It's Official: Germantown Abortuary Closed AND Carhart Sues His Former Hosts

From the site prayforgermantown.com we have the official press release announcing the official closure as of Wednesday.  We also have another piece of news.  Apparently there is acrimony between Carhart and the two former owners of the Germantown mill, Todd Stave and his sister Nancy Samuels.  Carhart is suing the two siblings for custody of medical records pertaining to the women whose children were murdered at GRHS.

We believe that Carhart isn't giving up a lucrative baby-slaughter business so easily.  He probably intends to set up shop in another Maryland location, most likely Montgomery County.  Given his abysmal record at Germantown (10 ambulances, 1 maternal death) a reasonable person can surmise that those records might contain information that could be prejudicial to any attempts to get licenses and permits for a new practice.  If you read the "defendants' answer" on the OR page, the siblings seem willing to release the records, provided that they are held harmless from any liability that might otherwise result from them.

We'll have to see how that suit pans out.  Of course if Carhart resumes baby-slaughter in Maryland, we will be there as well.

Prayer Of Thanksgiving For The Closing Of Germantown Abortuary

As mentioned last week, the Germantown Reproductive Health Services and its sister abortuary, Prince Georges Reproductive Health Services, have been sold.  Both mills committed baby-slaughter for the last time last week.  On Monday, September 4 (Labor Day) at 9:30 am, a group of us gathered for thanksgiving prayer outside the office park where GRHS was formerly located.

Because Maryland is still an abortionist's dream location, owing to the horrid political climate, we've no doubt that Carhart and/or Charlie Browne will try to set up shop elsewhere in Maryland.  For updates, please check www.prayforgermantown.com.  The clip of our prayer time is below.

The Air Is Fresher In Germantown Now

..And in Hyattsville too, for that matter.  This week the Germantown Reproductive Health Services, along with its sister abortuary, Prince Georges Reproductive Health Services, ceased slaughtering babies as they have been bought and closed by the Maryland Coalition for Life.  Operation Rescue published a picture of a junk truck outside the Germantown mill.  I agree that it seems rather fitting.

For now, Leroy Carhart is not committing abortions, and the late-term ones are not happening in Maryland.  He and his fellow abortion ghouls are making noises about procuring another Maryland location.  Sadly we can understand why Maryland is a prime location, given the abortion-enabling politicians who slither through the halls of local governments here; Montgomery County is among the worst for that.

I salute my fellow activists who prayed, counseled and witnessed at that hell hole for many years.  Most of all we thank God for hearing our prayers. May God have mercy on us all and bring this nation to repentance for all the innocent blood it continues to wantonly shed.

The Butchery Continues In Germantown

In November, the prolonged absence of Leroy Carhart from Germantown caused us to hope that he had quit Germantown (or maybe had been evicted).  He and the Germantown Reproductive Health Services are being sued for a botched abortion that left a woman disabled and possibly unable to bear other children.  We had hoped that this was the straw that broke the camel's back and sent him packing.

Alas, we were disappointed when he was seen at Germantown this past December.  Once again there would be massive amounts of innocent blood shed there.  Moreover, with Carhart returned the ambulances.  Today happens to be the fourth anniversary of the deaths of both Jennifer and Madison Morbelli.  Madison is the baby who was the intended murder victim but her mother died in addition to her, a direct result of Carhart's incompetence and callousness.  Today also saw Carhart's 10th Germantown victim being taken away in an ambulance.  The site prayforgermantown.com has more details of that, as well as some other suspected botched abortions that happened this past December.

Of course Carhart is a menace to the unborn children.  He is showing himself to be equally dangerous to the mothers.  Not only are pro-aborts disdainful of the babies, but of the mothers too - when they can get away with it.  Sadly, in Maryland they can.  We hope and pray this suit moves forward and that this puts a much-needed crimp into the operations of that hell-hole known as Germantown Reproductive Health Services.

Carhart Quits Maryland!

Another reason to be thankful on this Thanksgiving Day.  Who knows why he's leaving Maryland?  Maybe it's the suit about which I wrote yesterday; maybe it's just the straw that broke the camel's back.  Let's pray that he repents before he has to stand before God's judgment throne.

Abortions will still continue up to 19 weeks at Germantown Reproductive Heath Services, and they will continue throughout the state.  Let us continue to pray that all abortions cease.

Carhart And Germantown Reproductive Health Services Sued For Botched Abortion

On January 19 I reported on yet another botched abortion that necessitated a woman being taken by ambulance to the hospital.  Operation Rescue reports that the woman has filed suit against both Carhart and Germantown Reproductive Health Services for the malpractice that left her disabled and probably unable to bear another child.  The OR report links to the court documents that list both Carhart and the abortuary as co-defendants.

