Some Considerations By Archbishop Vigano

The good archbishop issued a lengthy and worthwhile commentary on the elections of last week.  I'll preface with some of my own thoughts.  While in some respects this election was a victory, it is more importantly a reprieve.  Our Lord has given us some more time, some additional breathing room to pray and work for a spiritual revival in this country.  Repentance is sorely needed, most especially when it comes to mocking God outright, slaughtering the unborn and elderly and normalizing all sorts of vile perversions.

I'd like to reiterate the call of Our Lady of Fatima to pray the Rosary daily, to make First Saturday devotions.  By no means, however, is that a be-all-and-end-all.  That is just a start, but I will elaborate later.  For now, here is Archbishop Vigano's letter, linked here and reproduced in its entirety below.

A few days ago, on the eve of the U.S. Presidential Election, the arrogance of political commentators in the United States and all vassal nations had reached unexplored heights. Singers, actors, philanthropists, public figures, and journalists who supported Kamala Harris went so far as to threaten to leave the United States if Donald J. Trump was elected, and in truth many today expect them to fulfill their promises. Even Jorge Mario Bergoglio made a gesture, with his trademark politeness, traveling in a wheelchair to the penthouse of radical Sorosian activist and abortionist Emma Bonino with white roses and chocolates, as if to issue a final, desperate plea to American Catholics not to be too skeevy and to vote for Harris, who shares with Bergoglio the woke religion. The mainstream media, owned by the usual big investment funds, shamelessly endorsed Kamala and ridiculed, indeed criminalized Donald Trump. And the more rude, the more transgressive, the more obscene, the more profane Harris supporters were, the more space they were given on television and social media.

Trucks with millions of already-voted ballots were ready to reach Pennsylvania and those states where the votes of deceased, relocated Democrats and illegal immigrants were not enough to skew the election result. Insidious algorithms embedded in the State Election Commission’s voter registration databases were uncovered by Jerome R. Corsi, Ph.D. These algorithms allowed false voter registrations to be printed and concealed, which could be used in various election fraud schemes, including counting absentee ballots cast by nonexistent voters. By exposing the scheme, Dr. Corsi prevented the creation of millions of fraudulent votes for Kamala Harris. In multiple states in the Union, computer reports revealed that electronic voting registration machines allowed votes to be changed remotely, and in one case access passwords were even leaked online.

 

On the morning of November 5, in short, it seemed that everything was settled. Everyone thought so: some with the arrogance of those who believe themselves to be superior merely because they are progressive, woke, green, resilient, inclusive, sustainable, gender-ideologized; others with that fund of trepidation of those who find themselves like the young David fighting the giant Goliath. Yet in a matter of hours, that whole immense house of cards, that whole mighty electoral machine sagged like a circus tent.

The Globalist Metaverse

The most remarkable element of this presidential campaign, in my opinion, consists in the manifestation of the pride and conceit of the self-proclaimed “good guys”; a pride that has made them deaf and blind to the true, real demands of the people; a conceit that places them above the miserable daily affairs of the vulgar and places them in a virtual world, in a surreal metaverse in which normal people are not allowed. It is the metaverse of the globalist world, with its agenda, its religion, its high priests, its prophets, its rituals, its dogmas, its holy books, and its idols. The only thing Kamala had to do was make this dystopia irreversible by making it the official religion of the United States of America and its ideological colonies.

Bergoglio, the Jesuits (with their U.S. leaders, Thomas Reese and James Martin), the U.S. Cardinals in the line of McCarrick, and the entire Bergoglian episcopate were waiting for nothing else, replicating in the ecclesial sphere that irremediable rupture between Hierarchy and faithful that in the civil sphere has been consummated between the ruling class and citizens. On the other hand, even the exponents of the “synodal church” are under blackmail no more or less than the clients of Jeffrey Epstein and Sean Combs. It is not surprising that the outcome of the elections has outraged the exponents of the deep church, which for decades, with the support of the deep state, infiltrated the Catholic Church and worked for her demolition. The Jesuits together with “their pope,” accomplices of the globalist subversive plan, ought to soon suffer the same cancellation that in recent years they have inflicted – also making use of the political support they enjoy – on those who have denounced their betrayal.

“Yes, we can,” Obama said years ago. And we’ve seen it: the deep state has indeed been able to do everything it promised, from protecting the pedo-satanist elite to covering up the most scandalous cases of corruption; from imposing the insane green policies and climate fraud to administering a poison designed to exterminate the population; from genetic engineering to the systematic destruction of agriculture and animal husbandry; from the energy crisis provoked to destroy the economic fabric of the nation to the war in Ukraine and the Middle East. All of this has been done by transferring billions from the pockets of citizens to the offshore accounts of multinational corporations, pharmaceutical companies, arms manufacturers, and “humanitarian” organizations that are always headed by the well-known families of the world’s usurious high finance.

 

The Disconnection from the Real World

 

Those who marvel at the resounding failure of the globalist metaverse show by their surprise that they are totally disconnected from the real world, where men and women literally fight to get to work, and not just to get a job, because our streets are dumps of derelicts and criminals; where parents have to protect their children from the perversions and obscenities of their teachers, or where a woke judge can take your child away from you because you don’t call him or her by the pronouns he or she has “chosen”. In the real world we worry about the cost of living, rising energy prices, the ever-lower quality of large-scale retail products, and the difficulty of finding healthy food. In the real world, the farmer has to think about how to survive after paying taxes and being crushed by unfair competition from multinational corporations, and the rancher feels helpless when the government requires him to cull his cattle for bird flu or because his cows produce CO2.

To hear a fake African-American posing as a former McDonalds server talking about homo-transphobia, white supremacism, abortions up to the ninth month and beyond, the abolition of gasoline cars and green transition in the face of the destruction of the Nation at the hands of the globalist Left is grotesque and mercilessly shows the classism of an élite that exists and thrives only by exploiting the masses and trampling on the basic rights of the people. And this shameless arrogance of the powerful is also common to Canada, Europe, and Australia. A few days ago, the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, emphatically evoked the report “The Limits to Growth” published fifty years ago by the Club of Rome, in which it theorized that world population decline and economic degrowth were needed to save the Planet, or rather: to save the criminal monopoly of big investment funds. The herd led to the slaughter realized that the fine words about environmental friendliness and net zero are colossal lies that hide a terrible truth: the emissaries of the World Economic Forum in the Western governments want to exterminate the population through mass sterilization, wars, famines, droughts, pandemics, abortion, euthanasia, and gender ideology; and that this criminal project was started fifty years ago by means of indoctrination and propaganda work worthy of the worst dictatorships.

