Pope Francis's Bad Examples (Intended Or Not) Continue To Emit Purification In The Church

A few weeks ago I wrote about the debacle that Pope Francis allowed, if not orchestrated, at the Vatican Gardens on Pentecost Sunday.  Well it seems that the fallout was rather immediate.  In a Catholic Church in Orlando, FL, also on Pentecost Sunday, two Muslim men were allowed to give their "reflections" - in place of the homily!  See this Zenit article.  I do believe that Father McNamara is incorrect, or simply trying to "save face" for the Holy Father.  Make no mistake about it; just as the Holy Father's disregard for Holy Thursday rubrics gave terrible example in giving priests and bishops anywhere the false notion that they could wash women's feet, so too did his allowance of blasphemy at the Vatican Gardens give the erroneous impression that they could let any Muslim strut and preach in Churches.  There's no gainsaying that.

Moreover, my blogging colleagues Eponymous Flower and Rorate Caeli have other posts that vocalize what many of us are sensing: that traditional reverence in the Catholic Church is regarded with suspicion if not outright contempt.  Again, this seems to be occurring with the permission and possible orchestration of the highest offices in the Vatican.

Let's be very clear about something.  We have been promised by Our Lord that the Holy Father will never solemnly promulgate error as sacred dogma.  However - we have been promised nothing more in regards to proceeds from the Vatican.  We need to keep our eyes wide open, to expunge from our thinking any hint of naivete regarding these matters.  Otherwise, how else can we pray intelligently for His Holiness?

Video Of Pope Leo XIII

This is the earliest recording of a pontiff.  Taken in 1896, this takes place in the Vatican Gardens.  What you hear is the pope chanting the Ave Maria.  It was Pope Leo XIII who composed the Prayer to St. Michael and the other prayers that at one time were prayed after Low Masses prior to Vatican II.

Pope Leo XIII - Oldest Vatican Film (Rome, 1896)
Pope Leo XIII in the Vatican Gardens in 1896. This is the oldest known video footage of a Pope and the oldest Italian film in existence. Pope Leo XIII chanting Ave Maria in Latin is the oldest known audio recording of a Pope (Rome, 1903)."Sua Santità papa Leone XIII" è un film del 1896. Oltre ad essere il primo filmato in cui compare un papa è anche la più antica pellicola italiana tuttora esistente. Leone XIII recitando l'Ave Maria in latino è la più antica registrazione della voce di un papa (Roma, 1903).

More Filth In The Vatican This Week

It's been a very busy week when it comes to papal insults to the Faith and Our Lord within the Vatican.

On Oct 11th, in St Peter's Square, Pope Leo XIV had this to say about a priest who is long-deceased: "Don Lorenzo Milani, prophet of the Tuscan and Italian Church.."  He lionized a pervert and no one can deny his knowledge of the priest's self-documented fantasies of raping boys.

It has also been announced that when King Charles III of England visits, the pope will grant him a permanent chair in the Vatican Basilica.  What's the big deal?  As king of England, Charles is head of the Anglican Church - a heretical sect that has sent thousands of Catholics to the gallows and worse during its early days, seizing their churches and properties.  All the medieval churches that pepper England were built by Catholics and stolen by Anglicans.  The pope, by this so-called "ecumenical" gesture, has just spit on the graves of St Thomas More, St John Fisher, the 40 Martyrs and countless other Catholics whose blood was shed by Henry VIII, Elizabeth I and so on.

Similarly, all the Christians who were slaughtered for their fidelity to Jesus were mocked when the pope granted Muslim scholars a dedicated prayer room inside the Vatican library.  Does the pope really think that the muslims are grateful?  They are snickering at the obvious victory they just won.  I hope the pope is simply grossly naive about this, but I think he knows very well what he's doing.

Along those lines, what's next?  Will we see satanists being granted their own room in the Vatican?  Why not?  Precedent was set when Francis allowed the pachamama to be worshipped in the Vatican gardens and when he placed a pachamama plant on the altar in St. Peter's Basilica.

And the pope and his cronies think the Latin Mass is the problem?  Well, yes.  Look at what they are trying to do.  The Latin Mass is hindering their evil purposes.

By the way - Archbishop Vigano had some choice - and true - words regarding the hob-nobbing of the pope with Charles.  Our Lord Himself is being cast out of the Vatican in favor of the pagans and heretics.

I've Heard Of Soul On Ice - But This Is Ridiculous!

Remember when Earth First put this farce before us almost twenty years ago?

