When Leroy Carhart was butchering moms and babies in Germantown, sending at least eight of them to the hospital via ambulance, killing one of them (Jennifer Morbelli) I quipped that perhaps the condo association should arrange for a private parking space in front of Carhart's location to accomodate the parade of ambulances.
He left Germantown and went into Wildwood Shopping Center in Bethesda. It's a very convenient location for him, very close to the I495 and I270 interchanges. A month after he opened (and his opening was illegal), an ambulance was seen outside of that office building, transporting yet another botched-abortion victim to the hospital.
In that last link, I asked a question about a hypothetical "ambulance 2". It is hypothetical no longer. Operation Rescue learned that in May 2020 (last month), there were two separate incidents where women were taken by ambulance to the hospital. Mind you, these are the only ones of which we know. We aren't there at all times so there might well have been more.
When I said "hospital", I meant Shady Grove in Rockville MD. When he was in Germantown, it made sense for him to send his victims to Shady Grove, for that was the closest hospital for Germantown. However, from the Wildwood area in Bethesda, Suburban Hospital is literally a few miles down the road. Why didn't he send the women there? There's more to that than meets the eye.
I'm also rather alarmed that the frequency of these incidents seems to be resuming old patterns. Why? I'm not even going to ask the question of how the locals can tolerate this literal bloodletting. This is lower Montgomery County, a hotbed of progressivism and hostility to any sense of morality. When we as a society can be so blase in the face of such crimes, I wonder why God hasn't sent plagues upon us more severe than covid and the riots?
In November, the prolonged absence of Leroy Carhart from Germantown caused us to hope that he had quit Germantown (or maybe had been evicted). He and the Germantown Reproductive Health Services are being sued for a botched abortion that left a woman disabled and possibly unable to bear other children. We had hoped that this was the straw that broke the camel's back and sent him packing.
Alas, we were disappointed when he was seen at Germantown this past December. Once again there would be massive amounts of innocent blood shed there. Moreover, with Carhart returned the ambulances. Today happens to be the fourth anniversary of the deaths of both Jennifer and Madison Morbelli. Madison is the baby who was the intended murder victim but her mother died in addition to her, a direct result of Carhart's incompetence and callousness. Today also saw Carhart's 10th Germantown victim being taken away in an ambulance. Of course Carhart is a menace to the unborn children. He is showing himself to be equally dangerous to the mothers. Not only are pro-aborts disdainful of the babies, but of the mothers too - when they can get away with it. Sadly, in Maryland they can. We hope and pray this suit moves forward and that this puts a much-needed crimp into the operations of that hell-hole known as Germantown Reproductive Health Services.
On December 18th, when I reported on Carhart's fifth screw-up, I predicted that it wouldn't be his last. How could I have realized my prediction would come true so soon? He did it yet again on January 19th. Operation Rescue has a report with video.
So that's six - of which we know. As Cheryl Sullenger says, it's not a matter of "if" he'll botch another; it's a question of "when". Moreover, since he's already killed two women, odds are very high that he'll kill another. Of course he's already murdering scores of babies as a matter of routine.
This abortion mill where the murder and mayhem occurs at Germantown Reproductive Health Services is located in Germantown Executive Park Terrace, off Wisteria Drive. If any of my readers do business with any other occupant of this center, ask them what they are doing to drive this hell-hole from their vicinity. They do bear some responsibility for tolerating these crimes in their office complex.
Last November, abortionist Leroy Carhart and team caused another woman to be rushed to the hospital. Operation Rescue filed a "Maryland Public Information Act" request to obtain a copy of the 911 call. Just a few days ago, a heavily redacted version of the recording was received by Operation Rescue.
It is common procedure to redact any information regarding identities of persons involved. However, the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Department redacted much more; this over-zealous editing has the paw prints of the pro-abortion folks in high offices in the Maryland government. Still, as the Operation Rescue article points out, the indications are that the woman taken to hospital in November was suffering from hemorrhaging.
This woman was not the first to suffer a botched abortion at Leroy Carhart's hands; chances are that she won't be the last. To our knowledge she still lives. I pray that she repents and receives God's forgiveness.
The death occurred yesterday, February 7th. The 29-yr-old woman had been sighted going in and out of the abortion mill during the early part of this week as she proceeded to allow her 32-week baby to be murdered. When her family finally took her to a real medical facility, Leroy Carhart was nowhere to be found. Sadly the woman succumbed to her brutally-sustained injuries, hemorrhaging into her own abdominal cavity.
