Marylanders! Two Terrible Bills Are Being Pushed Through The MD Legislature! Your Voice Needed Monday March 30

Two horrible bills are making their way through the Annapolis state legislature.  They both require IMMEDIATE ATTENTION NOW!

The first is HB 1131.  This bill, in effect, would legalize infanticide: that is, out-of-birth-canal baby-killing.  Medical professionals who report such deaths would be penalized.  As of today, it has been referred to the Judiciary Committee.

The second is HB 0649.  From the bill synopsis on the MD General Assembly site, we read "Authorizing the Commission on Civil Rights to enforce a prohibition against discrimination and retaliation in educational institutions based on race, color, national origin, ethnicity, ancestry, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, or marital status; establishing the powers, duties, and limitations of the authority of the Commission on Civil Rights to enforce the prohibition against educational discrimination; establishing a private right of action"

Right there, we see that private faith-based schools could be forbidden to operate in conformity with their religious beliefs.  In short, they would have to disobey God to conform to all sorts of "sexual orientations" and/or "gender identities".  Among other things, teachers and officials could face pressure to utilize make-believe "pronouns" under threat of legal action or even school shut-down.

The goal of both these bills are to advance anti-God and anti-life agendas while actively stifling those who would stand against them to honor God.

Testimony from any Maryland citizens regarding HB 0649 be accepted Monday 3/30 - that is, TOMORROW.  Please go to https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/MyMGATracking/WitnessSignup.  If you don't already have a profile established, please do so now.  It's actually quite easy.  Make it a point to do so.  Your voice actually does matter - especially in an election year.  I will have more to say on the upcoming MD elections in a future post.

MD's Right To Reproductive Freedom - Trojan Horse For Forced Abortions

As most Marylanders know, we have on our state ballot this November a measure that, if passed, will make abortion and other aberrations a right enshrined in our state constitution.  HealthNotHarmMD.org has been organized and is doing much work to combat this mess.  I urge you to visit it for hints for your own activism and to obtain helpful literature to educate your neighbors, fellow church attendees, etc.

Among other things on the site is the complete text of the amendment.  Please refer to it as you read the rest of this post.  What I will now reproduce here is the official language to Question 1 of the ballot section.

Question 1  – Constitutional Amendment Declaration of Rights – Right to Reproductive Freedom

“The proposed amendment confirms an individual’s fundamental right to reproductive freedom, including but not limited to the ability to make and effectuate decisions to prevent, continue, or end the individual’s pregnancy, and provides the State may not, directly or indirectly, deny, burden, or abridge the right unless justified by a compelling State interest achieved by the least restrictive means.”

It states that the individual has the "right" to make decisions, and that the state cannot interfere unless there is a "compelling" reason to do so.  To the pro-choice person, that seems plain enough, right?  Read carefully.  One of those rights is the right to continue the pregnancy, and that the state, if they deemed themselves to have a "compelling interest", could "deny, burden or abridge the right".  In other words, the state could potentially deny the continuance of the pregnancy, denying the woman's right to do so.  In plain English, this amendment would give the State of Maryland the legal ability to force abortions.

So much for "her body her choice".  The pro-aborts don't believe that rhetoric.  They never did.  I recall one Saturday morning when I was sidewalk counseling in front of a Planned Parenthood mill in Silver Spring.  A young girl, in tears, was being dragged into the mill by her parents.  I called out to her saying that we had help, but the parents were dead-set on murdering their grandchild.  One of the deathscorts said to me that she was "getting good reproductive health care".  I tore into that woman, rebuking her for her obvious hypocrisy and lack of concern for that girl's rights, rightly stating that she was only interested in procuring death for babies.  She didn't answer.  She had no decent answer and she knew it.

Given the language of the amendment itself, it could also pave the way for forced "transitioning" for those who consider themselves "transgender".  This is happening in various areas of the country.  We are regularly hearing of struggles between divorced parents, with one wanting to transition the child while the other parent struggles valiantly against the forced permanent sterilization of the child.