Silencing dissenting voices with the smear of being “conspiracy theorists” has not helped; on the contrary, it has been the fierce censorship, ever since the pandemic farce, that has awakened that healthy instinct that makes anyone suspicious of a narrative that contrasts obscenely with reality. A reality that is not perception, when merely because you have white skin, wear a cross around your neck or have the Stars and Stripes flag flying in your backyard someone feels entitled to consider you inferior and therefore deserving of being attacked or killed.

The Significance of this Victory

This round of elections shows us not only the unchallenged victory of Donald Trump. It makes evident a plebiscite vote of the majority of Americans in favor of a worldview completely antithetical to and irreconcilable with the globalist, woke dystopia that we now know is supported by a minority of the nation despite the disproportionate deployment of means and resources to support it.

The result of the polls makes clear the disconnect between the political class of the Radical Left and its electorate, but also and especially that lack of empathy that distinguishes psychopaths. On the other hand, only psychopathic criminals devoted to the worship of Satan can adhere to a neo-Malthusian ideology that theorizes the extermination of one part of humanity, the sterilization of another, and the recurrence of chronic cancers and diseases for the survivors. Only psychopathic criminals devoted to the cult of Satan can claim that destroying agriculture and animal husbandry and producing GMO foods will save nature; or that cutting down trees and replacing them with carbon dioxide-absorbing machines will protect the environment. Only psychopathic criminals devoted to Satan worship can send billions to the most corrupt government in the world – Ukraine – deluding themselves that they can win a war that they provoked and fomented. And there are those among self-styled conservative intellectuals who would like to perpetuate U.S. hostilities with the Russian Federation just to avoid being proven wrong in their self-interested warmongering predictions. Only psychopathic criminals dedicated to the cult of Satan can organize ethnic replacement by indiscriminate immigration, knowing full well that impossible integration is the premise for civil war, especially when citizens are treated as enemies in their homeland. Only psychopaths devoted to the worship of Satan can take children from their families and entrust them to people convicted of pedophilia, or corrupt their innocence with the propaganda of perverted teachers.

We could say that there is no Commandment of God that is not being broken: woke ideology creeps into every aspect of daily life to kill the body and soul, to offend Our Lord, to deny two thousand years of Christian civilization. But this is precisely what they do, and what many have let happen without protest.

The People have had Enough of Wokism

But then November 5 came.

What happened, then? What any “normal” person – but we know that to Dems normality is horrifying – could have foretold: the people are tired of being hostages of a subversive Mafia, of perverted criminals for whom there is never conviction or jail time, of corrupt people who flaunt their dealings in the persuasion that they are untouchable, of people devoted to evil. The people are tired of being trampled on daily, of being humiliated for their honesty, of being mocked for their Faith, of being criminalized because they love their homeland.

In its blinding, the globalist élite has underestimated the strength of that flame that burns in every man, that reminds him that he is called to Good, that admonishes him to avoid Evil, that points him to a destiny of eternal happiness in Heaven. Because the globalists do not know how to love, but only how to hate; and because the hatred in which they are consumed against God and against the man He created in His own image and likeness is sterile, destructive, deadly.

The people who have elected Donald Trump – a number that is far greater than the official figures, if we consider the voter fraud that nonetheless took place –  first and foremost have affirmed their right to remain human. That people is not reactionary, does not hate progress, does not fear freedom. Rather, it does not accept the reversal of the world and reality, it rejects the hell on earth in which the deep state would like to lock it up, and it does not desire to call evil good and good evil (Is 5:20).

 

One Nation under God

 

Each of us has been able to see how the most sophisticated plans of the New World Order have been thwarted by seemingly random events. Providence has dismantled a global threat with small moves, showing us that God is truly all-powerful, and that the destinies of the world are in His hands. It is now up to us not to squander the opportunity we have been given, to draw lessons from the recent past, and not let our guard down. The élite now fleeing to their lairs will regroup so that they can launch a new attack more tremendous than the one we have witnessed in recent years. But in this phase of awakening consciences and retaking the Nation under God, we must not forget that the battle between God and Satan, between the children of Light and the children of darkness continues. Nor must we forget that Our Lord comes to our aid only when we recognize our weakness and His power, and that His help is all the more effective the more we cooperate with God’s plan. This is the true “greatest reset”: to recapitulate all things in Christ — Instaurare omnia in Christo (Eph. 1:10) — because it is to Christ alone that universal Lordship belongs. Christ is King. And he is King not only of individuals and families, but of all earthly societies, of all nations.

 

The four-year term that will be inaugurated in a few weeks may mark a turning point in the history of the United States of America and of all humankind, and this will depend on the firm determination with which President Trump will roll the heads of this Leviathan, knowing that with the Enemy of God and humankind there can be neither dialogue nor compromise. It will depend on who the President chooses as his collaborators, among whom traitors and opponents will certainly try to creep in. It will depend on how the President will be able to conform his actions to God’s Law, mindful of the grace that was granted to him by escaping multiple assassination attempts.

Donald J. Trump has recognized that above him is the Lord. Let him not forget this when he uses the international clout America enjoys to promote peace with Russia and an end to genocide in the Middle East, so that the concord of peoples is founded on the Common Good and is no longer threatened by the deep state’s thirst for power. He must not forget that the defense of life, from the first moment of conception to natural death, must be a priority goal. And in this grand and ambitious project of restoring institutions and society, it will be essential to involve those world leaders who, like President Trump, know the threat of the subversive elite and intend to oppose it. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, and other heads of state and government will certainly be his most valuable allies in fighting the globalist agenda. And I believe the time has finally come to promote an Antiglobalist Alliance, through which the healthy forces of the peoples hitherto hostage to the servants of Davos can be united.

The success of the “greatest reset” represented by the election of Donald Trump and the defeat of the radical Left will also depend on how well the people and their rulers can conform to God’s will. Our prayers have reached the Throne of the Divine Majesty and have been heard: let us make ourselves worthy of God’s Mercy by exemplary living and bear witness to Our Lord Jesus Christ by a life consistent with the Gospel. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (Rom 12:21).

The Fake Sister Lucy - And Why It Matters

After the Fatima apparitions, the children said that Our Lady confided three secrets to them and that they were to be announced no later than 1960.  Moreover, the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart was supposed to be done by the pope as soon as possible but no later than 1960.  To date, neither has happened.  Ironically, Francis is the one who has come closest to fulfilling the consecration request in that he explicitly mention Russia by name, but he did not order the bishops to join him in the consecration (a number of them did, though, on their own initiative).

