Common Core Infestation In Catholic Schools

It appears that progressive mega-bucks sugar-daddies Bill and Melinda Gates have insinuated their mental poison into Catholic schools, baiting their traps with lots of money.  To be frank, I blame the Catholic educators and administrators for being so easily seduced by the greenbacks more so than the Gates, but I digress.

Below I'll give some links to information relating to Common Core and why we consider it a threat to our children.  Then there will be two Vortex links: the first is a summary of Common Core and its infiltration into our schools.  The next is taken from the Mic'd Up program, where Voris interviews Father Peter  Stravinskas.

  1. The Sept.-Oct. issue of Defend Life has an article, "Common Core 'Lite': Coming soon to a Catholic school near you," which gives an overview of Common Core, and presents strong evidence that the Archdiocese of Baltimore is implementing it in its schools. Attempts by Defend Life to learn whether Common Core is being implemented by the Archdiocese of Washington schools were unsuccessful. The article is on Defend Life's website, DefendLife.org.

  2. Thanks so very much for addressing common core in Catholic schools (bad enough it will be in government run schools). Although my children were blessed to attend and graduate from a Catholic Liberal Arts High School (www.thelyceum.org), I do wish to address the absurd idea of common core in our diocesan schools. Every piece you provide assists my case. Additionally, the Foiunder, former Headmaster, current Dean of Academics of The Lyceum has a blog that you may enjoy concerning Liberal Education and its necessity. It is, www.thelyceum.org/weblog/2013/09/15/ohioans-against-the-common-core/#comment-15123.