If this measure passes, we may well see more of that in Maryland, as the gestapo-state will now be empowered to seize women and whisk them away to mills, or to take children from their parents and subject them to brutal "transitioning".  This has been going on in Red China for decades now.  As we become more and more estranged from God, who is to say it cannot happen here?  It already is, or at least the groundwork for such scenarios is being laid.  We must stop it.

We must start in our own back yards.  Pray your Rosaries every day, including favorable election outcomes with your Rosary intentions.  Join with HealthNotHarmMD.org in the fight against this proposed amendment.  Vote No on Question 1 this November.

The Den Of Iniquity Known As The State Of Maryland

Three recent happenings served to remind me that my home state is quickly swirling down the sinkhole of immorality into decadence and insanity.

First came the news that last Saturday June 1, two dead babies were found on a Metro Transit Authority bus in Baltimore.  This news account calls them fetuses and officials are saying that they were stillborn.  The usage of the term "fetus" suggests that the babies were below the normal age of birth.  Now how, oh how, did these babies get onto the bus?  Presumably no woman went into labor, for surely someone would have noticed that.  Did someone do one of those telemed abortions and then just think that a bus would be a convenient dumping ground for their poor dead babies?  So far, the pro-abortion city officials are keeping mum about their findings.  This is not the first time that some poor child was just dumped as so much refuse.  As these pill-induced abortions increase, so will these incidents increase.

Then the Miss Maryland Beauty Pageant happened this week.  The winner is Bailey Ann Kennedy, a so-called "transgender woman".  That's right, the winner of that dubious crown is a guy.  The authorities should be utterly ashamed of themselves for letting an obviously confused guy even enter, let alone win.  More disgraceful is the slobbering and adulation that he (yes, he, not she) is receiving.  He'll go on to compete in the Miss America Pageant.  Wanna bet that the politically correct lemmings will let him win it?

Speaking of all manners of sexual perversions, we all know that June is "pride month".  Some locales will even have "pride parades", with parade participants appearing in all manners of garish dress or various degrees of nudity.  The garish dress is preferable for at least they aren't exposing themselves, but I digress.

I live in Montgomery County.  As most people know, we got hit with some tornadoes two days ago.  One touched down less than five miles to me.  No one was killed, but much havoc was wreaked.  Today our County Executive, Marc Elrich, a hardcore progressive, put out his weekly update.  In talking about the tornadoes, he blamed them on.. you guessed it!  CLIMATE CHANGE!  What else?

In that same update, he waxed lyrical about pride month.  He related, with stinking pride, how he raised the "pride flag" in Silver Spring, then went on to list other pride-related debaucheries planned in various locales in the County.

That brings me to this rather common-sense observation.  To the progressive trolls who are reading this blog (I know you're out there), would you please suggest to Marc the Dear Leader that maybe, just maybe, the tornadoes might be a shot across the bow from our much-offended God who will not tolerate the baby-slaughter and disobedience to His commands much longer?

Maryland Assisted Suicide Measures Halted - For Now

From the Maryland Catholic Conference:

Today, Maryland Senate leadership announced the votes aren't there to pass a bill legalizing physician assisted suicide in our state.

In a press conference, Senate President Bill Ferguson said, “We are not going to be taking a vote on the bill this year. It does not appear that we have the votes to pass it in the Senate and so we will not be moving forward.”

The vote was close – one to two votes short on the 11-member Judicial Proceedings Committee that was considering the bill. House leadership already said they would not move ahead unless the Senate did.

Your emails, calls and prayers made the difference.

Senator Will Smith, chair of the committee, said, “I think that as folks got closer to the vote and had more in-depth discussions with their constituents, folks just expressed unreadiness to move on it….[Y]ou have to respect the decisions of the individual senators who are listening to their constituents and listening to their conscience on this issue.”

What does this mean going forward?

While this is great news, he and Senator Ferguson made it clear they expect the bill to come back in the future. And, it’s important we not only prepare for next year, but stay vigilant this year. The session isn’t over until April 8.

