Cardinal Burke States The Obvious: Muslims Do NOT Worship The One True God
The Remnant has commentary on what Cardinal Burke said in a recent teleconference. They point out that what Cardinal Burke flies in the face of some nonsense uttered in various Church documents. Yes, it's nonsense to claim that Muslims worship the God that we worship. Even Muslims will agree on that point, although they hold erroneously that their false idol "allah" is a deity. We thank the One True God that Cardinal Burke had the guts to go against the politically correct nonsense - no, heresy - that claims that "allah" is just another word for God.

USCCB Releases Amnesty Screed After Illegals Brutalize Young Girl
The entire nation has heard what happened a few days ago at Rockville High School, less than a half-hour's drive from my own home. A 14-yr-old girl was brutally raped by two immigrants, with at least one of them here illegally and facing deportation due to another crime. Although the immigrants are 17 and 18 years old, they were allowed to register in that school as freshmen. Of course the lame-stream media did their best to cover up the illegal status of the thugs but thanks to the internet the truth is out. I don't have time in this post to go into details. Suffice it to say that county and school officials are in major cover-up mode since they do hope to have Maryland declared a "sanctuary state". The Superintendent of Schools has gone so far as to accuse concerned parents of being racists and xenophobes. Governor Hogan is demanding answers from Montgomery County - as well he should. We pray for that poor young lady as she recovers from the trauma of her brutal rape. If there is one thin silver lining to this cloud, it may be the awakening of the parents and some citizens; at least one woman is rethinking her former liberalism. Let us remember this in 2018. We must vote out that entire school board, certainly that superintendent and those in Annapolis who are behind this cockamamie "sanctuary state" crap.
Meanwhile, London is reeling from a Muslim terrorist attack at the Westminster Bridge and the grounds of Parliament. Five people are dead. Although the Mayor of London, himself a Muslim, is downplaying the Muslim connection, the Islamic State is claiming responsibility for it. London authorities are investigating other potential terrorist threats. Again we see signs of realization on the parts of some, but will it be too little and too late?
Others, though, continue to dig in their heels regarding the farce known as multiculturalism and unbridled immigration and amnesty for those who break immigration laws (like the two rapists in Rockville). I speak primarily of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Yesterday they released a screed called "Living As A People Of God In Unsettled Times". As you read this gobblygoop, you'll notice the ever-present obfuscation of the real concerns of faithful Catholics. Forgive me for sounding like a broken record, but we simply want our immigration laws to be respected for the sake of all concerned - especially for the sake of those immigrants who are honorable and who enter the country via already-established channels. These good people don't deserve to be vilified as "racists", "xenophobes", or whatever epithets the progressives like to fling about.
The bishops sure like to misquote the Scriptures, don't they? "When an alien resides with you in the land, do not mistreat such a one." Is it "mistreating" the alien to expect him or her to abide by the laws of the land, just as everyone else does? I could go on and on about this and maybe will do so in a future post. I will say two things, though.
First, bear in mind that the impetus behind this guilt-trip attempt may not be entirely altruistic. The USCCB and Catholic Charities have a lot of Federal grant money tied up with the facilitation of mass immigration. I have written much in general about the USCCB's blind following of the progressives in regards to illegal immigration. When it comes to this issue, the US Catholic hierarchy may well be motivated by their financial bottom lines. See this and this
Second, consider that the USCCB spewed forth this vomit right after the events in Rockville and London. These acts of violence were perpetrated by thugs who had no intentions of assimilating in their host cultures. The governments of both Montgomery County and London, being run by progressives, have been way too cavalier in their admittance of harmful immigrants, to the detriment of their citizens. The USCCB is likewise acting irresponsibly - or maybe, in their case, greedily.

