When Jesuits Confer, Heresy Can Result

During World Youth Day last month in Krakow, the pope conferred with 28 Polish Jesuit priests.  He had some things to say about properly forming priests - or deforming them.  Among other things, he said:

• "Some priestly formation programs run the risk of educating in the light of overly clear and distinct ideas, and therefore to act within limits and criteria that are rigidly defined a priori, and that set aside concrete situations,"  Overly clear??  I must admit this is the first time I ever heard that phrase!  Now the phrase, "overly ambiguous" makes perfect sense - but "overly clear"?  Are we hearing some kind of Freudian slip here?  What does he think of the Ten Commandments?  "Thou shalt not commit adultery" seems to be quite clear to me and most certainly does define set limits and criteria.  Do these Jesuits think the Ten Commandments should be rendered the Ten Guidelines?  As far as these "concrete situations" that don't fall within the "limits and criteria"?  There's a word for them, as old as revelation itself - sin.
• "Many people leave the confessional disappointed. Not because the priest is bad, but because the priest doesn't have the ability to discern situations, to accompany them in authentic discernment."  Let me take a stab at translating this glop.  "Ability to discern situations" means the knack for engaging in "situation ethics" and/or Amoralis Lamentia mental gymnastics to justify heinous sins while deluding the poor soul into thinking that he/she is acting virtuously while in reality they are damning their immortal souls.  However, in the case of a priest who actually understands that he is "alter Christus" and who actually cares for immortal souls enough to rebuke the sinner, well, the sinner who is unrepentant can be "disappointed" that his/her sin isn't being condoned.
• And we continue.. "In life not all is black on white or white on black. The shades of grey prevail in life."  How many "shades of grey" are there?  Dare I guess "fifty"?  And why, oh why, do they prevail?  How about God's clear, unambiguous commands "prevailing", at least within His Church?

In another account of the meeting, we see other quotes from the pope.  For instance, he said, "Young people speak directly.  They want the truth or at least a straight response."   But as we saw in the preceding quotes, he wants priests to be trained to offer them anything but direct truth - or maybe offer them progressive flim-flam while calling it truth.  Talk about wolves dressed as shepherds.

All this is merely one of the logical outcomes of Amoralis Lamentia.  In addition to prayer, expect more of this and be prepared to refute it.

Abominations On Two Jesuit College Campuses

First let's look at the one at Santa Clara University in California.  It's a drag show - on the campus of a supposedly Catholic institution of higher learning.  I warn you, it is vulgar; you will have difficulty believing that this isn't occurring in a bar in the seamy side of town.  It's so vulgar that I'm not going to embed the video; rather, I'll link to the youtube page.  The individual seems to be a concerned Catholic who wants this mess exposed; his youtube id is Tony1584.  After you watch the debauchery, I'd suggest looking over to the right of that screen and watch his analysis of the thing; it's in three parts.  I think he does a reasonably good job in giving some background, especially into the rather odd priests who seem to have paved the way for that orgy to occur.  Alert your friends on the west coast about this travesty; they should be leading a protest of this.

Scandal at Manhattan Parish in Archdiocese of New York

This involves a Jesuit-run parish, St Francis Xavier.  It's no surprise to me that it's Jesuit-run, for reasons that Voris mentions.  I need not "reinvent the wheel" here.  Rather, I urge you to watch the Vortex video and the others pertinent to the situation.  (Click here if you can't see embedded videos)

Jesuit-Run Churches in Washington Spew Forth Abuses

On January 18, 2009, then VP-elect Joe Biden received a standing ovation during Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, not far from Georgetown University.  Not only did this nonsense happen during Mass, but apparently it happened minutes after he received Holy Communion!  Words almost fail me!  During Mass, Our Lord should be the One receiving honor and praise - the only One.  Well, not only was He insulted in attention being diverted to someone else, but that "someone else" was being applauded just after he received Our Lord in a sacriligeous manner.

Well, it seems that the Jesuits are continuing to profane the Mass.  The latest (of which I'm aware) happened this past Sunday at St Aloysius Gonzaga on North Capitol Street.  I am told by an eye-witness that at the 9:30am Mass, that the congregation called out the "Prayers of the Faithful" just before the Offertory.  That's bad enough in and of itself, but when the prayers expressed political and even dissident proclivities (such as ending the "archdiocese's prejudices against gays"), things clearly went over the top.  "Father Glen" said that Mass. 

Then, as the Canon was about to begin, Father "invited" the congregation to join him around the altar.  This is liturgical abuse - pure and simple.  The laity (unless they're designated ministers) do not enter the sanctuary.  The Canon of the Mass is a most solemn occasion, when Christ Himself is called down upon the altar by the priest during the Consecration.  It it not to be treated as a huggy-kissy kumbaya-fest.

This sort of stunt is not new, though.  About 20 years ago, I worked close to St Rose of Lima in Gaithersburg.  I attended their noon Masses during the day when I could.  At that time, they were plagued with some left-wing priests - including the pastor at the time.  The pastor was fond of calling the laity to join him around the altar.  I and another brave soul stayed in our places and (gasp!) kneeled.  Well, one day the pastor just decided he had enough of our lack of compliance with his disobedience.  He took the opportunity - during Mass, just before the Canon - to mock us.  We both stood our ground - by remaining kneeling.  Don't you love it?  Those who pride themselves on not conforming with the Magisterium are the first to have hissy-fits when others don't jump at their strange beck and call.  That's because we were pricking his conscience.

Those of you who are so plagued with these priests and their similarly ditzy-minded fan clubs, be bold and speak out.