There are two key takeaways here.

  1. The phone calls, emails, lobbying efforts of each and every citizen counts.  It certainly did in this case, as the vote was quite close in the Judicial Proceedings Committee.  When we first heard of this, I posted about a great lobbying tool.  I link now to it for your future use.  That brings me to the second takeaway.
  2. We must always be vigilant regarding our legislators and be ready to act, no matter what else may be going on in life.  The anti-life cartel is quite disciplined in that regard, ready to drop everything else and engage in lobbying.  We must do no less.
Maryland session ends next month.  As other matters come up, I will post them.

Exploring Maryland's Catholic Roots

At a gala for Collegium Sanctorum Angelorum in Arlington last September, Tim Flanders of One Peter Five gave the main address.  He gave a very interesting summary of the history of Catholicism in Maryland.  It is in Maryland where Catholicism first took root, championed by the Calvert and the Carroll families.  The Collegium posted the address on youtube and it is now posted below.

Maryland VS Idaho - Depravity VS Decency

Two states stand in stark contrast to each other when it comes to transgender activists preying upon our children.  Both these accounts are from LifeSiteNews.  On one hand, we have Montgomery County Maryland, where I've been living most of my life.  The Montgomery County Public Schools have introduced transgender brainwashing of school-aged children, starting in kindergarten, to the normalization of all manners of sexual perversion.  Moreover, parents cannot opt their children out of it.  Of course that assumes that parents are aware of what their children are enduring, for the schools do not have to inform the parents about anything regarding such matters.  They have their own celebration of "pride month" and have an event called "pronouns day".  Young children are being exposed to nudity, gay "weddings', etc.  More ominously, teachers are hiding from parents any "preferred pronouns" that they might suggest to easily manipulated children and any "transgender status" of the youngsters.  One teacher, calling herself "non-binary genderqueer" (whatever the hell that means) tells her students to use "Mx" rather than "Ms".  Well, maybe if she calls herself "Mixup" that will more aptly describe the state of her sanity.

That's the liberal nuthouse known as Montgomery County Maryland.  Now let's move onto a state where some sanity is to be found, namely Idaho.  Its governor Brad Little signed into law a measure that bans "gender transitions" for minors.  This is simply common sense.  Children can be easily confused and manipulated by unscrupulous individuals who, by their own design, cannot have biological children of their own.  How else are they going to propagate their perversions?  That is why they have their long knives aimed at them.

Another way that Governor Little protected children is by making it illegal for any adult to transport a child for an abortion without her parents' consent.  That would not only stop wayward teachers from subverting parental authority but also remove one gambit that predators could use to remove traces of their sexual predation on young girls.  True, it doesn't stop all abortion, but it's a start.

Elections have consequences.

Maryland Residents! Action Needed Now Against Proposed Constitutional Amendment Promoting Abortion

The heavily Democrat, and thus pro-abortion MD state legislature is at it again, this time with pro-abortion Wes Moore as Governor.  The so-called "Declaration of Rights - Right to Reproductive Freedom" is beginning its march through the legislative process.  It is filed as both HB 705 and SB 798.

Maryland residents, your delegates and senators need to hear from you.  Please go to https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/ to follow the progress of this thing and to contact your representatives.  If you don't have a login, you will be prompted to establish one.  Put one of those two bills in the search box.

Doing so for HB 705 will show that it has been referred to the "Health and Government Operations Committee".  Here we see the membership of that committee.  Their names are hyperlinks that take you to their email addresses.

Doing the same for SB 798, we see that this one is referred to the "Finance Committee".  Here is that committee's membership.

Please email each committee member your opposition to this amendment that would enshrine murder into our state constitution.  The email should be brief and to the point.  Make sure to include your legal street address in MD.  Do the same for your own elected representatives.  The sooner the better.

This coming Tuesday, February 21st at 12:30 PM, there will be a press conference at the House of Delegates Building - 6 Bladen Street, Annapolis.  The gathering will be at the Rowe Boulevard entrance.  Please be there with pro-life signs.

