Importance Of Latin Mass And Why Satan's Minions In The Catholic Hierarchy Hate It

Last week, Raymond Arroyo interviewed Cardinal Raymond Burke on the importance of the Traditional Latin Mass and why attempts to suppress it are gravely misguided and most likely engineered by demons themselves.  LifeSiteNews summarized some highlights of that conversation.  The entire exchange can be viewed in the clip below.

He commented, too, on the number of young people who are coming to the Traditional Latin Mass in great numbers.  They are coming because they see the emphasis on Jesus Christ, and Him alone.  They see it in the solemnity and the transcendence embodied in the liturgical form and language used.  By the way, that draws many of us older types, too.

Later on, as you'll read in the article, His Eminence stated that the contact with God in the most sacred liturgy gives us the strength to overcome evil and do good in our lives.  When I read those words, I thought of the Latin maxim "lex orandi, lex credendi, lex vivendi".

Now I will go out on a limb here and state some personal theories.  Despite the best efforts of progressive bishops and even popes who seem hell-bent on deconstructing authentic Catholic faith, the Latin Mass continues to grow and attract Catholics.  Might it be the ever-increasing grace, brought down by authentic worship, that has enabled people, particularly in those areas that have relative freedoms of speech, assembly and worship, to score victories against de facto tyrants in their civil leadership?  Witness the election of Donald Trump in 2024.  Witness those areas of the world that are standing up to the plague of illegal immigrants crashing through their borders.  Was this mass border-crashing, largely by young Muslim men, a planned invasion designed to implement the Cloward-Piven strategy?

Why else would the progressive bishops, in the pockets of their liberal sugar-daddies, be waxing tyranical against the Tradtional Latin Mass?  They understand its spiritual significance.

So if the liberal de facto apostates understand its significance, why do so many otherwise decent Catholics refuse to acknowledge the truth?  I suppose some could be unaware of the Latin Mass, but these days, with information available at a few clicks of a mouse, I find that increasingly difficult to accept.  Perhaps if they do, then they might realize that they can no longer sit on the fence and remain noncommittal about these matters.

I will now link to a piece written a while ago, just when Traditionis Custodes and all its spiritual poison was foisted on the Catholics in the pew.  The author is quite correct when he states that not only are we permitted to resist the attempts to destroy the Mass of the Ages, but we have a solemn duty to do so.  Not being a moral theologian, I cannot say whether or not such duty binds on pain of sin, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised to learn that it does.

Follow also the plight of faithful Catholics in the Diocese of Charlotte.  Not only is the local bishop attacking the Latin Mass like a ravenous wolf, but he is also attacking piety during the Novus Ordo Masses.  Altar rails and kneelers are being removed.  In Catholic high schools, students will be compelled to "share" during Mass.  I sure hope home-schooling increases there.  These bishops hate the faith and any semblance of adherence to it.  Are we awake yet?

More Clarity Regarding The Death Penalty

In regards to my post last week regarding the heretical "papal intentions for the month of September", I post this video for your consideration.  It is occasioned by the recent murder of a woman named Eliza Fletcher as she was jogging.

Again I emphasize that to call the death penalty "morally inadmissible" is to utter an objectively heretical statement as it runs counter to Church teaching.  We can debate its applicability to given situations.  That is something we can never do with abortion, since abortion is always the deliberate taking of innocent human life.

If we waver and state that Church teaching can be reversed with regard to capital punishment, we allow the erroneous notion that the Church's teachings can also be contradicted and mutated in other areas.  We see that Humanae Vitae is already in the Vatican crosshairs.

See the danger?

Who, Like Me, Is A "Deplorable Restorationist"?

The pope seems to think it bad to be a "restorationist" when it comes to the Traditional Mass and fidelity to the teachings on faith and morality that the Church has always promulgated.  While he bandies that term like an insult, I wear it proudly, as do many of my friends.  I also wear with honor the "deplorable" distinction that Hillary Clinton gave to so many good people.  Hence I am a "Deplorable Restorationist"!

Archbishop Vigano apparently is quite comfortable with it, as he details in an interview the masonic underpinnings and machinations behind so much of the chaos - spiritual, political, economical - that the world is experiencing.  It is all quite by design; frankly, I think that is painfully obvious.

I suggest you read through that interview carefully and then listen to this clip from Raymond Arroyo as he interviews Peter Kwasniewski about some of the pope's questionable words and actions, including his slurs against ornate vestments (calling them "grandma's lace").  Notice how well the pope is following the directives of Klaus Schwab, George Soros and other puppet-masters as he works to undermine the Faith that stands almost like a lone bulwark against this new world order.

