First Prayer Vigil Outside Carhart's Bethesda Facility

As promised yesterday, I post below the video of the prayer vigil that was announced in several venues as part and parcel of the efforts to have Carhart et al ejected from his new location.  I'll point out a few things.

• First, I regret the poor sound quality of the video.  Old Georgetown Road is a major highway, and we were on the side taking traffic from Washington DC to points north.
• Ms. Handy stated that Leroy Carhart was unlicensed.  This is not correct.  It is the facility itself that doesn't have the required licensure.  He seemed to be prepared to conduct his killings without it and probably would have done so had we not shined the light on this particular negligence.  He canceled appointments for yesterday and apparently isn't scheduling anymore for the foreseeable future.
• By and large we were ignored - except for one man who saw fit to "flip the bird" at us as he walked by (at 8:06), and to try to erase some chalk messages.  That part of Montgomery County MD is ultra-liberal and some resistance is to be expected.  It's also quite possible that there is an abortion in this man's past.  We pray for repentance and healing for him and all those impacted by abortion.
• These vigils will occur on a weekly basis.  That is, they will happen every Tuesday evening beginning at 6:30 pm.  Please try to make as many as possible.

Carhart's New Bethesda Mill Is Illegal

Operation Rescue has received confirmation from the State of Maryland that Carhart's new abortuary, scheduled to begin baby-murder in four days, is not licensed as Maryland law requires all such facilities to be.  Now what was that pro-abort rhetoric again about "safe, legal and rare"?  Carhart fails miserably on all counts.

Please keep this situation in prayer.  As developments occur, I will announce as appropriate.

Carhart To Resume Baby-Murder In Bethesda MD

We have always known that Leroy Carhart was attempting to resume his late-term baby-murder practice after the Germantown location was sold from underneath him.  Regrettably my home state is too much of an abortionist's bonanza for a late-term baby-murderer to resist.

Pro-life activists have learned that he has indeed leased a new place in Montgomery County, MD.  The location is 10401 Old Georgetown Road, Suite 104, Bethesda MD.  Operation Rescue has more details here.  I'll point out that this location is just one block south of the I-270 interchange so it's quite convenient for those driving from out of state.  Most chillingly it is within walking distance from Walter Johnson High School.  It is a short drive from that location to Suburban Hospital; thus, the ambulances that will pull in front of that building won't have as far to drive as they did from Germantown to Shady Grove Hospital.  However, Carhart has no admitting privileges to that hospital - or any other hospital, for that matter.

Baby-murder is anticipated to begin on October 16th.  Pro-life activists will be there.

The Butchery Continues In Germantown

In November, the prolonged absence of Leroy Carhart from Germantown caused us to hope that he had quit Germantown (or maybe had been evicted).  He and the Germantown Reproductive Health Services are being sued for a botched abortion that left a woman disabled and possibly unable to bear other children.  We had hoped that this was the straw that broke the camel's back and sent him packing.

Alas, we were disappointed when he was seen at Germantown this past December.  Once again there would be massive amounts of innocent blood shed there.  Moreover, with Carhart returned the ambulances.  Today happens to be the fourth anniversary of the deaths of both Jennifer and Madison Morbelli.  Madison is the baby who was the intended murder victim but her mother died in addition to her, a direct result of Carhart's incompetence and callousness.  Today also saw Carhart's 10th Germantown victim being taken away in an ambulance.  The site prayforgermantown.com has more details of that, as well as some other suspected botched abortions that happened this past December.

Of course Carhart is a menace to the unborn children.  He is showing himself to be equally dangerous to the mothers.  Not only are pro-aborts disdainful of the babies, but of the mothers too - when they can get away with it.  Sadly, in Maryland they can.  We hope and pray this suit moves forward and that this puts a much-needed crimp into the operations of that hell-hole known as Germantown Reproductive Health Services.

Leroy Carhart Encounters Truth Once Again

This moment of grace for Leroy Carhart happened less than two weeks ago, on January 18th.  The Carharts and Monica Miller shared a plane ride.  Read what happened in Monica's own words.

This is not the first encounter he's had with the truth. He has been confronted several times at the Germantown abortuary where he murders babies not ten miles from my home.  We must pray for his conversion, as well as those of all the others involved in that horrid crime.  As things stand now, their eternal fates look very bleak.  Pray for the grace of repentance and conversion.  He could be the next Bernard Nathanson.

MD Physicians Board Closes Carhart Investigation

In the lovely state of Maryland, where abortionists - and their campaign contributions - are put on the pedestals of elected officials, we are not surprised to see that the Maryland Board of Physicians has ended its "investigation" (or more accurately, the investigation charade) of Leroy Carhart following the latter's utter negligence in the death of Jennifer Morbelli.  There is, of course, the matter of the cold-blooded murder of Madison Morbelli, in which Jennifer herself was more than complicit.

An account of this "closing of the case" appeared in the online edition of Washington Post yesterday.  One curious line appears, the so-called diagnosis of the cause of Jennifer's death.  She allegedly suffered from "a rare condition in which amniotic fluid was pushed into her blood system".  Well, some questions come to mind:

• Does this "rare condition" have a name?
• To be identified at all, there must have been previous occurrences of this "rare condition".  I for one would like to see some accounts of these.
• In order for amniotic fluid to be "pushed into her blood system", something had to do the "pushing".  How did this "pushing" occur?

But don't expect these questions to be asked by the Board.  Nope.  As long as Martin O'Malley is governor, the same who spearheaded NARAL fundraisers, abortionists will continue to get a free pass in Maryland.  Their investigation might as well have closed with..
