Bimbo Video - A Segue To Women's Ordination?

First, let me highlight a point that I did make in my Christmas Day post, "More On The Bimbo Video".  I just now emboldened some lines previously written that made clear that what I wrote was in no way to be construed as an evaluation of the actress's character in general.  That said, she did agree to adopt the stereotypical mannerisms and personae of a bimbo.  I opine that was abysmally poor judgment on her part - but she chose to play a bimbo, now she owns the consequences.  I am not the only "mean-spirited" woman to be bemused by this mischaracterization of women.  Mary Jo Anderson, writing for Catholic World Report, in her own excellent article, nicknamed her "Coquette".  She briefly quotes the reactions of other Catholic women that are quite direct.

Having just learned of this article (which I highly recommend for your reading), I now believe it was that piece, rather than our US-based blogs, that caused the Pontifical Council for Culture to pull the video.  CWR does have far greater international readership than do we, and this article would have made tremendous blips on the Vatican radar.  However, her article is also in English.  The Council pulled only the English version of the bimbo-video.  The Italian version remains on their site.  Please note that below the video they did provide the script in English.  Why in the name of heaven did they bother to do that?  Would it not have made more sense to leave the English online?  How stupid do they think we are?  Or, more to the point, how stupidly can they act?

But the woman in the video asks "at what point are we today as women".  I redirect your attention to the window that opened when you clicked the first link.  Please check the comments section for information from commenter Marie, for which I thank her.  Therein she cites a post by Eponymous Flower, dating back to November, just after the Sin-Nod.  This post exposes the heterodox Pablo D'Ors, appointed as Consulter for the Pontifical Council for Culture by Pope Francis.  Please read the EF post, as I believe Tancred is onto something.  D'Ors dabbles in Zen Buddhism, describes himself as "erotic, mystical and weird" with a "life full of loving relationships" and yes, he's a priest.

Tancred's article starts by saying, "The Pontifical Council for Culture  is preparing an 'opening' towards women priests?   Pablo d'Ors, appointed papal Consultor of the Council for Culture since July 1st, is convinced of a realignment. 'While orthodox Church representatives are being kicked out from the Vatican, heretics are being brought in,' said Messa in Latino about the Spanish priest, novelist and Zen Buddhist and his interview in the daily newspaper La Repubblica."  No doubt there is a realignment, and it's to the detriment of the Church and the souls entrusted to her care.

As for the answer to that first question regarding an "opening towards women priests", I strongly suspect the bimbo-video is part and parcel of that opening.

Bimbo Video Gone?? NOPE!!!

Remember this and this?   Well, you be shocked - just shocked I tell you! - to learn that the bimbo video has mysteriously disappeared!  (ahem!)

Or...has it?  Remember - once something is on the internet, it never really goes away!  Never-ever!

Perhaps I had a divine revelation from above, or some preternatural flash of wisdom!  Nah!  Those of us who've been dealing with progressive peons within the chanceries, Catholic conferences and yes, the Vatican, simply know too well how their brains churn.  I knew that the video would be pulled - not because they realized that the video reeked of both stupidity and immoral depravity, but because too many of us exposed it for the ungodly drivel that it is.  At least three of us, e.g., Creative Minority Report, Tenth Crusade and this blog, exposed it.

Question!  Why do they think the mere pulling of the video will do them any good?  Without a proper apology, they simply look like bumbling fools in damage-control mode.

Knowing that the video might be pulled, I made certain that it would never quite go away.  Here it is! You'll need Windows Media Viewer to watch it.

By the way - the gal suggests emailing lifeofwomen2015@gmail.com.  Why don't we use that email address to comment on both the cheesy video and even cheesier way in which they're trying damage control here?

More On The Bimbo Video

On Tuesday I commented on the disgraceful video produced by the Pontifical Council for Culture (if that clip is what they produce, they really aren't any culture council at all, but I digress).  Yesterday my friend and blogging colleague at Tenth Crusade put up her own take on the matter.  Truth be told, I thought her analysis was more superior and in-depth than was mine.  She is absolutely right.   That woman who "starred" (using the word "starred" loosely) in that flick adopted the personae of the typical dumb-blond-sex-kitten bimbo.  That observation is not to be construed as an evaluation of the woman's character in general, but one must question why she played that role.  Perhaps she thought it was ok since it was a Vatican venture; that is its own can of worms and does speak to scandal emanating from the Vatican.

