Another Abortuary Bites The Dust!

It was March of 2004 when we started our pro-life presence of prayer, sidewalk counseling and general Christian witness in front of this place at 1400 Spring Street, Silver Spring, MD.  It was a branch office of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan DC.  Now thirteen years later, they are closing shop.

They seem to be consolidating their operations at their new abortuary in NE Washington.  I think it's quite possible that our presence there, week after week, year after year, contributed to their decision to close their Maryland abortuary.  Perhaps we cut into their revenue stream so much that they couldn't justify, from a business viewpoint, the expenses of keeping that place open.  Whatever the reason, the air in Silver Spring, fetid with progressivism as it is, will be just a tad bit fresher with the removal of one baby-murder center.

When we arrived at Silver Spring in March of 2004, we had just seen the closing of Hillcrest Women's Surgi-Center, a 30-year old abortuary on Georgia Avenue, just south of the MD-DC border.  We celebrated when that murder center closed and will do so again.  Stay tuned for details on that, and where we'll be next (so you can join us!).  Meanwhile please pray your rosaries for the closure of more of these hell-holes.  I'd also suggest checking out 40 Days to see where you can participate in their efforts.

In Mourning 100 Years Of Planned Parenthood, There Is Some Light And Action For You To Take

Today marks 100 years of the existence of Planned Parenthood: an organization that has murdered 7.3 million babies to date.  More murders are added daily to that number.  Started in the early 20th century by eugenicist Margaret Sanger, this organization has wreaked much cultural destruction in civilization.  For important background, I'd advise watching the clip "Maafa 21".

Yesterday many prolife people gathered at their local Planned Parenthood death mills to pray in reparation and mourn the death and destruction caused by Planned Parenthood.  At the Planned Parenthood of Metro DC facility in Silver Spring, we did just that.  Our event featured Eric Scheidler, Executive Director of Pro-Life Action League and Father Greg Markey.  The video of this event appears below.

After these two men, you'll hear from Lauren Handy, who announced yesterday that Planned Parenthood lost their lease at 1400 Spring Street.  They now rent on a "month-to-month" basis.  She distributed the flyer to the right that suggests actions to be taken in order to have Planned Parenthood finally evicted from this building.  I will suggest additional actions to be taken.

A search of the Maryland real estate database reveals that the owner of record is "1400 Spring Street LLC" and that the mailing address is the same as listed in the above flyer.  Now we look at Maryland's business entity database and see that the principal office of the LLC is 5 Sunset Cay Road, Key Largo, FL.  The LLC was formed in Florida.  Denise Peel, cited in the flyer, is the Maryland registered agent.  If we search Peel Properties, we see that their principal address is the Key Largo address.  So who/what is to be found at Sunset Cay Road?  A spokeo search reveals a rather posh neighborhood, with two people with the last name "Peel" living at that address.  In googling the word "Peel" along with the FL address, we determine that William and Barbara Peel live at that address.  They are also the principals and managing members of Peel Properties LLC.  To sum all this up, in addition to the contacts on the flyer, we should also address William and Barbara Peel at the Key Largo address and ask them to accelerate Planned Parenthood's departure from the Spring Street building.

As was said toward the end of the video below, we need as many people acting on this as possible.  Those of you in the MD/DC area, we need you on the sidewalk in front of this mill.  If you're not local, then please get out in front of your local death camp to pray and offer help.

From The Deathscort Follies Department: Deathscorts Try To Dictate Terms Of Public Discourse

Today's incident, occurring at approximately 9:30 this morning, is on the video below.  Although you can't see me behind the camcorder, you do hear me, particularly at the end.  The "WACDTF guidelines" to which I referred several times can be found on their website.  You may wish to have the page open in a separate window.  The deathscorts in the DC/MD area operate under an organization called "Washington Area Clinic Defense Task Force", or WACDTF for short.

According to these guidelines (such as they are), particularly the second one, they are supposed to "secure positions required to keep clinic access open".  It would seem logical that to follow a pro-life activist as she walks over one block away from the abortuary is to do the exact opposite of "securing these positions".  Yet that is precisely what happened.  The young male deathscort followed one of the pro-life people away from the mill to the parking garage that is a city block away from the mill.  While there, he interrupts another pro-life person as she is engaged in conversation.  That is the start of the video.  Later he arrogantly attempted to dictate terms of public discourse and I called him out on it.