Witchcraft, Islam And Humanism - De Facto Creeds Of The New Age
This post regarding these three popular manifestations of idolatry appeared a few days ago and it provides much food for thought. I'd go a bit further than the author does. He merely says that these idols are merely filling in a vacuum being left by a dying and shriveling church. I, however, believe that the church isn't merely making way for these, but actively ushering them to places of prominence. Witness the "poop video" in the post previous to this one.
Another very recent manifestation seems to come from a most surprising source - the canonization of Mother Teresa. There is no doubt that she and her sisters spent their lives in heroic service to many destitute people and not too many of us can forget the truth she spoke to power at the 1994 prayer breakfast. But there were troubling signs of indifferentism throughout her writings, at least in the early days. There is this quote from A Simple Path: "I’ve always said that we should help a Hindu become a better Hindu, a Muslim become a better Muslim, a Catholic become a better Catholic." We know that the only way a Hindu, Muslim or anyone else can become "better" is to embrace the One True Faith, not to become further entrenched in their false religions. The Bellarmine Forum carries an article about the relationship between Mother Teresa and Father John Hardon. While it rightly praises Mother's many virtues, we see starting in the second paragraph testament to her unwillingness to teach the creeds of the Faith, saying "her sisters were there to help the poor". So the imparting of the Faith would not have assisted the poor? But Father was there, at the behest of Pope John Paul II, to equip the sisters to engage in that aspect of charity and I believe that they did. But did Mother ever walk back that statement as quoted from A Simple Path?
It does seem that at least in the first stage of the ministry of the Missionaries of Mercy, Mother Teresa was content to focus on the Corporal Works of Mercy to the exclusion of the Spiritual Works of Mercy. I'll now link to an article by Msgr Charles Pope, written over a year ago, entitled "What Ever Happened To The Spiritual Works Of Mercy?" It is worth careful study, as are the comments below. I truly am glad that Pope John Paul II, through Father Hardon, corrected that short-coming in the Missionaries of Mercy.
Let's move onto Islam. I'll now post an account of an interview granted by Cardinal Burke. In that interview, His Eminence states that the belief that Christians and muslims worship the same god stems from relativism. It might be indifferentism, too, such as the one seen Mother Teresa's quote in A Simple Path. It is quite blasphemous to state that those who behead babies, stone rape victims, engage in terrorist bombings by using their own children, etc, etc, in the name of their god, somehow worship the One, True God. Yet that is what progressive church leaders thrust down our throats, as our post-Christian culture makes ever-increasing concessions to muslims while treating Christians - particularly faithful Catholics - as de facto "niggers of the new age".
Again we see the Church hierarchy welcoming in this heresy, not only in the misguided indifferentism rightly condemned by Cardinal Burke, but also in troubling actions by Pope Francis. Recall his allowance of muslim prayers to the false "allah" idol within the Vatican gardens and his washing of the feet of muslims during Holy Thursday services.
These embraces of both humanism and indifferentism by progressives in the Church not only facilitate cultural suicide, but also facilitate the damnation of immortal souls by holding up to them lies as though they were truths.