Since Ms. Devine was injured at Carhart's hands, at least four other women suffered as well - three in Germantown.  That of course does not count the hundreds of babies who were torn to pieces at the hands of Carhart and his barbaric staff.  We pray that this suit brings this killing center to a screeching halt.

Carhart Abortuary Caught Operating Without A Lab Permit

Operation Rescue announced yesterday that Germantown Reproductive Health Services was caught on September 25, 2015 operating without a valid medical laboratory permit.  This was revealed during an inspection of the abortuary.  The permit they displayed expired in August 2013; at the time of the inspection the permit was already two years obsolete.  GRHS was also cited for failing to ensure that its employees were proficient in testing women for the Rh blood factor.

Both Carhart and GRHS have already been subpoenaed to appear before the Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives.  Its chairperson Marsha Blackburn stated that this panel has already determined that Stem Express and its partner abortuaries (I suspect most of them are Planned Parenthood abortuaries) have violated federal patient privacy and informed consent regulations.  When Carhart et al are set to appear in a few weeks, I hope that these latest derelictions of professional duties are addressed.

Carhart And Germantown Abortuary Subpoenaed By US Congress

The Energy and Commerce Committee of the United States Congress, Select Investigative Panel has today issued subpoenas to Leroy Carhart and Germantown Reproductive Health Services to investigate their practices.  This panel's jurisdiction includes reviewing the practices of late-term abortionists.  The number of women that Carhart has been sending to the hospital during these past few months has caught the attention of some in Washington.  Since this past December, Carhart has sent five women to Shady Grove Hospital.

In connection with this investigation, other agencies have also received subpoenas.  These include:

• Montgomery County Police
• Montgomery County Fire and Rescue
• Butler Medical Transportation
• Shady Grove Hospital
• Holy Cross Hospital - Germantown
• Maryland Board of Physicians

Ladies and gentlemen, the above account illustrates the importance of your participation in the election of federal and state representatives.  As flawed as the GOP is, it is under their watch that some accountability appears to be happening.  No one in their wildest dreams can believe that had Nancy Pelosi been Speaker of the House, that this investigation would see the light of day.

In addition to prayer, we must get ourselves to the polls on Election Day and vote for those who will advance the pro-life agenda or at least for those who will offer less hindrance to it than their opponent.  In most cases that will mean the GOP candidate.  If Democrats gain the ascendancy, this investigation will be scuttled.

Carhart Carnage Department - Eighth Woman Hospitalized As A Result Of The Butchery In Germantown

Less than two weeks ago I made mention of the seventh woman to be hospitalized by abortionist Leroy Carhart; that happened March 20th to be precise.  Exactly ten (10) days later on March 30, an ambulance pulled up to take yet another woman to Shady Grove Hospital.  That makes eight of them to go to the hospital as a result of an abortionist ripping their children from their wombs, and sometimes ripping the wombs themselves.  One of those women, Jennifer Morbelli, died.  Another woman died at his Nebraska abortuary and two others were injured there.

LifeSiteNews reports that this is the fourth woman taken away from the Germantown location since December.  I believe they are correct.  So lately one woman has been taken to the hospital every month.  Let's do some math here.  Say that Carhart takes in 8-10 women every week at Germantown, or 32-40 women every month.  That means that every woman who submits to Carhart's butchery at Germantown has at least a 2.5% chance of being taken away in an ambulance.  That's quite a high percentage.  Any woman who goes to Carhart is playing Russian Roulette with her life - never mind (for now) the fact that she is party to the destruction of her own child, with all the attendant post-abortive stress that will be hers for many years to come.

What will it take for the Maryland Board of Physicians to do their job and close down this hell hole?  Will another woman have to die?  At this rate, that tragedy may happen sooner rather than later.

From The Carhart Carnage Department: Germantown - Seven And Counting

Yesterday, March 20, at approximately 6pm, two emergency vehicles pulled in front of Germantown Reproductive Health Choices.  Shortly thereafter, they wheeled out a young girl who had started an abortion procedure earlier that afternoon.  She was taken to Shady Grove Hospital.  At this time her condition is unknown.  Maryland Coalition for Life has more detail, including video.

MCL urges action to move the political movers and shakers.  I think the other occupants of Germantown Executive Park Terrace need to be held accountable for tolerating this atrocity and murderous conduct in their midst.  If any readers conducts business with an outfit headquartered therein, please ask them what they are doing to eradicate baby-murder from their midst.

Carhart Botches His Sixth Abortion In Germantown

On December 18th, when I reported on Carhart's fifth screw-up, I predicted that it wouldn't be his last.  How could I have realized my prediction would come true so soon?  He did it yet again on January 19th.  Operation Rescue has a report with video.

