A Push To Legalize Post-Birth Infanticide In Maryland?

Thanks to Canon 212, I stumbled upon this alert.  It links to the actual text of the bill, which does indeed contain the deadly language.  This is in addition to some Maryland representatives' attempt to introduce an amendment to Maryland's constitution to enshrine a "right" to slaughter one's own children.  Now they have set their sights on already-born infants.

Let me say a word about the title of this blog post.  I included the words "post birth" because in fact all abortion is infanticide.  It makes no difference whatsoever if the infant is inside or outside his/her mother's womb.  Yes, I said the word mother.  Among the more ridiculous aspects of SB 669 is the attempt to be "woke" about gender-specific language.  Thus "mother" is replaced by "pregnant person" and all feminine pronouns are likewise jettisoned.  Silly as that is, it is trivial compared to the danger that it poses to every baby in Maryland, born or unborn.

Both these bills must be combatted at the legislative level.  Frankly, I don't trust Hogan to veto these.  I'd be delighted to be proven wrong on that, but let's work to keep these things from reaching his desk.

On The Amazon Synod Horizon: Fake Women Priests, Paganism And Infanticide

Below I post a talk given by Michael Hichborn about an hour ago in which he comments about the damage to the Church being wreaked by the pope and his cronies via the Amazon Synod.  I'll have more information and another video below that.

Hichborn made mention of an interview that Edward Pentin conducted with Bishop Erwin Krautler.  The latter is a key synod figure and is unabashedly in favor of women priests.  He states that one reason is to bring the Sacraments to indigenous peoples.  Of course that is pure fantasy.  The Church simply hasn't the authority to ordain women as the Lord Himself ordained only men.  If there was any such attempt to ordain women, both the women and miscreant "ordaining" bishop would incur immediate excommunication.  Moreover, any "sacraments" attempted by these women would be completely invalid.  Any "mass" would simply be a sham and not valid at all.  No remission of sins would occur in any fake "confession" in which they might engage.  Rather than serve the people, these false "priests" would be engaging in a cruel joke on those poor people, assuming they were so poorly catechized that they didn't know the idea of "women priests" is completely bogus.

Now below I'll post a Vortex showing the ties of some South American synod "fathers" with tribal infanticide.  Apparently in the Brazilian Parliament, a law is being debated that will ban infanticide among indigenous tribes.  The liberals among them are claiming that the indigenous peoples cannot be told to abandon "cultural practices".  That such a matter has to be debated only shows the depths of depravity to which western society has sunk.  The Brazilian Catholic Conference has ties to a leading proponent of infanticide.  These national "catholic conferences" really need to be trashed, but I digress.

Now remember - this is a synod about "listening" and "dialoging" and "learning from their wisdom".  So they are going to teach us imperialistic first-world westerners that burying children alive is okie-dokie with "mother earth"?  Of course I can see how Planned Parenthood, NARAL and other outfits might be down with that - but Catholic clergy?

A word of warning - the Vortex does show snippets of the child murders being committed, so be prepared.

When Good And Evil Are Confused..

These two incidents occurred in England, which is probably just a little further down the moral decline than are we.  However, the United States isn't that far behind.

A woman had a baby out of wedlock.  She gave birth at home and immediately strangled the poor baby girl.  Rather than jail the woman for murder, the judge lets loose with a bunch of psychobabble, literally excusing the murder of a defenseless baby.  I remember when Roe v Wade occurred.  Pro-lifers were mocked by pro-aborts when we voiced apprehension about infanticide.  Our fears have come to pass and the pro-baby murder people could not care less.

Elsewhere a gay teenager asked a Christian preacher what he believed about homosexuality.  For the high crime and misdemeanor of giving an honest response to a question, he was arrested on charge of a hate crime.  Fortunately the judge threw out the case; it was an obvious example of entrapment.

I cite these to demonstrate that on the one hand a woman who admitted to murdering her own newborn is let go, while a Christian who preaches the truth is jailed for so doing.  This is happening in England; it could soon happen here.  Had Clinton won in November, I think we'd be racing towards that state of affairs.  We dodged a bullet in November and were granted a little bit more time to turn things around.  While there are good signs from Washington, the bulk of the work in that regards will be the responsibility of each and every one of us.  Ora et labora.

Melissa Harris-Perry, Roman Empress

Remember Melissa Harris-Perry, the MSNBC host who managed several months ago to make a fool of herself at least twice?  Here's a memory-refresher.

The poor dear must have felt that fellow MSNBC host Martin Bashir upstaged her with his vile crack regarding Sarah Palin, for once again she has demonstrated how to insert both feet into her mouth.  But first a history lesson, from the days of the Roman Empire.