Please save that website url and your login information for any future actions.  It will most likely be needed.

Maryland, Decadent Maryland

Maryland has long been known as a bastion of liberalism, with a goodly number of its citizens swallowing progressive kool-aid and wallowing in mental and spiritual muck.  I live in Maryland and am bemused by all the sheeple who continue to wear the masks, although the mandates have been lifted for some time now.  Many go so far as to wear them when alone in their cars with the windows rolled up.  They have been well-trained - or they are just virtue-signaling.  Who knows?

A priest in Great Mills, MD (St Mary's County) was charged in August for three counts of indecent exposure along an interstate.  He was allegedly flashing several male victims.  He admitted to the incidents and was placed on administrative leave.  There will be a hearing in October.

We are also aware of a late-term abortion mill about to open in Prince George's County.  Frankly, I'm surprised to be hearing of only one since the demise of Roe.  Maryland is so friendly to baby-killers so I'd think many would be flocking here to ply their trades.  Perhaps this PG mill is just the first.

Pro-life people, remember to get out and vote this November.

Elections In Maryland On Tuesday July 19

If the Dobbs decision has any impact on us, it should be to drive home all the more that local elections are just as important (if not more so) than federal elections.  Maryland will hold its primary elections this Tuesday, July 19.  Every local seat, from the governor on down to county governments, is up for grabs.  Of course, on the Federal level, every House seat is up and Chris Van Hollen's US Senate seat is up for grabs.  He's running again, but as St. Peter said when the Eleven were about to select a replacement for Judas, "may another take his office".

I won't address the Democrats too much since they are all rabid pro-aborts who take their marching orders and talking points from "on high" - or "on low", as the case may be.  I also won't try to address all the races on various ballots - just the ones that will be on my ballot.  If you are reading this post, you have the capacity to google your various candidates and do your own due-diligence research.

As governor, Bob Hogan's performance has been a lackluster disappointment.  However, we must remind ourselves of the havoc that would have been wreaked had self-styled socialists taken the State House.  We have the opportunity to change that - and no, not via Kelly Schultz.  I am casting my vote for Dan Cox.  He has stood for us against the vax and mask mandates, for common-sense border control, for our Second Amendment rights, and for the babies.  He is endorsed by Maryland Right to Life PAC.  For US Representative, I am voting for Neil Parrott for the same reasons.  Also endorsed by MD Right to Life PAC is Michael Peroutka.  He and his brother Steve have often taught courses on the United States Constitution and supported pro-life efforts in Maryland.

As far as the Maryland state legislature goes, MD Right to Life endorsed no candidate for districts located in Montgomery County.  I am not surprised.  No GOP candidates appear on the official sample ballot that I received.  I believe the same situation exists for Prince George's County.

For the United States Senate race, there are eight candidates vying for the chance to be the GOP nominee for that office.  MD Right to Life PAC states that a number of them espouse pro-life positions.   That is true.  Thus, to make a selection, one must look at candidate positions on other issues.  That should be possible to do by googling their names.

I am in Montgomery County and can tell you that Mark Elrich simply must be ousted as County Executive.  Via his diktats, Montgomery exercised the most draconian rule over its citizenry by ridiculous mask mandates that went well over the national and state bounds.  He pulled police officers from troubled county schools and put in "social workers".   When the Dobbs draft opinion was leaked, he promised to divert our tax dollars, $1 million to be precise, towards abortion funding.

I will be voting for Reardon Sullivan as the GOP nominee for County Executive.  In all other county slots, the candidates are unopposed.

The Montgomery County Education Association is a branch of the progressive National Education Association.  If you want hints for whom to vote, download their "apple ballot".  Then compare that ballot to your official sample ballot and make sure you vote for the "apple ballot" opponentsThis one now shows the Board of Education candidates for whom you should not vote - rather, vote their opponents.  This is necessary to keep out "critical race theory", gay-indoctrination, etc.

