Desiderio Desideravi - Another Liturgical Stink Bomb

It was just released today, the Feast Day of Sts Peter and Paul.  Courtesy of Rorate Caeli, I can link to the English text as it appears on the Vatican site.  The first 30 sections are basically fluff, but then the real poison becomes apparent in Section 31.  He said, "I do not see how it is possible to say that one recognizes the validity of the Council — though it amazes me that a Catholic might presume not to do so — and at the same time not accept the liturgical reform born out of Sacrosanctum Concilium"

Perhaps he needs to be reminded that Vatican II, for all of its faults, never mandated:

  • The priest facing the congregation
  • The abandonment of Latin as the main liturgical language
  • The abandonment of Gregorian chant and polyphony
  • Tabernacles moved away from the altar
  • Communion in the hand
  • The removal of the communion rails and subsequent standing for Holy Communion
  • Female altar servers
If anyone isn't accepting what Vatican II said, it's those progressive wreckovators who inflicted all the above-cited trash on the Church in a bone-headed attempt to make us look like we're protestants.

Section 37 starts with "Also the plan of studies for the Liturgy in seminaries must take account of the extraordinary capacity that the actual celebration has in itself to offer an organic and unified vision of all theological knowledge  "  That's exactly what the Traditional Latin Mass offers.  Refer to the diagram at the right.  The prayers at the foot of the altar call to mind our sinfulness and both our unworthiness and need for the Mass.  The preface, each and every Sunday, gives a synopsis of the Mystery of the Holy Trinity.  We unite ourselves with the priest as he offers the Unbloody Sacrifice of the Mass.  There is so much more - so much that the current Novus Ordo has stripped away.

Section 39 is truly a head-scratcher. "One final observation about seminaries: in addition to a program of studies, they must also offer the possibility of experiencing a celebration that is not only exemplary from a ritual point of view, but also authentic and alive, which allows the living out of a true communion with God, "  News flash!  All Masses are equally efficacious and salutatory.  But I see that word - experience!  Here we have an unabashed admission that subjective warm-fuzzy experiences trump the objective reality that is embodied in each and every Mass.  Hence experience is made into a de facto idol.

I'm only halfway through this thing and I am sure there are more sly little poison pills interspersed throughout this tome.  I will delve into the rest of it later.  For now, I suggest that you all read it closely, for there will be some erroneous and disingenuous references to it from pulpits all over the world.

A Tale Of Two Flags

The Vatican chose the flag below to be the flag for "Holy Year 2025.

Now here's the so-called "LGBTQ Progress Pride Flag".

The color schemes are suspiciously similar, don't you think?  That is NOT a coincidence!

More States Abortion-Free

Happily, yesterday's post is obsolete.  More states are now abortion-free; see here, here.  Each locale that rejects abortion is one more place where babies are more safe than they were last week.  Moreover, the rejection of evil can only bode well in terms of bringing healing upon our land.  Read 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Some States Are Abortion-Free

With the overturn of Roe and Casey, trigger laws in several states will be in effect, banning abortions in those states.  In other states, (such as my own state of Maryland), baby-killing can continue unabated for now.  There are other states in between those two poles.  Aletia has an article giving a synopsis of each state's situation.  A map below puts things in visual format.  Situations can change as various states enact legislation.

Now that the arena has moved back to the states, we must focus legal attention there.  That can be accomplished primarily by whom we elect to fill state and local law-making bodies.

Of this we can be certain.  The pro-aborts consider themselves now highly motivated to place their own in all levels of local government.  They have demonstrated repeatedly in the past that they will have the drive and discipline to work towards their warped goals.  The drive and discipline that we have must at least match theirs.

Wishy-Washy Advice On Dealing With Potential Mass Disruptions. Firm Manliness Is Needed

All, I received the following email from the parish in which I'm registered...

We rejoice in the most recent Supreme Court Decision on Abortion.

However, federal and local authorities have issued warnings that churches and other religious facilities face a heightened threat environment.

Should you witness a disruption by an individual or group, or any other suspicious activity in or around the parish:

  • Call 911.  The street address of our church is REDACTED.
  • Please handle the situation with Christian charity and discretion, and do not confront protesters, whether inside or outside of the church.
Thank you for your attention in this matter.