Infanticide was an accepted practice among the Romans.  Indeed, it was almost expected that a weak or deformed newborn be drowned or taken out of the city to be exposed.  And yes, sometimes that happened if the newborn was a girl rather than a boy.  Naturally the father had final say, acting as his own little household despot.  The Christians of that time, of course, banned that practice in their circles, seeing it rightly as murder.  They were also known to have rescued many infants abandoned in the city outskirts.

It seems that Melissa Harris-Perry would like to reinstate that less-than-delightful Roman custom.  From RealNews, we read that Harris-Perry believes that the infant is alive if and only if the parents feel the child is alive.  "Feel"??!!?!  What the hell does that  mean????  Moreover, according to that article, some progressives believe the "window for feeling-decision" should be as long as three years!  Why stop there?  Why not just go to seventeen and close the window when he/she is eligible to vote?

How can anyone deny that a culture of death has permeated society?  Go back and read Humanae Vitae.  It was written forty-five years ago, but as you read the list of consequences to usurping God's authority and laws, you might think it was written just a few months ago.  We need to wake up - most especially our bishops - and start proclaiming God's moral law and obeying it, lest our culture fall into the ash heap of history as did the Roman Empire and countless souls be damned to hell.

Infanticide In Washington DC

After hearing how some abortionists suggest flushing of babies down toilets, it is (sadly) no surprise to hear of similar situations coming from baby-killers from within the nation's capital.  Today Live Action released a video of a conversation with abortionist Cesare Santangelo of the Washington Surgi-Clinic (located at 2112 F St NW #400).  Lifesite News and the Washington Post both published pieces about this video; needless to say, their perspectives differ ever so slightly.

I direct your attention to the rally announcement to the right.  Lila Rose is one of the speakers.  The other, Melissa Ohden, started life as one of those "aborted fetuses" who survived her mother's abortion attempt and who would have been considered fair game for vultures such as Santangelo, Gosnell, Carhart and way too many others.

Below I'm posting the full footage of the encounter that occurred at Washington Surgi-Clinic this past November.

Planned Parenthood Wants To Murder Babies That Are Born

The Florida State Legislature is considering legislation (HB1129) that would require physicians to care for a baby who survives an abortion attempt.  They were understandably shocked when a lobbyist for the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, Alisa LaPolt Snow, told the lawmakers that the decision "should be up to the woman and her doctor".  Of course she tries to wiggle around the question and claim she "doesn't have that information" when asked a direct question; in other words, she's flat-out lying.

What is happening is that Planned Parenthood and other murderers of babies simply cannot keep up the charade of pretending the baby isn't a person from his/her conception.  The "decision" is regarding infanticide, that is, the murder of babies already born.  They can't pull out the "Her body! Her choice!" mantra since the baby has exited her body.  They can't call it "terminating a pregnancy" since by definition the exiting of the baby from the mother has already terminated "the pregnancy".

As you watch the clip below, you'll see how cockroaches try to run when light is shed.  But this one can't so she must squirm.  By the way, the full session can be viewed here, with the "clip" portion beginning around the 38-minute mark.

A tangential point before I close - One of Snow's objections to obliging an abortionist to treat a child who survives the abortion is that an abortuary might be too far from a hospital (towards the end of the clip).  Well, golly-gee-whiz!  Might that not be a problem if the mother herself is seriously injured?  It's a pity that question wasn't asked of her.

Obama Defends Infanticide

This audio was recorded in 2002, when the Illinois version of the Born Alive Protection Act was being debated.  Listen to then-state-Senator Obama, during debate, argue against the act, insinuating that a newborn is a "fetus outside the womb" (Forgive his stuttering and stumbling; apparently teleprompters weren't allowed in the senate chambers during debates).  Thanks to Jill Stanek for posting this.  Click here if you can't see embedded video.

Canada: No Jail For Woman Who Strangled Her Newborn

From Lifesite News we read that an Alberta judge set free a mother who strangled her newborn son.  He argued that Canada's absence of a law prohibiting abortion signals that Canada sympathizes with the mother.

If the premise is the lack of protection for preborn children, his conclusion from that premise is logical.  Peter Singer, a professor at Princeton University, has long advocated for legalized infanticide stating that "there is no sharp distinction between the fetus and the newborn baby."   Guess what?  He's right!  There is no real distinction between the unborn child and the born child.

To my "pro-choice" readers:  Do you see where your warped logic is taking the thinking of too many people?  Now born infants are being murdered, and the perpetrators are exonorated.  Take a hard look at yourselves and what your advocacies have wrecked upon us.  I hope this troubles you.  If not, your thinking is stymied, your eyes are blind and your hearts hardened.