In the middle of the 20th century, Sister Lucia stated several times that Our Lady was displeased at the delay in fulfilling her requests.  Then, in the 1980s, after John Paul II consecrated the world - not mentioning Russia by name - to her Immaculate Heart, Sister Lucia was quoted as saying that this consecration fulfilled Our Lady's request.  That is, of course, a flat-out lie.  Our Lady was quite specific when she said that Russia must be consecrated.  She singled out Russia, and the consecration should have done the same.  I had always hypothesized that Sister Lucia was being misquoted by bad-actor bishops and that may indeed be the case.  Now that some are coming forth with evidence that the Lucy that we've been seeing for the past few decades may be an imposter, we can reasonably entertain the possibility that this bogus Lucy did claim that John Paul's consecration was according to Our Lady's stipulations.

Think of it.  This woman, if she was an imposter, was lying anyway.  Why would she have any compunctions regarding her false claim?  For that matter, her claim regarding the third secret is probably also a lie and we still aren't being told the full story, contrary to Our Lady's wishes.  I post three videos below and ask that you watch these closely.  I will have more commentary below them.

In the Lifesite clip, Dr Chojnowski mentioned (the real) Sister Lucy's insistence that the third secret be announced no later than 1960 or the time of her death.  However, in a 1993 interview, the imposter said that the secret was not to be released.  This is at the 29:03 mark of the video.

Not only do we have a clear contradiction, but perhaps we have here a motive for replacing Sister Lucy with an imposter.  During much of the 1950s, Pius XII was pope.  Aside from his own faulty consecration (he mentioned Russia but did not involve the bishops) he seemed ready to obey the Fatima message, meaning that he would have released the third secret in compliance with those deadlines.  I am now hypothesizing, but perhaps the real Sister Lucy passed away in the 1950s.  To prevent the pope from revealing the Third Secret, is it possible that the masons in the Vatican coughed up a scheme to present a phony Lucy so Pius would not believe it incumbent to reveal the Third Secret?

Perhaps several popes were deceived by her.  She was cloistered and not seen frequently.  Pope John XXIII still could not have been held blameless as 1960 happened during his pontificate.  Again, this is just a theory, but it sounds more humane than if the masons actually harmed the real Sister Lucy.

At any rate, it seems to be the case that what we have here is a brazen attempt to thwart the intentions of the Mother of God, and of Our Lord Himself.  If nothing else, it shows that the masons believe in the spiritual ramifications of the Fatima message; why else would they work so feverishly to thwart it?  And no, it wasn't just mere fear of insulting the Soviet Union.  They knew what they were doing - engaging in yet another attempt to undermine Holy Mother Church.

So how have they gotten by with this scam for so long?  There are a multiple of factors.

• Catholics today, even well-meaning Catholics, are simply ignorant of both Church teaching and Church history.  In this day and age, with the internet at our disposal, such ignorance is inexcusable.  I would recommend some serious reading and study.  For details about Fatima, read accounts dated 1950-ish or older.  Compare that with what the imposter said.
• Well-meaning Catholics are way too naïve regarding clergy and other leaders.  One would think that the sex scandals might have knocked off some rose-colored glasses but for too many, that has not been the case.  There is evil in the Church, even in the Vatican itself.  Wake up

Above all, pray and  frequently avail yourselves of the Sacraments.  Go to a Traditional Latin Mass if at all possible.  Pray your Rosaries daily and wear the brown scapular.  Practice the Five First Saturday devotions, as requested by Our Lady of Fatima.  Pray for a pope who will consecrate Russia exactly as she stipulated and who will reveal the Third Secret.  We are in a time of chastisement (in case you haven't noticed) and it will worsen, barring a direct intervention from God.  We don't have time to waste.

Consecration Prayer Published

O Mary, Mother of God and our Mother, in this time of trial we turn to you. As our Mother, you love us and know us: no concern of our hearts is hidden from you. Mother of mercy, how often we have experienced your watchful care and your peaceful presence! You never cease to guide us to Jesus, the Prince of Peace.

Yet we have strayed from that path of peace. We have forgotten the lesson learned from the tragedies of the last century, the sacrifice of the millions who fell in two world wars. We have disregarded the commitments we made as a community of nations. We have betrayed peoples’ dreams of peace and the hopes of the young. We grew sick with greed, we thought only of our own nations and their interests, we grew indifferent and caught up in our selfish needs and concerns. We chose to ignore God, to be satisfied with our illusions, to grow arrogant and aggressive, to suppress innocent lives and to stockpile weapons. We stopped being our neighbour’s keepers and stewards of our common home. We have ravaged the garden of the earth with war and by our sins we have broken the heart of our heavenly Father, who desires us to be brothers and sisters. We grew indifferent to everyone and everything except ourselves. Now with shame we cry out: Forgive us, Lord!

Holy Mother, amid the misery of our sinfulness, amid our struggles and weaknesses, amid the mystery of iniquity that is evil and war, you remind us that God never abandons us, but continues to look upon us with love, ever ready to forgive us and raise us up to new life. He has given you to us and made your Immaculate Heart a refuge for the Church and for all humanity. By God’s gracious will, you are ever with us; even in the most troubled moments of our history, you are there to guide us with tender love.

We now turn to you and knock at the door of your heart. We are your beloved children. In every age you make yourself known to us, calling us to conversion. At this dark hour, help us and grant us your comfort. Say to us once more: “Am I not here, I who am your Mother?” You are able to untie the knots of our hearts and of our times. In you we place our trust. We are confident that, especially in moments of trial, you will not be deaf to our supplication and will come to our aid.

That is what you did at Cana in Galilee, when you interceded with Jesus and he worked the first of his signs. To preserve the joy of the wedding feast, you said to him: “They have no wine” (Jn 2:3). Now, O Mother, repeat those words and that prayer, for in our own day we have run out of the wine of hope, joy has fled, fraternity has faded. We have forgotten our humanity and squandered the gift of peace. We opened our hearts to violence and destructiveness. How greatly we need your maternal help!

Therefore, O Mother, hear our prayer.

Star of the Sea, do not let us be shipwrecked in the tempest of war.

Ark of the New Covenant, inspire projects and paths of reconciliation.

Queen of Heaven, restore God’s peace to the world.

Eliminate hatred and the thirst for revenge, and teach us forgiveness.

Free us from war, protect our world from the menace of nuclear weapons.

Queen of the Rosary, make us realize our need to pray and to love.

Queen of the Human Family, show people the path of fraternity.

Queen of Peace, obtain peace for our world.

