Local Pregnancy Center Vandalized By Pro-Aborts Having Temper Tantrums

Several years ago I and some other sidewalk counselors gave a training seminar that was hosted by Capitol Hill Crisis Pregnancy Center in Washington DC.  It was clear to me that this was a place truly dedicated to helping women who choose to let their babies live, as opposed to subjecting them to grisly deaths.  The place abounded with all manners of baby care items, etc.

I therefore immediately recognized the place as I saw its picture on this LifeSiteNews piece.  The overgrown brats who did this cannot deal with the fact that some areas of the country will once again be able to protect children.  Ironically, Washington DC, where this happened, will remain a locale where babies will be in mortal danger.  But think of it.  If Roe does go down, the progressives will not be able to destroy as many babies as they have done, so they will look for any decent thing that they can destroy, be it pregnancy centers or churches.

Such destructive temper tantrums are coming in many forms.  Resurrecting tactics that NARAL tried in 2009, the New York state legislature passed legislation that will allow them to "investigate" pro life pregnancy centers for not slaughtering babies.  That's like investigating the American Cancer Society for not selling cigarettes.  I trust this will go down in flames just as the other NARAL tactics did in 2009.

Again, in related news, the Department of Homeland Security warmed the nation's Catholic bishops that their churches could be targeted for vandalism if Roe is scuttled, and clergy could be targeted for personal violence.  Please notice something.  The threats seem to be centered on Catholic establishments.  They aren't threatening Protestant churches or other houses of worship.  Whether the progressives realize it or not, they are acknowledging that the Catholic Church is the one true bulwark for Godly moral truth.  At any rate, we will have to be on the alert and be prepared to physically stop anyone from desecrating our churches and the Blessed Sacrament.

Pro-Life Victory In Texas!

Despite the rather novel innovations in lobbying undertaken by pro-abortion mobs (I suppose the mob scenes, hurling of human excrement/bricks/paint, threats of gun/chain violence are now lobbying practices as far as those brutes are concerned),  Texas' late-term abortion ban was passed by the Texas State Senate.  Governor Rick Perry will sign it into law.

The bill's "onerous" provisions include:

1. abortion mills held to same standards as other ambulatory surgical centers
2. abortionist performing the murder to at least have admitting privileges at one nearby hospital (unlike Leroy Carhart - who caused another woman this week to be hospitalized)
3. abortionist him/herself administering any baby-killing drugs

Hey!  If these so-called "pro-choicers" want abortion to be "safe, legal and rare", how can they wax so hysterical about this bill?  Well, as we saw by their complete lack of civilized demeanor this week, they're only "pro-death" and abortion should be legal and forget about the "safe" and the "rare".  They are shedding their "compassionate" disguises (that didn't really work too well, when you get right down to it).

Pro-Life Woman Attacked At Delaware Planned Parenthood

Operation Rescue has the accounts of a rash of women being injured at a Planned Parenthood baby-murders center in Wilmington Delaware.  The most recent count is four incidents in the past five weeks.  Perhaps the City of Wilmington should just have a reserved parking spot for their ambulances in front of the mill since they seem to be visiting there so much.

Yesterday a pro-life activist witnessed two of those incidents (yes, two in the same day), each with their attending ambulance.  As she was recording one of them, an irate woman emerged from the Planned Parenthood and assaulted her.  The details need not be rehashed here as they - and the video - are on the Operation Rescue page.  I understand the perpetrator was at large as of the writing of the OR piece.  However, it shouldn't be too difficult to trace her.  She obviously had business in the Planned Parenthood so unless the Planned Parenthood would like to be liable as an accomplice after the fact, they will cooperate with any investigation of the assault and battery.

If A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

Then a video clip is worth a million (or should we say "trillion" to impress the denizens of the White House).  Two scenes recorded by pro-lifers reveal how the embrace of abortion corrupts the mind so that the pro-abortion proponent eventually embraces violence - in both word and action.  Think about it.  Abortion is THE most violent act possible against one who is least able to defend him/herself.

First, from South Bend IN, we have "doctor" George Klopfer envisioning the sidewalk counselor's daughter being gang-raped.  His equally ghoulish thugs employees chime in.

