This is a two-part post. From today's Lifenews we read that on August 25th, the Obama administration brought in Planned Parenthood, the National Abortion Federation and the Feminist Majority Foundation to conduct a "training" in Oregon for the FBI and Department of Justice. The topic? Why, "violence against reproductive health centers", of course! By describing our First Amendment speech as violent, they seek to inhibit us from speaking out. I would suspect that is why they allowed prolife advocates to sit in on this training. The advocates who attended obtained a booklet; it is on the Lifenews site and the pdf is downloadable.
The second part of this post pertains to Obama's paranoia regarding Fox News, as reported by Newsmax. You see, unlike those paragons of unbiased reporting such as the New York Times and the Washington Post (stop snickering!), Fox News has the audacity to (Sit down, now! Have the smelling salts handy) a point of view that is (gasp!) DESTRUCTIVE! How so, you might ask? Why, it's because the Messiah Most Miserable disagrees with it! Understand now?

Champions Of Choice?
If by "choice" we mean the unbridled license to murder helpless unborn children, then I must say that the charlatan-doctors described below are exemplars of that movement.
Onenewsnow reports that in Orlando FL, abortionist Randall Whitney was arrested for skipping out on his trial. He had been charged with felonious assault of a patient. He had tried and failed several times to give her an injection. When she started complaining, he slapped her. Is this what the pro-choice crowd calls "dignified treatment of women"? As he was being hauled away, he could be heard telling the pro-lifers who reported him that they'd "be sorry". Let us pray that he stays behind bars.
Closer to home in Maryland, we get a more detailed look at the background of Nicola Riley, one of the abortionists whose licenses were suspended in the Stephen Brigham debacle. It seems that her prior career in the military was equally chequered. While in the Army, she allegedly directed a credit card fraud and identity theft ring. After doing time in the Ft Leavenworth military prison, she went on to obtain her degree. It took several tries over two years to pass the first part of the exam (passing within 5 points). After another fifteen months to finish the exam entirely, she got right into baby-killing. By the way - her license is suspended in Maryland, but she is currently killing babies in Salt Lake City, UT.
In the medical community, abortionists are not well-regarded. Now we know why.

Archbishop Nienstedt Stands For True Marriage
Archbishop John Nienstedt of the Archdiocese of Minneapolis is sending DVDs to the homes of area Catholics to urge support for a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage in Minnesota. Sane and sensible Catholics applaud the Archbishop for his defense of marriage and family.
Then there are the other types of Catholics. A bunch of them have developed a website called "returnthedvd". Says one such person (as quoted in the Star/Tribune), "We just disagree that this is a priority. It's really not a matter we should be about as compassionate Christians. I think we should stress inclusiveness and the poor and people in need."
Flashback to yesterday's post about the "Minions Of The Nanny State". What was one key point? It's that these so-called "social justice" types want to cloak their deadly dissent in a veneer of "compassion", etc. I say their dissent is deadly because, if unchecked, it will grease the slippery slopes towards eternal damnation for those foolish enough to drink their kool-aid.
One such dissident is Lucinda Naylor, who is the former artist in residence at the Basilica of St Mary in that diocese. We read in the Minnesota Independent that she plans to create a sculpture made of the returned dvd's - to create a message of "creativity and hope"! Doesn't that sound so lovely?
As noted, she is the former artist in residence at the Basilica. She has been suspended from her position as a result of her public dissidence. Kudus for Archbishop Nienstedt. Let us thank him for his courage as we pray for Ms Naylor and her equally misguided companions, that they may repent of their sins of public disobedience to Christ and His Teachings.

Highlights From Some Fellow Bloggers
My fellow blogger at An Archdiocese of Washington Catholic comments on the second time that the Messiah Most Miserable omitted the word "Creator" from his quote of the Declaration of Independence. Yes, he did it again! I agree with him and Fr. Z's Blog that this is no coincidence. This omission is done with deliberation. Now think about it. There really is quite a logical reason why Obama (and other progressives) might want to erase awareness of the true origins of our rights. If they are not given to us by our Creator, then who gives them to us? Why, the government, of course! And then our rights become quite alienable. These folks know what they are doing, and it is quite sinister. Those who deny it are either accomplices to the malfeasance or inexcuably naive.
Another fellow blogger, Les Femmes - The Truth, posted a piece today concerning Cooperation with Evil. I urge you to read it. Scroll all the way to the bottom to access a piece written by the late Archbishop Fulton Sheen called "Love Is Not Tolerance". How often do we hear that word "tolerance" bandied about today? Clearly its main use is to inhibit the telling of truth about acts inherently sinful, such as abortion, sodomy, contraception, etc.
Both these blogs can be found to the right of your screen. I encourage you to browse through them and the others as well.