O Mother, may your sorrowful plea stir our hardened hearts. May the tears you shed for us make this valley parched by our hatred blossom anew. Amid the thunder of weapons, may your prayer turn our thoughts to peace. May your maternal touch soothe those who suffer and flee from the rain of bombs. May your motherly embrace comfort those forced to leave their homes and their native land. May your Sorrowful Heart move us to compassion and inspire us to open our doors and to care for our brothers and sisters who are injured and cast aside.

Holy Mother of God, as you stood beneath the cross, Jesus, seeing the disciple at your side, said: “Behold your son” (Jn 19:26.) In this way he entrusted each of us to you. To the disciple, and to each of us, he said: “Behold, your Mother” (v. 27). Mother Mary, we now desire to welcome you into our lives and our history. At this hour, a weary and distraught humanity stands with you beneath the cross, needing to entrust itself to you and, through you, to consecrate itself to Christ. The people of Ukraine and Russia, who venerate you with great love, now turn to you, even as your heart beats with compassion for them and for all those peoples decimated by war, hunger, injustice and poverty.

Therefore, Mother of God and our Mother, to your Immaculate Heart we solemnly entrust and consecrate ourselves, the Church and all humanity, especially Russia and Ukraine. Accept this act that we carry out with confidence and love. Grant that war may end and peace spread throughout the world. The “Fiat” that arose from your heart opened the doors of history to the Prince of Peace. We trust that, through your heart, peace will dawn once more. To you we consecrate the future of the whole human family, the needs and expectations of every people, the anxieties and hopes of the world.

Through your intercession, may God’s mercy be poured out on the earth and the gentle rhythm of peace return to mark our days. Our Lady of the “Fiat," on whom the Holy Spirit descended, restore among us the harmony that comes from God. May you, our “living fountain of hope,” water the dryness of our hearts. In your womb Jesus took flesh; help us to foster the growth of communion. You once trod the streets of our world; lead us now on the paths of peace. Amen.

Frankly, I don't know if this suffices to fulfill the specific request put forth by Our Lady of Fatima.  The words "consecrate" and "Russia" do occur in the same sentence, but Russia is not named at the primary object of the act of consecration.  However, it does come closer to the request than have all the other consecrations put forth by previous pontiffs.

Between now and this coming Friday the prayer could change - for better or worse.  As always, keep praying the Rosary.

In The Face Of The Looming Biden-Harris Tyranny

So now it appears that Joe "Plugs" Biden will be our next president: that is, until his handlers decide that he no longer needs to be in the White House for show and they replace him with someone else, probably Kamel.  No one with a scintilla of honesty in their being can gainsay that the election was stolen from Donald Trump, and quite blatantly at that.

Last evening however, I watched many members of the Senate wax pompous about doing "the will of the people" and decrying the attempts to set things aright.  Of course I would have expected that from the Democrats but too many Republicans played the "go along to get along" game.  That includes Vice President Pence, who basically ended his political career by disgracing himself spectacularly.  I wonder whom those bloviating gas-bags thought they were deceiving?  Maybe they didn't care, although I suspect there are a great number of woefully and willfully ignorant and naive people who swallowed that pabulum "lock, stock and barrel".

Still, a great many good and decent people fought hard these last few weeks to seek a modicum of real justice for the "will of the people", although that didn't happen last evening - political posturing aside.  We prayed to Our Lord, who obviously allowed this scourge to happen.  Now we must ask "why", not to contend with God or to utter rebellious complaint, but to learn what lessons that He wants us to draw from this sorry episode.

John Adams, a Founding Father and the second president of the United States, had this to say:"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."  Over the past 47 years, our country has slaughtered over 1 million of its unborn children.  It has expelled God from its schools and other sectors of public life.  It is now celebrating homosexuality and other manners of sexual perversions.  Long ago did we forfeit any claim to being a "moral and religious people".  I myself have conversed with people (some of them claiming to be Catholic!) who claim that just because the pope or bishops say so, that it's perfectly fine and even obligatory to ingest vaccines made from the body parts of murdered children.  Is it really any wonder that we must now deal with tyrants looming over us?

And deal with them we must, as we repent before Our Lord.  Some might now say our task is to passively suffer in silence and let the thugs have their ways.  This stance is nothing more than cowardice cloaked with a thin sanctimonious veneer.  I am seeing way too many instances of this nonsense on social media.  Too many are posting nonsense to the efffect of, "we are being chastised and God is in control, so let's just wait and watch God's plan unfold, and praise the Lord".  Frankly, anyone who posts this crap needs to be gob-smacked on the side of his or her head.  This damnable passivity is one of the many reasons why we are being chastised, and now we should engage in more of that sin?

So what to do now?  The first thing is that we must deal with the spiritual realities.  Our Lady of Fatima gave us very specific requests.  Make the First Saturday devotiions: that is, Mass, Confession, Rosary.  When I say "Mass", I mean get yourself to an in-person Mass.  That is one of the reasons we are being punished; the bishops have shuttered the churches, but by and large we have not uttered a peep regarding that.  Drive several hours, if you must, to receive the Sacraments.  I myself have had to do that.  Pray your Rosaries - every day.  Wear the Brown Scapulars, in accord with the wishes of Our Lady.

We must educate ourselves regarding the eternal truths of our Faith.  We cannot depend on the clergy (with a few exceptions) to assist us.  When we have pope and bishops claiming that it's morally acceptable to utilize the results of the mutilation of the bodies of murdered babies in a witches'-brew vaccine, how can we trust them to tell us the truth in other areas?

Learn US history (world history, too) by reading books that are older than the politically correct propaganda that has been published - same goes for civics (now we know why the public schools stopped teaching civics).

Look at the left and see how they were able to take a position of ascendancy.  It didn't just happen overnight.  They worked patiently and diligently through several decades, quietly ensconsing themselves in positions of influence.  We can afford to do no less.  While we won't adopt their goals and many of their methods, we must learn from their long-term dedication to their goals, such as those goals are.

One facebook friend of mine suggested that we put heavy emphasis on local actions, and local governments.  If nothing else, it's local governments that determine voting policies for their areas.  How many times have we seen "more Christian than thou" types wax sanctimonious about not voting for "the lesser of two evils" but then tout the virtues of some obscure "third party" candidate?  Well perhaps this is time to scuttle the GOP for a third party, but that party will have to win some down-ticket races in order to position themselves to float candidates for national offices.