So that's six - of which we know.  As Cheryl Sullenger says, it's not a matter of "if" he'll botch another; it's a question of "when".  Moreover, since he's already killed two women, odds are very high that he'll kill another.  Of course he's already murdering scores of babies as a matter of routine.

This abortion mill where the murder and mayhem occurs at Germantown Reproductive Health Services is located in Germantown Executive Park Terrace, off Wisteria Drive.  If any of my readers do business with any other occupant of this center, ask them what they are doing to drive this hell-hole from their vicinity.  They do bear some responsibility for tolerating these crimes in their office complex.

Is The Montgomery County Government Itching For Another Legal Spanking?

Almost three weeks ago, the Germantown Reproductive Health Services was visited for the fourth time by an ambulance - actually, two in this case.  As with the other cases, a botched abortion job occasioned the visits from the ambulances.

Operation Rescue obtained some heavily redacted tapes pertaining to the 911 call that summoned the ambulances there.  They also obtained some rather odd prohibitions on use of public records.  OR president Troy Newman believes that Montgomery County Council's actions are part and parcel of an attempt to cover up yet another botch-job by Leroy Carhart.  Knowing the composition of the Montgomery County Council, I believe Newman's suspicions to be very reasonable.  Newman has had a track record of successful use of similar recordings in the past.  The Council probably knows this and are trying to circle their wagons.

I truly hope that the Council sees the light of day and orders Michael Baltrotsky, Operations Supervisor of Montgomery County Fire and Rescue, to cease and desist any action against Newman.  I believe neither he nor the Council has any legals grounds on which to stand.  Given their most recent defeat with the pregnancy center law (costing the county quite a pretty penny), can they afford to have more egg on their faces - especially before the November elections?

Carhart-Affiliated Nurse's License Suspended

Last year I alerted folks to the presence of Lindsay Creekmore, a nurse working with Leroy Carhart since their days in Nebraska.  At that time, I noted that her Nebraska license was being investigated - a fact that should have precluded any employment in the State of Maryland.

Today Operation Rescue announced that the state of Nebraska has suspended her nursing license in that state owing to improper drug administration.  So for a while she cannot work in Nebraska.  I suggest my Maryland friends at Germantown keep an eye out for her in case she tries to work here again.

Carhart's Fifth Abortion Botch-Job In Germantown Results In Another Woman Taken Away By Ambulance

Almost two weeks ago in Germantown Maryland (July 2) an ambulance pulled up to Germantown Reproductive Health Services and took yet another injured woman to the hospital (presumably Shady Grove).  Since Carhart set up shop there and started murdering babies in the latter parts of their pregnancies, four ambulances have rolled into that parking lot to take women to get real medical help.  In reality, Carhart injured five women; the first, Jennifer Morbelli, was taken to the hospital after her family could not reach Carhart.  She subsequently died.

Operation Rescue has more details here, along with video.  You will note that this incident required the assistance of two ambulance crews.  OR suggests that the Maryland Board of Physicians be contacted and that we demand an honest investigation.  I concur, with a caveat.

In November, the entire State of Maryland government, from the governor on down, is up for election.  I'd suggest that all Maryland citizens of good will do all in their power to keep Anthony Brown from moving into the Statehouse after his boss Martin O'Malley leaves.  As long as the Democrat party of death holds the reins of power, there will be no honest investigation of these abortionists.  Why do we think Carhart set up shop in Maryland in the first place?  O'Malley, Brown and Joshua Sharfstein have been openly wined and dined by Maryland NARAL at their various fundraisers.  Should the Dems retain power, they will NOT upset their gravy-trains.  No success in cleaning up Germantown will occur until we see clean-up in Annapolis and in Montgomery County.

Leroy Carhart Causes Another Woman To Be Hospitalized At His Germantown Death Center

Yesterday pro-life activists in Germantown MD saw an ambulance pull in front of Germantown Reproductive Health Center.  Apparently the woman sustained "life-threatening complications".  Operation Rescue broke the story so I refer you to their page for further details.

Let me point out that this is the fourth woman that was endangered and hospitalized as a result of "reproductive health" at this Germantown facility in the past thirteen months.  In the first incident, Jennifer Morbelli died.  After the third incident, I passed out a flyer to other occupants of the Germantown Executive Center complex.  That was last November.  In that flyer I quipped that at the rate Carhart was going, the complex should have a reserved parking space for an ambulance in front of the abortuary.  Looking back I realize that was not just a smart-ass comment; it was a prophesy.

