Maryland House Bill 1171 Just Passed The House Today

Last month I sounded an alert regarding Maryland House Bill 1171, a proposed amendment to the State Constitution to enshrine abortion as a "right".  Today it passed the House and now moves to the State Senate.  I understand that because it is framed as a constitutional amendment, that it will bypass Governor Hogan altogether if passed and will be placed on the ballot for popular vote.

Please work and pray that this bill dies in the Senate.  If it passes, we will have quite a battle on our hands to get Maryland voters to reject the amendment.  We, as a state, stand to have more blood on our hands and will probably see an influx of abortionists to set up their murdering establishments.

By the way, SB 669, the legalization of post-birth infanticide, is also in the works.  We'll watch that too.

  2. Colorado is all about this as well. And with the demoncrat majority, all is likely to pass. Those ones do NOT care about any opposition or the testimonies that came against the bill that lasted until 4am. These minions of the evil one have their agenda and also have the power and will do as they intend. No parental notification. Infanticide approval. May force doctors and others to take part in the killing. A true medical person would need to forfeit their job first or risk eternal fires.

  3. Governor Murphy recently enshrined abortion, as a constitutional right, in the New Jersey State Constitution, thereby guaranteeing it will remain legal, through all nine months, even if the Supreme Court overturns Roe v Wade. The Bishops of New Jersey are silent.