Obviously we'll have to network with each other, and I might try to work out details.  Just the act of gathering in our own homes these days would constitute acts of civil disobedience, but perhaps that's just what is needed.  An unjust law is no law itself, and these "mandates" about the number of people in homes fly in the face of the First Amendment right to peaceable assembly.  These measures are not about "safety".  They are all about control, and about keeping us from one another to make it difficult to resist their planned tyrannies.

Let's steel ourselves with prayer and the Sacraments.  Pray those Rosaries, for some real struggles are ahead of us.

Dec 13th Jericho March

The #JerichoMarch #StopTheSteal rally in DC happened Saturday, Dec 12, Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.  Most of the activities, including the three concurrent marches, happened in the morning.  Because I was at my usual spot in front of a local abortion mill, I was not able to make those events. 

After I finished my time at the mill, I took the Metro to the Smithsonian stop.  I had an inkling that I had missed most of the events since I saw Trump supporters on the Metro who were leaving the area.  I saw more of them departing as I left the stop - but several thousands still remained.  The picture to the right, from the facebook page of a friend of mine, shows the crowds on the mall during the earlier hours.

I passed by a rally going on in front of the Smithsonian and proceeded to the Capitol and the Supreme Court building, where I knew Jericho Marches had occurred.  Several thousands still lingered.  As I arrived, so did two progressive hecklers on bikes.  One of them had some kind of recorder strapped to her back that was playing loudly the words "f*** Trump".  That's all it said.  The other carried some little cardboard sign that didn't say much of anything.  They were promptly contradicted by Trump supporters.  One of them told the hecklers that he respected their right to be there.  Indeed, the hecklers must have known that such would have been the mindset of us all.  Others of their ilk don't extend to us the same courtesy: more on that later.

Here's some amusing "street theater", in the person of the man in the skeleton costume.  The sad thing is that there are many progressives who did precisely that during the election, and probably cast more than nine votes.

As I was leaving and headed towards Union Station, I spotted DC police at the intersection of Constitution and First getting into riot gear.  This was in the area where the antifa person attacked a Trump supporter at the rally last month.  They were clearly anticipating trouble.  Several hours later, trouble did happen at McPherson Square, where antifa thugs stabbed four Trump supporters.

I saw one very important display in front of the Supreme Court, below.  These ladies have the right idea in calling to mind Our Lady of Fatima and her requests.

The fight for our nation, and by extension western civilization, is far from over.  Above all, our Rosaries and prayers are needed.

Our Lady Of Akita

This video is for your prayerful consideration.  I don't know about claiming that the Akita message is the third secret of Fatima, but these messages must be taken seriously.

Father Michael Rodriguez On Pope Francis, Dubia, Filial Correction And Fatima

We are days away from the centennial anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima's last apparition to the three children.  On that day, the Miracle of the Sun occurred.  Rather than focus on that miracle, we must address the message of Our Lady of Fatima.  By and large, it has been disobeyed and the result has been nothing less than catastrophic.  She asked that the Pope, in union with the bishops, consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart.  Verbal tap-dancing and spin-meistering aside, that has not been done.

I post now a video of a talk given by Father Michael Rodriguez a few days ago.  He speaks on the topics of Fatima, Pope Francis, the Dubia and the Filial Correction.  It is an hour long but worth every minute.  Please watch it in its entirety.  Towards the end he recommends some actions.  To that list I might have added the wearing of the Brown Scapular and First Saturday devotions: (Mass, Confession, Rosary, visit to the Blessed Sacrament.

Cardinal Burke Calls For The Correct Consecration Of Russia To Mary's Immaculate Heart

On Tuesday Cardinal Paul Josef Cordes (of Germany) confirmed the statement of Father Amorth (Vatican exorcist) that Pope John Paul II did not consecrate Russia to Mary's Immaculate Heart in 1984.  Apparently he wanted to do so, but allowed himself to be persuaded by Vatican diplomats not to mention Russia for fear of causing political conflicts.

We all know that he consecrated "the world" to Mary's Immaculate Heart.  While that consecration was undoubtedly beneficial in and of itself, it was not done in the manner that Our Lady specified to the Fatima seers in 1917.  The LifeSiteNews posts reminds us that the Fatima apparitions are not part and parcel of the Deposit of Faith and one may be a true Catholic and not believe them.  That is true enough.  However, one either believes that the Blessed Mother spoke at that time, or they don't.  If they do believe that she spoke, then why the reticence about taking her at her word?  Why demure in complete obedience?  Why place the pleadings of Vatican officials over the requests of the Mother of God?

Today at the Rome Life Forum, Cardinal Burke called for the consecration of Russia to Mary's Immaculate Heart per her exact specifications.  He too stated that the consecration in 1984 was not in accord with Our Lady of Fatima's specifications.  His exact quote is: "Certainly, Pope Saint John Paul II consecrated the world, including Russia, to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on March 25, 1984.  But, today, once again, we hear the call of Our Lady of Fatima to consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart, in accord with her explicit instruction."

There are those good Catholics who insist on pretending that the Fatima requirements were satisfied in 1984.  They probably are loathe to believe that Pope St John Paul II might have faltered in being completely obedient to Our Lady of Fatima.  They fail to consider that while he was still on this earth, he was subject to his own sin-weakened human nature, as are we all.  However some others who don't have any intention to honor God have their own reasons.  One individual on Facebook believes that these faux-katholycs fear a large-scale return to Faith and Tradition if Russia is properly consecrated.  I think he's onto something, especially in light of the bad-mouthing that Cardinal Burke received from Cardinal Maradiaga (head of the pope's "gang of nine" because of his dissidence).

Cardinal Burke went on to list six requests of Our Lady of Fatima.  Five of them we should be doing regularly ourselves.  The sixth one has to do with the consecration of Russia.  Let us join the cardinal in acknowledging that the consecration to Russia has been inexcusably delayed and pray and call for its immediate fulfillment.

Fatima, 100 Years Ago

Today is the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima.  It is also the 100th anniversary of her first appearance to the Fatima children.  She spoke of the need to repent of sin to avoid hell.  Later she appeared to a Japanese sister at Akita and basically continued her message.  There she said that "if men do not repent and better themselves the Father will inflict a terrible punishment."  Between 1917 and now, what has been the change?  Our Lady delivered her words to a world that still was nominally Christian.  That cannot be said anymore, with thousands of babies being slaughtered under cover of civil law, sexual perversion being celebrated, marriage being trivialized and God being openly scorned.

Our Lady of Akita also mentioned that the devil would infiltrate the church, setting clergy against each other.  We certainly see that these days, don't we?

Please pray your Rosaries daily for God's grace of repentance.  Our Lady is making abundantly clear that souls will go to hell if they don't repent and turn to God.

