Today the Senate voted against cloture on the filibuster against Godwin Liu, an Obama-nominated candidate for a federal judical seat. The vote occurred mainly on party lines, with Lisa Murkowski being the lone Republican to vote for cloture.
The Lifenews article details the progressive and pro-abortion proclivities of Liu. Apparently he believes the US Constitution is a "living document" but the unborn child is not a "living person".
I rejoice that the Senate Republicans, led by Mitch McConnell, found their spines and stared down Dingy Harry.
