Two Acts Of Blasphemy In Baltimore

PROFANITY ALERT

This morning, as I walked into Mass, a note was in the vestibule for general distribution.  It is quite self-explanatory, as you can see.  Father took the necessary remedial steps.  He notified all appropriate authorities and took care, via blessings, to repel any spiritual malevolence that were most likely attached to this act.

As I read the note, I could not help but consider that this vandalism happened immediately after news broke of the FBI and their targeting of Traditional Catholics.  The Fraternity of St Peter offers the Traditional Latin Mass, and the other Sacraments in the Tridentine rite.  I simply am not stupid enough to believe that it's just a coincidence that these two acts of persecution occurred so closely to each other.

I can understand why the good priests would not have wanted to cause scandal to young children by repeating the contents of the graffiti. Moreover, it would have been most unbecoming to utter the profanities before Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.

However, the world at large simply needs to understand the extent of hatred there is for the One True Church.  After Mass, I went around back and captured just what was on the back wall.  I regret the crude profanities, but they are what they are, and we must face it.

Now let me post something that relates to yesterday's post.  It too is blasphemy.

This is workshop number 12 from the Archdiocese of Baltimore gabfest.  Note that there are nine ways in which we can cooperate with the sin of others and thus be culpable of sin ourselves.  In that "workshop" description, we see that attendees will be cajoled into praising and giving consent to sexual perversions.  They will be defending the sin and might even provoke others to the same actions.  In that this is being promoted on an archdiocesan website, ostensibly in the name of the Church and thus God, we have blasphemy.  God can never condone such sin, and these Church representatives blaspheme when they pretend that He will.

I contend that this blasphemy is worse than the graffiti on the wall.  Those who chalked that graffiti did not hold themselves to be Christian.  They seem to be supremely uncatechized and ignorant of the Faith.  Those of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, though, have been (somewhat) taught and possibly ordained.  They must have their feet held to the fire - and we must do it.

Archdiocese Of Baltimore Social Ministry Convocation Needs To Be Picketed

The 44th Annual Social Ministry Convocation, sponsored by the Archdiocese of Baltimore, will happen on February 25 at Mercy High School on Northern Parkway in Baltimore.  You'll notice that the website url shows that it is on the server of the Archdiocese of Baltimore.

Take a look at the workshops.  The very first one is being conducted by members of Pax Christi, a dissident group if ever there was one.  Look who their Board President is - Bishop John Stowe of Lexington Kentucky - yes, him!  He threw the Covingoton Boys under the bus, never apologizing after they were exonerated.  During "pride week" in 2020, he apologized to gays for the Church's teachings on sinful relations.  I don't have time to examine the other board members at the moment.  Upon further examination of the workshop's description, we notice that little part about "cooperation with other like-minded groups"?  Just what groups might that be?  Why, other anti-God and leftist cabals, of course.

Moving further down, we see an even worse workshop entitled "Come And Listen: Transgender Catholic Families And Individuals Share Their Experiences Living In A Catholic Parish".  Were these individuals mistreated?  I would venture to say "yes" IF they were not encouraged and/or admonished to repent of sinful sexual conduct and avail themselves of the Sacrament of Confession.  However, I suspect their definition of mistreatment might be some actual proclamation of truth necessary to their salvation.  In other words, it will be a perversion-coddling sob-story session.

The next one appears to be advising border-crashers how to evade the few immigration-control laws that we have.  The description in its original Spanish is "Lo que necesita saber sobre la ley del Real ID y las implicaciones para la comunidad indocumentada"  Pope that into Google Translate and we have "What you need to know about the Real ID law and its implications for the undocumented community"

"Undocumented community" is just a polite way of calling these people "cabals of border-crashers showing utter disregard for our laws.

To sum up, we see in these workshops such topics as environmentalism, racism, coddling illegal immigrants, and so on.  Now what do we not see?  You guessed it!  Nary a peep is uttered about the baby-slaughter known as abortion.  The fact is that Maryland is now an abortion-mecca, with two late-term butcher shops to our disgrace.  We also see nothing about euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research.  I might point out that the Church, in its insane push for Covid vaccination, actually participated in the sin of embryonic stem cell research, but I digress.

As much as many good people want to eradicate abortion from our cultural landscape, we will not succeed until we purge the advocacy of abortion from our Church hierarchy.  We can make a jab at it on Feb 25.  The gabfest is slated to run between 9am to 3pm.  As we finalize courses of action, we will communicate them to our readers via a future blog post.

Serious Clean-Up Needed At Baltimore's Catholic Review Diocesan Rag

Several years ago I leafletted cars of the attendees at one of these "Social Ministry Convocation" in Baltimore, knowing that they were smooching up to the gay agenda.  Indeed, as I was leafletting, I couldn't help but notice all the sodomy-affirming bumper strips on the cars.

This past March, they did so again.  It's no surprise since the Catholic Campaign for Human Development seems to be spearheading these things.  But please look closely at that link.  Yes, it is the Baltimore Catholic Review to which I'm linking.  This rag is the official newspaper of the Archdiocese of Baltimore.  This is from their March 16th edition, advertising for this gathering that was to occur on March 26.

