I posted the following on my facebook page in the wake of the Virginia election results
We could blame Sarvis (and his Obamaphile funder) for this, but in reality, it still comes down to the voters. We cannot even blame the RINO and donor spinelessness; they're not responsible for how the people vote - or didn't vote as the case may be. The populace, by and large, did not take the trouble to educate themselves to the issues and the candidates' stances on them. Had they done so, no "dog and pony show" could have influenced their votes. We've devolved into a nation of atheistic, amoral, intellectually flabby and hedonistic sheeple. In our form of government, we as a people get the leaders we deserve. I truly am sorry for those Virginians who worked valiantly for Ken.
I will add something else. Even in light of the obvious treachery of the RINO establishment, Ken Cuccinelli almost won. He was vastly outspent and yet he nearly pulled it off with grassroots support. I understand that some of the counties managed to shed their liberals for more common-sense officials. The trend is looking up.

Voris On The VA Gubernatorial Race
In today's Vortex, Michael Voris details the stark differences between Ken Cuccinelli (a faithful Catholic who integrates his Catholic morals in his public life) with his opponent Terry McAullife (a CINO who trashes Catholic morals in his public life). While Voris didn't come out and say it outright, my Les Femmes colleague and I will. Before I reiterate this, I advise my progressive readers to please have some blood-pressure meds handy, as well as some smelling salts! Here goes..
The faithful Catholics (and other decent people) of Virginia should cast their ballots this November for Ken Cuccinelli, as well as his running mate E.W. Jackson (I've posted on him earlier) and Mark Obenshain.
By now, the progressive readers should have recovered from their apoplectic seizures. If any of you are of a mind to report this to the IRS (Infernal Robbery Syndicate), don't bother. We decided long ago to forego any "501c" status to avoid voluntarily muzzling ourselves in such a ridiculous and useless fashion. By the way - the Les Femmes site has a link to Cuccinelli's campaign site. You can bet the progressives have him in their cross-hairs (if you didn't already catch that drift with the EW Jackson post).

MSNBC Calls E.W. Jackson "A Black Puppet"
But of course MSNBC, that impeccable voice for compassionate progressives everywhere cannot possibly be racist, right? After all, only those mean ole' right-wing conservatives are racists, right? Stop that snickering right now!
Of course it's a racist slur on the part of MSNBC and we're calling them on it (no wonder Dick Durbin wants to stifle us - see the previous post). And thanks to Lifenews and MRC.

Virginia's Common-Sense Laws A Factor In Closing Abortuary
The Washington Post, mouthpiece for the baby-killers that it is, let loose with its screed entitled "Virginia's Assault on Abortion Claims a Victim". The hysterical wording implied that a human being died as a result of the law. Au contraire! The lives of human beings will most likely be saved!
The editorial starts off with this rather telling denial of fact claiming that "at abortion clinics.. the width of doorways..(has) little to do with the health of patients". Note - to see prima facae evidence of the lunacy underlying that lie, take a gander at the photo to the right, of a woman being carried out of a.the width of now-closed Birmingham abortuary - because they couldn't get a gurney through the doorways! They had to carry her down a dilapidated staircase and through a trash-filled ally!
The "victim" in this sorry excuse of an editorial is - was - Hillcrest Clinic of Norfolk VA. The only reason it closed, apparently, is because the owners were too cheap to bring their chop shop to minimum standards for safety. They did perform surgery, did they not? Were they not interested in making abortion (surgical procedure) as safe for the women as possible? Why were these so-called "champions of women" not willing to meet these standards but to even go beyond them? But no, they balked and shut their doors. And we are not complaining one bit. Good bye, Hillcrest, and good riddance! May many more hell holes suffer your fate!
The "width of doorways" had everything to do with the added trauma that this woman suffered! |

Virginia Rally For Life - January 13, 2011
Please participate in this rally, starting at 10:30AM, on the Capitol Grounds at the Bell Tower. Visit http://virginiarallyforlife.com/ for more details.
Virginia citizens, take note! On that same webpage is a petition to sign, to ask Governor McDonnell to initiate regulations of first-trimester abortion mills. Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli has verified that Governor McDonnell does have such authority.

Key Hell Bill Provision Declared Unconstitutional
Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli won a key victory today against the Obama Health Care Bill Monstrosity. Today U.S. District Judge Henry E. Hudson rejected the government's argument that it has the power under the Constitution to require individuals to buy health insurance. How could it not be unconstitutional? Since when do the feds have any right to tell citizens they must buy this good or that service?. Now two other judges have upheld the hell bill, and all expect this matter to make it all the way to the US Supreme Court. But this is a key victory for those who want to see this legislative license to kill be put in the trash where it belongs.
(A word to Sister Carol - Please don't snap that pen in frustration and angst! After all - you sold your soul to obtain the thing!)
I am on the email list of Cuccinelli Compass, so I now reproduce Cuccinelli's own words below.

Support State Lawsuits Against the Hell Bill
You may have heard that several attorneys general of various states are preparing to file suit to stay the Hell Bill that was just signed. Virginia is one of them. Please sign this petition in support of Ken Cuccinelli's suit on behalf of Virginia.
By the way, Faithful Catholics of MD/DC, Inc, is NOT a 501c-anything corporation, and thus can say whatever it wants, be it ever so political or ever so partisan. In other words, we have not been so stupid as to muzzle ourselves in that fashion. We will therefore soon start to suggest candidates with which to replace the current crooked cabal that occupies Congress.