At that point, I thought nothing could get more silly with these envirowhackos.  Once again, I am reminded how they can plunge to greater depths of inanity and mental vacuity.  In the name of "climate change, Pope Leo XIV blessed an oversized ice block!  This was done at some "raising hope for climate justice" gabfest at Castel Gandolfo.  Apparently the water is supposed to bless and heal us as it melts, dribbles all over the place and makes a soggy mess.  After all, creation awaits our conversion, you know.  Well, how about converting to the One True Faith and to make it our mission to get to heaven?  A quick review of the Baltimore Catechism should clear up any questions on that point.

After the pope was finished, a long blue cloth was passed through the audience and participants flapped and waved it as a hymn was sung, honoring...(wait for it!) Laudato Si!  What else?  I read several posts about this embarrassment to the Catholic faith, and one sage individual said that this blessed-ice-block business was quite reminiscent  of the pachamama debacle in the Vatican gardens.  Truly it was a gross display of idolatrous virtue-signaling, but I'm at a loss to determine what virtue was signaled.

During that same gabfest, Leo went on to criticize common-sense people as those who have "chosen to deride the increasingly evident signs of global warming..."  Well, count me as one of them.  When ice cubes are "blessed" and people sing about "climate change", that makes evident that for too many in the Church, apparently including this pope, that environmentalism is becoming a de facto religion.  This is idolatry, sin against the First Commandment, just as was the pachamama in the Vatican gardens and even in St Peter's Basilica.

By the way, how did the participants travel to this "raising hope" farce?  How many private jets flew in for this thing?  I'm sure they didn't come by horses or sail boats!

By the bye - remember Cool Hand Luke?  How about..Cold Hand Leo?

Abominations Welcomed Into The Church - What Will Be Our Response?

For Biblical context in what you're about to read, visit this site.  What is happening in the Church under this most questionable pontificate is alarming.  These incidents are happening at an ever increasing frequency.

We saw the sin-nod "fathers" (at least those in high places) attempt to render irrelevant the teachings of Jesus Christ regarding marriage by means of false "praxis".  Earlier the pope allowed blasphemy in the Vatican gardens by allowing a muslim to pray to "allah" therein.  Last week the Vatican joined the Lutherans in celebrating "reformation day"; in other words, the Vatican celebrated the sins of apostasy and blasphemy. Given the current trajectory of things, I wonder when the Vatican will get around to celebrating the day Adam and Eve ate the apple.

But since the Vatican has celebrated apostasy, they now seem to be concerned about being "equal opportunity heresy enablers".  This past weekend the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialog (so many sins being committed in the name of "dialog") sent a message to the Hindus to congratulate them as they celebrate Deepavali.  This so-called "pontifical council" hopes they'll "experience happiness and harmony" through their idolatry.  As you read that link, you'll notice not one mention of Jesus Christ or the necessity to be converted to the One True Faith, for only that will lead to "happiness and harmony" due to worshiping the One True God.  Speaking of the necessity for conversion to Jesus Christ, we pray that the members of that Pontifical Council undergo that conversion themselves.

Given that the Vatican just affirmed the Hindus in their idolatry, what you'll see next cannot be too surprising although it should cause outrage.  In the first paragraph you read about abominations being established in the sanctuary.   That is precisely what happened at Our Savior Parish in Manhattan.  The video indicates that this happened in September, when Hare Krishnas (an offshoot of Hinduism) conducted one of their idolatrous rituals (called kirtan) in the sanctuary of the Church.  I cannot tell whether or not the Blessed Sacrament was still present.  Here is the video but below that is more commentary.

What troubles me almost as much as the sacrilege itself is the nonchalance of the parishioners in the pews.  I would hope at the very least some of them would have walked out.  The rest, by their silent audience, gave to the idolaters their tacit approval.

Perhaps we need to think these matters through, lest we be caught unprepared should this (or something similar) happen in our own Churches.  Would we walk out?  Would we attempt to prevent the blasphemy and idolatry, disrupting the satanic rituals if need be?  We may well face these unpleasant choices and we must be prepared to act.

Pope To Allow Islamic Prayer At Vatican This Sunday

This Sunday, June 8, Pope Francis will allow Islamic "prayer" and reading of Quarn at the Vatican Gardens.  He is allowing it (if he didn't outright initiate it) in a misguided quest for "peace".  It is the first time in the history of the Vatican that this has ever been done.  See here, here, here and here.