To truly be a "restorationist" means to be one who works to restore the world to Christ, to restore fidelity to Christ's teachings, to restore the Christian underpinnings that once graced western civilization.  If the pope considers that an insult, that says more about him than us.

Pontifical Academy For Life - In Bed With Big Pharma?

Professor Therese Lysaught, a member of the now-misnamed Pontifical Academy for Life, recently plopped a stinker that echoed the progressive claim that a Catholic in good conscience MUST receive a Covid-cootie-jab.  Her screed was published by the Not-At-All Catholic Reporter.  Dr. Janet Smith, in Crisis magazine, rebutted it.  She later discussed her article with Raymond Arroyo of EWTN.  This link will take you to a video of that interview, as well as links to both articles.  Smith calls Lysaught's mental gymnastics "fake theology" and for good reason.

Sadly but not too surprisingly, many liberal bishops who have lost focus on their mission to get souls into heaven have fallen lock-step behind the cootie-jab craze.  Several months ago, my parish - inside the archdiocese mismanaged by Cardinal Gregory - hosted a jab-session after the last Sunday mass.  The featured witches' brew was the Pfizer slop.

Speaking of Pfizer, James O'Keefe of Project Veritas did an undercover expose of Pfizer.  It seems that a goodly number of their staff take a dim view of the antics of their management.  They are named in this video below.  Given Planned Parenthood's attempt to destroy O'Keefe's expose of their abortuaries and baby-part-selling racket, we can surmise that there will be attempts to discredit this expose, too.  Therefore, I'd suggest that we all download these videos to our own machines, just to keep False-y et al from destroying the evidence and testimonies.

Some Interesting Interviews

A few days ago, Raymond Arroyo interviewed President Trump on the White House porch, touching on a number of topics.  Salient points are discussed.  One objection that I have to his to-date lack of intervention in the rioting and mayhem is that he did say he would invoke the Insurrection Act.  Why has he not done so?  I for one hold bluffing to be unacceptable; one must be true to their word at all costs.

Also interviewed was Patresse Cullers, one of the founders of Black Lives Matter.  The embedded video catches her in clearly stating that she and her comrades are marxist-trained.

So now we have solid basis to hold that the CHAZ-CHOP-whatever takeover of Seattle is a Marxist insurrection, done with the permission, if not cooperation, of the leftwing government of both Seattle and the State of Washington.  There is violence in that compound.  Now that one victim has died because the BLM and Antifa brats wouldn't let ambulances get to him, the mayor is talking of ending their little orgy.  We'll see if she follows through or if she was simply trying to put on a tough face.

Raymond Arroyo On The Amazon Sin-nod And Other Matters

Here is Thursday's episode of The World Over.  Arroyo discusses the upcoming sin-nod with Edward Pentin and Damian Thompson.  Other topics are discussed, such as the UK bishops' silence in the wake of that attempted forced abortion in England.  Mention is made of a website created by the Society for Tradition, Family And Property.  It is called panamazonsynodwatch.com.  It may well be worth a visit from time to time.

The Papal Betrayal Of Faithful Chinese Catholics Continues

A tweet from Raymond Arroyo caught my eye:
Actually, Pope Francis threw two faithful bishops under the bus.  See here and here.  So they were ordered to submit to godless, atheistic dictators for "the general situation of the Chinese Church".  That last part in quotes is cleverly worded, from their disgusting perspective.  Notice the words "general situation" and not "benefit"?  The Chinese Church is not benefiting at all from this farce.  The words of Chen Guangcheng, a Chinese civil rights activist rightly calls the deal a "slap in the face to millions of Catholics and other religious people in China".

I for one do not believe for a second that the pope is simply being naive about the nature of Communists.  He and the Vatican hope to gain something, and that "something" has nothing to do with any real benefit to faithful Catholics in China.

Father Spadaro Points Long Knives At Raymond Arroyo - Call Him Out On It

It was almost exactly three years ago when Father Thomas Rosica, a highly-placed Vatican official, threatened to sue the blogger behind Vox Cantoris (see right side-bar).  The latter had commented on public comments made by Rosica that betrayed Rosica's dissident perspectives on matters of Catholic doctrine.  Other faithful Catholic bloggers shone the light on Rosica's despicable attempts and he was forced to stand down lest he make the Vatican appear to be a bunch of vindictive fools.

