Dubious Rewards Of Striking Hands With Progressives

These past few days I've been writing about the meeting last week spearheaded by the Pontifical Academy for Sciences; read here and here.  In a nutshell, the Vatican is openly embracing the UN's "Sustainable Development Goals", with all that entails: abortion and contraception.  There are some voices of sanity being raised, namely through internet initiatives by Catholic laypeople to sound the alarm.  The Vatican is embracing progressive, anti-God positions, for which the Holy Father must take ownership and responsiblity.  Indeed, I cannot see how he isn't approving of it, if not outright orchestrating the debacle.

All sorts of leftwing personalities are fawning all over the pope regarding his de facto elevation of climate-change junk science to a level of importance that trumps all recognized dogmas pertaining to faith and morals.  Yesterday he hosted a meeting with the so-called "primate of the church of Sweden", Antje Jackelen - a woman who calls herself "archbishop".  Yes, she's a woman claiming to be clergy, but on the other hand she's with a protestant sect anyway; none of their clergy are ordained.  The Holy Father called her "my sister".  One can only wonder on what basis he calls her that.  To his credit, the Holy Father said, "The issue of the dignity of human life which must be respected always, urgently needs to be addressed, as do issues relating to the family, marriage and sexuality, which cannot be played down or ignored for fear of jeopardising the ecumenical consensus already obtained. It would be a shame for new denominational differences to form around such important questions."  If there are differences, they will only arise if these "denominations" dissent from the Traditions of the Church that are in turn given by Christ Himself; the responsibility for "differences" lies with dissenters and the differences can only be cured by their repentance.  Jackelen, for her part, pointed to two areas of "common concern": 1) refuge problem and 2) (wait for it!  Bet you can't guess!) climate change!  Not the whole-scale slaughter of babies, but climate change!  Why am I not surprised?  But wait!  There's more!

Guess who's thnking of converting to Catholicism based on the pope's swallowing the climate-change Kool-Aid?  Better sit down!  AL GORE!!!  He said so much during remarks made at University of California Berkely last week.  There was probably a good amount of hyperbole in his remarks, but it exemplifies what happens when progressives sense (and with good cause) that Catholics are being swayed by their jargon.  Happily Cardinal Muller reminded one and all that Catholic doctrine will NOT change to suit the preferences of given individuals; indeed it can't for the Teachings of God is immutable as is God Himself.

The Coming Demographic Winter

As most of us endure this frigid weather with chattering teeth, we are treated to yet another whopper by Al Gore.  You see, he's still on a crusade to put forth the hoax forestall the horror of GLOBAL WARMING!!  Personally I think we could use a little of that "global warming" but once again I digress!

Comes now Al Gore's "contribution" in his crusade against this imaginary peril - "FERTILITY MANAGEMENT"!   Why can't they be honest and call it "fertility eradication"??  Whoops!  I forgot!  That would be admitting to an "inconvenient truth".

We have known for some time now that the so-called push to control "global warming" is a thinly-disguised pretext at "population control" or more accurately, population reduction.  Several years ago, Michael Voris did an expose on the "climate change" movement, of which Al Gore is a big cheerleader (and profiteer).  I post the video below; it's a long watch but well worth the investment in time.

Of course two ways to "manage fertility" are contraception and abortion.  Forty years of this have wrecked havoc upon Europe, and the American continents are headed down the same primrose path.  Voris did another program on this an hour ago.  When that video is up I'll post that too.  So not only are we enduring a bit of extreme winter weather, but we will suffer through the even greater danger of a demographic winter.  We must pray and wake up.

Announcing... THE EVENT!!!!! (trumpets and drums, please)

That is what it's called, thanks (?) to the "Climate Reality Project" (using the term "reality" loosely, of course).   The Event is also known as "24 Hours of Reality" - dedicated to broadcasting the propaganda reality of (what else?) climate change!  Apparently Al Gore is going to be presenting a multi-media message to all the world once every hour during this "24 hours".  

"And just how will this fertilizer fertile message spread?", you breathlessly ask.  Ah, that's where you and your naivte are supposed to step up to the plate!  Yes, you are being called upon - particularly if you have Facebook and/or Twitter accounts!  It is your solemn duty, as good little envirowhacko dupes, to donate access to your social network accounts during those 24 hours!   Hurry!  Hurry!  You must save the planet!  Sign up immediately!   Don't worry about access to your accounts afterwards when Mother Gaia Earth depends on you! 

Acts of the Apostacy believes that thousands have already swallowed the "environmentally-friendly" koolaid on this.  If he's right, that means that thousands lack an iota of common sense.  Well, Al Gore, you aren't getting my accounts!  And no, I will NOT buy any "carbon offsets" for my refusal to spread your crap!

Lord Christopher Monckton Debunks Global Warming

Our "global warming event" ended about 4:30pm, with almost 3 feet of "products of global warming" dumped upon us.  I've just started shoveling.

With that in mind, I present below videos of Lord Christopher Monckton, who debunked the global-warming junk science in a meeting in Melbourne on Monday Feb 1.  I remember several years ago that he challenged Al Gore to a debate about the matter.  Oddly enough, the Father of the Internet didn't accept the challenge.  Speaking of "internet", be glad that blogs such as this exist, else you'd never hear of this in the polticially-correct mainstream media.





In the second video, take note of the shenanigans discovered at the Copenhagan meeting: the attempt to further ensconce a world government system.  Notice the part about the democratic process proposed by the Copenhagan treaty - none.  He mentioned that commisars would be appointed, etc.  Does this remind you of all our little czars running around Washington these days?

Will the USCCB and Catholic State Conference trolls who track this and similar blogs please - PLEASE - show this to your bosses?  Perhaps some common sense will sink in and they'll stop proliferating this junk science on Catholic web pages.