So it's never been done before?  Has it occurred to His Holiness and his handlers it has never happened before for good reason?   Let's be real.  The only way real, lasting peace has any chance of occurring is if the world (or the great majority of folks) becomes Catholic.  There never will be peace in the world until all come to peace with God; that won't happen without coming to Jesus through His Church.  I know this sounds "intolerant" and it certainly isn't politically correct, but only the truth will set us free.

Instead of the pure proclamation of the Gospel, however, the sacred Vatican grounds will be profaned by unabashed exercises of idolatry.  What a way to make a mockery of the Solemnity of Pentecost.  I'm utterly aghast at the rank stupidity issuing forth from the Vatican these days - and the buck stops with the Holy Father.  Let us pray for a real outpouring of the Holy Spirit on our shepherds so that they proclaim the Gospel and make no allowance for error - especially on Catholic property.

Pope Francis, Ecumenicide Is Poison Against The Path Of Salvation

That is what he should have told that poor little girl when she and other Lutherans visited Rome a few days ago.  The question she asked of him is how she should convince non-Christian friends of her faith.  He replied, "What should I tell them to convince them? Listen, the last thing you should do is ‘tell’."  There are so, so many things wrong with this statement.
  • He contradicts Jesus Christ Himself when He commanded His disciples to preach the Gospel and to teach them all that He had taught them.  That sounds like a bit of "telling".
  • He led a young child astray.  Far from being encouraged to share her faith, He told her to remain silent and perhaps caused her to doubt her own faith with its demands to proclaim the Gospel.
  • The context of the story indicates that the child herself might have been Lutheran.  There is not one indication that the pope pointed her to the One True Faith.  More on that later.
He misquotes Matthew 25 by ascribing to Jesus these words: "Beware the leaven of hypocrisy".  These words are not to be found anywhere.  Oh, Jesus does have rebukes for hypocrites, but this quote simply doesn't exist.  If Scripture is to be cited for certain phrases, one should ensure that the quote is accurate and can be corroborated.  Else, one may fall into the danger of ascribing to his/her own ideas the authority of Scripture.

In Matthew 7:7-9, Jesus, in teaching of prayer, asks what father among His listeners would hand to his children snakes and scorpions when asked for food.  Yet snakes and scorpions were given to this child as she asked the pope for guidance.  This is quite reminiscent of the false guidance that the pope gave to his friend the late Tony Palmer.  The latter wanted to convert to Catholicism and the pope dissuaded him; in fact, the pope combated the work of the Holy Spirit as Our Lord was moving him to become Catholic.  An analogy that comes to mind is a drowning person begging for a life preserver and the lifeguard tosses him an obviously leaky one.

In two weeks the pope will be traveling to Switzerland to "commemorate" the 500th anniversary of the "Lutheran Reformation".  Since when does one "commemorate" a horrible sin?  Given the other remarks he made during that audience, it is clear that he really intends to celebrate the ripping asunder of the Church and the resultant damnation of souls.  What is also appalling is that the group gave him a gift - a bound copy of Luther's 95 Theses - the beginning of his heresies.  The pope accepted this replica of Luther's slap in the face to the Church.

It is reported that at that meeting with the Lutherans, in that room was a statue of Martin Luther - made of chocolate (I kid you not!).  Why would any kind of statue of a heretic ever be found in the Vatican?  When will we see a chocolate Hitler?  How about a chocolate Margaret Sanger?  Since the Vatican is in Rome, perhaps a chocolate Nero or Caligula would be fitting, right?

With this abomination in the Vatican, along with beach balls on sacred altars and muslims praying to their demon-gods in the Vatican Gardens, this pope has allowed filth to pollute places dedicated to Our Lord Jesus Christ.  More troublesome is the scandal being caused to those who would seek out the Vicar of Christ for guidance - as did that little girl.  Didn't Our Lord say something about millstones being tied around the necks of those who cause scandal?  Pray for our pope that he'll turn around before more souls are steered towards hell.

The Attempt To Replace The Faith With Paganism - A Key Purpose Of This Amazon Synod

Stop the presses!  The pope has written a new book!  What can the topic of this book possibly be?  Did he write on the Last Four Things?  With Christmas coming, is he offering meditations on the Incarnation or perhaps the Holy Family?  Maybe he is explaining why the Roman Catholic Church is the One True Church?

Oh, silly us for holding such hopes!

The title of this pontifical work is (trumpets and drum roll please!) - Our Mother Earth!

