From LifeSiteNews. I'll have more to say on this later when time allows, and will add to this post. Suffice it now to say that I'm not the least bit surprised.
UPDATE:
As promised, I will add my two cents worth now that I have some time. As a reminder, I have lived in the Archdiocese of Washington since early childhood - about 54 years. That means I endured the reign of Cardinal McCarrick and his ever-increasing progressive pandering. At one time, faithful Catholics could make their displeasure known via the Catholic Standard's "letters to the editor". Once McCarrick made known his disdain for Canon 915, the Standard ceased their "letters to the editor" because they were hearing from thousands of faithful Catholics (including me). To date the Standard has not resumed that feature. Hence I started the site restore-dc-catholicism.com website and a few years later, this blog, to give some voice to faithful Catholics and to help coordinate some activism to clean up the Church. When McCarrick had retired and Wuerl succeeded him, we had hopes for some improvement. We know what became of those hopes.
In his retirement, McCarrick had not kept any silence. Put the word "McCarrick" in the search box in the top left to see how he, in his retirement, continued to trash the credibility of the Church. We haven't heard from him too much lately and I assume he's just slowing down due to his advanced age. So much for this background.
Let's look closely at his statement as quoted by LifeSiteNews. As he commented on the report of the allegation, he said. "while I have absolutely no recollection of this reported abuse". That's quite the Freudian slip. If someone were to allege that I had robbed a bank, murdered a person, committed arson, etc, my statement wouldn't indicate that "I have no recollection" for I know damned well that I didn't commit those crimes, I'd denounce the allegation vehemently and I'd take the person who made the allegations to court for slander, defamation of character, you name it. Now McCarrick has alwasy been quite slippery with his words. Might he have meant that he had no recollection of that particular incident simply because there were so many over the years that he lost track of them all?
It's no secret that Pope Francis himself is quite sympathetic to sodomites. The interim relatio at the 2014 Extraordinary Synod on the Family made that painfully obvious, as did other incidents detailed in various blogposts. So why, oh why, did McCarrick get sacked? Did he somehow run afoul of that Bergoglio-led mafia in the Vatican? Maybe, but maybe not. We faithful Catholics have been turning up the heat on the Vatican for some time. Maybe they decided to toss to us a little bone. The Cardinal has been removed from public ministry. So what? Just how much "public ministry" is an 87-year-old doing anyway? Perhaps he's being secretly rewarded for being a "fall-guy".
It's difficult to guess the motives behind the removal of McCarrick from ministry. Suffice it to say that the Vatican is most likely operating from less-than-honorable motives. At least some sort of justice has been served, even if only meagerly. Let us pray for more cleansing of the Church's clergy.

Latest Heresy From Vatican Communications Office
Recall that last month dissident Father James Martin SJ was appointed as a Consultor to the Vatican Communication Office. I opined that he would continue to shill for mortal sin, particularly that of sodomy. Indeed he has. LifeSiteNews reports his assertion that some of the saints are gay; in other words, they were actively committing mortal sin and died in their sinful states, yet they are in heaven. Boys and girls, can we all say "heresy"?
LifeSiteNews quotes from St. Peter Damian, a Doctor of the Church who combated sodomy especially as it reared its ugly head in religious life. We can also look to Sacred Scripture:

To engage in homosexual relationships is to commit mortal sin. Unless one who has committed such acts repents and makes a good confession, he/she will not enter heaven. Does Father Martin think he'll be greeted by practicing gays when he dies? That might well be the case if he doesn't repent and stop leading souls astray to perdition.
Those who knowingly appointed this dissident to his current prominent position in the Vatican could very well share the same fate.

Smuggling Sodomy Into The Church - Or Is It Just Barging In?
On January 24, the Pope welcomed into the Vatican two lesbians, one of them who mutilated her body to look like a man's body. She calls herself "Diego". Because she probably legally changed her name to that, I'll call her that. With her was her accomplice in perversion; they plan a "wedding". Emboldened by (among other things) the "who am I to judge" quip, she wrote to the pope. He agreed to meet them privately. I link to three accounts, all from differing perspectives and view points: Rorate Caeli, Remnant, Washington Post, Belfast Telegraph. They agree on the basic chronology of events. Most notably, Diego asked the pope if there would be a place for her as she is today. She reports that the pope embraced her. Nowhere do we read any indignant accounts from her of the pope even gently chiding her for mutilating her body, pretending to be a man and for her plans to mock marriage with her lesbian accomplice.
Some "take-aways":
Some "take-aways":
- Diego and her partner in sin apparently received from the pope much more discreet treatment than did the poor mother who is/was pregnant with her eighth (during the rabbitgate interview).
- Recall that there are individual with whom the pope declined to meet:
- The founder of the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate
- The Dali Lama (mustn't upset Red China!)
- Some liken this meeting to "eating with sinners as Jesus did". But Jesus publicly called them to repentance at the same time. There's no evidence of that happening here. Why? Is this all part and parcel of the "maturation" that the progressives want us to undergo as they prepare for next October's sin-nod?
- Just a week before this incident, America magazine published a piece entitled "A New Theology of the Transgendered Body". Read it. Realize that America is under Jesuit control. I find the timing of this article and that of this meeting to be rather (ahem!) interesting - just a tad too much to be a coincidence.
Today Michael Voris released another "Mic'd Up" entitled "Smuggling In Sodomy", discussing how sodomites wormed their way into high places in the Church. Nowadays they aren't so much being "smuggled in" as much as they are brazenly barging their way through the Church. Recall, for example, the lesbians holding their "wedding reception" in a Knights of Columbus hall in Indiana. Shamefully the Knights there are acting as cowards, but that's another problem.

Gay Mafia In Catholic Hierarchy And Clergy
As you listen to this Vortex, pay close attention between the 5 and 7 minute markers. Listen to his questions and think of your own local situations. For those of us in the Archdiocese of Washington, could the treatment meted out to Father Marcel Guarnizo last March be symptomatic of this malaise? Last Sunday's homily at St John Neumann was a breath of fresh air - but when will the next such breath of clear doctrine occur? Of course we can think of what happened in Texas to Father Michael Rodriguez last year, or Bishop Joseph Martino in Scranton; they dared to speak out and the hammer came down on them.