Yesterday, Today And Tomorrow
This post's title is that of an article written by Susan Matthiesen, my friend and colleague in the Catholic Media Coalition. She gives an historical perspective on the persecution of Middle East Christians during the past century. The push to allow Syrian refugees, spearheaded by the Messiah Most Miserable, is a continuation of the persecution of these Christians as well as the proverbial embrace of the rattlesnake, as only muslims are allowed in while Christians are deliberately excluded.
Without further ado, the article.
Without further ado, the article.
As Western intelligentsia and media elites continue
to focus upon the fake and inflated refugee crisis among Palestinians, the
world’s real refugee crisis, now described as the worst since World War II, is
that of Syrian Christians and Yazidis persecuted by ISIS and migrating to
Europe by the hundreds of thousands. The cause of this
catastrophe is not difficult to grasp unless we rely on the mainstream media,
not only today, but also yesterday; that is, the yesterday of 100 years ago.
In
the 1930s Hitler took advantage of the silence of the media when planning the extermination
of the Jews. He was not troubled about anger or retaliation because of his
wicked strategies since he was aware of the world’s muteness on the matter of Turkey’s
1915 slaughter and genocide of Armenian Christians. He said, “Who, after all,
speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?” Since no one did, Hitler well
knew he could annihilate the Jews without arousing the world’s wrath.
April
24, 2015, marked the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the 1915 genocide
of the Armenian people by the Turkish government, or more succinctly, the
genocide of Armenian Christians by the jihadist government of the Islamic Young
Turks. Such evil as was done to Armenian Christians at the hands of Islamic
hatred has rarely been seen in the history of mankind, but then, since its
beginning, Islam has been defined by its vicious inhumanity of bestial force against
civilized societies.
The Young Turks promoted the idea of Ottomanization, that is, creating a
homogeneous Turkey of one race, one language, and one religion – Islam. By
1914, with the new slogan, “Turkey for the Turks,” the Young Turks began
ordering the confiscation of Christian property, then the wholesale slaughter
and exile of Turkey’s Christian population began. Between 1915 -1917 mass arrests,
heinous torture and murder of Christians took place all over Macedonia. The
prominent of the towns and villages were first to be arrested and exiled to the
interior, or killed outright.
One
can receive a sound education on the Armenian Genocide by going to YouTube’s
various videos and documentaries on the subject, one of which is 90 minutes
long. Photographs prove the horror of the truth. The cruelty and wickedness
seen in pictures while ignored by the Western media is shocking – Christian clergy,
professors, doctors and lawyers from Istanbul made to march through the streets
with their feet nailed to iron horseshoes, 16 Armenian Christian girls
crucified by the Turks. “Each girl had been nailed alive upon her cross, spikes through her
feet and hands, only their hair blown by the wind, covered their bodies.” They
had refused to convert to Islam, so were raped and crucified. The 1915 photos
of the crucified girls can be seen on Google Images.
Since
the slaughter and annihilation of the Armenians was successful, the Turks next
exterminated Pontic Greek Christians, erasing their long history from the face
of the earth down to dismantling their churches, homes and villages and letting
the Christians’ cultivated land and orchards go to waste. Nothing is left. No
one tells that history better than Thea Halo in her book, Not Even My Name, the amazing story of her mother’s life as a
Pontian Greek whose entire family was killed by the Islamist Turkish
government. Thea’s mother, Sano Halo, born in 1909, recently died in 2014 at
the age of 105. This book is recommended reading for anyone wanting to know the
truth from an actual living witness uprooted from her home, and, as a child,
watching everyone she loved slaughtered or dying of disease from starvation
while being marched to the desert. Of those who made it to the desert, all that
was left were their dried, sun-bleached bones lying in the sand.
Today’s current lack of concern that the
United States government seems to have for persecuted Assyrian Christians in
Iraq and Syria is likewise deplorable. Their 1915 killing by the Turkish
Islamic government is identical to that of the Armenians and Pontian Greeks. Chicago
attorney, Robert W. DeKelaita, tells the story of his grandfather’s escape from
the killing grounds of the Assyrian Genocide. “(My grandfather) had to
carefully step over the dead bodies of his relatives and friends as he made his
escape from the Assyrian village of Mar Bishu in 1915. Turkish and Kurdish
irregulars bombed or pillaged their village nestled in the mountains east of
the Hakkari Mountains, killing everyone because they were Assyrian Christians.”
Along with 1.5 million Armenians and Greeks
of Anatolia, the Ottomans extinguished 750,000 Assyrian lives and one million Greeks,
Albanians, Serbs and Bulgarians. Men, women, and children were shot or hacked
to pieces, their blood soaking the earth of their ancestors. Others were taken
and tortured and murdered because they refused to convert to Islam. Women were
raped to death, children beheaded, men castrated, disemboweled then
slaughtered. Meanwhile
our Muslim-friendly president, Barack Hussein Obama, is persecuting Assyrian
Christian Robert DeKelaita for helping Assyrian Christians trying to escape
evil at the hands of the demonically inspired religion of Islam.
Today a massive sea of humanity flows
into Western Europe; however not all of them are persecuted Christians and
Yazidis. Most are Muslims. In 1683 the Battle of Vienna, instigated by the Turks
for entrance into Europe proper from Asia Minor through the Balkans, marked the
historical end of the expansion of the Ottoman Empire into Europe. The Islamic
army got as far as Vienna where they were stopped by Jan Sobieski (a Pole) and
his small army. Three hundred years later, today’s descendants of those same
Europeans of yesterday are allowing Muslims into Europe thereby negating
everything for which their forefathers died.
Blogger Andrew Biezad (www.onepeterfive.com) says about today’s situation, “While
American and Western European governments are saying this is a ‘refugee crisis’
and the news media, like good propagandists, run images of a few poor women and
children, they neglect to show the rest of the situation. Not displayed is the
mass of overwhelmingly young, healthy, well-dressed males, carrying the latest
smart phones yelling Allahu Akbar. These
men have come to rampage, riot and destroy in the name of Islam. This is not
normal migration, this is an Islamic hijra.
“The
idea of the hijra pertains to the movement
of a group of Muslims from a predominantly Muslim area to a predominately
non-Muslim area with the goal of establishing Islam’s dominance in it. The
first hijra conquered Jerusalem in
638. The second hijra conquered
Constantinople (now Istanbul) in 1453. According to certain voices in the
Islamic world, the third and final hijra will
be Rome and the Catholic Church which is the main obstacle impeding Islam’s
domination of all humanity. Therefore, tomorrow, the Christian faithful must
not only be converted to Islam, but their sacred spaces must be taken from them
and given to the Dar al-Islam – the House of Islam.” As for America’s future, President
Clinton’s former Islamic advisor and convicted Al Qaeda financier Abdurahman Alamoudi
said, “This country (America) will become a Muslim country.”
Because
of the media’s and Islam’s shared hatred of our Judeo-Christian God, the media turns
attention away from today’s Christian Genocide, thereby manifesting its silence
on the issue. As it concentrates on Bruce Jenner’s new transgendered facade with
his carefully chosen lipstick color highlighting his high feminine cheekbones,
Kim Kardashian West’s “lacy look over her baby bump,” and covering up Hillary
Clinton’s wiping her server clean – “What? With a cloth or something?” – today’s
current genocide of Christians in the Middle East prophesies tomorrow’s
genocide of the rest of us, wiping us clean off the face of the earth with the
cloth of Islam.
Yesterday’s history of Christian blood
running in ancient city streets should have predicted today’s Middle East slaughter
of Christians by Islamic hatred. Tomorrow’s future was predicted on August 9,
2014, by Archbishop Amel Nona, Chaldean Archbishop of Mosul, now exiled, when
he said, “Our sufferings today are the prelude of those you, Europeans and
Western Christians, will also suffer in the near future. Your liberal and
democratic principles are worth nothing here. You must consider again our
reality in the Middle East, because you are welcoming in your countries an ever
growing number (millions) of Muslims. Also you are in danger. You must take strong
and courageous decisions, even at the cost of your principles. You think all
men are created equal, but that is not true: Islam does not say that all men
are equal. Your values are not their values. If you do not understand this soon
enough, (tomorrow) you will become the victims of the enemy you have welcomed
in your home.”
And as the song says, “Tomorrow is
only a day away.”