Akita And Fatima Prophesies Playing Out Before Our Eyes

Our Lady of Akita warned that bishops would be pitted against bishops.  Again Our Lady of Fatima she prophesied that the final battle would revolve around the family.  Today we are seeing both these words bear fruit as we see the smoke of Satan issuing forth - with some of it coming from the pope.

Today Catholic Herald published details of an exchange between the pope and some Lutheran pilgrims from Finland.  He told them that "the intention of Martin Luther 500 years ago was to renew the Church, not divide her".  How he divines such an intention is beyond me.  Luther's rebellion spawned many wars, but that's not the worst of it.  His errors led countless millions into eternal damnation as souls cut themselves off from the One True Church.  Unless there is evidence of Luther's repentance and reversion to the Faith, we have reason to believe he's not in a good place.  His life is a lesson to us, true, but it is a lesson in the sorry effects of rebellion, disobedience and deliberate eschewing of the Sacraments.

That being said, why, oh why, is the Vatican commemorating Luther by having its post office issue stamps commemorating him?  Can it be because Luther, who was an ordained priest, jettisoned his vows of celibacy and married?   Well, if they really want to showcase people in Church history who have made mockeries of marriage, perhaps they should issue stamps commemorating King Henry VIII of England.  They could make several of him, showing him with different wives.  Maybe they'll want to go back to the time Christ walked the earth and have one commemorating Herod and Herodias.  Perhaps I shouldn't be saying these things because I might just give them ideas.

Meanwhile, dissident bishops are becoming more brazen.  We heard last week of the scandal being instituted by the bishops of Malta in permitting adulterers to receive Holy Communion to the detriment of their eternal well-being.  One of them, Bishop Mario Grech of the Diocese of Gozo, is compounding his disobedience, heaping disgrace upon his miter, by ordering his priests, under pain of suspension, to distribute Holy Communion to known adulterers.  This insult to Our Lord Himself has precedence, some of it stemming from my own parish almost five years ago.  Recall how the Archdiocese of Washington ejected Father Marcel Guarnizo when Father would not give Holy Communion to a flagrant lesbian.  I've no doubt that had Father Guarnizo been incardinated in this diocese, that he would have been suspended.

In contradiction of the bishops of Malta and in standing for the teachings of Jesus Christ, three bishops of Kazakhstan - including Bishop Athanasius Schneider - released a letter urging that we pray for Pope Francis to revoke "guidelines" such as those issued by the Maltese bishops.  The letter reiterates that God's teachings on marriage and the Eucharist are sacrosanct and immutable.

The bishops of Malta are again being quite flagrant - so flagrant that they cannot be ignored.  If the pope pretends not to notice, I believe we will know where he truly stands on these matters.

Church Militant! Stand With The Four Cardinals!

Randy Engels, who wrote "Rite of Sodomy", one of the first books to expose the gay infestation within the Catholic Church, issued an open letter to Pope Francis on the occasion of the filth that poured from his mouth during that interview a few days ago.  Here it is at it is published at Renew America.  When the pope uttered almost identical bile three years ago, she had written a letter then.  My one disagreement with Ms. Engels is that the pope wasn't only referring to "false news", but "nasty things, even if they're true".  As we know, "nasty" is a term ascribed by subjective judgment/feeling, not by the merits of objective truth.  In other words, the pope was slandering all of us who seek to shine the light on his attempts to undermine Holy Mother Church.  Did he feel the need to trot out that vile insult in a lame attempt to discredit those of us who are shining the light on Amoralis Lamentia and the de facto schism that is becoming more and more apparent?

Perhaps, as Ms. Engel suggested, he was actively trying to desensitize Catholics to the sinfulness of various perversions in order to make things like Amoralis Lamentia more palatable.  Let's look at the title of that document itself - Amoris Laetitia.  Some have criticized my coined term for the document, but perhaps the actual name is problematic itself.  Blogger Ann Barnhardt has issued her own commentary about the papal vulgarity and noted that a Latin definition of "amoris" is sodomy.  I googled it myself and sure enough, it is one of the translations of "amoris".  Yes, it's only one of five definitions, but might we be looking at some deliberate "double entendre" here?  Given past history, I'd say that's a reasonable possibility.

Meanwhile more faithful Catholics are openly protesting Amoralis Lamentia.  Two leading Catholic philosophers, Germain Grisez and John Finnis, issued a 37-page letter to Pope Francis, asking him to condemn some errors that they believe could arise from Amoralis Lamentia.  (The link to the letter on the First Things article is broken.  Go here and download it in case it "disappears")

Yesterday I mentioned a meeting that Bishop Schneider chaired, regarding the AL mess.   He gave a talk at that meeting.  He detailed times throughout history when prelates either defended God's teaching against man's sinful fancies (such as St John Fisher standing against Henry VIII) or when they capitulated to public demand (Aaron the first Jewish high priest making the golden calf).

Now let's look at another aspect through the lens of Our Lady of Akita.  The message of that apparition is quite similar to that given by Our Lady of Fatima, namely, that if there isn't repentance, God will chastise the earth.   Two phrases from Our Lady's message of Oct 13 come to mind.  First, cardinals and bishops will be opposing each other.  Given Archbishop Pinto's rebuke of the four cardinals (apparently at Pope Francis' behest) and Cardinal Tobin's attack on Archbishop Chaput, we see that prophesy playing out before our very eyes.  Another piece of the prophesy that is unfolding as I write this is "the Church will be full of those who accept compromises".  Indeed, the upper eschelons of Church hierarchy seem to be dominated by those who work to undermine her mission to save souls.  Getting back to Fatima, Sister Lucia dos Santos predicted that the "final battle between Christ and Satan will be about marriage and the family."

No one with at least one functioning eye ball in their skull can deny that all these events are happening as we breathe.  What must we do?  First, we remember that we are part of the Church Militant.  We're not the "church mellow", not the "church meely-mouth", not the "church mediocre".  Each and every one of us is called to step out of his/her own insular existence and take up the fight.  It means doing precisely what Our Lord commanded as He communicated through His Mother at Fatima and Akita.  We must also take our public stances - each and every one of us - alongside the four cardinals to demand that the teachings of Jesus Christ be upheld in our Church.

13 Million Rosaries

At Mass today and in our bulletins was promotion for a prayer campaign that in reality is nothing more than a repetition of the request of Our Lady of Fatima.  She asked us, nearly 100 years ago, to pray the Rosary daily for conversion and world piece.  With news of shootings of police and Islamic violence occurring on a daily basis, can anyone doubt that we need divine intervention?