The schedule says quite blatantly that one of the "workshops" is "Dreaming of a Church That Is Inclusive and Welcoming of LGBTQ+ Catholics".  Because I see no sign of calling to repentance those who are engaging in homosexual acts and/or making a monstrosity out of marriage, I could just as well reword that title to read "Dreaming of a Church That Coddles Sexual Perversion and Ushers LGBTQ+ Catholics Straight to Hell".

I might have expected such an announcement from New Ways Ministry or the Washington Blade, but not from an official publication of a Catholic archdiocese.  Is there any kind of archdiocesan oversight for the Review?  Or are archdiocesan officials complicit in the promotion of sodomy?

By the way - I believe the CCHD collection for Baltimore will be in November.  Here you have yet another reason to utterly boycott that collection.

CCHD = Catholics Colluding with Homosexual Deviants

What else would you call this?  I'm talking about the (drum roll, please!) "41st Annual Social Minstry Convocation".  It will happen Saturday, Feb 29, at Mercy High School in Baltimore MD.

Take a visual stroll through this flyer.  It's chock-full of the usual "social justice" dribble: environmentalism, poverty, immigration, etc, with one striking addition.  Item 9 touts a workshop entitled "Why Our Parishes Need LGTBQ+ Ministries" - for safe places and all that!  You notice there's no talk of assisting these people out of their sinful lifestyles.  Given what we've seen of St. Ignatius and their group, we could safely surmise that these "ministries" aren't much more than dating services for deviants.  In other words, these "ministries" are about the sordid business of cooperating with mortal sin.  Is that what they mean by "social ministry"?

Now go to the very last page, the registration section.  To whom does one make their check to attend this gab-fest?  Why, to CCHD/Archdiocese of Baltimore!  So the Archdiocese of Baltimore is actually putting on this claptrap?  Well, let's look at their own webpage versus the flyer, which was found on St Matthew's site.  Shrewdly they did not post that flyer on their own site, but they do tout this "convocation".   Now look at the subpage for the awards presented.  You see that the same awards mentioned are similar to those in the flyer.  Despite their attempts to be discreet about their pro-gay shilling, Baltimore's CCHD has been caught with its hand in the cookie jar, so to speak.

So can one imagine CCHD facilitating sinful conduct?  Would they do it for any other destructive lifestyle choices, like usage of "recreational" drugs?  Well, yes.  Nationwide, they have given grants to marijuana farms and funded needle-exchange programs

As if we needed it, here is yet another reason to boycott the next CCHD collection.  For Baltimore, that will happen in November.  If you need additional reasons to boycott the collection, I'm sure some will sprout up between now and November.

Baltimore Archdiocese and Its Participation in Climate Change Hysteria

This Saturday, March 6, the Archdiocese of Baltimore's 31st Archdiocesan Annual Social Ministry Convocation will take place (click link for time and venue).   The theme of this session is (drum roll, please!): Peace, Poverty and Mother Earth.  Already we know that it is a groaner.  A glance at the workshops will reveal the typical left-wing climate-change pabulum.  For example:
  • Workshop #2 will teach how to "resist energy exploitation" such as those nasty "nuclear resurgences" and "mountaintop removal".  It will focus on the "role of arts in inspiring the movement".
  • Workshop #3 will teach its attendees how to "live more responsibly on our fragile Earth" (Why, oh why is that E capitalized?)
  • Workshop #5 - "Eat simple!  Live simple!  Save the planet!"  Perhaps they think their use of poor grammar will get their point across more effectively.  However, let's give them a break.  After all, the education system that brainwashed these people into believing the global warming hype is the same system that didn't bother to teach proper language skills.
  • Workshop #6 tells us that "Earth is in the emergency room".  There is a "call for healing", for "earth is now in desperate need of that healing care."
The keynote address will be given by Sister Simone Campbell, SSS, who is the executive director of NETWORK.  Just before the 2008 presidential election, Sister wrote a piece called, "What Does It Mean to Vote for the Common Good?"  We see in this brief excerpt a bunch of convoluted gobblygoop about "balance of power", "the use of fear in our time", ad infinitum ad nauseum.  In reality, it was really quite simple.  The Messiah Most Miserable never had bones admitting his allegiance to his pro-abortion puppet-masters.  Is that what Sister may have been trying to obfuscate?

NETWORK!  Now what is that?  On the front page, we see that they "lobby for economic and social transformation."  Hmmm...sound familiar?  Can we all say "Alinskyite"?  Its "issues" page features "peacemaking" (love those nebulous things!), "comprehensive immigration reform", "healthcare access" (of course!) and "ecological justice".  Now what's missing?  How about "justice for the unborn", "the indispensible role of traditional marriage", "the destructive consequences of contraception"?  I guess there's no room for them on an already-crowded agenda!

To whom do you make payments for this?  "CCHD/Archdiocese of Baltimore"!  I think what we have here is a big community-organizing session going on this Saturday, around the de facto religion called "climate change hysteria".  I'd be willing to bet that while sob stories about "climate change" will abound, there will be heard not one peep about the tragedy in Argentina that is mentioned in the post below this one.

Baltimore faithful Catholics, I urge you to make your protests heard on this matter.