Ecumenicide - USCCB Channels Neville Chamberlain
First a little history lesson. Neville Chamberlain was Prime Minister of England during the late 1930s, immediately preceding Winston Churchill. He and much of Europe watched as Hitler began annexing and conquering middle Europe. Chamberlain earned notoriety for the Munich Accord that he struck with Hitler that basically threw Czechoslovakia under Hitler's bus. Chamberlain thought that by this treachery disguised as "dialog", that there would be "peace in our time". He was absolutely wrong, in spades.
The USCCB has a penchant for not learning from history - or at least not caring about the obvious lessons therein. In the wake of American reporters being beheaded, Christians being crucified, babies beheaded, other minorities being buried alive and driven from their homes to certain death - all at the hands of Muslims - the USCCB wants to engage in Chamberlain-style "dialogue". That is absolutely useless. Are there more "moderate" Muslims? We can answer that question by asking another: have we heard any "moderate" Muslim roundly denounce the barbarism of the more obviously radical Muslims? The answer to the second question is the answer to the first. I have heard of none. Dialogue with these "moderates" is an absolute waste at best. Perhaps the US bishops would do well to read this sermon by St. Bernard of Clairvaux as he called Christendom to arms for the Second Crusade.
Why are the bishops concerned about "dialogue"? Why aren't they proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in all its fullness? Perhaps if they focused only on their God-given mission, Christians would not be facing near extinction in many parts of the middle east.
UPDATE - I'm afraid the lunacy is getting worse. See this.

