September's Poop Video - A Travesty Against God's Justice
H/T Canon 212
In September's Poop Video, Francis calls upon all Catholics to "pray for abolition of the death penalty". Here it is now. Below that I will explain why I believe this is supremely wrong and spiritually poisonous.
So much error. So little time. But I'll do my level best to unpack this crap.
I've written much about Francis' dalliance with heresy in calling for the abolition of the death penalty. I need not rehash those writings in this post. If the reader would like to dismiss my writings as simply the opinion of some "rigid rad-trad", go right ahead. Will you say the same of previous popes, some of them canonized and beatified? How about two prominent Doctors of the Church: Augustine and Aquinas?
I believe this poop video schlock isn't just about the death penalty, per se. In fact, Francis' animus towards the death penalty is simply a trial balloon, to see how much he can get away with completely twisting Church teaching to be just the opposite of what it's always been. The death penalty is a relatively easy topic for him to use, since many Catholics are ambivalent towards capital punishment. Their own feelings towards the matter obscures their perception of the larger picture of the totality of Church teaching. If Francis can work his wiles with the death penalty, it would be so much easier to attack other areas of Church teaching.
And those attacks are starting. Last month the Pontifical Academy for Life, led by homophile Archbishop Paglia, released a document called "Theological Ethics of Life: Scripture, Tradition, and Practical Challenges". This tome calls into question the Church's teachings on contraception. The question is, what will Francis do with this? It appears that many of the PAL were not aware of this document. So only a few concocted this thing in a rather secretive manner.
So this poop video appears to be an attempt to condition Catholics to passively accept more attacks on Church teaching, but maybe it's worse than that.
Not only is Francis announcing his attempt to mutilate the Teachings of the Church regarding the death penalty, that is, to commit heresy, but he is trying to con Catholics into formal cooperation with his sinful intentions. For many Catholics who are ignorant of the tenets of their Faith, their personal culpability may be mitigated somewhat, but I doubt that it is fully erased for the heresy does exist and they would be giving their assent to it.
We now know there are proceedings underway to change the Church's teachings regarding the sinfulness of contraception. If Francis succeeds into duping Catholics to go along with disregard for Church teaching regarding the death penalty, it's all the more easier to convince these same Catholics that "Church teaching can change" regarding contraception. Of course we know from our 50+ years of history that the status of abortion will soon follow that of contraception. Recall that last week, Francis confirmed and renewed Father James Martin's appointment as advisor for Vatican communications. Recall also that after the Dobbs ruling, Martin released a tweet in which he said, "a one-minute-old zygote is not the same as a nine-month-old baby about to be born". Yes, he did have the nerve to say that. But maybe that's because he knows his higher-ups are of the same mind-set as he.
I certainly cannot join in prayer for that "intention". Truth be told, I stopped praying "for the pope's intentions during my morning offerings. Instead, I pray for his conversion to the One True Faith.

Poop Video For Sept 2021 Urges Servitude To Mother Earth Idol
Below is the Poop Video for September 2021. As he lays aside his propaganda campaign for the ingestion of the sinful corona vaccines, he resumes another topic from what I call the "new world punch list", that is,
- Twisting centuries of Catholic theology in an attempt to quash the death penalty
- Gun control and nuclear disarmament, as if evil people would divest themselves of their weapons
- "Immigration reform", thinly-veiled language for removal of national boundaries
- Environmentalism, climate-change hysteria - whatever they want to call their de facto earth-worship
- Racism, unless it's directed at Caucasians
- Socialism disguised as poverty-elimination
- Right off the bat, he holds young people up to be paragons of virtue. In so doing, he slyly encourages them to look with disdain on their parents and other elders who might protect them from progressive manipulation.
- Notice the words "environmentally sustainable lifestyle". Hmm.. Where, oh where, have we seen that word "sustainable" in the past?
- Then he starts to yammer about us needing to live "simply". Who decides what is "simple"? The One World Government? Notice how the phrase "environmentally sustainable lifestyle" is flashed at the viewer every now and then? Subliminal suggestion much?
- God
- Jesus Christ
- Sin
- Sacraments
- The four last things (death, judgment, heaven, hell)
- Church
So how many times were those words mentioned? That's right! Zero-zip-nada! So of whom is the pope the vicar? Of Mother Earth? Gaia? Pachamama?
Sadly the pope has kindred spirits with many of the bishops. The Archbishop of Dublin issued a "pastoral letter" last week regarding the "climate catastrophe". My! Such a coincidence that this Poop Video and this pastoral letter both came out the same week!
Ireland was once a staunchly Catholic country, but no more. They legalized both baby-slaughter and same-sex marriage while banning attendance at Mass because, well, covid! With so much spiritual havoc being wreaked on that country and on local Catholics, one of their key shepherds issues a 64-page screed on "ecological conversion"?
By the way - 64 pages?? For shame, archbishop! How many poor, defenseless trees had to be chopped down so that paper could be wasted on your envirowhacko blather? The name of that tome is "Cry of the Earth, Cry of the Poor". No, Your Excellency! The earth doesn't cry. Please cease your personification and idolatry of the earth.
For those still inclined to take this new-age idolatry seriously just because its proponents wear miters, it is high time to cease the papalotry and stand for Jesus and His Traditions.