Then from Jackson MS we see a pro-abortion security guard pepper-spraying three pro-life activists.  I understand that the three are pressing charges.  I hope that they are also holding liable the abortuary as the guard's employer.

CRS Caught Employing Pro-Abortion Folks - One Of Them Violent

Amid all its other recent scandals new ones have come to light regarding some of the personnel of Catholic Relief Services.  I won't comment on all of them but will refer you to LifeSite News for further detail.

I will comment on Charisse Espy Glassman, who was convicted of vehicular assault after driving her car into a group of pro-life activists during the 2011 March for Life in DC.  In addition to aspiring to a political career in the Democrat party she was employed at the time with CRS-Haiti.  She remained with them until August 2011.  I know the assault victim who suffered the injured back.  In fact, when I was getting started in pro-life work, her mother and I spent many hours at an abortuary off Shady Grove Road in Gaithersburg.

I fear that CRS may well be simply an international version of CCHD.

More Liberal Self-Righteousness At The Abortion Mill

Yesterday at the Planned Parenthood in Silver Spring, MD, another neighborhood malcontent attempted to remove the pro-life signs on his own dubious authority.  This case was a little different from the rest.  He seemed to be enraged over one sign only - the sign with the word "abortionist" on it.  So no, one cannot blame the "horrible graphic pictures" this time!

While he was grabbing for the sign, two men (one a priest) from our group approached.  Their presence must have caused the man to reconsider the wisdom (or lack thereof) of his endeavors.  He did call the police but left before they arrived.

Please note some things:

• For all the self-righteous snooting and snorting that progressives heave our way, complaining that we "force our views" on others, this fellow seemed to have no qualms about literally forcing his views on us by attempting to steal the sign.
• You'll notice his complaints about the sign "inciting violence".  It seems the only violence being "incited" was his own.  Do you think that maybe, just maybe, his lack of self-control or his own arrogance might have been contributing factors?  Oh, no!!  Perish the thought!!!  It was all the fault of an arrow-shaped yellow sign no higher than the knee!
• Towards the end, you'll hear him try to utter some lame excuse that the "abortionist" sign pointed out a specific individual.  What nonsense!  How many people listed in the White Pages go by the name "abortionist"?
• That these people think they can arbitrate who gets to enjoy First Amendment rights should surprise no one.  After all, they seem to think they can determine if a baby should be allowed to be born or to be subject to murder.

A "Chumpion For Choice" Snagged By The Law's Long Arm!

A deathscort plying his trade outside of a Planned Parenthood in Ann Arbor, MI, repeatedly committed assault and battery against a sidewalk counselor while the latter was engaged in a conversation according to this report by Jill Stanek.  This attack was witnessed and charges were filed.  Thus Bernie Klein is to be arraigned in district court on January 20, 2012.

Go further down Stanek's piece and you'll see Mr Klein has quite a chequered past.  On the news clip his name is mentioned in conjunction with the "Final Exit Network", an assisted-suicide (i.e. murder) network.  Given his fascination with murder, Klein's 21 years of deathscorting makes sense.

Another Planned Parenthood Security Guard Flies Off The Handle

This past Wednesday in Columbus OH, some pro-lifers were protesting at a Planned Parenthood fundraiser.  The event was called "Condom Couture 2011", a rather interesting name, but I digress.

A rogue off-duty cop who was moonlighting as a security guard for Planned Parenthood aggressed on the demonstrators.  They called a police detective.  When he came and tried to explain constitutional rights to the guard, the guard then assaulted the detective.  Fortunately the pro-lifers had a camcorder and caught the debacle; a "youtube" of it is online and is embedded in the Lifenews report, with additional details.  If you cannot see embedded video, please click here.

This situation is quite similar to another situation that occurred at a building in which Planned Parenthood rents office space in Silver Spring MD.  There too was an agressive security guard that was there at the behest of Planned Parenthood.  As you watch the video below, you'll see the assault in the second half of the clip (click here if you cannot see embedded video).  The building management eventually forbade Planned Parenthood to retain guards outside their building.  Important note:  If pro-lifers did not have camcorders at the ready to capture the evidence of violence, there most likely would have been no corrective action taken in either case.