As happened approximately six weeks ago, pro-life activists throughout the country protested at local Planned Parenthood centers to rebuke their murders of babies and sale of the corpses of their victims.  Thus 85 or so activists gathered at the Silver Spring Planned Parenthood yesterday morning.  We heard from Drew Belsky of LifeSiteNews and Dr. Michael Crone of George Mason University.  While their topics were slightly different, both men reminded us that while the immediate objective may be the defunding of Planned Parenthood, we must continue to make it our ultimate aim to stop the murder of babies altogether.

Death-Camp Neighbors At Spring Street - Today's Nazi Citizens

For the last 10+ years, several of us pro-life activists have been outside the Planned Parenthood in Silver Spring MD to pray for an end to the barbarity occurring in suite 450 of 1400 Spring Street in Silver Spring MD.  We also offer real help to women going into that hell hole, aware that many feel they have no alternative due to difficult personal circumstances.  See here for some accounts of our outreaches.

We are in Silver Spring MD, a notorious nest of progressives and pro-abortion individuals.  Many of them are in the neighborhood just across the street from us.  I have written before of some acrimonious interactions between them and us.  I draw your attention to this piece.  In it I made mention of the Nazi death camps and their surrounding neighborhoods.  When the Allies invaded Germany and liberated the death camps, they forced the citizens of the neighboring towns to tour the camps and witness the carnage that they allowed to happen.  Here is an account of such an exercise.

You'll notice that an excuse that the Germans gave was "we didn't know".  Whether or not that is true we'll never know.  What we do know is that there is now no such excuse, especially when we who seek to inform are discounted and even hated for the information we bring them.  Such has been the case for the Woodside neighborhood just to our north.  It was evidenced in this incident five years ago and again today.

In the wake of the CMP videos regarding Planned Parenthood's murder of babies and selling of their bodies, we have launched an effort to defund Planned Parenthood.  One of our number arrived late today and parked her car in the neighborhood.  She was legally parked and put her "Defund Planned Parenthood" inside her front windshield.

Some time later a man from the neighborhood approached two of our number (neither of them the owner of the car) and voiced his objections to the sign. What were his objections?  Well, it seems that he was hosting a birthday party for his child and thought it "inappropriate" for the children to see.

Let's ponder the inane silliness of what this guy was saying.  First, let's forget about objections to "those gory pictures" for none were present on her car.

• Any kids I know who attend birthday parties would not notice such signage (no more so than other signs on other cars).  They'd be focused on ice cream, cake, gifts and games.
• We know who would find the signs "inappropriate".  It would be those who support baby-murder, so we can consider as potential "offendees" the man and/or his adult guests.
• If anything is "inappropriate for children", it's Planned Parenthood itself.  It is very "inappropriate" to murder tiny children and exploit their corpses for "research".

So the guy finally left.  An hour or so later, one of our number noticed that the windshield had been covered over so that the sign was blocked.  Boys and girls, can we say "vandalism"?  Consider the arrogance.  The guy had his grubby paws on my friend's car, arbitrarily and erroneously deciding that her First Amendment rights were not to be respected: most likely because what her sign said pricked his guilty pro-abortion conscience.

Fortunately - for the guy - it was not anything that could not be removed.  And it was removed by the driver's husband.  Afterwards I took some pictures and now post them below.

You can see that the car, with sign in front windshield, is legally parked.

This is the sign that the guy covered over.  His act of covering the sign is legally actionable.

It was parked in front of 8706 2nd Avenue, Silver Spring, MD.  The man who approached the two women said the car was parked "in front of his house", so this must be where he lives.

Today's Protest At Silver Spring Planned Parenthood

Today the regular pro-life crew, along with 150-200 others, joined with thousands of other like-minded pro-life people in the US (and Ireland, I understand) in the effort to #protestpp.  Many came out in the wake of the seven (so far!) videos from Center for Medical Progress.

I post below video of our event and it's quite self-explanatory.  I did make a typo in the first title with the year, but because the youtube upload took so long, I didn't think it was worth the extra time to fix it.  I do repeat that similar scenarios were repeated at hundreds of other Planned Parenthood locations today.  As you'll hear one of the speakers declare, Planned Parenthood must be destroyed. Yes, defunding is an important step, but it is only one step towards destroying an organization that had racism and eugenics as prime motives of its founding by Margaret Sanger (go to www.maafa21.com for more info on that).