The Year Of Mercy, Without Obedience To Our Lady Of Fatima, Will Be A Miserable Flop

Today ChurchMilitant.com published an article entitled "Two Out Of Every Three Mass-Attending Catholics Support Homosexuality".  I wish I could say that this is a surprise to me, but it isn't.  I live in Montgomery County Maryland and my parish is also in Montgomery County.  Several years ago we were in the process of petitioning gay marriage to the ballot.  We had gotten permission to collect signatures in the church lobby after Masses.  Two of us were calling attendees over to sign.  We called over one lady.  She adamantly refused.  She said she "might go to hell for this but I see no reason why gays can't get married if they want".  Needless to say, my friend and I were taken aback.  Now this woman recently passed away, so I pray that her declaration of support for mortal sin was not prophetic.

Two days ago the news regarding the Southern Baptists was even more disconcerting.  One of the first Baptist churches of the nation is now conducting "gay #mowwidges" and ordaining gay AND "transexual", that is, self-mutilated/drugged "ministers".  In their condition, they can only be ministers of death, disease and damnation.  That the protestants are further down the rabbit hole of depravity than are Catholics is not surprising.  It is to the Roman Catholic Church that Our Lord has entrusted the fullness of the Faith.  However, we are not that far behind.

At Mass yesterday we heard a sermon on "mercy", in keeping with the "jubilee of mercy", no doubt.  While there was much talk of the joys of mercy, there was very little teaching on the requirements for receiving God's mercy.  Remember that this is the same parish where the woman loudly declared her support for sodomy.  The blogger at Boston Catholic Insider put up a piece recently entitled "The Error Of Preaching Mercy Without Repentance".  He/she articulated well what I was thinking yesterday.  Without understanding the seriousness of sin and the reality of hell, to which a person will go if they have one unrepented mortal sin on their soul at time of death, there will be no appreciation nor seeking of God's mercy through the sacrament of Confession.  Too often priests refuse to preach on the last four things, including hell.  They are too "politically correct" to name fornication, contraception, sodomy, etc as mortal sins that can damn a soul to hell for all eternity.  Thus they ill-serve their congregations, flowery "mercy" happy-talk notwithstanding.

Now let's address Our Lady of Fatima and her message.  We know that she asked that Russia be consecrated to her  Immaculate Heart by the Pope.  Let's be VERY CLEAR!  Our Lady took the trouble to specify RUSSIA!  Not "the world"!  Not "the universe"!  She, Our Lady, Queen of heaven and earth, specified "Russia"!  How dare anybody presume not to follow her lead in specifying Russia by name?  Is this really so complicated?  Our Lady left no "wiggle room" here!  Per her very clear instructions, Russia must be singled out for consecration.  Oh, it's very nice that the world was consecrated several times, but those consecrations were not done in conformity with Our Lady of Fatima's specific directions.

"But Sister Lucia said the consecration was done!", some might protest.  Oh, really??  Did she???  Please consider that we were told this "second-hand".  Now haven't we all seen enough of Vatican sleight-of-hands and machinations to be skeptical of anything we hear from that organization, especially when we know very well the instructions given to the three Fatima children?  Then folks might say "but look at Russia and how it seems to be returning to Christianity!"  That picture is not so rosy.  I direct your attention to the following video and urge us all to redouble our prayer efforts so that Russia will be consecrated to Our Lady's Immaculate Heart, per her specific instructions; else there will be judgment as opposed to mercy.

Our Lady Of America And Purity

Ladies and gentlemen, many of you know that I started this blog with the express purpose of exposing the progressive corruption that has infested the Roman Catholic Church and the culture at large.  The sickness is spiritual at its root.  While we speak and act, what we do must be founded upon and energized by the grace that comes to us through prayer, the Sacraments and intercession of the saints.

Our Blessed Mother is the intercessor par excellence.  Under her title Our Lady of Fatima she has continuously urged that we offer prayer - most notably the Rosary - for peace and conversion.  If you have not heard of Our Lady of America, please take note of her and her insistence upon purity and chastity as necessary conditions for restoration - both personal and societal.  I link now to the site of those championing this devotion and to a letter (as it appears on the EWTN site) by then-Archbishop Burke that detailed his review and favorable opinion of this devotion.

Our Lady Of Fatima Must Be Obeyed TO THE LETTER

I found this video online and believe it deserves consideration.  It's an interview of the late Fr. Malachi Martin.  Please note very carefully Our Lady's words, that Russia must be the object of papal consecration to her Immaculate Heart.  It never sufficed to have a blanket consecration of "the world".  Apologists for this approach can never seem to answer why the popes declined to specify Russia by name, as Our Lady requested.

Unless our pontiffs garner the courage and resolve to consecrate RUSSIA to her Immaculate Heart, they cannot claim to be obeying Our Lady of Fatima, purported quotes from the late Lucia Dos Santos not withstanding.  I too believe that grace departed our Church (although I don't believe that can happen in totality, owing to the sacraments and our Lord's promises), but much harm is being done and many souls are being damned.  That is why we must pray and receive the sacraments so that we can be channels of God's grace to our Church - and we must speak out to call our Church to repentance.

PS - The previous post shows just a few examples of what will continue to happen should Our Lady of Fatima continue to be disobeyed.

Faithful Catholics Wax Indignant At The SinNod's Interim Report

G. K. Chesterton once said "If the world grows to wordly, it can be expected to be rebuked by the Church; but if the Church becomes too worldly, It can be hardly expected to be rebuked by the world."  No, it can't, and these days it isn't.  On the heels of yesterday's disastrous relatio (due in part to the stacked committee engineered by the pope), the Human Rights Campaign released this

They are rejoicing and gloating over what seems to be transpiring at this SinNod.  They seem to have solid basis for their jubilation.

Many of us understand the trouble that document signals for the Church.  We bloggers made known our concerns yesterday, particularly with those passages that condone homosexual behaviors.  Today's Vortex shows Voris interviewing a panel of the clergy, including Archbishop Bruno Forte, whom many believe was instrumental in the writing of paragraphs 50-53.  I'll post the video now and below that, I'll have more news.



Cardinal Burke sharply criticized the document, stating that it's a "betrayal" that "faithful shepherds cannot accept".  He called upon Pope Francis to issue a statement defending true Catholic teaching on the various topics that were mangled in the relatio.  Bishop Rogelio Livieres also has some well-founded criticism of proceedings.  Cardinal Muller had some pointed language for the thing.