Well, maybe it isn't just a matter of appearances at the Vatican and perhaps they failed to learn their lessons.  It appears that Father Antonio Spadaro has drawn his long knives and is pointing them directly at Raymond Arroyo of EWTN.  LifeSiteNews shows where Spadaro retweeted a call for EWTN to be put under interdict if they don't fire Arroyo.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe an interdict can be placed on any group of Catholics because of some willy-nilly whim.  Certain conditions must be present, one of them being the commission of a gravely immoral act.  No one in their right minds can pretend that the discussions in which Arroyo is participating constitute gravely immoral acts.  Perhaps the dissident lay Catholic who originally tweeted that nonsense doesn't know that (and maybe doesn't care), but certainly Spadaro should know better than that.  Like Father Rosica did three years ago, Spadaro is making himself appear to be the vindictive fool, resenting the light that is being shone on his misdeeds - not to mention ignorance of canon law.  But perhaps we're not talking merely of "appearance", but "fact".

As we did for Vox Cantoris three years ago, so again must we do for Raymond Arroyo.

Interview Between Cardinal Mueller And Raymond Arroyo

An interview between Raymond Arroyo and Cardinal Mueller aired on May 25 on the World Over.  My colleague at Tenth Crusade picked up more than I did.  I was quite frankly befuddled by all the verbal tap-dancing and gymnastics that I couldn't follow it.  Arroyo had much more patience than I would have exercised, had I been in his position.

Arroyo, Royal, Murray Discuss The Growing Murkiness Of Amoralis Lamentia

This World Over episode was aired yesterday.  At present, I cannot find the youtube but will substitute it for this facebook feed. (UPDATE - the youtube is below in place of the facebook link)  I have some friends who seem unwilling to shed their rose-colored illusions regarding Pope Francis.  One in particular thought this World Over was horrid.  I for the life of me cannot guess why.  If anyone finds anything truly objectionable, please advise in the comments.  If you do so, please explain your reasons.  Knee-jerk reactions are not helpful.

Papal Posse On The World Over

On January 5, Raymond Arroyo hosted on his EWTN show "The World Over" Father Gerald Murray and Robert Royal.  In his introduction, he dubbed them the "papal posse".  I post it below.  While the gentlemen do speak frankly on the troubling aspects of Amoris Laetitia (or as I've dubbed it, Amoralis Lamentia), their tones are very measured and respectable.  One of my facebook friends took some umbrage with it, stating that "the papal posse needs a formal correction".  Unless she is of the mindset that the pope can never, ever be criticized (not Catholic teaching, by the way), I cannot fathom a reason for her displeasure.  At any rate, please watch this and consider the input of these gentlemen.

Cardinal Burke On EWTN Dec 15

In this interview with Raymond Arroyo that was released yesterday. Cardinal Burke answers his critics and restates the need for the dubia and for fidelity to the timeless teachings of Jesus Christ.

Papal Reactions To The Dubia

Tomorrow there will be a consistory at the Vatican to formally create the new Cardinals.  Traditionally before such gatherings, the pope has held pre-consistory meetings with already existing cardinals before the ceremony.  This time he canceled it.  Understandably a number of eyebrows are raised, particularly because Pope Francis has often lauded "dialogue" and "collegiality".

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to postulate a reason for this cancellation.  That reason is the Dubia written by the four cardinals, requesting formal clarification regarding doctrinally questionable segments of Amoris Laetitia.  A response from the pope has been requested.  Can anyone doubt that it would seem grossly disingenuous of the pope if he didn't at least mention it at any meeting of cardinals.

The Dubia is formatted in such a way that it must be answered with "yes" or "no", with no "in-between" responses feasible.  In an interview, the pope had this to say: "Some, as with certain responses to Amoris Laetitia, persist in seeing only white or black, when rather one ought to discern in the flow of life.."  "Discern in the flow of life"?  What the hell does that mean???  Might it be a clever way of saying "go with the flow"?  If so, what flow?  Who/what determines the flow?  Are we even (in the pope's mind) even allowed to ask that question, because, well - the god of surprises!!!  Faithful Catholics have news for him.  Has he considered that at the end of time there will either be heaven or hell?  Doesn't that truth seem to be rather "black and white"?

Elsewhere in the interview he says critics of Amoralis Lamentia "don't understand" that the Church "exists only as an instrument to communicate to men God's merciful design".  As I learned my Baltimore Catechism, Jesus Christ founded the Church to help us get to heaven.  That is done by administration of the Sacraments, as well as promulgation of Christ's teachings.  His teachings on faith and morals are quite direct, "black and white".  One either obeys or disobeys them.