See you at the polls!

Maryland Right To Life PAC Announces Endorsements

If the rampant corruption in Washington DC should have taught us anything, I should have taught us that no longer can we discount the importance of local-level elections.  Many of those are occurring this autumn.

In Maryland, all statewide and at least most county-wide seats are open for election, from the governor down to the city council people.  Of course all seats of Congress are being voted upon, and Chris Van Hollen is up for re-election, or hopefully a defeat this November.  Moreover, all seats in the various boards of education are to be decided as well.

Maryland Right to Life PAC has just released its list of endorsements and I link to it now.  At this time I concur with its list and had already planned on voting for its endorsed candidates.  I now link to all the candidates as listed on the Maryland Board of Elections site.  I had noticed that MRTL did not endorse a candidate for US Senator; judging from a first glance at their individual websites, I can see that none of them are any too impressive.  Still, Van Hollen must be unseated.

As far as the Board of Education goes, here is my strategy.  Every time, some helpful person will, as I approach the polling place, present to me an "apple ballot".  These are candidates that have been endorsed by the local chapter of the National Education Association - an unabashedly progressive cabal if ever there was one.  Therefore, I study it and make sure that I vote for all their opponents.

In south Texas, a conservative Republican lady won an upset victory in a district that had not elected a Republican in decades.  There is hope.  Of course, we must pray that God brings this country to repentance and to its senses and healing.

Maryland Citizens - Join The Effort To Petition HB 937 To The Ballot

I received this email below from Defend Life regarding a critical petition drive to get an extreme abortion bill to Maryland's ballot this election cycle.  I needn't rehash it; it is below.  Maryland citizens, please get to your churches and elsewhere and spread the word.

I NEED your help.  Start TODAY to get the 25.000 signatures we need by May 31 and the additional 50.000 we need by June 30 to get on the November ballot to overturn this EVIL law. (Then continue next Sunday and on subsequent Sundays at your church!)

Print out plenty of petitions, bring pens and clipboards. Remember that each petition can only take 5 signatures, so if you think you can get 200 names, you need to print at least 40 petition forms.

All the details and requirement are printed and linked BELOW. If you still have questions, contact my great PRO-LIFE friend Rob Bart at 410-963-2001.

Please FWD this to every PRO-LIFE friend you have in Maryland.

Linked below are the documents you need to start your petition drive to defeat HB937, The Abortion Care Access Act.

The Petition document contains the petition with an instruction page for obtaining signatures as successfully as possible. The petition MUST be printed out so that the signature page is on one side of the page and the text of the law is on the other side. Read the instruction page very carefully and make sure your volunteers understand them, too. Use separate pages for signers from different counties.

This is the Voter Look-Up website: https://voterservices.elections.maryland.gov/VoterSearch  Use this site (QR code on the Instructions) to make sure the name on the petition is the same as your Voter Registration Record.

Please give this effort your best efforts. As you know, we have a tight deadline with a mountain to climb. We need a minimum of 25,000 signatures from across the state by midnight on May 31 and another 50,000 signatures by midnight on June 30 to get this on the November ballot.

The full text of the law is linked here and below. Have a few copies available so that the signers can read the full text of the law if they choose to do so.  We are opposing 2 parts of the law - the removal of the physician requirement and the requirement for insurance providers to cover abortion without copays or deductibles. Maryland law prohibits opposing laws or parts of laws that are considered part of the state operating budget, so we are not opposing the Medicaid funding or the training program funding

The flyer linked here and below may be printed out and copied to distribute and to post on your bulletin or message boards.

The campaigntoprotectwomen.org website will go live on Tuesday, May 10. There is a QR code for the website, but the website is not live yet. Linked here and below is the flyer with the QR code for the website.

Please share the links and this email with family and friends. Review each petition thoroughly to make sure all spaces are completed before you sign as Circulator, then mail them back, address on the Instructions.

Any questions, please email me at dbmdreferendum2022@gmail.com or call at 443-963-2001.

