Faithful Catholics Publicly Pray The Rosary In Front Of Satanic Gathering

This past weekend members of a satanic temple held their first-ever convention at the Marriott Copley Place in Boston Massachusetts.  The organizers claim not to believe in Satan, but still they held satanic rituals.  A bit self-contradictory, wouldn't you say?  At any rate, you may be sure that there were blasphemies and sacrileges galore.  They boasted workshops on how to turn abortions into satanic rituals (that happens more often than we care to admit), "unbaptism ceremonies" and more.

While the Archdiocese of Boston at least acknowledged the problem and suggested Holy Hours and Eucharistic Adorations in its churches, they discouraged physical presence of Catholics - all not to draw attention to the event, you see?  Whom do they think they are kidding?  While they at least did something instead of look the other way and pretend there was no problem, still they displayed lack of spine.

Thankfully the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property, with its TFP Student Action affiliate, were not wont to remain silent and absent in the face of evil.  They were out in force with members from all over the nation.  Over the years, I have had the honor of standing beside them as we protested and prayed against diverse manners of outrages and blasphemies against the Church.  Watch the clip below and understand that everyone must be ready to take a public stand and to not content ourselves with the relatively safe confines of our church halls.

Some Slime In The Archdiocese Of Boston

"The long night of corruption in the Church is nowhere near at an end, folks.  It has become institutionalized and YOU have to get mad about it!"  That is how this Vortex ends - with a clarion call to arms to the Church Militant.  That's us, folks!  We're not the "church mellow", nor the "church mealy-mouth", nor the "church milque-toast", nor the "church mediocre".  Got that?  If we see scenarios like the one we'll see below, what will we DO about it?

Here is more on the situation, from Boston Catholic Insider.

It Isn't Just Boston!

Over the past few days, the Archdiocese of Boston has figured prominently in some Vortex episodes of the past few day - mainly by way of example.  In the one from today, Michael Voris raises the question of why so many bishops (and their chanceries) are so heedless of the voices of faithful Catholics (us) and seem to evince little concern for the scandal caused by the constant boot-licking they do for prominent people who thumb their noses at God and decency.  As you watch the video, you'll note that he refers to a National Catholic Register article about the topic; read that and the comments.

I think Voris may have answered his own question (at least in part) when he posted another Vortex a few days ago.  In that one he expounds on some figures released by the Archdiocese of Boston.  It does seem that some chancery officials there are living high on the hog and being paid quite handsomely by the Archdiocese (which happens to be in debt).  Here's a pay chart and its financial report.  I will say this for the Archdiocese of Boston; they published a real financial report, not a "public relations" nonsense that was published by the Archdiocese of Washington a few weeks ago.

Could it be that the chancery fat-cats aren't rebuking the murderous ways of the powerful and elite because they don't want to upset their apple cart and loose their own perks and pleasures?  Does money talk that loudly?  Those are fair questions that deserve honest answers.

CCHD - A Different Sort Of Prostitute

The CCHD of Boston has sunk to new lows in the foisting of Catholic money upon dissident groups.  According to this Boston Globe article, the Chelsea Collaborative, a community-organizing group that partners with "gay-rights" organizations, has received grants from the local CCHD from the years 2000-2007.  They have always known that their stances put them at odds with official CCHD organizations.

Last March a representative from the CCHD paid them a visit and emphasized the need for them to avoid collaborations with "gay-rights" efforts that are in variance with Church teaching if they wished to receive CCHD funds.  Gladys Vegas, Chelsea's executive director, made the decision to forego CCHD monies in favor of their gay alliances.  Chelsea returned a $40k grant and withdrew their organization for the following year.

One might think it might have been the end of that story.  We actually see an example of a CCHD staff person doing their job in making certain that Catholic monies remain untainted by association with dissident groups.  And to be clear, Ms. Vegas's actions were quite commendable.  Granted she didn't voice agreement with Catholic teaching, but at least she acknowledged it for what it is and respected the prerogatives of the Church regarding usage of Catholic donations.

Not nearly as honorable was the behavior of Randy Keesler, a CCHD "grant specialist".  He sent an email to Vegas to suggest that she should have contacted him first before returning the money.  He states,"“We have relationships and work in partnership with many organizations at the national level which differ from the Catholic church’s teachings."