The Madness Of Thanking Accomplices To Baby-Murder

Parenthood facility in Silver Spring MD.  Abortions, that is, the murder of babies occurs there regularly.  Our attempts to offer help are hindered by a group of pro-abortion activists, hereafter called deathscorts invited there by Planned Parenthood; certainly they don't want us to deprive them of their blood money.

The neighborhood to our north seems to be populated by mostly pro-abortion sympathizers.  Bear in mind this is Silver Spring, one of the most liberal/whacko areas of the state.  Last January I posted about an orchestrated campaign of their's to offer "thanks" to the deathscorts.  Why they offer "thanks" to these misguided individuals is beyond me; suffice it to say that in doing so, they accept part of the guilt for the blood of babies wantonly shed within a mile of their homes.

Well, word must have gotten around that the deathscorts were down in the dumps.  Who wouldn't be, when they're actively participating in the murder of babies?  So the "thank the deathscort" troupe was obviously mobilized to come out en masse today.  I have to say they're so transparent.  They seem to have protocols in place as they congratulate accomplices to baby-murder.  To wit:

• The deathscort-thanker must be walking a dog.  It is, however, acceptable not to have a dog with you if you're driving by in a car or maybe jogging.
• The deathscort-thanker must stop and allow the deathscorts to pet the dog.  This allows the deathscorts to pretend that they're kind and gentle as they hustle mothers into the doors and block our efforts.
• The deathscort-thanker must never, ever ask the pro-life activists why they are there.  To do so might introduce truth to them and cause them to understand that Planned Parenthood is committing murder in their own neighborhood.

Pray for all involved in the murder of babies - and for those who give aid and/or comfort to them.  They place their immortal souls in grave danger of eternal damnation.

What Does PP Mean?

That set of initials can mean a lot of things.  It could mean, for example, "Pimp Protectors".  Most of us in pro-life circles understand that it means "Planned Parenthood".  Today it was driven home to us that there isn't all that much difference between "Planned Parenthood" and "Pimp Protectors".

At approximately 9:35 this morning, one of our number approached a couple headed north on First Street towards the "PP" located at 1400 Spring Street in Silver Spring MD.  The guy, pictured to the right, looks to be in his late 30s, at the youngest.  The woman, who seemed to be foreign-born, was a bit younger.  She kept trying to offer them information about the dangers of Planned Parenthood.  The guy wanted to hear nothing of it.  He had coffee in his hand and he flung it all over the pro-life counselor.  That didn't deter her.  She and another persisted in their attempts to stop their death march.  They alerted me and I started recording.  He saw that.  We also called out that we were going to call the police as he got to the door.

When he heard the word "police", he seemed to have an epiphany of sorts.  He grabbed the woman's arm and they scurried back to the parking garage.  Two of us went after them to see if we could take his plates (so our friend could file assault charges).  We never saw them, but we certainly drew the attention of one of the deathscorts, as you'll see below.  We thought his behavior in leaving at the mention of police odd, but we considered all the details.  He was bringing an unwilling younger woman who was foreign-born for an abortion or birth control.  It certainly seemed that he didn't want to interact with any police whatsoever - that he might have had something to hide.  To us, there is all the smell of a sex-trafficking ring.  Of course we cannot know for certain, but when there's smoke, there's often fire.

I said in the previous paragraph that we drew the attention of one of the deathscorts.  A little background, first.  These orange-vested minions of death are organized under something called the "Washington Area Clinic Defense Task Force".  They even have their own website, and some ostensible guidelines.  So they're supposed to guard the clinics from us "right-wingers".  I for one fail to see how the following of us as we're walking away from the mill fulfills their mission.  It doesn't.  She was simply trying to intimidate us - alas, to no avail!  But here you see demonstrated the intellectual vacuity of the pro-abortion mentality.

Futile Attempt To Hide Truth

The "pro-choice clinic escorts" in our area are organized under the umbrella of the Washington Area Clinic Defense Task Force.  Their orange jerseys used to bear that name and logo.  It is that to which I made reference.  Isn't it revealing how they try to hide the truth of the horror they advocate?  Whom do they think they're fooling?  Maybe themselves, although I doubt that's a smashing success.  Click here if you can't see the embedded video.