This is not the first maternal death in which Leroy Carhart has been implicated. Operation Rescue has much of Carhart's sordid history on record. Here's a youtube clip of how another Carhart facility conducted a 911 call occasioned by a botched abortion; note how the 911 dispatcher is almost pulling teeth trying to get the details needed to properly instruct the rescue team. The same Operation Rescue tried to alert the Maryland Board of Physicians of the frauds and inaccuracies that peppered Carhart's application for a Maryland medical license. I understand that the Board placed a reprimand in Carhart's file - as they awarded to him his license to kill. A reprimand - nothing more than a token "rap on the knuckles"! This death is now on their desks and I truly hope that they'll now take much more seriously their responsibilities to the public. For their past lackadaisical attitude towards the threat that Carhart obviously posed to women, the Maryland Physician's Board has moral culpability in this woman's death - not to mention the thousands of babies that Carhart murdered at the Germantown Reproductive Health Services.
The video below is of the press conference that took place today near the Germantown abortion mill. On Monday, there will be a memorial service along with another press conference to announce further details regarding this case. With the prayers, I hope that there is prayer for the repentance of the woman's family. I was baffled not to hear such prayers in the video as there were prayers for their solace. There can be no solace without repentance for their part in the deaths of both the baby and his/her mother.
On Friday July 20, at a Planned Parenthood facility in Chicago, Tonya Reaves (aged 24) had an abortion. She was fatally injured during the procedure, passing away at Northwestern Memorial Hospital that evening. According to a press release issued by Planned Parenthood of Illinois, an autopsy ruled her death to be an accident!
Okie-dokie! Alrighty then! That clears that right up now, doesn't it? I guess we can all just forget about it, go about our little routines and leave poor little Planned Parenthood to its murderous business! Nothing to see here, folks - just keep moving!
Not buying that, eh? Well, neither is her family. This CBS report goes into some more detail about the autopsy than did the Planned Parenthood damage-control piece. Probably they'd like to know just how this "accident" occurred. Usually when one thinks of the word "accident", one can conclude that there was a mishap that arose out of carelessness. Let's be honest; if there were some unknown medical condition of Ms Reaves of which Planned Parenthood could not have been aware, they would have been up front and out loud about it, HIPPA laws notwithstanding.
Accident! What a lame cop-out! What else would it be - murder? Well there is the baby who was murdered, but that is its own tragedy. I offer prayers for the Reaves family during their tragedy and pray also that they persevere until they get some real answers - and justice - for Tonya's (and baby's) death.
On March 3rd, at NOVA Women's Health Care in Fairfax VA, a woman wound up bleeding profusely after her abortion. This woman is one of many victims at this particular death camp. Its owner, Mi Yong Kim, continues to operate the place after she surrendered her own medical license in 2007. Her death mill had a history of standard-of-care violations. This is a new low in callousness and coarseness. Abortionist James Pendergraft of Florida is apparently trying to lure women into his Orlando center. Presumably they aren't meeting their murder quota. At any rate, here is the text of the "coupon" from their website.

In a way, I can understand Pendergraft's need to raise some quick cash. He has to pay $36 million in damages after a botched abortion. However, given the botched abortion and the fact that his license was suspended four times earlier, I cannot imagine why he's allowed to practice medicine at all.
Pendergraft does late-term abortions, as does Leroy Carhart in Gernamtown. Carhart does some of his bloody business on Sundays, too. I wonder if Carhart will start having "specials".

Lifenews tells us that over this weekend, a victim of a botched abortion at a Planned Parenthood in St Louis, MO was rushed to a nearby hospital. The sheet was over her head, causing nearby pro-life activists to believe that she was dead. One of the pro-lifers left a note on the husband's car, offering help. He did reply, mentioning that his wife was in stable condition. She is lucky to be alive, although now she'll have to deal with the post-abortive ramifications. Pray that there be repentance and healing.

Three posts down (posted two days ago), we watched the testimony of Elisabeth Sowecke of the Potomac Family Planning Center. Perhaps you'll recall how we chuckled when she cited the National Abortion Federation as an authority to debunk the harm done to women by abortion. You may also recall from other news sources that an abortion mill in Englewood New Jersey, Metropolitan Medical Associates settled a lawsuit brought against them for a botched abortion. The settlement amount was $1.9 million; the woman had suffered massive hemorrhaging, stroke, coma and hysterectomy. She nearly died. State inspectors, after the incident, found dirty forceps, rusty crochet hooks and red "dirt" under an examination table. Lovely! Oh, by the way - this abortuary is affiliate with - you guessed it! - the National Abortion Federation.
You saw below the malfeasance of two abortuaries: one in Wisconsin and the other in North Carolina. On December 1st, we heard testimony from representatives of two local clinics that they are pure as the driven snow. Public record does NOT corroborate such claims.
