The Question Of Tubal Pregnancies

A kerfuffle between Eponymous Flower and Live Action has arisen over the release of this video by Life Action.  Here is the video and my commentary will follow.



I believe the doctor is incorrect in claiming that all ectopic pregnancies will prove to be fatal to the babies involved.  In fact, a number of the children survived.  She seems to be confusing the term "ectopic pregnancy" with "tubal pregnancy".  It is quite common to confuse the two.  While tubal pregnancies are ectopic pregnancies, not all ectopic pregnancies are tubal.  The term "ectoopic pregnancy" means that the baby has implanted elsewhere besides the normal uterine wall.  He/she can implant in the tubes, but can also implant outside the uterine wall.  As noted earlier, some of those do survive.  However, I have no knowledge of a tubal pregnancy being successfully carried to term.

The author of the EF piece commits the same error in terminology - and quite a few other errors besides.  Some of those errors are committed by commenters who support Ms. Swetz's position.  For instance, David Martin erroneously states:

Abortion defined is the artificial ejection of the living child from the woman's body, which is exactly what happens in the "treatment" of an ectopic pregnancy. Therefore, it is an abortion. Ectopic pregnancy diagnoses are often just fabrications and used as excuses to eliminate the innocent.

This "definition" is extremely sloppy.  Notice that his definition doesn't touch upon deliberated death.  It might be helpful to differentiate between spontaneous abortion, commonly called miscarriage versus induced abortion, that which many prolifers simply call abortion.  The person committing the abortion always has as his/her purpose the intention of destroying the child.

Commenters named "Kathleen 1031" and "Dymphna" (also commenters on this blog), along with Peter Watson and "Fatty" attempted to interject some valid considerations into the overly simplistic take of Ms Swetz and others.  For their efforts they (particularly Mr. Watson) were treated derisively.  But don't take my word for it.  Pop over there yourselves.

Father Reese Shills For Sex Abuse Cover-Ups

As we saw in the previous post, Father Thomas Reese and the administration of Georgetown University are shills for Planned Parenthood.  Reese complained about the reduction of federal funding for Planned Parenthood and the Georgetown Law School lauds them on their web pages (except when they are trying to hide that fact from us).  Recall several years ago when David Daleiden and his Center for Medical Progress uncovered the trafficking in baby body parts through his investigative reporting.  Now Lila Rose has released some interviews with former Planned Parenthood workers in which the latter detail the ways that Planned Parenthood management sought to evade the reporting requirements, essentially turning their backs on vulnerable and exploited young women.  Dare we opine that had Father Reese been privy to the skulduggery, that he too would have been all for the cover-ups?  So much for #metoo!


Click on the word "youtube" at the bottom right corner to be taken to the other videos to which Ms. Rose refers.  Now ask whether or not Reese et al are knowingly condoning the abuse of these young girls.  Unless they are complete dunces, the answer has to be "yes".

Disobedience To God's Laws Regarding Sex Leads To Violence And Pain

About 15 years ago I stumbled upon some tape series recorded by the late Father John Hardon, S.J.  He gave great talks about a variety of Catholic topics and expounded on Church teaching thoroughly.  One of those tape series is called "Catholic Sexual Morality".  I highly recommend this (and the other series of talks) that can be obtained through lifeeternal.org.

EWTN has a snippet of a talk that the late Jesuit gave a few years before his death.  I'll quote a piece of it now: "This professor told us that on many nights, the prisoners were so starved that they were unable to sleep, and so they would talk all night long. One of the subjects they probed was what made the Nazis so cruel. For months, he said, they discussed what could possibly make one human being SQ cruel to another, and finally they found the answer: Every single one of the guards was a sex pervert; there were no exceptions. The relationship between chastity — whose foundation is charity — and justice toward others, is a relationship of cause and effect. Every sexually perverse society becomes a society of murderers. There is no doubt about it."

What do we see now?  Mayhem in Missouri, newborns being left to die by their mothers, fathers brutally murdering their own babies (latest excuse - the infant boy peed on the dad while the diaper was being changed), "knock-out games", etc, etc.  Because we as a nation departed from God and His laws regarding sexuality and marriage, we as a nation have become a pack of murderous perverts and barbarians.

Live Action exposed Planned Parenthood openly advocating violent sexual perversions.  The fact that they believe the young girl is underage only exacerbates an already-horrible atrocity.  As you watch (and please don't let children watch with you), you'll hear this so-called "counselor" tell the young lady that it's perfectly fine to reduce herself to the status of a toy to satisfy the boyfriend's violent perverted fetishes.  How is this different from telling the girl to be a slave/wife to some jihadist animal who would subject her to Sharia law with its whippings, acid burns, etc?  Oh, it's "consensual"?  And what if she no longer "consents" while the boyfriend is riled up in a perverted frenzy?  Too bad, because he'll just carry it out and injure her, maybe even kill her.