Gianna Jessen, Abortion Survivor
Gianna Jessen wasn't born in the normal sense of the word. She was expelled from her mother's womb during a failed saline abortion attempt on her life. Instead of murdering her, the staff got her to a hospital. Obviously the pro-life battle is very personal to her. Is it personal to you? If not, then why? You will have to answer to God for that.
This appearance of hers (in Austrilia two years ago) is in two parts. Hit the "click more" to see them.

Ann Coulter At The Homocon Conference
When I heard that Ann Coulter was speaking at the GOProud HomoCon conference, I thought she had gone "turncoat" on us. I bet some of the gays in that crowd were likewise convinced. Ann corrected all our misconceptions, according to this Lifesite News account.
Ann is usually right to the point. When she started talking about gay marriage, she said, “I should warn you: I've never failed to talk gays out of gay marriage." She then said that marriage “is not a civil right — you’re not black.” If the GOProud wanted an interesting talk, they got it in spades and more. See the link for more of her talk.
Ann, you go, girl! Keep it up!

It's A Permanent Closure!
On Friday I reported that a Severna Park abortuary had tentatively closed due to difficulties finding a baby-butcher who would do the murders.
We received word that the murder center is closed for good. Deo Gratias!

Coming Soon To Montgomery County
The current membership of the Montgomery County Council two years ago voted to give so-called "trangender" people special rights that will fly in the face of all other people. As we fought to bring the measure to ballot, the proponents of this measure mocked us for our concerns. Unfortunately our concerns are vindicated by an account (from Lifesite News) of a sixth-grade boy, who thinks he's a cross-gender girl, who, by ruling of the Maine Human Rights Commission, was granted the right to use the girls' rest room at school.
What renders this story particularly tragic are the boy's equally confused parents. Instead of seeking help for the boy that he so desperately needs, they are falling right into lockstep with this madness. I can only surmise that they aren't playing with full decks either. At any rate, they are only exaserbating the poor boy's very serious difficulties.
Duchy Trachtenberg and Dana Beyer originated the slop that has placed the above-described scenario in our not-too-distant future. Fortunately they both lost their primary elections a few weeks ago. In November, let's retire as many of the other council members as possible.

Minions Of The Nanny-State! Beware!
To the aforementioned group, I issue this advisory. The truth about your proclivities WILL be spoken here. You are being exposed, and the truth will hurt. So proceed at your own risk!!
Still with us? Alrighty, then! You've been duly warned!
Have you ever wondered how it is that the same pro-abortion crowd who loudly proclaim "keep your laws off my body!" as they murder helpless children have absolutely no compunction whatsoever about barging into our kitchens, living rooms and cars to dictate what we'll eat and how we'll drive? One big answer is relatively simple. They think by waxing self-righteous on relatively trivial matters, that they can somehow assuage their consciences that have been seared by their sexual immorality and advocacy of legalized murder of helpless children.
Boys and girls, can we all say the word "pharisee"? Phariseeim is NOT the following of the law to the letter, as so many liberals would have us believe. It is the attempt to substitute man-made traditions for God's law. Want proof? Read Mark 7:1-9.
We even see that in many of the Church's "social justice" crusades who both crusade for the poor (a good in and of itself) while at the same time advocating dissent from the Magisterium's key teachings and/or celebrating those who do dissent. A great "case-in-point" is the Catholic Charities Centenial Celebration that ends tonight; I've posted details in a previous post. Another dismal sign of that is the so-called Just Faith program that has infested way too many parishes in the Archdiocese of Washington. Jack Jesreel, its founder, openly brags how his so-called "ministry" has influenced Catholics to "crusade" for women's ordination and gay rights.

Faithful Catholics! It's Tea-Time!
What's happening in the US with the Tea Party movement has its obvious parallel within the Catholic Church. I am honored that this blog is a small part of it. Read this article from Deal Hudson on the matter, then watch today's Vortex to see Michael Voris's perspective on this groundswell for real return to sanity in the Catholic Church.