As you can see from that link, the announcement is not a joke, although the book itself most likely is.  I wonder how many times the word "Jesus" will be mentioned therein; they probably can be counted on one hand.  The pope and his vatican henchmen are seeking to establish an earth-worship, pantheistic paganism and to portray Jesus as being merely on par with His Creation.  They aren't even trying to camouflage their intentions any longer, yet some still deny what is plain as the noses on their faces.

In previous posts you have seen the pagan idol worship in the Vatican gardens.  The false idols have now been taken into St Peter's Basilica where more sacrilege is occurring - with even the pope participating.  See the LifeSiteNews video below.

I realize these matters are distressing to contemplate, but that is the state of affairs with the Church today.  With many of the US bishops being on board with this apostasy, (and all signs indicate that the DC archbishop is one of them) we have to be informed and prepared in order to pray intelligently.  We may even need to consider some practical resistance, should affairs deteriorate.

From The Ecumenicide Department - Is The Vatican Trying To Thrust On Us A One-World Religion Of Humanism?

I don't know what else to make of recent events.  Last summer the Holy Father proposed a 10-point plan for happiness: a plan that didn't once mention the word "God".  The SinNod that happened last October bore evidence of high church officials trying to compromise the Church's moral teachings regarding sexuality, marriage and family life.  He urged protestant Tony Palmer not to convert to Catholicism when the latter expressed that desire.  On Pentecost Sunday the Holy Father allowed a Muslim to utter idolatrous islamic "prayer" in the Vatican Gardens.

Today, during his visit to Turkey, Pope Francis went to the Blue Mosque and prayed in it with the Grand Mufti and did so while facing Mecca.  He then asked the Mufti to pray for him.  Knowing that the Mufti would do obeisance to a false idol, what benefit did he think he'd acquire from such idol worship?  Has he been listening too much to Cardinal McCarrick?  It is said that he wants "dialogue" to combat "fanaticism and fundamentalism".  Can he really be that naive?  Once again, the Church is about the business of saving souls, not combating "fanaticism and fundamentalism".  That means proclaiming the Gospel and the teachings of the Church, not praying to false idols.

In 1928 Pope Pius XI released his encyclical Mortalium Animos.  In it Pope Pius wrote about religious unity and the fact that true unity can only be obtained when the world converts to the one truth Roman Catholic Faith.  Until then, no Catholic is to engage in any pretense of a premature unity.  In that encyclical, it is clear that Pope Pius is condemning false unity with protestants.  These words still bind on us.  If they bind on us with regards to protestants, how much more do they do so with regards to those whose very quaran evinces hatred of Christians?

I for one look upon this incident in the Blue Mosque with much regret.

What Price Are We Willing To Pay To Defend The Faith?

Two days ago an article was published by Sandro Magister indicating that the pope was exploring the possibility of opening Holy Communion to Protestants.  Of course that possibility does not exist unless one is talking of turning a blind eye to sacrilegious Holy Communion.  However since that was explicitly done in Amoris Laetitia (or more accurately, Amoralis Lamentia) in regards to unrepentant adulterers being admitted to Holy Communion, there's no reason to doubt that he just might be mulling that additional sacrilege in his mind.

So what would be next?  Would we see Jewish rabbis with yarmulkes and Buddhist monks in robes in line to receive Holy Communion?  How about Muslim imams?  They did, after all, utter prayers to their false idols in the Vatican gardens.  Perhaps we'll see wiccans and "church of satan" devotees receiving (hopefully not to blaspheme the Host later).  Why not?  It seems like anything goes these days.  Granted many of these would not receive as their own creeds would forbid it, but why would we even welcome the possibility?

Couple this now with an article that was published on the site that I call Crud.  As far as this particular article goes, I've no reason to question its factual accuracy, given other things that have spewed forth from the Vatican lately.  We "ultra-conservatives" and "pelagians" find many causes for concern, as any reader of this (and many other) blogs have noticed during the past few years.  He knows of our concerns for the Faith and the multitude of souls that will languish in hell if they don't receive the fullness of teaching and truth that Jesus literally died to have extended to them.  Yet he is dismissive of them.  That brings me to the points in the next paragraph.

Three months ago I put forth a suggestion that we lay Catholics might need to resist these insults to Our Lord.  I think we need to revisit this matter.  About fourteen years ago some Catholic men organized "ushers of the Eucharist" to physically prevent sacrilegious Holy Communion by gay activists.  I haven't heard from this group since, but I believe this concept bears some exploration and even implementation.  Too many progressives are quite comfortable in putting forth blasphemies and heresies, believing that we are too uncomfortable to confront them.  Only we can end that by stepping out of our comfort zones.  Will there be a price to pay for doing so?  Yes, but that won't be as costly as the price we'll pay if we let the progressives go unchallenged and without resistance.