But Planned Parenthood doesn't care.  Most likely they'll wind up pregnant and they'll come straight to Planned Parenthood to have their unborn child murdered.

If you want to stop this madness, please frequent the Sacraments and pray the Rosary.  Get yourselves in front of abortion centers and offer Christian witness.  Do NOT give to second collections that go towards CCHD and CRS (more about the latter later).  Now the video.

Father Guarnizo On The Situation In Ireland

On the site of Live Action appears an article penned by Father Marcel Guarnizo on the recent legal battles in the Irish Parliament.  In this article he refutes some misguided statements uttered by Austin Ruse.  I invite you to read it for yourselves.

As you read, recall that contraception is the "camel's nose under the tent".  We would not have had the Roe-v-Wade disaster if that had not been preceded by the Griswold-v-Connecticut disaster.  Even now some US pro-life leaders refuse to accept that.  Remember the Manhattan Declaration?  I've delved into its fatal flaw and why I could not sign it myself.  When will we learn??

Yesterday Live Action, Christian Defense Coalition, Students for Life and others rallied outside the Irish Embassy in Washington DC on behalf of our Irish compatriots who are struggling to keep their country abortion-free.  We join our Irish friends in prayer as we pray and work to end the bloodshed in our own country.

Meat In A Crock Pot??

That is how abortionist Leroy Carhart described a baby dying in utero (after the lethal injection) to a Live Action undercover investigator.  During the exchange he lied (of course) about Christin Gilbert and Jennifer Morbelli - two of the (known) women that died at his hand.  I'm presuming that this exchange occurred in Nebraska, as he suggests that the woman go to Maryland where the late-term procedures are legal.

I post the shorter video below.  The unedited one can be found here in two parts.  Leroy Carhart is being investigated in Maryland.  To be frank, it's rather apparent that the state of Maryland government, run by abortophiles, is dawdling and dragging its feet.  We need to keep them accountable and hold their feet to the fire.

They Won't Resuscitate

First, let's examine that word "resuscitate".  Verbs that start with the preface "re" usually connote the bringing back of the object to a former condition.  In this case it means to bring back from apparent death to live.  When the quack-doctor uses the word, she acknowledges that the baby was - and most likely is - alive during the abortion procedure.  She admits to the murder and her unwillingness to do anything to help the baby; I suppose that's redundant since she's doing all in her power to murder the child.

Infanticide In Washington DC

After hearing how some abortionists suggest flushing of babies down toilets, it is (sadly) no surprise to hear of similar situations coming from baby-killers from within the nation's capital.  Today Live Action released a video of a conversation with abortionist Cesare Santangelo of the Washington Surgi-Clinic (located at 2112 F St NW #400).  Lifesite News and the Washington Post both published pieces about this video; needless to say, their perspectives differ ever so slightly.

I direct your attention to the rally announcement to the right.  Lila Rose is one of the speakers.  The other, Melissa Ohden, started life as one of those "aborted fetuses" who survived her mother's abortion attempt and who would have been considered fair game for vultures such as Santangelo, Gosnell, Carhart and way too many others.

Flushing Babies Down The Sewer

For this abortuary worker at a New York City abortuary, that is a perfectly acceptable method of disposing of murdered babies who emerge at their mothers' homes.  You'll hear this worker casually give to Lila Rose this sage advise; her nonchalance can only stem from ignorance and/or callousness.

Before I post the video, I suggest you pay special attention at the 5:23 mark, where they discuss when it might be appropriate to call a hospital.  The worker states in no uncertain terms that she is NOT supposed to  do that.  Sound familiar?  Remember Jennifer Morbelli's death?  Carhart likewise instructed her family not to contact the hospital.  Only when he himself was incommunicado did the family finally contact Shady Grove Hospital; by that time it was too late.  Also, notice the first woman started at the age of 16 (or so she says).  Did the mill have her doing any unauthorized procedures as did Gosnell?

Unborn Baby Girls - In The Crosshairs In Hawaii

When Live Action's first expose came out regarding a Texas abortuary, Planned Parenthood tried to pass it off as one of their staff "not following policy".  Now that a fourth bunch of mills have been caught approving the murder of girls simply because they're girls, we don't hear such loud protestations of their feminism now, do we?  Click here if you can't see embedded video.

