Maryland, Decadent Maryland

Maryland has long been known as a bastion of liberalism, with a goodly number of its citizens swallowing progressive kool-aid and wallowing in mental and spiritual muck.  I live in Maryland and am bemused by all the sheeple who continue to wear the masks, although the mandates have been lifted for some time now.  Many go so far as to wear them when alone in their cars with the windows rolled up.  They have been well-trained - or they are just virtue-signaling.  Who knows?

A priest in Great Mills, MD (St Mary's County) was charged in August for three counts of indecent exposure along an interstate.  He was allegedly flashing several male victims.  He admitted to the incidents and was placed on administrative leave.  There will be a hearing in October.

We are also aware of a late-term abortion mill about to open in Prince George's County.  Frankly, I'm surprised to be hearing of only one since the demise of Roe.  Maryland is so friendly to baby-killers so I'd think many would be flocking here to ply their trades.  Perhaps this PG mill is just the first.

Pro-life people, remember to get out and vote this November.

Carhart Quits Maryland!

Another reason to be thankful on this Thanksgiving Day.  Who knows why he's leaving Maryland?  Maybe it's the suit about which I wrote yesterday; maybe it's just the straw that broke the camel's back.  Let's pray that he repents before he has to stand before God's judgment throne.

Abortions will still continue up to 19 weeks at Germantown Reproductive Heath Services, and they will continue throughout the state.  Let us continue to pray that all abortions cease.

Carhart Sends Another Woman To MD Hospital - Third This Year!

On Feb 7th and July 9th of this year, Leroy Carhart caused two women to be hospitalized as a result of abortions they received at his Germantown facility; for more details read this link.  The woman from Feb 7th, Jennifer Morbelli, died as a direct result of his abortion procedures.

Because of the death, the State of Maryland Office of Health Care Quality conducted an "investigation" of Carhart's practice - or at least went through the motions of doing so.  In May they cleared the Carhart practice.  I learned of this in the Gazette and wrote an open letter to them.  Among other things I pointed out that Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Secretary, Dr Joshua Sharfstein was quoted as saying that "no deficiencies were found" at the Germantown mill - despite reports that are found on the DHMH site (Note: if they're gone, I took the precaution of downloading them, so just advise if they've, uh, "disappeared").  Oh, by the way!  At their October 2013 "evening of chocolate" gala, Maryland NARAL gave one of their "Leadership Awards" to - (Bet you can't guess! - Aw, you peeked!) - Dr. Joshua Sharfstein!  Go to this Defend Life newsletter and scroll to page 12.  Lots of the folks at this event (that we picketed) just gushed with praise for Sharfstein.  And Family Research Council points out that Sharfstein racked up quite a pro-abortion resume.  Way back in April, Jill Stanek noticed Sharfstein's cozy relationships with abortionists.   If you want to see more, just google "Sharfstein NARAL" and you'll see an eyeful.

Boys and girls, given the above, can we all say "fox watching hen-house"?  His May report can be summed up in these words: "Nothing to see here, folks!  Move along!"  His report, along with his chequered career screams of "conflict of interest".  But perhaps I'm being a tad too harsh.  After all, this was just a few months before the July 9th ambulance pulled up at the front door of the Germantown abortuary.

Yesterday, November 26, 2013, 11:45 am, another ambulance pulled up at the door - the second in four months!  The video is below.  At this time I know no additional details.  Operation Rescue states that the woman was taken to Shady Grove Adventist where she underwent emergency surgery.  No staff accompanied her; in fact, as I watch the clip (below) I see no family nor friend get into the ambulance and it doesn't appear that any car was preparing to follow them.  Recall that Carhart has no admitting privileges at any Maryland hospital.  If Maryland had a law similar to that of Texas, Carhart would have to remove his shingle from Germantown.

As long as Sharfstein and his bosses sit in their governmental perches, Carhart will not be dislodged.  In 2014 we have to change a lot of faces in Annapolis to bring about some real reform so that Maryland ceases being the pro-abortion mecca that it has become in recent years.  Now the video...

Gosnell Will Die Behind Bars

It is announced that Kermit Gosnell avoided the death penalty by waiving his right to appeal his two consecutive life sentences.  There will be no possibility of parole.  These two life sentences are for Baby C and Baby D; he is expected to receive another life sentence for the murder of Baby A.  At the age of 72, he still will have some time to ponder eternity - an eternity that will come soon for him.

Operation Rescue compiled a list of the various crimes for which he was found guilty.  What a guy.  At least he will shed no more innocent blood.  He has enough on his hands.  Let us pray that while he sits behind bars he will come to repentance and conversion before he is arraigned before the Supreme Judge.

Meat In A Crock Pot??

That is how abortionist Leroy Carhart described a baby dying in utero (after the lethal injection) to a Live Action undercover investigator.  During the exchange he lied (of course) about Christin Gilbert and Jennifer Morbelli - two of the (known) women that died at his hand.  I'm presuming that this exchange occurred in Nebraska, as he suggests that the woman go to Maryland where the late-term procedures are legal.

I post the shorter video below.  The unedited one can be found here in two parts.  Leroy Carhart is being investigated in Maryland.  To be frank, it's rather apparent that the state of Maryland government, run by abortophiles, is dawdling and dragging its feet.  We need to keep them accountable and hold their feet to the fire.

