The Den Of Iniquity Known As The State Of Maryland

Three recent happenings served to remind me that my home state is quickly swirling down the sinkhole of immorality into decadence and insanity.

First came the news that last Saturday June 1, two dead babies were found on a Metro Transit Authority bus in Baltimore.  This news account calls them fetuses and officials are saying that they were stillborn.  The usage of the term "fetus" suggests that the babies were below the normal age of birth.  Now how, oh how, did these babies get onto the bus?  Presumably no woman went into labor, for surely someone would have noticed that.  Did someone do one of those telemed abortions and then just think that a bus would be a convenient dumping ground for their poor dead babies?  So far, the pro-abortion city officials are keeping mum about their findings.  This is not the first time that some poor child was just dumped as so much refuse.  As these pill-induced abortions increase, so will these incidents increase.

Then the Miss Maryland Beauty Pageant happened this week.  The winner is Bailey Ann Kennedy, a so-called "transgender woman".  That's right, the winner of that dubious crown is a guy.  The authorities should be utterly ashamed of themselves for letting an obviously confused guy even enter, let alone win.  More disgraceful is the slobbering and adulation that he (yes, he, not she) is receiving.  He'll go on to compete in the Miss America Pageant.  Wanna bet that the politically correct lemmings will let him win it?

Speaking of all manners of sexual perversions, we all know that June is "pride month".  Some locales will even have "pride parades", with parade participants appearing in all manners of garish dress or various degrees of nudity.  The garish dress is preferable for at least they aren't exposing themselves, but I digress.

I live in Montgomery County.  As most people know, we got hit with some tornadoes two days ago.  One touched down less than five miles to me.  No one was killed, but much havoc was wreaked.  Today our County Executive, Marc Elrich, a hardcore progressive, put out his weekly update.  In talking about the tornadoes, he blamed them on.. you guessed it!  CLIMATE CHANGE!  What else?

In that same update, he waxed lyrical about pride month.  He related, with stinking pride, how he raised the "pride flag" in Silver Spring, then went on to list other pride-related debaucheries planned in various locales in the County.

That brings me to this rather common-sense observation.  To the progressive trolls who are reading this blog (I know you're out there), would you please suggest to Marc the Dear Leader that maybe, just maybe, the tornadoes might be a shot across the bow from our much-offended God who will not tolerate the baby-slaughter and disobedience to His commands much longer?

Maryland Primaries - A Happy Result

Maryland's primary elections took place yesterday, so they are (mostly) come and gone.  I'll get to that "mostly" part later.  As I comment on the results, I'll omit the Democrat side (again mostly) for the Dems are equally deadly to unborn children.

All in all, the RINO crowd in Maryland got their comeuppance last evening.  Solid conservative Dan Cox trounced Kelly Schultz to become the GOP nominee for Maryland governor.  This was a direct rebuke to Larry Hogan.  In standing against the mask mandates two years ago, Dan Cox was slated to speak at a rally in western Maryland.  He was threatened with arrest by the Maryland State Troopers if that talk continued.  The troopers are under Hogan's authority.  He has also been solidly pro-life.  Sadly the same could not be said for his opponent, Kelly Schultz.  While she started her career as pro-life, she back-peddled in preparation for the gubernatorial race.  This is one example of trying to please so many people that in the end, no one is pleased.

Michael Peroutka will go to the general election for the position of Attorney General.  I know of no shortcoming on the part of his opponent Jim Shalleck and supported the latter when he ran for State's Attorney in Montgomery County.  I believe Peroutka will bring a better sense of adherence to the Constitution in enforcing law.

Neil Parrott will face David Trone for the MD District 6 seat in the US House of Representatives.  Judging from these votes, Parrott has a real chance of winning the general election.  Bear in mind that the district maps have been improved to remove at least some of the gerrymandering.  Besides him and Andy Harris of District 1, I haven't a sense of the pro-life bona fides of the GOP candidates for the other US House seats.  Suffice it to say that we need the GOP candidates to win, if for no other reason than to help remove the Speaker's gavel from Nancy Pelosi's hands.