Laura Meyers is director of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington DC. She may not have been director when the September 2006 botched abortion happened, but surely she was aware of it when she testified. On September 7, 2006, a 13-year old girl who was raped was brought to the PP on 16th Street by her mother. In this "safe and legal procedure", the girl's vagina, uterus and small bowel were slashed. Moreover, much of the dead baby was left inside her uterus. She became severely ill, suffering from peritonitis and profuse bleeding. She was treated the next day at a real medical facility, but she's now permanently infertile. In February 2008, a lawsuit for $50 million was filed. It is interesting to note that the lead attorney for the plaintiff is none other than Thomas V "Mike" Miller. Maryland residents will recognize him as the Maryland Senate Majority Leader. Miller himself is rabidly pro-abortion. However, he must smell enough potential for money that he would disregard any prior relationship with an abortionist outfit.
Not to be outdone is Potomac Family Planning Center in Rockville, MD. Its owner and one of the abortionists is Earl McLeod. On December 20, 1997, Jennifer Hallner came for an abortion. She underwent general anesthesia - from which she never awoke. His anestheseologist (who flunked the anestheseologist exam at least 4 times) administered the drugs and McLeod did the baby-murder. They called Rockville Volunteer Fire and Rescue paramedics. These paramedics reported shock at the substandard emergency preparation on premise. To make a long story short, on November 17, 1999, his license was suspended for 3 months (is that all??). The case is now off the website, but that case number is 98-0472 for anyone who would care to do further research.
With that, I present to you now the testimony of Elisabeth Sowecke, who works at Potomac Family Planning Center. (Click here if you can't see embedded videos)
In the beginning, she states that "we have provided compassonate care safely and confidentially to generations of women.." Can it be that she is simply unaware of her employer's chequered past with Mrs. Hallner? She gripes about "undue stress" from crisis pregnancy centers; what of the undue stress suffered by the Hallner family? I cannot help but notice how the eye contact between her and the council members during the bulk of her testimony is non-existent. Only towards the end does she look up when she states that she welcomes question - but the tone of her voice at that point exudes all the charm of a barracuda. Now why was that?
She makes the point that "the yellow pages have classified non-medical pregnancy centers as abortion alternatives, since the early 1990s, specifying they do not provide abortion services or abortion referrals. Medical family planning clinics are classified as abortion providers who perform abortion services or refer clients to businesses that do." For heaven's sake! She's corroborating the testimonies of the directors of the pro-life centers, who have all stated that they do make clear their stances on abortion! So why is the Council trying to cram this sham of punitive legislation down our throats? Why this de facto kangaroo court?
The chuckle from us that you hear shortly after that is because of her quote from the National Abortion Federation stating that the well-proven harms to women occasioned by abortion are myths. That's like taking the word from the "Fox's Labor Guild" that fox attacks in the hen house cause no harm to the hens being devoured by the foxes!
She does state later on that she has witnessed "safe abortions procedures for over 4 years", so the Hallner disaster may well have predated her tenure at this death mill. Elisabeth, if you're reading this, I'd strongly advise you to do some research independently on your employer; the case number is cited above. Please do so before you claim that Potomac Family Planning Center is "a medical facility providing dignified care". Whatever else "dignified care" means, it does not mean having a non-certified anestheseologist putting a patient into a sleep from which she'll never awake and then not having the proper equipment on hand to revive her. For Ms. Myers: "dignified care" does not mean slashing the guts of a teenager so that she'll never be a mother in the future.
She states that "there is a need to clearly specify the differences between services offered by non-medical cpcs and procedures provided by medical family planning clinics." Well, here's one crucial difference never touched upon by the so-called pro-choicers - including those on the Mongomery County Council. When a woman walks into a cpc, she walks out under her own power. She never has to run the risk of being taken away in an ambulance, perhaps with a sheet over her head. Such are the "full services" that cpcs don't provide!
Let's take another look at the NARAL fundraiser program. Notice that Allie Harper of the Potomac facility is listed there. Notice that her donation level appears to be higher than the bulk of them. Now there is reason to believe (as Gail Tierney noted) that this legislative attempt is being inspired in part by NARAL. I'll have more on that within the next day or so.

Since the Montgomery County Council won't dream of dictating that abortuaries tell the whole truth about their offerings, we display it now for all to see.
As you'll note in the video, there is ample reason to believe that this woman was dead as she was carried to the ambulance. May God have mercy on her soul, and those who influenced her decision to abort her baby - and herself in the process. May God have mercy on those who would cavalierly dissuade a woman from seeking real help and who would put her in real harm's way.
