By now all have learned of the strip-tease vulgarity that was yesterday's Super Bowl half-time performance. I myself didn't subject myself to it, but saw enough pictures to understand the pornographic nature of it. I am not at all surprised that this happened, but am somewhat taken aback by two things.
First, I cannot fathom how some otherwise intelligent Catholics defended the obscene dancing, particularly the pole-dancing, as "art". To whom were they pandering? Or did they simply take leave of their common sense? Those that did seem to be of the "pope Francis cannot do anything wrong because he's the pope" variety. Maybe that had something to do with it. Still, I cannot see how they gave the mockery of Christ's crucifixion a pass.
Second, I didn't realize just how replete with Masonic symbolism the show really was, but it makes total sense. I have below a video to explain some of it. Fair warning - the video does show some clips of the vile performance.

A Superbowl Haiku With Maxine
Here it is, a literary masterpiece if ever there was one! 8-D
Or, from Maxine herself...
Super bowl is here.
It's way too overrated.
I'll do something else.
Or, from Maxine herself...
Seriously, though, in light of the fact that Fox news rejected ads from a pro-life group but is allowing drag queens to broadcast theirs', I'd suggest a boycott of the spectacle.

Vile Orgy! Thy Name Is Superbowl!
I wish that were mere hyperbole, but it isn't. In my post on Jan 30th (last Thursday) I embedded a rather lengthy video. One of the points mentioned (almost in passing) is that many - if not most - Americans (and probably others in the western world) are more in tune with sports and celebrity gossip than they are with current issues dealing with morals and public policy. I've seen it myself in folks with whom I deal. Simply put, this is an abysmal disgrace and is most likely sinful. It certainly is a sin of neglect for those of us living in democracies and republics where we can influence - via our votes - the directions of our respective nations. We will at the end of our lives, have to give a strict account to Our Lord for how we discharged our civic responsibilities. That's correct; voting isn't merely a right but a solemn duty. We must be awake and sober, 24/7/365, no respite. Consider:
- "Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty." Thomas Jefferson
- "From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded.." Luke 12:48
Today, at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey, much of this wisdom will be jettisoned. "But it's only innocent fun", you'll say. Is it? Consider now that tickets are going for thousands of dollars each. Of course for fans coming from out of town, there will be additional travel and lodging expenses. There will be "entertainment" aplenty. I speak not only of the drunken behavior that is so typical, but there will be much sexual immorality. Much of that immorality will be at the expense of young girls (and boys) who have been roped into the sex trade and are quite literally being sold as sex slaves. Yes, the Superbowl makes sex trafficking all the more prosperous for pimps and other unscrupulous vermin. To further fuel the fire, Robin Thicke and Jay-Z will be among the "entertainers". Both have made names for themselves with their songs (?) glorifying rape. During the half-time show, a gay-wedding farce will be thrust in the faces of the game attendees. I'd imagine many of them will be too drunk to recognize what's going on - and the rest simply won't give a rip!
Karl Marx once said that "religion is the opiate of the masses." Well, Marx got that wrong (among many other thngs). In America today, the opiates are sports, celebrity ogling, entertainment, creature comforts. And there will be some overdosing on these opiates not only in New Jersey, but in any home where people are prostrating themselves before those Electronic Deities known as "televisions" and allowing the Superbowl proceeds to spew forth into their sponge-like brains. I link now to an excellent article about the slop that is occurring as I type this.

Blasphemy At The Super Bowl
To all who are all atwitter about the truth of abortion being shown during the Super Bowl by Randall Terry, are you at least equally outraged about the planned "entertainment" during the half-time show? It was announced today that the NFL has retained Madonna for the half-time show. Born a Catholic, she quite often uses her performances to blaspheme the faith of her birth with numbers such as "Like A Virgin" and "Immaculate Collection". I've no doubt that she'll attempt to outdo Janet Jackson's "clothing malfunction" during the latter's Super Bowl debacle.
I suspect many who are whining and snivveling about Terry's ads being "too graphic" are really quite indifferent to the debauchery that regularly oozes from that very troubled woman - that is, if they don't positively welcome it. Yet it's people such as Madonna and the attitudes they espouse towards sexuality that contribute to the culture of death, resulting in the brutal murders of over 3000 babies every day.
Here's another tidbit to consider. Some of the baby-killer ply their evil deeds on Sunday. That means that while some folks are in "veg-out" mode in front of their idiot-boxes, babies are being slaughtered. Will anyone give a damn? Mr Terry will attempt to rouse folks from their stupors - while Madonna and her ilk will only attempt to deaden brains and consciences further.

Blasphemous Pepsi/Doritos Commercial
Apparently Pepsi and Doritos are having an ad contest, with the 10 "winners" to be aired during the Superbowl. The below is one of the "entries". Click here if you cannot see embedded video.
You can go here to sign a petition, or go to Pepsi's website to leave your own comment. Either way, please speak out and don't remain silent. We MUST defend our faith - that is not an option, but a solemn obligation.

Tebow Ad - Silly NOW Reactions
I don't watch TV, so I didn't see the ad until now. Here it is.
We all know the snit-fits that the pro-abortion crowd had regarding the airing of this ad (see the "raging grannies" in an earlier post). It turns out the word "abortion" wasn't even mentioned (to the consternation of some more curmudgeonly pro-lifers). I surmise that Pam's reference to "almost losing him" referred to a partially detached placenta.
As you can see, the ad shows an obviously-faked tackle. Leave it to NOW to try to ascribe nefarious motives to that. Terry O'Neill, NOW president, sniffed that the ad "glorifies violence against women." This is a charge so ridiculous that even O'Neill's fellow pro-abortion advocate, Frances Kissling of (so-called) Catholics for Choice infamy had to contradict her.
Here's a little history lesson, particularly for us Montgomery County types. Before O'Neiil was NOW president, guess who her boss was? Remember? She was an assistant to Duchy Tractenberg, a former NOW official herself. It's amazing, the nonsense that spews forth from Montgomery County.

Interesting Defender of Tim Tebow's Superbowl Ad
Sally Jenkins is a sports columnist at the Washington Post. She penned an article called "Tebow's Super Bowl ad isn't intolerant; its critics are." She makes quite plain that she favors a woman's "right to choose (to kill her child)." However, she also makes quite plain her disdain for the shrieks emanating from NOW and its ilk over a 30-secon ad (so much for free speech, but this is no news for those of us in front of the abortuaries). Ms Jenkins makes a highly accurate observation when she states that NOW "isn't pro-choice as much as they're pro-abortion." She's dead-on correct about that.
She goes on to laud Pam Tebow for her choice and Tim for his responsible life choices. I urge one and all to read it. Also pray for Ms Jenkin's conversion as there are indeed promising signs.