I don't know how much the Pontifical Council for Culture paid this woman to purse her lips and squint her eyes in what Tenth Crusade aptly describes as seduction to get her point across.  At least they allowed her to be decently dressed but otherwise it clearly was an abuse of her sexuality.  The fact that any Vatican agency would see fit to release that clip that is just a few steps shy from pornography only points to corruption and lack of Catholic morality in that Council and perhaps at higher levels of the Vatican.  If there is indeed that kind of laxity of Catholic morals, is it too much to fear that there might well be a lack of belief in Jesus Christ Himself?

I went to Christmas Day Mass today.  The gospel was from John 1:1-18.  Please read, for it speaks of the importance of authentic belief in Jesus Christ.  This bimbo-video is the antithesis of what one might expect from those who really hold dear their God and their Church.

Argentine Cardinal Ravasi Committed Idolatry Last November

Rorate Caeli (ht, by the way!) has the article - along with video - of Cardinal Ravasi doing homage to an animist "goddess".  What a travesty to see a Prince of the Church commit a mortal sin of idolatry, in the name of misguided "ecumenism".  I use the word "idolatry" for that is what it is - a sin against the First Commandment, committed in public by a cardinal no less.

Ravasi is also president of the Pontifical Council for Culture.  If that phrase sounds familiar, it's because that office spewed forth the "bimbo video" and the "bsdm art".  Given the idolater that is at its helm, it's really no wonder that such vomit was spewed forth from that council.  Please note that both those travesties were publicized shortly after Ravasi committed the very public idolatry.

Is all this part and parcel of the "maturation" that the pope wants us to undergo?

Laudato Si Has Been Leaked

Reports state that L'Espresso has obtained a draft copy of the thing in the Italian language.  The Vatican "deplores" the leak, calling it a "heinous act".  That might be arguably true since it seems the entire document is itself a heinous act.

The English is not yet out (to the best of my knowledge) but here are some snippets.  Warning!  Some of these translations will have leftist leanings; of course, given what we know so far of this encyclical, these translations may well be accurate.  That doesn't mean they are factually correct, just accurate with regard to the text of the encyclical itself.  Here are some takes from National Journal; here's some from the Guardian and from the Independent.

As you read these things, it does seem that the pope has been hoodwinked into following the "man caused all this global warming and we will all die if we don't stop making carbon footprints right now!" hysteria.  At least I hope he's being hoodwinked and not deliberately colluding with the one-world-government progressives like Jeffrey Sachs.  At any rate, he has joined the progressive clamor for one-world government and population control.  Take a look at the second comment from the Independent site.  The commenter is calling on the church, in light of the Vatican's erroneous embrace of the junk science to "halt population growth" and even "reduce population"; as horrid as that sounds, it is a logical "next step" to the mental brain-rot that seems to underlie this encyclical.  As stated before, "population control" is explicitly called for by the Pontifical Academy for the Sciences.

We even see hints of earth-worship in this mess.  At the beginning, the thing says, "the earth is protesting for the wrong that we are doing to her, because of the irresponsible use and abuse of the goods that God has placed on her."  Time for some basic thoughts on what constitutes personhood.  The earth is a planet: an inanimate object.  Inanimate objects, not being persons, do not protest.  They are not sentient beings and they have neither voice nor rights.  Any inanimate object, in the singular, has the impersonal pronoun "it" assigned to it: not the personal pronouns "she" or "her".  Got that?  Sheesh!  One can wonder why he didn't go all the way and call the earth "gaia".

Elsewhere in the document the pope stated,  "in this encyclical, I especially propose to enter into discussion with everyone regarding our common home."  No he doesn't.  He means to use the weight of his holy office to cram a progressive agenda down our throats.  As for "discussion", see this post for treatment that the Vatican meted out to Lord Christopher Monckton and other scientists who oppose the "climate change" scam.  In that post, I voiced my opinion that the Holy Father, by throwing the weight of the papacy behind global warming, is prostituting the dignity and authority of the Chair of Peter.  I not only stand behind by statement, I reiterate it.

The Independent article erroneously claims that an encyclical is the "highest level of teaching document a pope can issue".  Not true.  It is not solemnly proclaimed dogma.  Mark Rhoads put out a nice summary of the differences; rather than reinvent the wheel I link to it now.  Not even the science that the pope seems to invoke is behind the wacky theory of global warming.  We are not bound in conscience to swallow that kool-aid in order to be a Catholic in good standing.  I for one won't.