PRENDA Defeated - With A Surprise Twist AND Another LA Video

Although a majority of Representatives voted to pass the Prenatal Non-Discrimination Act, it did not achieve the two-thirds vote necessary for passage.  Here is the roll call.  Most of the Democrats opposed it and most of the Republicans supported it.  That's no surprise at all.

What is the surprise - and I hope an eye-opener - is one of the Republicans who opposed PRENDA.  That's Ron Paul, alright!  I hope this dispels forever the canard that he is 100% pro-life.

The Messiah Most Miserable made very clear his opposition to this bill that would have prevented abortions targeted at a specific race and gender.  In doing so, he and his lackeys made plain who is waging the real "war on women". 

What is another "non-surprise" is that another Planned Parenthood facility (this one in New York City) was caught by Live Action as facilitating the abortions of baby girls simply because they're girls!  Is that the real face of modern feminism?  Such seems to be the case.  I wonder if PP will try to make a "sacrificial scape-goat" out of this counselor?  Click here if you can't see embedded video.

Femicide - Courtesy Of Planned Parenthood

A few days ago in Des Moines IA, the Messiah Most Miserable had this to say about abortion and Planned Parenthood: "We don't need another political fight about ending women's right to choose or getting rid of Planned Parenthood."  Of course that was before the latest Planned Parenthood debacle was brought to light by Lila Rose and her Live Action group.

"Rebecca" was soon fired by that Planned Parenthood after the incident.  The left-leaning Media Matters has news of that, plus the usual progressive spin on the latest Planned Parenthood embarrassment.  Isn't it just adorable how they start off by calling Lila Rose "discredited"?  They don't say why!  I guess they hope that if they repeat that word "discredited" enough, folks will believe it (and some will, like good little lemmings).  Anyway, they fired "Rebecca" because she "did not follow our protocol for dealing with a highly unusual patient scenario."  Let me translate - Rebecca was fired "because she gave prima facie evidence to Lila Rose that Planned Parenthood really doesn't give a rat's rump about women."  Read closely the third paragraph of the Huffington quote.  Notice how they acknowledge that PP will perform sex-selection abortions?  Of course that means that mostly girls will be aborted.  Hence the term "femicide".

Along these lines, the House of Representatives will vote tomorrow on H.R. 3541, "Prenatal Non-Discrimination Act" (PRENDA).  Introduced by Congressman Trent Franks of Arizona, it would restrict sex-selection and race-selection abortions.  Abortion is targeted at minorities, per the diabolical purposes of PP's foundress, Margaret Sanger.  Pick up any phone book and notice the physical location of the abortion mills - in areas with high minority populations.

Planned Pickpockets And Mammograms? Not!

Do you remember how Cecile Richards shrieked about the poor women who'd be denied their mammograms, should Planned Parenthood be denied continued access to our wallets?  Well you'll be shocked - just shocked, I tell you - to learn that Planned Parenthood doesn't do mammograms! 

Check out this Brietbart report.  Abby Johnson revealed that while she directed a PP center, they didn't do mammograms.  Live Action did some investigative work and found that in 27 of our 50 states (make that "57", if you're an Obama-phile), the local PPs did not perform mammograms.  I already suspected that, when I went to the 16th Street Planned Parenthood in Washington DC.  On the front of their building they hanged a banner advertising all the lovely stuff they do.  Guess what was missing?  Yep!  Mammograms!  But you needn't believe me!  Go to the website and look at the offerings of the various locations.  At best, they provide mammogram referrals.  That's right!  The mammograms are done at other facilities, not Planned Parenthood.  Cecile Richards, in that clip on the Breitbart report, is not being truthful when she says that unless Planned Parenthood picks your pockets, women will be denied mammograms.  By the way - if you can't see embedded video on the Breitbart report, click here or here.

That being said, I'm happy to report that as of now, it looks like the GOP is going to stand firm this time.  Let's keep on encouraging them to do so.  I for one wouldn't think it a tragedy at all if the federal beheamoth was brought to a standstill for a few blessed days.

The Live Action Debate Goes On - But Why??

I posted yesterday about the rather strange debate encircling the Live Action stings of Planned Parenthood and whether or not the actors engaged in lying in the sinful sense.  Well, this debate still continues, with ever-so-scholarly criticisms being lobbed at Live Action.  I cannot help but suspect that George Soros and his hench-people are taking great delight as they watch these folks carry on and on.  By the way - my mention of George Soros is one key reason why I look askance upon this "theological debate".  As I mentioned in the last post (and in the comment sections of other blogs), I cannot help but think that the timing of all this theological hullabaloo, with the entrance of George Soros into the Live Action / Planned Parenthood saga, is more than just a coincidence.  Why just now are all these theologians getting all atwitter, when pro-lifers have been doing "stings" now for many years without the theologians uttering nary a peep?

