Maryland Woman Convicted Of Murder Of Two Of Her Newborns

LifeNews broke the news of the Maryland woman who was convicted of the murders of her newborn boys.  She drowned them because she believed abortion was too expensive.  I won't rehash the article here since you can read the link.  I will make two points:

• Ten years imprisonment is way too lenient for the murders of helpless babies.
• She justified her murders by saying she couldn't afford abortions.  The fact is that one day prior to the births, she could have murdered the babies via abortion.  The only difference is that the state of Maryland would not be prosecuting her for murder.

Such is our contradictory justice system in Maryland.