Now.. Will we have the courage to do so, especially as we know it will be a long and arduous struggle?

Vatican Abominations Foster DC Catholic School Abominations

Many remember that young gal who stood up at an AOC rally recently and who proclaimed that in the interests of "saving the planet", we need to start "eating babies".  While there is now talk that this gal may have been a plant by a fringe group run by Lyndon LaRouche, it is undeniable that AOC actually agreed with the gal's premise that the planet's future is in danger.  While the rest of the audience evinced some shock at the gal's remarks, AOC herself never denounced them.  She merely said that there are other means to advance envirowhackoism (although my phrasology wasn't hers').

Sounds far-fetched?  Consider that in a Stockholm summit last week, Swedish scientist Magnus Soderlund proposed that eating human flesh might be able to save the human race from climate change.  He then went on to complain about "conservative taboos", stating that we rubes might be "too selfish to live sustainably".

Now I link to a post I did three years ago on envirowackoism in the Church.  In that article is a link to a video done by Michael Voris that exposes how environmentalism has anti-life and idolatrous underpinnings.  Now I will link to another of my posts that features a light-show abomination played on the walls of St Peter's Basilica.  Remember that?  The purpose of that descecration was to usher in that "year of mercy".

Now consider what happened in the Vatican gardens yesterday, with that undisguised idol worship, witnessed and approved by the pope.  Consider it especially in the context of what I mentioned in the preceding paragraphs.   Now bear in mind some of the virulent anti-life proponents invited to this Sham-azon Sin-nod  The Church will be injected with idolatrous anti-life poisons to its most likely deformation.

Meanwhile, back in the Archdiocese of Washington, local Catholics are being brainwashed prepared for this "newness of the Spirit".  Poor pope!  Someone forgot to remind him that the Spirit, being the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity, is eternal and perfect. He cannot change.  The commands He issued hundreds of years ago likewise will not change.

The "preparation" is evident in the October 3rd edition of the Catholic Standard and (from the little Spanish that I know) its sister publication, El Pregonero.  By the way; there is a lot of lunacy in this issue of the Standard, but I'll deal with that in another post.  Here we see the Catholic Standard waxing chipper about local Catholic school students participating in the September 20th Climate Strike.   A teacher from St Elizabeth Seton High School is quoted as saying that they were "following the pope's example".  He's quite correct on that; the problem is that the pope's example is horrible.   Will they soon be kneeling before pagan idols in the school auditorium?  But I digress.

The students chanted the usual banal slogans.  Did they think about what they were doing?  For instance, Florence Kane from Georgetown Visitation wore a T-shirt that said "No More Fossil Fuels".  Is Ms. Kane accordingly prepared to give up any idea of owning a car?  Then there's this gem: "Hey hey, ho ho, climate change has got to go".  So change of seasons is now evil?   They also had to endure listen to Greta Thunberg, the rather loud Swedsh teen who is being exploited by the "climate change" junk-science proponents; in doing so, they only enabled her exploiters.

Now let's take a look at that outfit behind the September 20th escapade.  Of course they have a list of partners.  On that list you can find all manners of Soros-funded and/or Alinsky-originated leftist outfits.  Many of those support the gay agenda and the abortion agenda.  But speaking of the latter, recall the Swedish scientist Soderlund who proposes the eating of human flesh.

The article ends with the kids declaring themselves to be the "Laudato Si generation".  What's wrong with being faithful Catholics? We are mindful of our duties to be faithful stewards of creation, but we also recognize that creation exists in service of mankind, not as a peer of mankind.  The parents of all these hoodwinked students should be outraged that their students were gyped out of a day's worth of actual schooling so that they could be used as agitprops for an earth-worship, socialist-driven agenda.  The teachers of those schools and the staff of the Standard should hang their heads in shame for promoting such drivel and being puppets of those progressives.

Witchcraft, Islam And Humanism - De Facto Creeds Of The New Age

This post regarding these three popular manifestations of idolatry appeared a few days ago and it provides much food for thought.  I'd go a bit further than the author does.  He merely says that these idols are merely filling in a vacuum being left by a dying and shriveling church.  I, however, believe that the church isn't merely making way for these, but actively ushering them to places of prominence.  Witness the "poop video" in the post previous to this one.