The call to the police is most certainly needed.  I find the second bullet-point action (perhaps more accurately, inaction) questionable.  Men, I am addressing this to you for the defense against physical aggression is primarily a masculine duty.  What do you do when thugs come in and threaten the sanctity of the Church?  Do you just let them run riot throughout the church and pray that the police arrive quickly?  As the saying goes, when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.  What if they stampede towards the Tabernacle and attempt to desecrate the Blessed Sacrament?  Do you utter whiny little protests at them while wringing your hands?  What if they dare expose themselves and hurl obscenities and threats at your wives and children?

In these cases, "do not confront" is not morally permissible.  You simply must impede and contain the thugs, even if you have to lay hands on them and deck them a few.  Under no circumstances can you allow them to have their way.  Many of you (men in my parish included) have been going through a series called "That Man Is You".  Well, what's the good of all that talk if, when the chips are down, you intend to play the sanctimonious cowards?  You are called to be men, not 21st century beta-males.

I would suggest that men of the parish confer with one another - independently of clergy - and devise a plan on how to deal with these thugs, should they ever darken your doors.  Do not worry about what the mass media might say, for no matter what they will paint you in the most unfavorable manner.  They've gotten so many things wrong in the past anyway.  What will God think?

Let me close with an account of a martyr of the Eucharist, Saint Tarcisius.  He was a young Roman Christian.  The priests in the catacombs were trying to devise a plan to smuggle Holy Communion to Christians in prison.  Tarcisius volunteered to do the job, stating that because of his youth, he would not be suspected by the Romans.  They all agreed and he was given the package.

However, the Romans did suspect and confronted Tarcisius, demanding that he surrender the Eucharist to them.  He refused, whereupon they set themselves on him, beating him mercilessly.  They still could not wrest the package from him.  Finally Tarcissius died, whereupon the Eucharist rose from his dead hands and vanished.

How young was Tarcisius?  Twelve years old.  Surely our grown men can muster up the courage to approximate his, through his intercession.  Be men of God.

Insipid Garblings From MD Bishops Regarding Overturn Of Roe

For a truly Catholic bishop, news of the overturn of Roe v Wade would be a joy for him to announce with clarity and he would jump at the chance to state his gratitude to God and exhort his flock to continued fidelity and prayer and action.  However, truly Catholic bishops seem to be a rare commodity in this nation and they are sorely lacking in the MD/DC area.  Nevertheless, they are astute enough to know that they could not maintain absolute silence in the face of this obviously significant occurrence.

The poor dears!  I'm certain they found themselves between a rock and a hard place, what with trying to put on a Catholic appearance while pleasing their progressive sugar-daddies and all.  No wonder why these statements sound like piles of namby-pamby mush.

Let's examine what came from Archbishop Lori.  He happens to be in Germany at the moment, but released his statement to the Catholic Review.  Every sentence of his starts with "I think" when evaluating what happened today.  He "thinks" it's good news?  Thinks?  It either is or it isn't. Of course it most definitely is good news.  Can you just imagine how Peter's first sermon would have sounded if he used such tepid language?  "I think you should repent and be baptized.."  That really would have converted those 3,000 people - would it not have?  Then he talks about redoubling efforts to reach out to women in troubled pregnancies.  Certainly that is needed, but that's not all that is needed.  Neither he nor any of the other pro-life leaders quoted in that article utter a peep about fighting for legal protection for unborn children.  Frankly, I know why.  If they did that, they would put themselves at odds against their progressive sugar-daddies in the local government who give them all sorts of nice funding dollars (extorted from taxpayers, but that's its own post).

Even more insipid is the pabulum uttered by Cardinal Gregory, as published in the Catholic Standard.  He lauds the ruling as a step in winning legal protections for unborn children, oops!  My bad!  That should read "heal the nation's divisions".  He immediately segues into a litany of seamless garment, social justice mish-mash.  The attempt to distract from the primacy of baby slaughter is so obvious that it's laughable.  Like Lori, he steers thoughts away from seeking legal protections for the unborn children - protections that would undoubtedly irk the Democrat demagogues with oodles of money to divert to church hierarchy coffers.

These statements, coupled with their abysmal refusals to assist our petition drive last month, make plain that we will have to proceed to work independently of our prelates.

Roe V Wade Is Overturned. Let's Keep Moving

Roe v Wade was decided when I was 17 years old.  Frankly, the way things were going, I didn't think I'd live to see this day, but here we are.  The ruling is not only an unambiguous smack-down of Roe but also of Casey v Planned Parenthood, picking apart their constitutional flaws.