I will post now a video of yesterday's episode of World Over, where Raymond Arroyo interviews Robert Royal and Edward Pentin.  The whole thing is worth watching, but pay close attention between the 27:10 and 29:09 marks, where Pentin relates what his sources told him, that the dubia has the pope "boiling with rage".  While we'd hope for a calm response to the letter, at least we know that the dubia isn't being ignored - at least privately.

Let us pray that the pope reaffirms the Teachings of Jesus.  Barring that, let us pray that these cardinals stay the course and that others join them.  Vox Cantoris has words about that.  Now the video.

Raymond Arroyo On The Papal Savaging Of Marriage

Valuable insights are offered here, showing just how damaging the pope's remarks about marriage and cohabitation were.

Thoughts On Why Amoris Laetitia Undermines The Faith

Not being one to "reinvent the wheel" I'm going to link to some excellent commentaries on Amoris Laetitia and post an interview conducted by Raymond Arroyo of EWTN.  Here they are.
  • This is an analysis of Chapter 8 found in Catholic World Report by Eduardo Echeverria, comparing it with Veritatis Splendor by Pope Saint John Paul II.
  • Christopher Ferrera wrote "Amoris Laetitia: Anatomy Of A Pontifical Debacle".  It is a thorough analysis of AL.  Because AL is long, this is fairly long too, but well worth the read.
  • LifeSiteNews reports that Pope Francis doesn't remember Footnote 351.  However, his remarks during that plane ride from Greece indicate that he was at least aware of the controversy contained therein.  Does he suffer from "Clinton Amnesia Syndrome"?  At any rate, the buck stops at his desk.  He owns it.  It is his responsibility, not that of some Vatican bureaucrat.
Before I post the Arroyo interview, I'll urge everyone again to read Amoris Laetitia for themselves.  Educate yourselves as to what is proceeding from this pontificate.  If you care about your loved ones and their souls, it is your responsibility to educate yourselves.  I realize the tone of my suggestion may seem rather strong, but I've been reading/hearing too many suggestions that "the ordinary Catholic" need not read AL.  Such suggestions are both irresponsible and condescending and should be utterly rejected outright.

And The Gobblygoop Continues...

Raymond Arroyo interviewed Cardinal Wuerl a few days ago.  Arroyo asked very straight-forward questions but did not receive replies in kind.  He put forth a herculean effort, but to no avail.  In the face of the verbal tap-dance from the Cardinal, Arroyo exercised much patience.  Please watch and you'll understand why the sin-nod will continue to undermine the faith of millions.

Progressive Manipulation At The Sin-Nod And An Update From The Maturation Department

Remember the incident during last October's sin-nod, when Cardinal Pell rebuked sin-nod leaders?  Pounding the table with his hand, he demanded "you must stop manipulating this synod!"  He said this after it was announced that the proceeds from the small group discussions would not be shared with the synod at large.  After Pell and some others called out the skulduggery for what it was, the leaders and "editorial committee" relented and publicized those reports.  In a subsequent interview with LifeSiteNews, Cardinal Pell made mention of a "radical cadre" working for a very progressive outcome to the sin-nod.

It seems that Cardinal Pell's theory regarding the existence of this cabal has very solid basis.  A few months prior to the sin-nod, Cardinal Baldiserri, aka "Book-Thief Baldi", told Father Rosica that the Church needs to "update" and "be incarnate into time".  He also stated that if the sin-nod reiterated the Church's teachings, the sin-nod would be "meaningless".  I've no doubt he was thinking mainly of the Church's teachings on marriage, family, sexuality.  He might as well have thrown into the mix the Church's teachings on the Seventh Commandment.

Edward Pentin is a journalist associated with the National Catholic Register.  He covered the sin-nod and exposed much of the shenanigans there.  He did such a good job that Cardinal Kasper attempted to ruin his career; Kasper wound up with major egg on his face for that.  Two weeks ago he interviewed with Raymond Arroyo of EWTN and publicized his book, "The Rigging Of A Vatican Synod".  In that book he lays out a good deal of evidence that points to manipulation of the last sin-nod and possible attempts to do the same at the one occurring next month.  Now because this book is an e-book, it would seem safe from the clutches of "Book-Thief Baldi" - we hope!

UPDATE - We now provide an update from the Maturation Department.  The German bishops published today an apologia for same-sex #mowwidge.  Here is the news from LifeSiteNews.  With just a few weeks until the next sin-nod, these progressives are putting their "maturation" efforts into overdrive!

Here is the interview.
