to make the bureaucrats and "professional catholycs" squirm too much when we call out their malfeasances.

Voris points out that there is nothing inherently wrong with divisions, stating that such is necessary as long as there is evil in the world.  We cannot be afraid of division, for such makes clear that there is distinction between good and evil, between God and Satan. 

I've dealt with this lamentable squeemishness against tension, division and conflict in front of the abortion mills.  Of all places where we might expect to see such division, and indeed hope for that divsion, I am appalled at the timidity that so many display.  I've heard too much talk on trying "too mitigate tension, to have peace on the sidewalk".  Ladies and gentlemen, particularly those on the sidewalk, consider that the tension, etc is merely a symptom of the greater evil of child-murder that is happening a few feet from you.  We should not concern ourselves with the symptom, but rather the cause.  The "division and conflict" will end only when abortion ends, and not one split-second before then!  Got that?

While we don't aim for conflict as a goal, we don't run from it, either.  Watch and see how the presense of conflct might signal health instead of stagnation.  Click here if you cannot see embedded video.