By God's grace we have finally cleared a major hurdle, but there are many more to be surmounted.  We give thanks to God while not only maintaining but increasing our stride.  The little pro-abort darlings who chided us for years to "respect the court decisions" announced that tonight they intend to engage in temper tantrums that they call the "summer of rage".  They have already vandalized a number of Catholic churches and pro-life pregnancy centers.  Hmm... I wonder why they only target Catholic churches.  Might it be that they are acknowledging a truth that some of our protestant friends won't?  But I digress.

While I lived to see the day, many of my pro-life colleagues passed on.  I will now give them a shout-out, in no particular order.  To keep this list at a reasonable length, I'll only list those with whom I worked in one degree or another.  Some are nationally-known, but many were local folks.  They are: Nellie Gray, Joe Scheidler, Norma McCorvey, Marilyn Szewczyk, John Marcus, John Jay Daly, Anthony Sheehan, George Offerman, Cookie Harris, Kristin Kazyak, Jim Sharbaugh, Jim Sedlak, Mike Fritz, Bill Ferris, Bill Simpson, Bill Luksic, Dick Retta, Francis Popper, Francois Quinson, Robert Kling.  I'm sure their prayers were joined with ours in overturning that Roe beast and those prayers will continue to be with us.

This is no time for slacking off, for "resting on our laurels", as it were.  We must redouble our prayers and efforts.  We must continue to offer our daily Masses, pray our daily rosaries.  We must continue with our pro-life apostolates and work to elect good pro-life people to public office.

Let me draw special attention to that last sentence.  In 2016, a fair number of misguided and perhaps "mis-motivated" pro-life people thumbed their noses at Donald Trump, claiming that he wasn't pro-life enough for their overly-dainty tastes.  I've chided them quite a bit during that time; see here and here

When I wrote those posts six years ago, I didn't know how true those words would ring.  Donald Trump won the White House and kept his promise to appoint judges and justices who would interpret the Constitution as originally written.  Thus, Kavanaugh, Gorsuch and Barrett were appointed Supreme Court justices.  Today's Supreme Court ruling on Dobbs involved several written opinions.  The vote to uphold the Mississippi law was 6-3.  Of those 6, Chief Justice Roberts voted to uphold the Mississippi law, but not to overturn Roe and Casey.  That vote was really 5-4.  Three of the five were the justices that Trump appointed (Alito and Thomas being the other two).  Had the "nevertrumpers" in pro-life circles had their way, this victory for the babies would never have occurred.  Trump is owed much credit for keeping his word.

Frankly, I believe this ruling to have particular spiritual significance.  For nearly 50 years, with the de facto legalization of baby-slaughter, the United States as a nation has incurred the blood-guilt of over 60 million babies murdered since January 1973.  Now that ruling has ended and some purification has begun.  Today both Texas and Missouri have declared their states abortion-free.  Mississippi's law stands.  Other state bans, in limbo till now, can be enforced.

We have another presidential election in two years.  For now, let us focus on our local elections, especially since the overtuning of Roe puts the fight for the babies back to local governments.

From The "Elections Matter" Department

Today, in its ruling on the NYSRPA v Bruen case, the United States Supreme Court struck down a New York state law that sought to abridge a citizen's right to carry a handgun outside his/her home for self-defense.  The vote was 6-3, with Clarence Thomas writing the majority opinion.

In another excellent ruling, the Supreme Court voted 8-1 (Sotomeyer dissenting) ruled that Republican lawmakers do have authority to intervene for the enforcement of voter id laws in North Carolina.  This brings much-needed accountability to the conduct of elections.

All this goes to show that elections have consequences and that we as Christians have a duty to vote, even if none of the candidates is as pure as the driven snow.  These rulings would not have happened if Trump was defeated in 2016.  I daresay that much of today's mess would not have happened had the election not been stolen from Trump in 2020.

Who, Like Me, Is A "Deplorable Restorationist"?

The pope seems to think it bad to be a "restorationist" when it comes to the Traditional Mass and fidelity to the teachings on faith and morality that the Church has always promulgated.  While he bandies that term like an insult, I wear it proudly, as do many of my friends.  I also wear with honor the "deplorable" distinction that Hillary Clinton gave to so many good people.  Hence I am a "Deplorable Restorationist"!

Archbishop Vigano apparently is quite comfortable with it, as he details in an interview the masonic underpinnings and machinations behind so much of the chaos - spiritual, political, economical - that the world is experiencing.  It is all quite by design; frankly, I think that is painfully obvious.