The proceeds of this debate on one blog, as well as the comments therein, really reinforces my suspicions of subtle and nefarious agents in all this debate. 

Ethics Debate Around Lila Rose Stings of Planned Pimpdom

Within the past week, some debate has surfaced, among people whom I'm sure are well-intentioined on both sides (see here and here, for instance).  There are some who are concerned about the tactics employed by the Live Action team.  They argue, rightly, that the ends (exposing Planned Parenthood) do not justify the means (lying, sins against the Eighth Commandment).  I agree that the ends do not justify the means, but somewhere in that statement is an unspoken assumption that the means are inherently evil.  Of that I'm not at all certain.  I urge you to read the above links (and the material to which those articles link) for a taste of the thoughts expressed.

The main concern seems to be with the Eighth Commandment, and what the Catechism teaches about truth and our obligation to abide by it, as well as topics dealing with "mental reservation".  As I look in my copy of the Catechism, section 2483, it reads (and I'll add italics for emphasis), "Lying is the most direct offense against the truth.  To lie is to speak or act against the truth in order to lead into error someone who has the right to know the truth."  In the Live Action stings, we can ask who is that "someone" and what is the "truth" that they have a "right to know"?  I presume that the Live-Action naysayers are thinking of the Planned Parenthood workers as having this "right".  Why?  Now let's get real.  The actors were not leading the PP staff into error; those staffers were already in error by virtue of their voluntary employment with the largest abortion perpetrator around.  Now how exactly does the Eighth Commandment read?   It is Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.  That is the precise language of the commandment.  To my unlearned brain, that implies that in order for a violation of this command, that someone (thy neighbor) must be injured by this "false witness".  In the Live Action stings, precisely whom was being injured?

Here's an interesting little debate point, that I saw on Jill's blog regarding this topic.  For that you'll have to open your Bibles to the Book of Tobit.  It's the only book that features Saint Raphael the archangel.  Some may know that he was sent to assist the young Tobiah on his perilous errands.  So how does Raphael introduce himself to Tobiah and Tobit?  Look at Tobit 5:18, where Raphael says that he is "Azarias, the son of Ananias."  Obviously that is false - but did Raphael commit a sin by telling a falsehood?  Remember - Raphael is an angel!

I'm not going to rehash all the arguments here.  But I will raise two other points.  First, those criticising Live Action are doing only that - criticising.  They are suggesting no alternative courses of action.

The second, but more important point I raise is this.  Live Action has been engaged in this "undercover" work for some time.  So have other pro-life organizaions.  For instance, Mark Crutcher and his Life Dynamics have engaged in similar endeavors over the years.  However, it is only now, when Live Action has hit real paydirt, that all these theologians are getting their undies bunched over this.  Now I truly believe that their commitments to God and to the babies are impeccable - but could it be that they are being manipulated in ways unbeknownst to them?  Has anyone else noticed a strange, amazing coincidence?  And what might that be?  Well, the same time as these moral concerns are now just blowing up out of the woodwork, George Soros and his minions are rallying to Planned Parenthood's aid, lest the latter lose governmental funding.  What better way for someone like Soros to work - to slyly start some infighting, and all he has to do is sit back and snicker over the debacle.

Live Action, I stand with you.

IMPORTANT ACTION ITEM - Because Congress is readying to pass its funding bills, we need your calls/emails to go to your Congressional representatives to urge them to support H.R. 217, the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act.  We need to defund Planned Parenthood.  The organization http://www.exposeplannedparenthood.com/ has an email mechanism that will send that all-important email.

And now for the other related news.

Last week New Jersey Governor Chris Christie vetoed a bill that was presented to him to restore tax-payer funding of the state's Planned Parenthood.

It seems that the progressive power-brokers are circling their wagons around their premier abortion-flag-ship.  Moveon.org, that front-organization for George Soros, has sprung into action!  And what is their bold strategy?  They are scolding NPR, Wall Street Journal, etc for not attacking Live Action.  According to Lifesitenews, an email to The Hill instructed them to "take down the article unless they update it to include this source’s history of lying, doctoring video and using illegal means to obtain information."  My!  Can't you just hear The Godfather theme playing in the background?

"Planned Pimpdom" Operates In The Bronx (New York)

As you watch this latest Live Action episode, please take note of how PP says that all this lovely pimp protection can occur with entitlements, tax dollars.  So who foots that bill?  Well, one such involuntarily generous individual can be found staring at you in the mirror!  Unless the Obama Hell Scare bill is trashed in its entirety (USCCB - wake up!), more of our tax dollars will go towards the victimization of young girls.