More Liberal Self-Righteousness At The Abortion Mill

Yesterday at the Planned Parenthood in Silver Spring, MD, another neighborhood malcontent attempted to remove the pro-life signs on his own dubious authority.  This case was a little different from the rest.  He seemed to be enraged over one sign only - the sign with the word "abortionist" on it.  So no, one cannot blame the "horrible graphic pictures" this time!

While he was grabbing for the sign, two men (one a priest) from our group approached.  Their presence must have caused the man to reconsider the wisdom (or lack thereof) of his endeavors.  He did call the police but left before they arrived.

Please note some things:

• For all the self-righteous snooting and snorting that progressives heave our way, complaining that we "force our views" on others, this fellow seemed to have no qualms about literally forcing his views on us by attempting to steal the sign.
• You'll notice his complaints about the sign "inciting violence".  It seems the only violence being "incited" was his own.  Do you think that maybe, just maybe, his lack of self-control or his own arrogance might have been contributing factors?  Oh, no!!  Perish the thought!!!  It was all the fault of an arrow-shaped yellow sign no higher than the knee!
• Towards the end, you'll hear him try to utter some lame excuse that the "abortionist" sign pointed out a specific individual.  What nonsense!  How many people listed in the White Pages go by the name "abortionist"?
• That these people think they can arbitrate who gets to enjoy First Amendment rights should surprise no one.  After all, they seem to think they can determine if a baby should be allowed to be born or to be subject to murder.

How To "Terrorize" Without Really Trying

We discovered how to do so - quite inadvertently - while we were in front of the Planned Parenthood death center in Silver Spring MD.  At the moment of this "discovery", there were a number of us on the sidewalk - pro-life activists, pro-abortion deathscorts and sundry building visitors.  All was calm, there was no particular agitation of note - at least to me.

Someone who drove by the north side of Spring Street was somewhat flustered, as he yelled out "Terrorists!" from his car window.  Wondering if he beheld something I couldn't see from my vantage point, I crossed the street to see if I could discover the cause of his alarm.  This is what I saw:

At first glance, the scene looks like what I described in the preceding paragraph.  But wait!  What is that picture on top of the car?  Why, yes!  Indeed it is the object of that man's obvious fright!  I zoomed in for a closer look and post it below.  Ladies and gentlemen, if and only if you have the courage, I invite you to view the horrible visage for yourselves - but be warned!  If it caused that man to accuse of being terrorists, why, it must be frightening indeed!

Are you really brave enough to sneak a peak?  OK - but don't say I didn't warn you!  You better have your smelling salts handy because here it is!

EEEEKK!!

Now that we've all sufficiently recovered our senses after what must have been the most terrifying moments in our lives to date, let's consider a few things.  If that man was an Obama fan, that is, a Minion Most Mindless of the Messiah Most Miserable, he will be of like mind with the mental midget who said that he wouldn't want his daughters "punished with a baby".  In other words, they hold the warped view that babies are things to be avoided at best - and even torn to shreds if they dare to exist at times deemed inconvenient.

Of course it's no secret that those who are depraved of conscience (and that includes all who deem themselves "pro-choice") will always find the proclamation of the truth to be a dire threat to their own cocoon of self-deception.  No sane, rational person could look at the picture of that sweet baby and have the word "Terrorists!" bleat from their mouths.  However, no person who calls themselves "pro-choice" can be called "sane" or "rational" for they permit, if not outright support, the wanton murders of innocent babies.

The real terrorism is what happens inside Planned Parenthood and the other execution chambers commonly known as "abortion clinics".  The silly antics of that drive-by shouter and too many others will never obfuscate that truth.

The (Dis)Honorary Deathscort

That's what I'll call this bicycling interloper.  At about 8:20 this morning, the pro-life activist (in red shirt) was sharing pro-life information with a couple across the street from the Planned Parenthood in Silver Spring.  The bicyclist was riding by, then circled back and interjected himself into the conversation.  That's where my video picks up.  Click here if you can't see embedded video.


Clearly he had no concern for the couple nor for their unborn baby.  The next time these pro-abortion folks tell us how concerned they are for "privacy" we can just recall this fellow, for he had to eavesdrop on the conversation in order to butt in and interfere.

We never saw the couple again after the door closed behind them.  The guy cycled around us a few times before he decided that he had done enough damage for the day (or he just got bored) and rode away.  He's just another pro-abortion shill whose conscience is stung by our witness.  We hope and pray that he comes to repentance.