I suggest you read through that interview carefully and then listen to this clip from Raymond Arroyo as he interviews Peter Kwasniewski about some of the pope's questionable words and actions, including his slurs against ornate vestments (calling them "grandma's lace").  Notice how well the pope is following the directives of Klaus Schwab, George Soros and other puppet-masters as he works to undermine the Faith that stands almost like a lone bulwark against this new world order.

To truly be a "restorationist" means to be one who works to restore the world to Christ, to restore fidelity to Christ's teachings, to restore the Christian underpinnings that once graced western civilization.  If the pope considers that an insult, that says more about him than us.

An Excellent Treatise On The Latin Mass

My friend and blogging colleague at Les Femmes posted an excellent talk by Dr. Peter Kwasniewski as he gives an overview of the Tridentine Mass and its immense value.  We need to rediscover true worship of Jesus Christ.  This Mass needs to be made more available.  The attempts by the pope and progressive prelates to destroy it are nothing short of demonic.  At any rate, this talk is well worth the time it takes to listen to it, and to be passed along.

Don't Worry, Be Happy! As The World Destroys Itself..

When I attend Mass on weekdays, the Novus Ordo Masses are the only option available.  Such was the case today.  The first reading was from 2 Chronicles 24:17-25.  I'll cut and paste it from the Douay-Rheims version.

And after the death of Joiada, the princes of Juda went in, and worshipped the king: and he was soothed by their services and hearkened to them. [18] And they forsook the temple of the Lord the God of their fathers, and served groves and idols, and wrath came upon Juda and Jerusalem for this sin. [19] And he sent prophets to them to bring them back to the Lord, and they would not give ear when they testified against them. [20] The spirit of God then came upon Zacharias the son of Joiada the priest, and he stood in the sight of the people, and said to them: Thus saith the Lord God: Why transgress you the commandment of the Lord which will not be for your good, and have forsaken the Lord, to make him forsake you?

[21] And they gathered themselves together against him, and stoned him at the king's commandment in the court of the house of the Lord. [22] And king Joas did not remember the kindness that Joiada his father had done to him, but killed his son. And when he died, he said: The Lord see, and require it. [23] And when a year was come about, the army of Syria came up against him: and they came to Juda and Jerusalem, and killed all the princes of the people, and they sent all the spoils to the king of Damascus. [24] And whereas there came a very small number of the Syrians, the Lord delivered into their hands an infinite multitude, because they had forsaken the Lord the God of their fathers: and on Joas they executed shameful judgments. [25] And departing they left him in diseases: and his servants rose up against him, for revenge of the blood of the son of Joiada the priest, and they slew him in his bed, and he died: and they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchres of the kings.

I think the applicability of this passage to current events is obvious.  Moreover, the Gospel was from Matthew 6, part of the Sermon on the Mount.  The main thrust of this was Jesus exhorting the people to "seek first the kingdom of God".  As a lead-up to that, Jesus remarked how the people worried about their material needs.  So what did the priest emphasize today?

He emphasized the worry that many people have.  He actually used the phrase "don't stress".  I could almost hear Bobby McFerrin's trite little ditty "Don't Worry Be Happy".  What an abysmal waste of a teaching moment.  The world is literally going to hell in a handbasket, with plenty of souls cascading their way down there now, with so many progressive bishops indifferent to their plight.

To think that Father might have encouraged the congregation to more frequent confession, to the daily Rosary, requests of Our Lady of Fatima, etc.  The readings provided the perfect setting for that.  Instead, he settled for happy-clappy pap.

However, we know what we must do.

Maryland Right To Life PAC Announces Endorsements

If the rampant corruption in Washington DC should have taught us anything, I should have taught us that no longer can we discount the importance of local-level elections.  Many of those are occurring this autumn.

In Maryland, all statewide and at least most county-wide seats are open for election, from the governor down to the city council people.  Of course all seats of Congress are being voted upon, and Chris Van Hollen is up for re-election, or hopefully a defeat this November.  Moreover, all seats in the various boards of education are to be decided as well.

Maryland Right to Life PAC has just released its list of endorsements and I link to it now.  At this time I concur with its list and had already planned on voting for its endorsed candidates.  I now link to all the candidates as listed on the Maryland Board of Elections site.  I had noticed that MRTL did not endorse a candidate for US Senator; judging from a first glance at their individual websites, I can see that none of them are any too impressive.  Still, Van Hollen must be unseated.