I'll also point out that for all the women that Carhart is sending to the hospital, he himself has no privileges in any Maryland hospital.  His whole career in Maryland has been spectacularly chequered, starting with falsified license applications, unlicensed personnel working for him, citations for deficiencies, etc.  These things might suffice to halt the practice of doctors in other fields, but in Maryland, where the politicians are in the hip pockets of NARAL, blind eyes behold not the glaring anomalies in Germantown.

We, particularly those of us in Maryland, must stand up and demand action.  Shine the light on this mess.  Please share this post.  Go onto Facebook, Twitter and other social media and alert your acquaintances to this travesty.  The mainstream media won't so it's up to us.  Above all, pray that this man be put out of his murder-business and come to repentance.  He's not a young man and is running out of time before he must meet his Maker.

Operation Rescue Obtains 911 Recordings Of Carhart Botch-Job At GRHS

Last November, abortionist Leroy Carhart and team caused another woman to be rushed to the hospital.  Operation Rescue filed a "Maryland Public Information Act" request to obtain a copy of the 911 call.  Just a few days ago, a heavily redacted version of the recording was received by Operation Rescue.  

It is common procedure to redact any information regarding identities of persons involved.  However, the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Department redacted much more; this over-zealous editing has the paw prints of the pro-abortion folks in high offices in the Maryland government.  Still, as the Operation Rescue article points out, the indications are that the woman taken to hospital in November was suffering from hemorrhaging.

This woman was not the first to suffer a botched abortion at Leroy Carhart's hands; chances are that she won't be the last.  To our knowledge she still lives.  I pray that she repents and receives God's forgiveness. 

Leroy Carhart Encounters Truth Once Again

This moment of grace for Leroy Carhart happened less than two weeks ago, on January 18th.  The Carharts and Monica Miller shared a plane ride.  Read what happened in Monica's own words.

This is not the first encounter he's had with the truth. He has been confronted several times at the Germantown abortuary where he murders babies not ten miles from my home.  We must pray for his conversion, as well as those of all the others involved in that horrid crime.  As things stand now, their eternal fates look very bleak.  Pray for the grace of repentance and conversion.  He could be the next Bernard Nathanson.

Carhart Sends Another Woman To MD Hospital - Third This Year!

On Feb 7th and July 9th of this year, Leroy Carhart caused two women to be hospitalized as a result of abortions they received at his Germantown facility; for more details read this link.  The woman from Feb 7th, Jennifer Morbelli, died as a direct result of his abortion procedures.

Because of the death, the State of Maryland Office of Health Care Quality conducted an "investigation" of Carhart's practice - or at least went through the motions of doing so.  In May they cleared the Carhart practice.  I learned of this in the Gazette and wrote an open letter to them.  Among other things I pointed out that Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Secretary, Dr Joshua Sharfstein was quoted as saying that "no deficiencies were found" at the Germantown mill - despite reports that are found on the DHMH site (Note: if they're gone, I took the precaution of downloading them, so just advise if they've, uh, "disappeared").  Oh, by the way!  At their October 2013 "evening of chocolate" gala, Maryland NARAL gave one of their "Leadership Awards" to - (Bet you can't guess! - Aw, you peeked!) - Dr. Joshua Sharfstein!  Go to this Defend Life newsletter and scroll to page 12.  Lots of the folks at this event (that we picketed) just gushed with praise for Sharfstein.  And Family Research Council points out that Sharfstein racked up quite a pro-abortion resume.  Way back in April, Jill Stanek noticed Sharfstein's cozy relationships with abortionists.   If you want to see more, just google "Sharfstein NARAL" and you'll see an eyeful.

Boys and girls, given the above, can we all say "fox watching hen-house"?  His May report can be summed up in these words: "Nothing to see here, folks!  Move along!"  His report, along with his chequered career screams of "conflict of interest".  But perhaps I'm being a tad too harsh.  After all, this was just a few months before the July 9th ambulance pulled up at the front door of the Germantown abortuary.

Yesterday, November 26, 2013, 11:45 am, another ambulance pulled up at the door - the second in four months!  The video is below.  At this time I know no additional details.  Operation Rescue states that the woman was taken to Shady Grove Adventist where she underwent emergency surgery.  No staff accompanied her; in fact, as I watch the clip (below) I see no family nor friend get into the ambulance and it doesn't appear that any car was preparing to follow them.  Recall that Carhart has no admitting privileges at any Maryland hospital.  If Maryland had a law similar to that of Texas, Carhart would have to remove his shingle from Germantown.

As long as Sharfstein and his bosses sit in their governmental perches, Carhart will not be dislodged.  In 2014 we have to change a lot of faces in Annapolis to bring about some real reform so that Maryland ceases being the pro-abortion mecca that it has become in recent years.  Now the video...