Another very recent manifestation seems to come from a most surprising source - the canonization of Mother Teresa.  There is no doubt that she and her sisters spent their lives in heroic service to many destitute people and not too many of us can forget the truth she spoke to power at the 1994 prayer breakfast.  But there were troubling signs of indifferentism throughout her writings, at least in the early days.  There is this quote from A Simple Path: "I’ve always said that we should help a Hindu become a better Hindu, a Muslim become a better Muslim, a Catholic become a better Catholic."  We know that the only way a Hindu, Muslim or anyone else can become "better" is to embrace the One True Faith, not to become further entrenched in their false religions.  The Bellarmine Forum carries an article about the relationship between Mother Teresa and Father John Hardon.  While it rightly praises Mother's many virtues, we see starting in the second paragraph testament to her unwillingness to teach the creeds of the Faith, saying "her sisters were there to help the poor".  So the imparting of the Faith would not have assisted the poor?  But Father was there, at the behest of Pope John Paul II, to equip the sisters to engage in that aspect of charity and I believe that they did.  But did Mother ever walk back that statement as quoted from A Simple Path?

It does seem that at least in the first stage of the ministry of the Missionaries of Mercy, Mother Teresa was content to focus on the Corporal Works of Mercy to the exclusion of the Spiritual Works of Mercy.  I'll now link to an article by Msgr Charles Pope, written over a year ago, entitled "What Ever Happened To The Spiritual Works Of Mercy?"  It is worth careful study, as are the comments below.  I truly am glad that Pope John Paul II, through Father Hardon, corrected that short-coming in the Missionaries of Mercy.

Let's move onto Islam.  I'll now post an account of an interview granted by Cardinal Burke.  In that interview, His Eminence states that the belief that Christians and muslims worship the same god stems from relativism.  It might be indifferentism, too, such as the one seen Mother Teresa's quote in A Simple Path.  It is quite blasphemous to state that those who behead babies, stone rape victims, engage in terrorist bombings by using their own children, etc, etc, in the name of their god, somehow worship the One, True God.  Yet that is what progressive church leaders thrust down our throats, as our post-Christian culture makes ever-increasing concessions to muslims while treating Christians - particularly faithful Catholics - as de facto "niggers of the new age".

Again we see the Church hierarchy welcoming in this heresy, not only in the misguided indifferentism rightly condemned by Cardinal Burke, but also in troubling actions by Pope Francis.  Recall his allowance of muslim prayers to the false "allah" idol within the Vatican gardens and his washing of the feet of muslims during Holy Thursday services.

These embraces of both humanism and indifferentism by progressives in the Church not only facilitate cultural suicide, but also facilitate the damnation of immortal souls by holding up to them lies as though they were truths.

No Roman Catholic Church, No Jesus

In today's Vortex, Michael Voris is offering commentary on an address given by Pope Francis this past Wednesday.  Father Zuhlsdorf also offered some commentary.  There's no gainsaying that only the Roman Catholic Church has the fullness of God's revelation and the sacraments.  I thank His Holiness for stating that quite clearly.  I would only wish he could have been so clear when it came to that debacle in the Vatican Gardens a few weeks ago.

Pope Francis Is Dead

Less than three weeks after the passing of his former ally, Ted McCarrick, Pope Francis has gone to his reward, such as that reward might be.  I would suggest that we pray that God had mercy on him and granted him the grace of final repentance; else, his eternity doesn't look too promising.

Francis' chequered legacy includes (but is not limited to) these:

  • the pachamama idol worship in the Vatican gardens and St Peter's Basilica
  • dismissing the pro-life champions in the Pontifical Academy for Life and replacing them with pro-aborts
  • issuing Amoris Laetitia that calls for admittance of active adulterers to Holy Communion
  • contradicting Tradition regarding the death penalty
  • hob-nobbing with abortionist Emma Bonino
  • dissuaded Tony Palmer, a protestant official, from converting to Catholicism when the latter expressed his wish to do so.
  • his vendetta against the Traditional Latin Mass, in direct disobedience to the Papal Bull, Quo Primum
I have a whole anthology of misdeeds of Francis', as do others.  I cannot list them all, as I lack both time and space.

In a few weeks' time, the process for selecting a new pope will begin.  Starting right now, we need to beg God to give to the Church a truly Catholic and capable pope, one who is "wise as a serpent and innocent as a dove" (Matt 10:16).  Ask God to give us a pope that we need, not what we deserve.