As far as the Board of Education goes, here is my strategy.  Every time, some helpful person will, as I approach the polling place, present to me an "apple ballot".  These are candidates that have been endorsed by the local chapter of the National Education Association - an unabashedly progressive cabal if ever there was one.  Therefore, I study it and make sure that I vote for all their opponents.

In south Texas, a conservative Republican lady won an upset victory in a district that had not elected a Republican in decades.  There is hope.  Of course, we must pray that God brings this country to repentance and to its senses and healing.

In The Archdiocese Of Washington: Pelosi Admitted To Holy Communion, Traditional Latin Masses To Be Banned From Parishes

Word has it that Cardinal Gregory is set to clamp down severely on the few parishes that currently offer the Traditional Latin Mass.  In a nutshell, no parish will be allowed to host the Mass of the Ages.  Instead, attendees will be sent to one single Mass offered on the grounds of the Franciscan Monastery in the Brookland area of DC, not far from the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.  There will be no exceptions.  Remember - this same prelate didn't bat an eye when Nancy Pelosi received Holy Communion at Trinity church when her own bishop banned her from Holy Communion.  This means that absolute dissidents can receive Holy Communion, but the Traditional Latin Mass will be banned from the Archdiocese of Washington.

Now please listen to this next podcast in which Taylor Marshall and Michael Matt discuss the obvious obsession displayed by the pope in his quest to stamp out the Traditional Latin Mass.  We are in fact standing in his way of obliterating the Church as Jesus founded her and remaking it into a puppet of the New World Order.

Pro-Lifers, Be Careful With Whom You Strike Hands

Nellie Gray, founder and late president of March for Life, was very careful when it came to speakers for the rally on the Ellipse preceding the March.  I never knew her to allow gay rights activists, feminists, atheists, etc to share that platform.  At one time I questioned why she was reluctant to allow those organizations to be recognized, although she could not have prevented them from walking in our crowd.  I now understand her wisdom.

My colleague Vic Biorseth penned a piece yesterday, to which I will now link.  I won't address the entire post, but will copy and paste one section that is relevant to my discussion.

"If you are anywhere near our age, your parents and your pastors probably told you to be careful about the friends you make, with the warning that you will become your friends, so choose them wisely.

"Remember how many times we have said that, if you ever allow Satan to get on the cultural bus, he will wind up in the driver's seat? Remember? Go back through these pages and count them up. I hate to say I told you so, but - I told you so.

"Satan is now driving the American cultural bus, and he is beginning to throw us off. He's the driver, after all. He's in charge now.

"Do you begin to see the reason for keeping apart from evildoers?  Do you see the evil intentions of 'multiculturalism', 'diversity' and 'inclusiveness'?"

I will now post to a link from LifeSiteNews, written last December, that develops these points in relation to the pro-life movement.  He uses as a "case-in-point" a woman who was named Rosemary Geraghty, but who now calls herself Herb Geraghty.  As you can see from the LifeSite article, she shills incessantly to normalize LGTBQ(your choice of additional letters) people - in other words, sexually perverted behavior.

What she, and too many others, refuse to acknowledge is that same-sex sexual activity is its own sin against God's teachings on life, family, sexuality.  Now many of them are atheists, so that's its own can of worms.

Lately Geraghty and other like-minded individuals have been standing alongside pro-life people against abortion.  Such associations, unless one is careful, are laden with booby-traps.  The pro-lifers in these situations must be very careful not to affirm the mortally sinful behavior of these associates.  They must not:

  • Use pronouns not in conformity with biological sex
  • Overlook sexual sins
  • Attend events in morally questionable venues (such as the Catholic Worker building)
  • Be reluctant to work against socialism, gay agenda, no matter the proclivities of other anti-abortion individuals
  • Be on the board of directors of these dubious allies or let them be on your boards
If any of these behaviors happen, they will give the appearance that pro-life people are throwing in their lots with those who violate God's commandments in other ways besides baby-murder.  Moreover, the pro-lifer who risks such volatile alliances, unless he or she is firmly grounded in traditional philosophy and theology, risks being deceived into buying their sinful agendas.  Again, pro-lifers must be very judicious regarding the folks whom they take into their confidence.

Now I will post a video of an excellent homily.  The priest, from Bloomington IN, delves into the topic of transgenderism and gives a concise but comprehensive treatment of its harms.

Maryland Catholic Crybabies Don't Like Getting Called Out

On Monday, I shined the light on how the Maryland Catholic Conference absolutely stonewalled our efforts to petition a dangerous abortion bill to referendum in Maryland.  A few days later I was examining their facebook page and noticed them suggesting that we contact our legislatures to reduce gun violence - in other words, they wanted to stir up a gun-grab.