Oh, by the way.  The leak of the encyclical was called a "heinous act".  Here's another one, with heinous acting to boot. It probably has the Vatican's "bimbo video" beat for cheesiness.  It's from an envirowhacko group in Brasil called Observatorio Do Clima.  As you watch this, bear in mind that they're serious and obviously think this tripe is the greatest thing since "life's bread".  If they think this waste of bandwidth is going to inspire anything but uproarious laughter, the delusion is worse than I imagined.  Here goes..

David Bowie Needs Prayers For Repose, Not Sentimental Reverie

Most people are aware that David Bowie died today after an 18-month battle with liver cancer.  For several decades he was a rock star of some renown - and notoriety.  I first want to express condolences to his family and friends and offer prayers for the repose of his soul.  What will now follow is not so much directed at his memory as it is directed towards those who are inappropriately lionizing him.  Even that must be narrowed down a bit, for while we might expect such adulation to come from those who are caught up on rock culture - with its attendant depravity - I'm aghast to see it coming from those who are otherwise faithful Catholics.

Change-Agent Of Evil

My facebook wall was awash with posts mourning his passing.  Some said that his music "was part of their youth".  Yes, some offered an "RIP" or some prayers, but I only saw one post questioning the adulation being heaped upon Bowie.  Some - even priests - praised his talent and quoted his songs.  Others remarked that he was a "pioneer".  That he was.  He was one of the first to glamorize the "androgynous look", bordering on cross-dressing.  He admitted he was bisexual.  Some of his performances included the simulation of sexual acts.  My fellow Catholics (you know who you are!), how does this escape you?

It does seem at times that while faithful Catholics can be very sober and vigilant, there is often a strange "disconnect" when it comes to figures in sports and/or entertainment.  Why is that?  Is it because they want the emotions caused by these "stars" so much that they'll allow the "stars" a "pass" when it comes to their immoral lives and proclivities?  What is it?  I don't get how good people can be so inconsistent as to turn a blind eye towards entertainment idols when they would never do so for other "ordinary" people.

Even the Vatican got swept up in the worldly group-think.  Cardinal Ravasi, head of the Pontifical Council for Culture, put out a tweet lauding Bowie and quoting from one of his songs.  I would say that I'm surprised but I'm not.  Given that this is the same office that spewed forth the "bimbo video" and its "bsdm display", we can say that Ravasi is simply being typical.  Still, it's a disgrace to see a Prince of the Church lolly-gagging with silliness while so many truly pressing issues need to be addressed by the Church.  One could have hoped that the Cardinal might have offered prayers for the repose of Bowie's soul; alas, that did not happen.

I asked questions in the preceding paragraphs, for which I cannot fathom answers.  Does anyone know?  The com-box is open (subject to moderation, of course).

50 Shades Of Gray Rules At Vatican Culture Institute

From the same Vatican office that plopped on us all the bimbo video comes their latest pornographic trash.

I made this large so that all can see how this office has arrogantly dismissed the complaints of good Catholics.  Now think of it!  This office is called the Pontifical Council for Culture.  Wouldn't you think that such an office in the Church would be promoting uplifting religious art and music that were inspired by Catholic teaching, the lives of Jesus, Mary and other saints? Instead, we see nonsense that looks like it might have come from "50 Shades of Gray" or someone's BDSM nightmare.

Along with Cardinal Baldiserri and Father Rosica, it seems that Cardinal Ravasi needs to be given the boot.  If he thinks this display is appropriate for Church use, he has very serious issues that speak of mental illness.

Obama's Voting Bimbo - Parodied

This one exposes the Lena Dunham tripe for what it really is - a misogynistic diatribe, with Duham herself playing the quintessential "useful idiot".  Therefore, if any were so gullible to take Dunham at her word, think about this one before voting November 6th.  Click here if you can't see embedded video.

Meet "Mister Uterus" !

A pro-life group, while touring and displaying the truth of abortion on college campuses, met a young man at Florida State University who dubbed himself "Mr Uterus".  He proclaimed "no uterus, no opinion".  He then promptly fell all over himself as he tried to justify his own voicing of his opinion.  Watch the amusing spectacle here if you can't see embedded video.



With all due respect to Mr Uterus, he is not alone in his acts of buffoonery.  As we have offered Christian witness at the Silver Spring Planned Parenthood, we have met several young men who were determined to make fools of themselves; I've posted these episodes in the past.  In this one, you'll become acquainted with Bob the Fetus "god".  Then we had a fellow whom I'll call "Bimbo Boy"; you'll see why.  I know these fellows think they're making bold statements, but all they're really doing is making colossal fools of themselves.  But that's to be expected when one is so foolish as to support a lie.