Cardinal Dolan Shames His Faith In Front Of Muslims
A few days ago Cardinal Dolan met with about forty other faith leaders at the Staten Island Albanian Islamic Cultural Center. Did he preach the Faith? Did he seek their conversion to Christianity? Did he, in other words, behave like - a bishop?
In a word, NO.
He uttered heresy when he said to the Muslim leaders, "you love god, we love god and he is the same god'." There is a reason why I did not capitalize those "g"s. Simply put, what the Muslims worship is a false idol; it is not the One, True, Triune God. Even the true Muslims, for all their many faults, understand that "allah" is not equivalent to the One True God (although their perspective is different). He then lauded them for "not losing their faith". Faith in a false idol? Your Eminence, you are more at fault than they for you spouted the heresy of indifferentism at them as opposed to the truth of the Gospel.
He is not the first Prince of the Church to try to curry favor with Muslims by behaving as though heresy was equivalent to the One True Faith. Our own Cardinal McCarrick set less-than-sterling examples of that many times in the past - chronicled by Yours Truly.
Pray for our shepherds. And by all means, speak out!

Cardinal McCarrick Praises Hamas-Related Imam
Retired Cardinal McCarrick stepped into the radar again, once again displaying a regretable tendency to kiss up to Muslim leaders with ties to violence. From Jihad Watch, we receive this sorry, but all-too-typical report and clip of the Cardinal waxing lyrical about his "friend". Click here if you cannot see the embedded video in that report.
Some may whine that "Muslims and Christians worship the same deity". For all their many faults, even the Muslims can tell the difference between their "allah" and our God. Why can't some of us?
This is not the first time I've reported on the Cardinal's tendency to heap praises upon religious leaders that smile at him on one hand but yet have ties to Hamas and other promoters of violence and terrorism. See:

I regret that it probably won't be the last.

Catholic Standard's Attempt At "Guilting" Us
In today's Catholic Standard (page 4 of the print edition) we read "Anti-Muslim Sentiment: Catholics Say It Reminds Them of Own Experience". I linked to the online version as it appears in Catholic News Service because it does not appear on the Catholic Standard's page (at least I couldn't locate it). I've a number of problems with this article.
First we hear of testimony from such "stellar" Catholics like Richard Durbin and Patrick Leahy. Both these men have spent their political careers advancing positions in direct opposition to the Catholic faith: legalized baby-murder, promotion of gay lifestyles, perversion of marriage. Whatever "experience" they're relating, it isn't authentically Catholic.
There is in this article much ballyhoo about "persecution" and "violence", but no specific examples are given. Are the details being kept nebulous for a reason - such as "they don't exist to a relevant degree"? However there is just the slightest hint of an agenda from Thomas Perez, when he alleged "instances of religious intolerance in the workplace, harassment of school students, threats of violence, disputes over Mosques and other actions of bigotry in the past decade."

BINGO!!
Is this an attempt to get good people to simply shut up about the Ground Zero Mosque? Much has been written about the folly of that proposed mosque. I needn't rehash that here.
Let's be honest about something else. There is no doubt that Muslims, just like anyone else, deserve the respect and dignity due to any human being, simply because they are created in the image and likeness of God, who wants their salvation as much as anyone else's. However, while all people are created equal in God's eyes, the same cannot be said for religions and other subordinate ideologies. Some are clearly dangerous - as is Islam. It is the willfully (and thus sinfully) naive that insists that all faiths are equal. That's called indifferentism, folks. That's a heresy. On the right sidebar are links detailing the dangers of Islam; some of those are created by former Muslims (at great risk to their own lives, I might add).
Yesterday I posted Ann Barnhardt's video. Please watch it. Notice that as she tears out a page, she quotes from that page Islamic passages that justify rape, pedophilia, beheadings and other manners of violence. Actually, "justify" isn't the right verb; what would be more accurate is "command". Some might take umbrage to her tactic; this is probably a matter about which good people - even good Catholics - can disagree. For an interesting treatise on the matter, read this blog article.

