Chen Guangcheng: Ongoing Developments

Most people by now have heard of the plight of Chen Guangcheng, the blind Chinese lawyer who was instrumental in blowing the lid off of Communist China's "one-child policy" that is enforced by forced abortions on mother who already have their "one child".  For his efforts in this regard, he has been imprisoned repeatedly.  He and family members have been beaten severely and repeatedly; his health is impaired as a result.

He and his family were under house arrest when he fled to the US embassy under cover of the night.  This has proven to be embarrassing, not only for the Chi-Com thugs, but to the Messiah Most Miserable and Minions Most Mindless.  One of them, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, was on her way to Beijing for a meeting with her counterpart regarding finances.  We owe the Chi-Coms lots and lots of money, you know.

According to Lifesite News and other outlets, US embassy officials goaded Chen into leaving, stating that Chinese officials would beat his wife to death if he didn't.

He has called the embassy to express his request that he and his family be brought to the United States.  His phone calls are going unanswered.

This is a disgraceful chapter in US history - that a human rights activist, who is undergoing severe punishments and deprivations at the hands of barbaric Communists, is being ignored and even betrayed by American officials.  Yes, we do owe these same barbarians much money, but that is no excuse for our officials forgetting that they are Americans.  It lends weight to the notion that perhaps these officials haven't the slightest clue of what being American is all about, as they value money and abortion more highly than life, liberty and decency.

Representative Chris Smith and others are investigating the Obama administration's scandalous handling of this matter.

UPDATE:  I'm writing this over two days and have received word of a deal in the works that would permit Chen to come here and take up a fellowship at an American university.  He would bring his wife and two children (no mention of his mother).  Let us pray that this goes through.  I truly hope that Obama and cartel are acting as true Americans.

  1. You almost quote Governor Romney, who said that it was a "day of shame" for the Obama administration. I'm a little too sleepy to argue, so I'll defer to someone else's analysis of Gov. Romney's response, which I think aptly applies to yours as well.

"...if I were advising Governor Romney, I’d say you don’t need to get in the middle of this story. If this turns out badly, and it would be a terrible thing, it will turn out badly. People will know. … To inject yourself into the middle of this way with a fast moving target I think is foolish...There is no need to butt into a fast moving story when the secretary of state is in Beijing with delicate negotiations and say it’s a day of shame for the Obama administration. Hillary Clinton is waking up right now. Let’s see if she can pull this off in the next 12 hours or so."

Who is this pinko commie leftist radical socialist secret Kenyan Muslim sympathizer telling Romney to cut Obama some slack? Bill Kristol.

    1. For the sake of all, let's hope Hillary Clinton is waking up in more ways than one.