At Spring Street Planned Parenthood In Silver Spring On March 17

Despite the fact that I haven't posted much on our pro-life witness in front of the Spring Street Planned Parenthood on Saturdays, it has been ongoing and will continue as long as babies are being murdered therein.

The 40 Days for Life Campaign for Lent 2012 is occurring at many baby-killing centers throughout the world - including the one at Spring Street.  Yesterday marked the mid-point for this current campaign and it was marked with a rally.  I'm estimating 30-40 pro-life activists were in attendance.

That began at 10:00am.  Before that, we had a rather interesting encounter with a guy who was obviously pro-abortion.  He went so far as to declare (sarcastically I hope) that "I want to kill a baby".

Escort Misbehavior - August 27, 2011

From time to time, I'll have occasion to post videos of incidents involving misbehaviors of those who call themselves "pro-choice clinic escorts".  You may already have seen some of them.  Well here are two incidents that happened two days ago - this past Saturday.

The first involves a pro-life activist who is calling out to a woman headed into the building.  Notice how the "escort" is jumping in her face as she does so, and as she moves to get away from him.  I would call that aggression.  Click here if you cannot see embedded video.



This next one shows the same escort.  He's just being silly here. I suppose he thought the people praying the Rosary would really be intimidated by him taking pictures with his cell phone. Whatever!! Click here if you cannot see embedded video.

Gazette Publishes Pro-Life Letters Regarding Article About Front-Line Activism

Last week I speculated that the Gazette probably wouldn't publish pro-life letters that contradicted the obvious slant of their article and editorial regarding our presence in front of baby-killing centers.  I'm pleased to discover that I was incorrect about that.  In today's edition appears three letters that lend some balance to earlier-stated opinion.  I will link to them.

The Gazette Probably Won't Publish These Letters!

One of the reasons this blog was started was to give an audible voice to those of traditional Christian beliefs and morals who would not otherwise have a forum - not in the liberal mainstream media nor in the Catholic Standard.  Accordingly, I'll now publish letters to the editor that were recently submitted to the Gazette on the occasion of their recent editorial and the article the week prior, both touching on the ongoing Christian witness at the Spring Street Planned Parenthood.  Not surprisingly, there was a discernable left-wing bias in the Post-owned Gazette.  The letters will appear after the jump break.

Montgomery County Gazette And Free Speech

About a month ago some reporters from the Gazette papers interviewed some of us who witness at the Spring Street Planned Parenthood in Silver Spring MD.  The article appeared in last week's edition.  Considering that the Gazette is owned by the Washington Post, a mainstream media outlet that makes no secret of its left-wing bias, the article was relatively decent although it was a tad distorted to the left.

This week the editorial staff weighed in with their editorial.  Here is the link.  Notice the first sentence, where they outright accuse us of overstepping the First Amendment into "harassment".  The article also applies "hindrance" to our activiites, conceding to the perjorative terminology employed by the "Washington Clinic Defense Task Force".  That is factually incorrect.  In no way do we hinder or block those going into the building.  We offer them information that is relevant to their situations - or at least we attempt to do so, for it is we who are hindered by the "clinic volunteers".  Here is some prima facie evidence.  Click here if you can't see embedded video.



One sentence in this editorial is almost breathtaking in its inadvertent honesty.  I quote: "Women entering clinics may not be in the best frame of mind to talk with a stranger and think seriously about their decision."  That's right!  The Gazette is admitting that many of these women are NOT thinking seriously about their decisions.  We simply urge them to do so, as a decision to abort their babies will have devastating consequences on them - maybe not immediately but those consequences will make their presence felt.   Later on the Gazette states that the decsion to abort is "life-changing".  We agree!  Should they not be offered all available information?  As you saw in the video, who's doing the "hindering"?  More importantly, who is being harmed by the "hindrance"?  The women - and their unborn children!

Another "Safe" Abortion!

I know some of you near the Woodside Park in Silver Spring watch this blog.  Some of you have expressed chagrin at our signs that depict the reality of what you tolerate in your neighborhood.  Of course they prick your consciences - as they should, if you're sympathetic to the baby-murdering Planned Parenthood at 1400 Spring Street.

Watch this video (if you have the guts and integrity to do so).  Is this the sort of thing you'll tolerate in your neighborhood?  This woman's distress was entirely unnecessary, as abortion is never necessary.  Oh, by the way - this death center is a member of the National Abortion Federation.  So much for their overly-vaunted standards!  Click here if you can't see embedded video.