There is something else to consider, and I thank Chris Ferrera for pointing this out.  Yesterday, the date of the release of this relatio, was the anniversary of some key Divine interventions.  It was on this day that Pope Leo XIII had his vision of satan attacking the Church, prompting him to compose some remedial prayers to be prayed after every Mass; these prayers are called the Leonine prayers.  They were scuttled after Vatican II, although noting in the council documents so directed their abandonment.

It was also the 97th anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima.  To the three children Our Lady made plain that we must pray and repent else we will be judged.  Did we see some stark sign of that judgment issue forth from the Vatican?  I believe we did.

As we read the comments of Ferrara's piece, a reader points out another anniversary: that of Our Lady at Akita, where she warns of bishops being set against each other, and a strong exhortation to be faithful to the daily Rosary.  None of this is a coincidence.

Reparation Needed For Idolatry That Will Occur At Vatican Gardens On Pentecost Sunday

Let us speak plainly, shall we?  This supposed "prayer for peace" is an occasion for several serious sins.  "But it's for peace", some might whine?  What difference does that make?  The ends never justify means that are inherently evil.  Moreover, no real peace can occur when false idols (namely "allah") will be worshiped.

So right there we have a sin against the First Commandment.  The fact that it's to occur on Catholic grounds lends the aura of sacrilege to it.  Here's an article from Catholic Encyclopedia; pay attention to the section on "local sacrilege".

Ladies and gentlemen, fellow Catholics, reparation is needed.  Start now.  Today is First Saturday; if there's still time, make your confession and Mass and pray your Rosary, per the requests of Our Lady of Fatima.

Please pray tomorrow for forgiveness for what will happen on Pentecost Sunday.

UPDATE: I just read in Creative Minority Report that this is part of the Islamic screed prayer that will be uttered:   "...O You who know the unknown and the manifest, O Lord of everything and its sovereign, we testify that there is no god but You alone ..."  As the CMR commenter noted, this prayer is an outright contradiction of the truth that Jesus Christ is a Divine Person and the Second Person of the Holy Trinity.  And this is occurring on consecrated Catholic grounds???

Pope Francis To Consecrate World To The Immaculate Heart Of Mary

Tomorrow is the feast day of Our Lady of Fatima.  That Mass would be celebrated were tomorrow not Sunday.  The Holy Father will consecrate the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  I think it very good and pleasing to both Our Lord and Our Lady that this consecration is occurring.  However, one thing needs to be crystal clear.

What will happen tomorrow is not the fulfillment of Our Lady of Fatima's request, as relayed by the three children.  Our Lady of Fatima was very clear and specific.  There are two facets to her request for consecration that are, in some circles, deliberately obfuscated.  They are:

1. The request of Our Lady that Russia, by name, be consecrated to her Immaculate Heart
2. This consecration must be done in union with bishops of the world

Neither requirement has been met.  Many fault the various pontiffs for not mentioning Russia.  I myself was one of that number.  I'm beginning to believe though, that the stumbling block lies with the second facet.  If any of us has been paying attention to church affairs, we know that some bishops have been downright cantankerous regarding matters of fealty to the Holy Father and of Catholic spirituality.  Think "Bernardin, Weakland, Gumbleton", etc.  I think you get the picture.  Getting the current collection of bishops to unite in this consecration would be akin to herding cats - although I think the cats would be more reasonable to be frank.

This is pure conjecture on my part, but could it be that the pontiffs have demurred from mentioning Russia because they couldn't get the bishops to unite with them without causing a major ruckus?  Perhaps they didn't mention Russia as Our Lady requested to signal that they found it impossible to comply.

All this should do is cause each and every one of us to fulfill Our Lady of Fatima's request to the church at large: daily Rosary, scapular usage, First Saturday devotions.  These times demand it, if nothing else.

Homosexuals And Freemasons In The Church

Michael Voris's Mic'd Up, produced last week, was just released in youtube format yesterday.  In it he interviews Randy Engel, author of "Rite of Sodomy".  I'd suggest that you read this book.  By the way - what she has to say about the role of the USCCB is just one more in the litany of reasons why the USCCB needs to be scuttled - not "reformed" but utterly demolished.

In the second portion Voris interviews John Salza, a former 32nd degree mason who is now warning of the dangers of freemasonry.  Salza makes mention of the consecration of Russia that Our Lady of Fatima requested.  Let's be clear: the consecration of Russia, per Our Lady's specific request, has NOT happened!  There is a reputed quote from Sr Lucia that she conceded that Russia was consecrated.  We did not hear this from Sr Lucia herself and now we never will.  Frankly I don't believe that report of her statement.  Our Lady did not request that "the world" be consecrated, but that the Holy Father consecrate Russia - by name - and in union with all the bishops.  Now either they believe Our Lady of Fatima, or they don't!  If they do, why the foot-dragging when it comes to obeying her specific requests?

If We're Going To Pray For Peace In Syria

We need to keep some things in context.  While we are all watching the situation in the Middle East (and our rogue president's chest-thumping) with understandable trepidation, are we forgetting that every day we as a nation are guilty of the murder of 3500 innocent babies?

Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta said quite eloquently,  "I feel that the greatest destroyer of peace today in the world is abortion, because it is a war against the child – a direct killing of the innocent child – murder by the mother herself. And if we can accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?"  So many of us wax anxious about the state of affairs in Syria - as well we should.  We could very well be on the precipice of World War III.  However, we have grown "used to" the large-scale murders of thousands of babies every day.  Nowadays we're hearing of babies being discarded in dumpsters and flushed down toilets in the United States of America and then we claim to be shocked, just shocked, at weapons of mass destruction being used in the Middle East?  If we're so outraged about chemical warfare, why do we not ban the Pill, Plan B and all the other poisons routinely ingested by mothers to kill their infants?

I'll catch flak for saying this, but them's the breaks.  If you are not doing all that you can to end the slaughter known as abortion, then don't bother praying for peace in Syria or any other part of the world.  As long as our laws permit the slaughter of babies, there will be war.  In fact the slaughter of babies is war.  Oh, it might be all nice and neat and tucked away, but abortion has taken more human life than all the modern wars combined.  The war that we're seeing in Syria is just an outgrowth of the devaluing of human life.  With our morals at "barbarian" levels, we'll be seeing all sorts of strife pop up, even locally.

The Holy Father has asked us to make this Saturday, Sept 7, a day for prayer and fasting for peace.  Might I suggest that part of the prayer and fast be your public witness at your local abortion mill?  Offer a Rosary in front of your local baby-murder house.  It is also First Saturday; ask Our Lady of Fatima to intercede for peace - first in the womb, for if it doesn't exist there, it won't exist elsewhere.