If you are not yet in the habit of praying a daily Rosary, now is a good time to start.

Nature Throws Temper Tantrums

A temper tantrum.  Yes, Pope Francis chalked up the covid-19 outbreak to a "temper tantrum" - his words - that nature is throwing so that we "will take care of her".  How in hades does he make up this crap?  Understand that in this gibberish, he is personifying nature by ascribing to it irascibility.

Let's remember what the Amazon Synod, and in fact most synods and all those meetings with Jeffrey Sachs et al were all about.  They were about establishing the de facto religion of earth-worship.  That was a big impetus in defiling Churches in Rome along with the open worship of the pachamama idols in the  Vatican gardens, with the pope in attendance. I and many others believe that this covid-19 pandemic is nothing less than a Divine chastisement for our many sins against Him - idolatreis, blasphemies, baby-slaughter, the elevation of homosexual perversions, etc.  Let's recall that the pachamama disaster happened in Italy, and the greatest number of casualties are in Italy.

However, instead of repenance, the world and the Church are doubling down on sinful conduct.  At a time when they should be multiplying Masses and allowing for greater access to the Sacraments, our bishops are restricting access to the sacraments and even eliminating them, going so far as to shutter the Churches.  In their claim to be acting out of concern for public safety, they cut off the prime source of God's grace, heaping more disrespect upon God.  I salute those dedicated priests who are having to work around various strictures laid upon them by their errant bishops (drive-through confessions, drive-up exposition of Blessed Sacrament, etc).  At any rate, pachamama isn't the only occasion for idolatry.  We now have "public safety", "compliance with authority" (even when that authority goes outside its own constitutional bounds), etc.  Yes, for too many - even for otherwise faithful Catholics - public safety, good in and of itself, has been made into an idol.

Listen now to the words of Archbishop Lenga of Poland.  Growing up in Poland, this prelate knows a thing or two about living under a tyranny and the perils of subjugating the One True Faith to the dictates of secular powers-that-be.

A Cult Of Witchcraft, Liberation Theology, And Environmentlism

That seems to be the goal that Pope Francis and his sin-nod henchmen seem to have for the Catholic Church.  They are trying to beat the Church into becoming an apostate coven.

Today it was announced that the progressive Ford Foundation is funding one of the organizers of the Amazon Synod.  I leave you to study the link, although we can safely say that the Ford Foundation only ponied over the $2 million because they know that this synod will further their pro-abortion and pro-gay agenda.

Besides the Ford Foundation, another group that is supportive of the synod is a bunch of Italian wiccans.  They have waxed lyrical about the pagan ritual in the Vatican gardens and the profanation of the following Mass.  From their warped perspectives they do have reason for gloating.

It is increasingly clear for anyone with a functioning ear and/or eyeball that there is an overt attempt to twist the Church into a conduit for the progressive "new world order" mentality.  Recall the pope telling us that we had to "obey the United Nations".  In addition to prayer, we must also be contemplating practical strategies for resistance in case the apostasy manifests itself in our parishes.

No Wonder Progressives Rail Against The Death Penalty!

A few days ago I put up a post containing Taylor Marshall's commentary about the perversion that a priest committed atop the altar of his parish church, in effect desecrating it with his gross sacrilege.  Taylor mentions that the altar is symbolic of Christ Himself; that is why there are five crosses carved into each Catholic altar.  He noted that in more sane and reverent times, such deliberate desecration and sacrilege would have garnered the death penalty for the perpetrator.

He said this in passing, and I was prepared to let it remain a lesser point.  However, this is NOT the first time that a Catholic altar was desecrated - not so much with sexual perversion as with rank idolatry.  I remind you of this outrage, right after the pachamama idols were tossed in the Tiber.  This detailed what happened during the closing Mass of that climate-change gabfest during which the pachamamas desecrated the Vatican gardens and several Catholic churhes before being hurled into the Tiber.  As you watch the video of the Mass, take notice of how many times the camera zooms onto that plant.  Then the plant is placed on the altar in direct disobedience to the GIRM.  Take note particularly from 55:38 to 56:20.  Recall from the previous paragraph that any Catholic altar is representative of Christ Himself - and that defilements of said altars at one time were punished via the death penalty.