As a comment to that post, I rebuked them for their duplicity and linked to that blog post.  Well, lo and behold, I received this gem from Facebook (broken into three pieces).

If you compare my post with their "standards on spam", you'll see that there is no way an honest person could construe my post as "spam".  Frankly, I don't think Facebook would have picked this up on their own.  Whoever manages the social media pages at MCC probably had a snit (or maybe his/her boss had the snit) and reported my comment as "spam", knowing that they acted in rank dishonesty.

MCC, here's a suggestion - If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.  Understand that your complete dereliction of duty in regards to the petition drive WILL have consequences.  Now we're not like Chuck Schumer who gins up thugs to assassinate Supreme Court justices.  We will simply do things like shame you for your indifference to the babies and urge area Catholics not to contribute to any statewide or nationwide collection efforts.

The Maryland Catholic Conference is just a state-level version of the larger USCCB.  I suggest that both be dismantled immediately.

Maryland Catholic Conference And Its Bishops Smear Shame On Themselves Once Again

For the past few weeks, pro-life Maryland citizens have been conducting a petition drive to get HB937, the "Abortion Access Act" on the November ballot for general vote.  We needed 25,000 valid signatures by May 31st.  Sadly, we did not get that number, but failed by only a very thin margin.

Sadder and even infuriating is one key reason why we didn't make that threshold.  When approached for their assistance, the Maryland Catholic Conference decided that the referendum couldn't be won, so they refused to contribute to the effort.  The three area bishops likewise refused to cooperate.  Consequently the bulk of the pastors would not allow petition signatures to be collected in their churches.

The organizers of the petition drive believe that had all the churches been available for signature collection, that we would have succeeded in meeting that threshold and would have been well on our way to obtaining the total of 75,000 signatures.

While the signatures were being collected, I checked the MCC website a few times.  Sure enough, there was not one mention of the petition-collection drive.  The MCC's dismal dereliction of duty was in fact a self-fulfilling prophesy.

Let's rehearse some of the provisions built within HB937.  First, it will allow non-physicians to perform abortions.  It will force insurance companies to fund abortions, without any co-pay or deductible limitations; that would impact health policies that the Church and MCC provide their employees, wouldn't it?

Now that HB937 cannot be challenged, it will pave the way for more butchery of babies and their mothers.  For their inexcusable refusal to allow good people to combat this, the leaders of the Maryland Catholic Conference, the three bishops included, may well have blood on their hands in the coming months.

Local Pregnancy Center Vandalized By Pro-Aborts Having Temper Tantrums

Several years ago I and some other sidewalk counselors gave a training seminar that was hosted by Capitol Hill Crisis Pregnancy Center in Washington DC.  It was clear to me that this was a place truly dedicated to helping women who choose to let their babies live, as opposed to subjecting them to grisly deaths.  The place abounded with all manners of baby care items, etc.

I therefore immediately recognized the place as I saw its picture on this LifeSiteNews piece.  The overgrown brats who did this cannot deal with the fact that some areas of the country will once again be able to protect children.  Ironically, Washington DC, where this happened, will remain a locale where babies will be in mortal danger.  But think of it.  If Roe does go down, the progressives will not be able to destroy as many babies as they have done, so they will look for any decent thing that they can destroy, be it pregnancy centers or churches.

Such destructive temper tantrums are coming in many forms.  Resurrecting tactics that NARAL tried in 2009, the New York state legislature passed legislation that will allow them to "investigate" pro life pregnancy centers for not slaughtering babies.  That's like investigating the American Cancer Society for not selling cigarettes.  I trust this will go down in flames just as the other NARAL tactics did in 2009.

Again, in related news, the Department of Homeland Security warmed the nation's Catholic bishops that their churches could be targeted for vandalism if Roe is scuttled, and clergy could be targeted for personal violence.  Please notice something.  The threats seem to be centered on Catholic establishments.  They aren't threatening Protestant churches or other houses of worship.  Whether the progressives realize it or not, they are acknowledging that the Catholic Church is the one true bulwark for Godly moral truth.  At any rate, we will have to be on the alert and be prepared to physically stop anyone from desecrating our churches and the Blessed Sacrament.

Mass Of Ages, Part 2

Last August I posted the first of a trilogy of movies known as the Mass of the Ages.  Click here to review it.  Below is the second that just became available.  I will post the third when that is released.