In response to that most revealing (Freudian slip) statement, some questions need to be asked:
  • In heavens' name, WHY?
  • Surely there are enough organizations that don't oppose Church teaching that would be worthwhile partners.  Why not stick with those?
  • Why on earth should a faithful Catholic want to donate one penny to the CCHD that is pathologically driven to kiss-up to organizations that oppose Church teaching?
As I was reading about this latest CCHD episode of insanity, the following verses from the prophet Ezekiel came to mind (Ezekiel 16:33-34) "Gifts are given to all harlots: but thou hast given hire to all thy lovers, and thou hast given them gifts to come to thee from every side, to commit fornication with thee. And it hath happened in thee contrary to the custom of women in thy fornications, and after thee there shall be no such fornication: for in that thou gavest rewards, and didst not take rewards, the contrary hath been done in thee."

The following verses would make for worthwhile reading, too.

For those of you who might think I'm over the top in comparing the CCHD with prostitutes, please recall this less-than-lovely incident that occurred in Baltimore several years ago.

Vortex On Gay-Pandering In Boston

My friend at Throw The Bums Out (right sidebar) is based in Boston and has been following the "gay mass" scandal as it has been unfolding up there.  I urge you to please read it, and also read the other blogs to which she links.

For an excellent synopsis, watch this Vortex.  Click here if you can't see embedded video.

Archdiocese Of Boston Allows "Gay Pride Celebration" Mass

The buck stops with Cardinal O'Malley in regards to this travesty.  I cannot believe that he did not give permission for this blasphemy to go forward.  If he didn't, he must stand up forcefully and resolutely now and defend his flock from this scandal.  If he doesn't, he will forfeit any and all moral authority as a bishop, perhaps irrevokably.  He will have betrayed his solemn vows as bishop.  He will have in fact opened the sheep gate to the wolves.

St Cecelia has been given permission by the Archdiocese of Washington Boston (thank you anonymous for typo correction) to resume plans for their blasphemous celebration inside a Catholic church.  Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament will be subjected to all manners of abuse.  It will be much like the buffets and spitting that He endured during His Passion and death.  A sin that "cries out to heaven" will be celebrated during the Mass.  So what can be expected at this Mass?  Will there be behavior and scenes such as these inside the Church?

A few good Catholics in Boston have been speaking up.  However, there should be a deafening outcry.  Where is it?

Boston Archdiocese Waffles On Rainbow Gathering

This past Sunday I reported that the rainbow "mass" scheduled to occur in a Boston church was axed by the Archdiocese of Boston chancery.  Many of us were rejoicing that at last Cardinal O'Malley had found his moral compass and his backbone.  Well, such joy is, shall we say, now tempered.

From the blog "Bryan Hehir Exposed" we learn that the pastor of St Cecelia, Fr. John Unni, from the Sunday pulpit, accused faithful Catholics of "hate".  In attendance was the auxiliary bishop, Robert Hennessey.  The bishop, by his silence, both then and afterwards, gave assent to that sorry excuse for a homily.  Read the excerpts on the blog, and pray for God's mercy upon the souls of these two ordained priests.

There is also to be a "prayer service" at the same time during which the original "mass" was scheduled, with the approval of the Boston chancery.  Mind you, these are people who aid and abet those living a gay lifestyle.  Therefore, it's appropriate to question the deity to whom they are ostensibly "praying".  If they were praying to the One, True God, He'd be telling them in no uncertain terms to repent of the lifestyle that could damn them to hell for all eternity.

More Cockroaches Flee The Light!

This past Saturday (yesterday) and Friday I wrote of several scandals that were either corrected or prevented as a result of the Catholic blogosphere alerting other faithful Catholics to raise their voices.  I have learned of yet another triumph.

My friend at Throw The Bums Out notified us Tuesday that a Rainbow Mass was scheduled to occur in her Archdiocese of Boston.  Thanks to her blog, and some other, a deafening hue and cry issued forth, such as could not be ignored by the Boston chancery.  Boston.com carries a brief article on the matter, but not so brief that it could not include the obligatory whining and sniffling from the gay community there.  However, I'll also ask you to check out the first blog's Saturday post for a more in-depth picture of some of the chicanery that may still be occurring in the Boston chancery.

In the meantime, blogs such as ours are here to stay.  Thank you for your support, and thank you for adding your voices to ours.

Cardinal O'Malley Trashes His Diocesan Catholic Schools

He has just announced that they will admit children of gay "parents".  Do you think that the teachers will be free to proclaim the truth of God's provisions for matrimony and family life?  I direct you to the post of my colleague of Throw The Bums Out, who lives there and must deal with the mess that is in front of her face, to the everlasting shame of the feckless Cardinal O'Malley and his minions of his chancery.

Boston Priest - Being Strongarmed For Refusing Sex Ed In His Parish

A fellow blogger, "Throw The Bums Out In 2010" reports that a good pastor in her diocese (the Archdiocese of Boston) may be sacked for refusing to inflict the "Talking About Touching" on his parish.  Please read her report, and follow that blog for updates.  Please pray for all concerned.