I'm going to link now to an article in Catholic World Report, where the author directs three questions to opponents of the death penalty.  These questions, in my opinion, reduce to shreds any attempt to vilify the death penalty.  But have you noticed that among death penalty opponents are all proponents of abortion, gay perversions along with heretics and those who blaspheme and commit vile sacriledge?  One might ask why, but I think the answer to that is quite obvious; they know that in a saner time, they themselves would be eligible for capital punishment.  Let us pray that these people come quickly to repentance.

Vortex - Last Installment Of The Sixty Issues The Church Leadership Refuses To Address

In light of the travesty that will occur in the Vatican Gardens (or maybe has occurred, depending on when you see this), pay special attention to #51: "lack of precision regarding Islam worshiping of 'the same God'".  This one is very appropriate today and needs to be taken most seriously.

In The Face Of God's Obvious Punishment, Pope Francis And Many Bishops Continue Their Attacks On The Faith

Today John-Henry Westen of LifeSiteNews published an article and released a podcast exploring Pope Francis' probable responsibility for the chastisement of the Corona virus.  There is an element of culpability for the whole of civilization, that is, each and every one of us, for this chastisement and others.  We as a society mock God in increasingly brazen manners.  Our society has decreed that the slaughter of babies, far from being condemned and punished, should be celebrated and financed by one and all.  All manners of sexual perversion and attacks upon marriage are codified in laws throughout the world, with punishments against those speaking truth to these sins likewise being mandated.

I could go on and on about the sorry litany of outrages against Our Lord, but you get the picture.  While we all bear responsibility to greater or lesser degrees, the greatest culpability can be ascribed to the Successors to the Apostles, who by dint of their sacerdotal offices, have the graces to know better and to do better.  However, we see them - including Pope Francis - literally leading the charge into hell.  It's really no coincidence that the corona virus struck just months after the pope facilitated the sacrilegious worship of the pachamama demon-bauble within the Vatican gardens and St Peter's itself.

As we look at the question asked in the first meme, God-fearing people know the answer is obvious.  Of course He is.  The problem is that too many, particularly our bishops and the pope, remain stubbornly obtuse and are even doubling down on their diabolical endeavors.  Yesterday, Cardinal Gregory of the Archdiocese of Washington issued a directive to his priests forbidding them to grant letters of exemption to those who are resisting the various witches' brews being foisted upon us.  If that link no longer works, please advise for I have downloaded it.  It takes depravity to a new low, not to allow the faithful to opt out of a concoction that is inherently sinful in its creation.  To whom do Gregory and the pope really answer?

The pope, too, doubles down on the deconstruction of the Faith.  Recall that he is actively attempting to destroy the Traditional Latin Mass, the Mass that played a major role in the lives of so many saints through the centuries.  I would think this despicable attempt might bring down more judgment upon not only him but us all.

Please be praying your daily Rosaries and stay in the state of grace.  Our Lady promised that in the end her Immaculate Heart would triumph, but between then and now there will be much suffering.

Michael Voris - Doubling Down On Denial Of Serious Papal Problems

Generally I've found Michael Voris and his Church Militant TV apostolate to be very informative and helpful through the years - particularly the Vortex series.  Regrettably though, he's evinced denial of the serious problems that Pope Francis continues to pose for the Faith.  When these episodes have presented themselves, I (and others) have seen it necessary to refute them for they are full of logical flaws.  Indeed, it is only the utilization of flawed logic that would cause one to deny evidence that repeatedly presents itself to the public.  If logical fallacies aren't the root causes of the denials, the latter might be engaged at the request of a donor.  It's one or the other; I don't know which.  At any rate, see here, here, here, herehere

As I did in most of those previous posts, I'm going to analyze the lack of logic posed in this Vortex.  I may not necessarily go in the same order as the script of this Vortex.
  • In the first paragraph, Voris acknowledges the problematic and even harmful nature of the pope's repeated erroneous remarks.  As he states, a blind person can see the glaring problems.
  • In the second paragraph, his train of thought starts to jump the rails.  He talks of this "industry of blasting the pope for his confusing conflicting statements".  Industry?  First, we are kept busy addressing the confusing statements, but that's because they issue from his mouth non-stop (especially when he's aboard planes).  Second, let's be clear that "addressing the confusing statements" is NOT equivalent to "blasting the pope".  I truly believe that a donor is feeding this script to Voris.  Then he talks of a notion that "everything that's wrong in the Church can be solved by the pope".  That's not a correct picture of the papacy at all.  He does have the sacred charge of safeguarding the deposit of faith.  Unfortunately these "conflicting statements" have had the effect of endangering the deposit of faith.  Is it too much to ask that the pope not pose a danger to the faith?