In the first paragraph of this post I said that the election was mostly over and that I would mostly disregard the Democrat side of things.  Here is the one exception.  In Montgomery County, Marc Elrich faced quite a few opponents.  One of them, David Blair, is surpassing Elrich by over a thousand votes.  There are still a few mail-in ballots to manufacture count.  Wouldn't that be a lovely comeuppance for him to be beaten by a fellow Democrat?   Recall that Elrich moved to fund abortion in Montgomery County to the tune of one million dollars (of our tax money) and was endorsed by Pro-Choice Maryland.  If Blair beats him for the nomination, that will be a plus in and of itself.  Whoever wins will square off against Reardon Sullivan, who won the GOP nomination for that office.

Now that we have a decent slate of candidates in Maryland, we'll have to work to put them in office this November.

Montgomery County Exec To Those Living As Free People: WE WILL FIND YOU! Mwahahaha!!!

Yesterday Montgomery County Marc Elrich announced that as of 6:am today, that he lifted his tyrannical edicts upon us.  Apparently more than 60% of county residents have chosen to be sheep instead of free people and have submitted to being vaccination guinea pigs.  That satisfied the Democrat progressive lust for compliance so now the majority of shackles are released.  Realizing that Montgomery County MD is a veritable liberal loony bin, I am regrettably inclined to believe that a majority of people here are indeed guilty of both gullibility and cowardice.  Many of them are pro-abortion, too, so I now wonder what happened to one of their favorite mantras, "my body, my choice"?

As for that pesky minority of county citizens who still have a recollection of being free American citizens, well, Elrich is still lusting after our blind, stupified compliance.  One sentence from his diatribe speech is quite telling.  I quote, "We still have thousands of our residents who are not vaccinated, and we remain committed to finding them and encouraging them to be vaccinated."

Yes, that is a direct quote from the county executive's blog!  Never in a million years would I have dreamed that he would channel Adolf Hitler so perfectly!  Can't you just picture Hitler and his henchmen saying the same of Jews as they were hunted down and dragged to the gas chambers?

So they will hunt us down find us!  And then they will twist our arms encourage us to submit to their vile injections - just as the Jewish prisoners were subjected to macabre "experiments" of Josef Mengeles.

Ladies and gentlemen, are we awake yet?

Elrich's Snitch-Ambassadors Vindictive Wrath Against Businesses

A few days ago, the Grille at Flower Hill (in Gaithersburg) announced on its facebook page that they would not adhere to the draconian mask regulations.  Predictably, that aroused the ire of the Democrat demagogues that run Montgomery County MD and County Executive Marc Elrich put out this spiel.  It would have done Hitler and Stalin proud.  As I listened, I could almost hear nazi-esque goose step marching with military drums in the background.

At the 1:05 mark, did you catch the part about "business ambassadors"?  Why should I believe these goons are any different than the dictators' minions who would routinely barge into a home or shop, demanding papers and looking for any deviations from the dictates of the overlord in charge?  Elrich states that the "goal" of the "ambassadors" is to "help" businesses comply - and heaven help them if they don't.  Then the tyranical hammer of tyranny will come down heavy and often.  At 1:40 he says "most businesses have chosen to be appreciative".  That's rather telling language, isn't it?  They either appreciate assistance or they don't.  Elrich seems to be inadvertently admitting that most businesses are indeed chafing under his so-called "ambassadors".  But for those who still imagine that they live in a free country, he has this to say.  "Since they would not accept the help of the ambassadors and would not comply with the guidelines, we closed those businesses down."  And a hearty "seig heil!" to you, Mr County Executive!   The Grille was one of the businesses that felt the iron fist of the tyrants.

He then segues into some $14M of public assistance for businesses impacted by Covid.  Just where does he think that money will come from?  Hint!  If you live in Montgomery County, look in the mirror!  Don't have a job?  You'll be taxed anyway!

Hey, Marc!  I've got a better idea!  Let the businesses open up, with no governmental fetters!  Then they won't need your assistance!  Or do you want them dependent on government?  You progressives are becoming more and more transparent about your goals and mindsets.