Fire Bomb Thrown At Pro-Life Prayer Warrior At An Abortuary

Don't expect to find this in the Washington Post or New York Times.  Had it been a pro-abortion person who was the target of the violence, they would sound the alarm far and wide and often.  But not for a pro-life person - mum's the word.  That's why we bloggers are here - and why the Messiah Most Miserable and the Mindless Minions of the Left want to shut us down.

Last evening, in Kalispell, Montana, someone threw a Molotov cocktail bomb at a 40 Days for Life participant as she was praying in front of the local abortuary.  Fortunately he or she missed and the woman, who was rather elderly, was unharmed.  It did ignite as it hit the ground.  Had it hit her, it would have injured her and perhaps even killed her.

From the Lifenews account, the woman appeared to have been alone (I'll get into that deplorable state of affairs later).  She called the local 40 Days leader who alerted the police.  Apparently it's rather difficult to alert that police department out of its lethargy, owing to their dismissive attitude towards what may have been an attempt on that woman's life.  Tom Brecha of the Thomas More Society is stepping forward on that woman's behalf to press for disciplinary action against the (hardly) responding officer and his supervisor.

Wake-up call for 40 Days for Life leaders!!  Anyone who accepts a position of leadership, formal or de facto, bears moral responsibility for the safety of the people whom he/she directs in any Christian/pro-life endeavor.  You must, before God, do your utmost to make conditions as safe as humanly possible.  Don't be naive or cavalier with that aspect of your responsibilty and then claim that is "trusting God".  That is not true faith; rather, it is a sanctimoneous cop-out.

Leaders!  Please make it a policy that no one goes out alone to the mills - particularly women.  If that means some slots go uncovered, that's just tough tiddly-winks.  Of course there will be some who do so anyway; you can't stop that, but you can make very clear that you disapprove of that.  Again, the responsibility is ours.

Joe And Ann Scheidler's Home Vandalized

This morning, at approximately 2:00am, two windows of the Scheidlers' home were smashed by bricks.  One of the bricks had a threatening note attached to it, betraying the vandal's pro-abortion proclivities.  I'll redirect you to the Lifenews article, so that you can see the note, which was obviously written by someone who is rendered imbalanced in part by her abortion.

Except for the internet community, news of these acts of pro-abortion violence would not be known to the public.  The pro-abortion mainstream media tends to look the other way when it comes to these matters.  There is a local case-in-point regarding the media's bias.  Three such incidents happened in Maryland during the weekend of May 24, 2004.

1. The Gabriel Project's office in Bowie was ransacked and vandalized, causing thousands of dollars in damges.
2. Pregnancy Center West in Baltimore's offices were hosed out.
3. The Gabriel Project sign outside the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Baltimore was vandalized.

Someone had a busy weekend.  I will say, though, that those incidents were investigated as hate crimes.

The Lifenews article gives a mailing address for the Scheidlers.  Why not send them a contribution to help them repair the damages?  Such donations might come in handy, especially since the Chicago CCHD so ignobly defunded the Pro-Life Action League recently.

Abortion: Excuse To Victimize Women

Want proof?  Well, read on.

Last week, a man in Ohio was apprehended after he attempted to force his girl friend into an abortion.  It seems to be the "easy out" for these fellows who want to use women and then get rid of "the evidence".  As I've said previously, I see this all the time in front of the abortuary where several of us offer Christian witness.  Fortunately he was not successful in harming his unborn child.

Closer to home in Oxon Hill, MD, a similar situation ended in the man murdering the woman after she refused to abort her child.  The Gazette reports that the man was sentenced to 30 years for her murder.  Read the story and ask yourself just exactly how women are being helped here.

Abortion is seen as an "easy out".  When the mother-to-be listens to her maternal instincts and refuses, the man, if unscrupulous, will take that as an excuse to perpetrate violence upon her, sometimes with deadly results.  In front of the abortion mills, it is painfully obvious that there is a fear of violence in the face of many women going in with male companions.  Those who call themselves "pro-choice escorts" betray their lack of integrity by turning blind eyes towards the suffering women they claim to champion.  I challenge them to prove me wrong.