Maryland House Bill 1171 Just Passed The House Today

Last month I sounded an alert regarding Maryland House Bill 1171, a proposed amendment to the State Constitution to enshrine abortion as a "right".  Today it passed the House and now moves to the State Senate.  I understand that because it is framed as a constitutional amendment, that it will bypass Governor Hogan altogether if passed and will be placed on the ballot for popular vote.

Please work and pray that this bill dies in the Senate.  If it passes, we will have quite a battle on our hands to get Maryland voters to reject the amendment.  We, as a state, stand to have more blood on our hands and will probably see an influx of abortionists to set up their murdering establishments.

By the way, SB 669, the legalization of post-birth infanticide, is also in the works.  We'll watch that too.

A Push To Legalize Post-Birth Infanticide In Maryland?

Thanks to Canon 212, I stumbled upon this alert.  It links to the actual text of the bill, which does indeed contain the deadly language.  This is in addition to some Maryland representatives' attempt to introduce an amendment to Maryland's constitution to enshrine a "right" to slaughter one's own children.  Now they have set their sights on already-born infants.

Let me say a word about the title of this blog post.  I included the words "post birth" because in fact all abortion is infanticide.  It makes no difference whatsoever if the infant is inside or outside his/her mother's womb.  Yes, I said the word mother.  Among the more ridiculous aspects of SB 669 is the attempt to be "woke" about gender-specific language.  Thus "mother" is replaced by "pregnant person" and all feminine pronouns are likewise jettisoned.  Silly as that is, it is trivial compared to the danger that it poses to every baby in Maryland, born or unborn.

Both these bills must be combatted at the legislative level.  Frankly, I don't trust Hogan to veto these.  I'd be delighted to be proven wrong on that, but let's work to keep these things from reaching his desk.

Operation Gridlock MD - A First Hand View

In Friday's post I mentioned that I would be joining a protest of Governor Hogan's unconstitutional power grab with other MD citizens.  That I did and post my own video compilation below.  These are various snippets merged together so that is why you'll notice jumping from one scene to another.  This was a "drive-thru" protest, so all maintained "social distancing".  The State House was cordoned off so we didn't drive right by him.  However, the rather high buildings with streets emanating from the State House made for a nice echo chamber.  There was no escaping our horn blasts.  I understand similar protests will occur in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and other places during this next week.

Will we have to engage in further protest and actions?  Well, that's largely up to Hogan.

Too Good To Be True

My post from Tuesday, regarding the closing of Maryland abortuaries, was based on information that has now been shown to be faulty.  Of course we expected more violations than compliance, but I was rejoicing that Maryland might have banned abortions officially.   Such is not to be.  Maryland can shutter churches, close legitimate businesses, but still let the blood of innocent children flow.  It is for sins such as this that our world is undergoing the punishment from God that is now our common experience.

Several other states, though, have banned abortions as "non-essential procedures".  I hope more states are added to that list before this cornona curse is lifted.

Progressives Believe That Billionaires And Babies Should Not Exist

As most of you know, I live in the liberal loony bin known as Montgomery County, MD.  It is quite common around here to see cars with bumper strips that tout allegiance to some progressive demigogue-wannabe, such as Bernie Sanders.  That is what you see to the left.  But notice that there are two strips.  I couldn't read the lower left of the one on the right side of the car, but I believe that originated from the Sanders campaign as well as the other.  You can click on it and it should open in a new window.  Then you can expand the picture.  It says "Billionaires should not exist".  Can't you just feel the loovvvee?  The "tolerance"??  Can Sanders be a tad envious of billionaires?  After all, he himself is only worth a paltry two million dollars.  I don't know about you, but I think I could struggle by on a mere $2M, but I digress.  I was going to ask why didn't he say "millionaires should not exist" but I suppose I answered my own question.

What do they propose to do with any hapless billionaire that should cross their paths?  Rob him/her of his/her wealth on the spot?  Or perhaps they have some sort of Hitler-esque "final solution" in mind for these souls who dare to be wealthier than Sanders himself?