Flushing Babies Down The Sewer

For this abortuary worker at a New York City abortuary, that is a perfectly acceptable method of disposing of murdered babies who emerge at their mothers' homes.  You'll hear this worker casually give to Lila Rose this sage advise; her nonchalance can only stem from ignorance and/or callousness.

Before I post the video, I suggest you pay special attention at the 5:23 mark, where they discuss when it might be appropriate to call a hospital.  The worker states in no uncertain terms that she is NOT supposed to  do that.  Sound familiar?  Remember Jennifer Morbelli's death?  Carhart likewise instructed her family not to contact the hospital.  Only when he himself was incommunicado did the family finally contact Shady Grove Hospital; by that time it was too late.  Also, notice the first woman started at the age of 16 (or so she says).  Did the mill have her doing any unauthorized procedures as did Gosnell?

Prayer Event At Carhart Killing Center In Germantown

Leroy Carhart has been murdering babies in Germantown MD for two years now.  Concurrently there has been a pro-life presence there that has kept at least 70 babies out of his clutches.  Monday Dec 10 marks that second anniversary.  Come and pray.

Maryland Late-Term Abortionist's License Is Suspended

Harold Alexander, partner to late-term abortionist James Pendergraft IV, had his license suspended by the Maryland Board of Physicians.  His method of murdering babies involved injecting a needle into the heart of the baby (and of course through the mother's belly) to stop the heart of the child.  After this step, the mother would be sent elsewhere to deliver her dead child.  The murder site is called "Integrated OB/GYN Services" and operated out of Forestville, MD (Prince George's County).

Look at the photo of Alexander on the LifeSite News site.  Doesn't it look like a mug shot?  I think that's very appropriate.  Here are more details from Operation Rescue.  It is their 7-month investigation that helped  bring this suspension about.  For that they deserve much credit.  On their site is video.  If you can't see their embedded video, go here.  In the latter part, you'll hear Pendergraft tell them that before any other information is released (like location, doctor's name, etc), that they must wire $6k in cash to him but that's ok, 'cause golly gee - they get a receipt!  While there's just a tinge of sarcasm in my statement, most women going to have their babies killed have no idea who they've hired to invade their bodies and slaughter their children!

Obviously the video was created before Alexander's suspension, but it gives you an idea of the low-life that abortionists have allowed themselves to become.

1,000 For Life

December 5, 2011 marks the first anniversary of Leroy Carhart's arrival at the Germantown Reproductive Health Services in Germantown, MD.  He specializes in late-term abortions and has to date murdered over 700 babies in Germantown.

Local pro-life groups are gathering at the corner of Wisteria and Executive Park Circle on Monday December 5th from 8am-10am in a special prayer vigil to commemorate the tragic and brutal murders of these children and to pray for the repentance of Carhart and his staff.  Please come; we'd like to see 1,000 pro-lifers come together in prayer and witness at this place of death.

Father Guarnizo At Germantown Rally

This session of 40 Days for Life will conclude a week from tomorrow.  At the beginning of this session several weeks ago, in Germantown MD, Father Marcel Guarnizo of St John Neumann Church in Gaithersburg delivered an address at the Kick-Off Rally.  He addressed the obligation (not option but obligation) for all Christians to combat the evil of abortion.  It is important to note that this particular 40 Days location is at the Germantown location of Leroy Carhart, and the church where Fr Guarnizo delivered this address is literally around the corner from the mill.   Watch Father's address below.  Click here if you cannot see embedded video.

Summer Of Mercy 2.0 Is Underway

An ecumenical prayer effort of nine days (a novena for us Catholics) started last evening at a rally at Covenent Life Church on Muncaster Mill Road.  This evening a Rosary procession occurred, from Mother Seton down to the development where Leroy Carhart commits his crimes against humanity.  I took some camcorder clips and hope to have them online tomorrow evening.

Report Of Yesterday's Witness For Life In Germantown

As previously announced, the Archdioceses of Baltimore and Washington spearheaded a prayer vigil at Germantown Reproductive Health Services yesterday morning.  It started off with 8:00am Mass (which pretty much filled the church to capacity) at Mother Seton church, which is literally around the corner from the death mill.  Then participants walked from the church to the area where Monday's rally was conducted, in prayer.  They returned to the church.  Here is the account of The Washington Post.

Cheery little dump, isn't it?  To anyone of the management of the Executive Park center in Germantown, if this man continues in your office complex, you risk having your place look like this rat-hole, too.  If you think your real property values are bad, just watch them plummet when word gets out about the lowlife inhabiting your area.

Late-Term Abortionist LeRoy Carhart To Kill Babies In Germantown MD

Numerous sources, including this Baltimore Sun article, confirm that LeRoy Carhart, notorious late-term abortionist, will join Germantown Reproductive Health Services Inc at 13233 Executive Park Terrace (off Wisteria Drive).  He is scheduled to begin December 6th.

Now why is he coming here all the way from Nebraska?  Because Nebraska has a new law that forbids abortions after 20 weeks.  Maryland, on the other hand, is one of the most abortion-friendly states in the nation.  Moreover, Montgomery County is one of the most left-wing areas of Maryland.  A "case-in-point" can be found in its law to basically gag pro-life pregnancy centers in the county.  I blogged extensively on that last December.  Go to those archives and watch some of the clips.  Some of the Council members (George Leventhal in particular) behaved downright arrogantly towards the pro-lifers who testified.

By the way - Carhart is doing late-term abortions, but he has no hospital privileges!  Can we see the increased dangers to women here, not to mention the babies?