Former Muslim Confirms From Koran That "Allah" Is Not A Synonym For God
Yoo hoo! Cardinal McCarrick, please take note! Allah is indeed a false idol, NOT to be confused with the One True God!
Also in dire need of such education is the current staff of the John Paul II Cultural Center for allowing their facilities to be used to host "interfaith" deception. I note, though, that soon some Dominican Sisters will be assuming ownership. Hopefully that sort of foolishness will not be repeated there.
I address this, too, to the staff of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, particularly after they allowed the Interfaith Concert Debacle to occur a few weeks ago. By the way - did you ever purify and/or rededicate the Shrine after all that idolotrous blasphemy?

I note, though, that soon some Dominican Sisters will be assuming ownership. Hopefully that sort of foolishness will not be repeated there.
I address this, too, to the staff of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, particularly after they allowed the Interfaith Concert Debacle to occur a few weeks ago. By the way - did you ever purify and/or rededicate the Shrine after all that idolotrous blasphemy?

Mom And Her Two-Year Old
We've all witnessed scenes in a grocery or toy store when a toddler wants some goodie that his/her mother would rather not procure. Well, the toddler screems, stomps and carries on. Rather than exert her proper authority over her child, Mom gives in. You just know how that child will turn out fifteen years from that time.
The trauma in the store is a microcosym of what we see in how the civilized world relates to the Muslim world (yes they are different). We all heard of the riots and violence (resulting in at least two deaths in Afghanistan) that Muslims instigated - even before any qurans were burnt. My friend at Les Femmes, in a piece written today, spoke of the wanton murders in which they engage on the slightest pretext of insult. Last Friday, Michelle Malkin wrote a piece entitled "The Eternal Flame of Muslim Outrage". Both have described the common Muslim propensity to be perpetually angry and outraged. They are not at all unlike the hypothetical toddler who engages in infantile temper tantrums.
Unfortunately these overgrown brats have their enablers amongst us - and I mean in the Church! Two of them have recently been described in this blog: Cardinal McCarrick and the rectors of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Sacramento CA. They are among those who insist on kissing the hands of those who slap us; actually, substitute the word "murder" for "slap" as that is much more accurate. In so doing, they offer supreme insult to the families of the dead, rubbing salt into their already aching wounds. They also act to inhibit our defenses of ourselves and our loved ones; whether or not that is their intent is not for me to judge, but only a self-deluded fool will not admit that such is the effect. They only embolden the thugs to even more draconian acts of terror and destruction.
For further "food for thought", I recommend to your reading "What the Burning Quran Issue Says about Us" and "Burning Qurans and Bibles". Above all, speak out. The world desperately needs grown-ups to step up to the plate. There won't be any such example coming from the Messiah Most Miserable or his Minions Most Slavish. Nor will such example be emanating from many bishops, it seems.

Mosque at Grond Zero - Secret Motives??
This video does make some sense. At any rate, it's time to toss out the liberal lemmings of New York City who gave the go-ahead for this poke-in-the-eye to all Americans and a supreme insult to the families of those who perished on September 11, 2001. (Click here if you can't see embedded videos)

Border Control = Racial Profiling? Guess Again!!
Most intelligent people have known all along that Hispanics were NOT the only ones sneaking across the US-Mexican border. Other nefarious types are coming across, too. Now here's documented proof.

Yoo-hoo! Cardinal Mahoney and other USCCB drones! Are you looking? Do you care?

September 25th - urgent call to prayer and action
On September 25th, busloads of Muslims will pour into Washington DC to celebrate what they call a day of prayer. Their slogan for the event is "Our Time Has Come". We can only guess what that means!
Pursuant to the Christian's responsibility to offer witness in the face of heresy and idolotry, Christian Women in Action will be conducting a Jericho Walk in Washington on that day. Click that link for further details and contact information. Please spread this word along!