One class of individuals whom Sanders and indeed the whole gamut of Democratic presidential candidates would consign to the final solution is unborn children.  Maryland, being cursed with progressives in Annapolis and weak or even complicit bishops in chanceries, is a mecca for child killers.  Not only is Leroy Carhart permitted to continue his slaughter business in Bethesda, but apparently unlicensed abortionists are allowed to slaughter babies while civil officials look the other way.

We had long been aware that Delhi Thweatt was a threat to women as well as their children.  Operation Rescue has recently learned that his licence expired over three months ago, yet he still does his butchery at the mill in Hagerstown MD.  On the OR sight is a video of a city council meeting where Christians try to point out this mess and ask for correction.  Somehow I had hoped that Washington County had more sense of decency and responsibility than Montgomery County, but alas, I appear to be mistaken.

We have our work cut out for us.  We must continue to pray the Rosary, as Our Lady requested.  We must also work to take back our culture from the dung heap.

Sign Petition To Stop Assisted Suicide In Maryland

Two weeks ago I blogged about the assisted suicide measure that was before the Maryland House of Delegates.  Since then it has passed by a 74-36 vote.  It is now before the Senate.  We Marylanders must lobby our state senators to oppose it.  Should it pass, we must again lobby Governor Hogan to veto it.

For the rest of the country, please sign the petition started by LifeSiteNews to combat this measure.

Please pass this on to your other social pages and contacts.  Thanks.

Physician-Assisted Suicide In Maryland

If ever there was a ridiculous euphamism, "physcian-assisted suicide" would be one of them, ranking up there with "abortion".  Both were concocted to mask the real meaning of their deeds, which is murder.  The former targets the elderly and the infirm.  It is that which is the focus of this post for its legalization is wiggling its way through the largely pro-death Maryland legislature.

HB 0399, known as the "End of Life Option Act", was in committee and I believe has been voted out of it onto the floor.  Maryland Right to Life has information about this and SB0311, the Senate cross-filing.  I do not know its status in the Senate.  It was being heard in the Judicial Proceedings Committee, but cannot find whether or not they voted on it.  Please contact the members of that committee, particularly if one of those senators is from your locality, and ask them not to send it to the senate floor.

Please contact your delegates and tell them that you want them to oppose these bills.  Spread the word and let's do all we can to keep Maryland from incurring more blood-guilt before Our Lord.

Maryland Primary Elections Freak Shows - Parental Advisory

IMPORTANT UPDATE - It dawned on me after posting this piece, that a Parental Advisory is in order, due to Madaleno's flaunting of his perversion.  While the spectacle is more juvenile than anything else, parents may wish to review this before deciding whether or not it's appropriate for their children.  Think of it - a political ad that flaunts the mortal sin of sodomy!  That itself is reason enough to vote for Hogan, should Maryland's Democrats be so dense as to nominate Madaleno for governor.  Besides, wouldn't we want a governor whose main concern is the welfare of Maryland, as opposed to "p***ng Trump off" and other such childish taunts and temper tantrums?

Chelsea Manning, formerly known as Bradley Manning, has trouble keeping secrets as we all know.  He has declared his intention to run for US Senate; I posted one of his ads.  Among his many poor choices in life was his selection for campaign director.  Perhaps he or she is merely of the same mind as Manning, for they both thought it the most wonderful campaign move to feature Manning as he hisses and snarls his way through various shots of violence, with cheap horror-show sound effects in the background.

Not to be outdone in sheer stupidity is an ad by Rich Madaleno, currently a Maryland State Senator, now running for governor (one of several Democrat lemmings to do so).   Below is the stinker that he plopped.  Click on the word "youtube" at the bottom to see this on the youtube channel and then read the comments.  Of course this thing went over like a lead balloon.  That these liberals put this trash out in public, thinking that it will shoo them to victory, just shows how deluded they really are.

The primaries are June 26.  How many more of these will emerge to insult our intelligence?

First Manning's, then Madaleno's...