Something's Fishy With This Poop Video
Now the September installment of the "Pope Video" has been released. In it, for what does Pope Francis suggest we pray? Is it for any of the serious problems listed above? Nope!
We are being asked to pray for a bunch of damned fish!
Notice that when the pope says that fish "are threatened for various reasons" we see one of those evil motor boats with propellers churning? That's because big bad mankind is killing all the fishees, see?
So now we're supposed to pray that "politicians, scientists and economists work together to protect the world's seas and oceans". Not babies, not marriage, not persecuted Christians but "seas and oceans"!
It's obvious that this poop video is nothing more than a cheesy attempt to prime us for the Amazon Sin-nod and its gaia-worship, environmentalist screeds. By the way - I still haven't finished my penitential study of that Instrumentum Laboris mess. I hope to do that soon.

Poop Video - Nuanced Nod To Gays?
During his pontificate, we have seen many examples of Francis' flirtations and dalliances with gays - most flagrantly during the Extraordinary Synod on the Family in 2014 when its interim relatio spouted off nonsense about the "special gifts of gays".
I think Louie is correct. Perhaps that is why Lori and so many others are silent about the gay pride parades set to occur. By the way - did they invite Cardinal Dolan to march in the New York one?

Poop Video - Journalism
Along with CNS, I'm sure the pope would like journalists to emulate America and the Not-at-all Catholic Reporter. These days they all wax lyrical about "gods of surprises" and anything-goes "mercy". As the Bear says, some of us don't tow that line; you'll see quite a few of those on my right side bar. In all seriousness, it is we who are trying to cut through the flim-flam to shine the light on cockroaches.
Here is the video. Too bad it isn't lent, for the watching of this might constitute an act of lenten mortification. Again, what is with all those actors just turning around and grinning into the camera? Also notice that there is not one mention of the Church or even Jesus Christ. Is that weird or what???

Poop Video - Explicit Humanism Rife Throughout
By the way - have you ever noticed how the actors in all these things engage in grinning, mugging scenes such as the one starting at the 0:47 mark? But I digress.
At the 1:00 mark we see the main thrust in the words flashing up: "For everyone to contribute to the common good and to build a society that puts the human person at its center." Can the humanism be any more explicit? It is God who should be at the center of society, not man. But in this thing produced by the Vatican, we don't hear the Name of God or Jesus mentioned once. This is the idolatry known as humanism, plain as day for all to see (provided no one is wearing rose-colored glasses).
I will have more to say about humanism in the next post.

Ye Shall Do Sports And Sports Will Set You Free
In this latest "pope video" we hear the pope praying that a "culture of encounter" be built by - sports! Yep! That's the prayer intention. However the words "God" or "Jesus" aren't mentioned once. In Ephesians 2:14, Paul says that "He (Jesus) is our peace, who has made us both one, and has broken down the dividing wall of hostility.." But again that's too.. traditional. Instead, we are treated to the sight of tennis balls smashing through brick walls.
Why cannot the pure truths of Jesus Christ be proclaimed, as they once were? Why do we have to behold our Church prostituting itself before all these cheap gimmicks?
On the plus side, one could easily bookmark the youtube link. Then one can watch it next Lent as a visual mortification.

Some Great Takes On The Third "Pope Video"
At the bottom of this post I'll show the video and below that, akacatholic's version of the same. Corbinian's Bear did articulate some serious flaws with it: flaws that have been all too typical with this pontificate.
- The implication that problems such as spousal abuse can be solved by throwing money at poor people. While that might bring some temporary relief, the root problems remain addressed such as:
- Attacks on the family via contraception, gay perversion of marriage, governments undermining the proper roles of parents, lack of solid instruction in Church teaching (often because clergy are so often ignorant and/or rebellious to the same Church teaching)
- The none-too-subtle implication that the ideal family size is two children, three at maximum. This is shown in the various drawings of families by the children in the video.

Where Is The REAL Care For God's Creation???
Notice that "believers and unbelievers" are told that they "agree that the earth is our common heritage". Then the pope asks, "however, what is happening to the world we live in"? In a word, it's called "sin" and it manifests itself in much more significant ways than in some trash on a beach. Its spiritually deadly effects are manifest in sexual immorality, murders of babies, elderly and other innocents, the persecution of Christians in once-civilized countries. Please note that it is the latter group of sins that can and will damn souls to hell; trash on a beach won't do that.
Let's look at that phrase "earth is our common heritage". No, that's not why God created man. Let's hearken back to the Baltimore Catechism. Why did God make man? God made man to know, love and serve Him in this world and to be happy with Him in the next. God created man to be with Him in heaven, not to be focused on this earth (good as it may be in and of itself). It is the God-given mission of the Church to help souls get to heaven - that's it! Anything else is ancillary and must be explicitly aimed at the ultimate end of eternal salvation. Watch the video carefully. Are the words "heaven", "soul", "repentance", "salvation" mentioned therein at least once?
At the 0:48 mark, the pope states that "we need a change that unites us all". That change is the conversion of every person to the Roman Catholic Church. Unless that happens, any unity will at best be very temporary and at worst, a cheap and dangerous facade of true unity. Read the book of Genesis. It's worth noting that in the very beginning, there was true earthly harmony in creation. It was only after the sin of our first parents that creation fell out of harmony. That harmony won't be restored until there is conversion to the One True Faith and attendant obedience to the Church in matters of faith and morals. At the 0:57 mark, we see the pope hoping that we "be free from the slavery of consumerism". Well, how about "freedom from sin"?
The absence of the call for conversion to Catholism in this video constitutes true indifference to the pinnacle of God's creation, i.e., man for if there is no explicit and overt effort to bring about conversion to the One True Faith, there is no real concern for God's creation.
