Montgomery County Exec To Those Living As Free People: WE WILL FIND YOU! Mwahahaha!!!

Yesterday Montgomery County Marc Elrich announced that as of 6:am today, that he lifted his tyrannical edicts upon us.  Apparently more than 60% of county residents have chosen to be sheep instead of free people and have submitted to being vaccination guinea pigs.  That satisfied the Democrat progressive lust for compliance so now the majority of shackles are released.  Realizing that Montgomery County MD is a veritable liberal loony bin, I am regrettably inclined to believe that a majority of people here are indeed guilty of both gullibility and cowardice.  Many of them are pro-abortion, too, so I now wonder what happened to one of their favorite mantras, "my body, my choice"?

As for that pesky minority of county citizens who still have a recollection of being free American citizens, well, Elrich is still lusting after our blind, stupified compliance.  One sentence from his diatribe speech is quite telling.  I quote, "We still have thousands of our residents who are not vaccinated, and we remain committed to finding them and encouraging them to be vaccinated."

Yes, that is a direct quote from the county executive's blog!  Never in a million years would I have dreamed that he would channel Adolf Hitler so perfectly!  Can't you just picture Hitler and his henchmen saying the same of Jews as they were hunted down and dragged to the gas chambers? 

So they will hunt us down find us!  And then they will twist our arms encourage us to submit to their vile injections - just as the Jewish prisoners were subjected to macabre "experiments" of Josef Mengeles.

Ladies and gentlemen, are we awake yet?

Elrich's Snitch-Ambassadors Vindictive Wrath Against Businesses

A few days ago, the Grille at Flower Hill (in Gaithersburg) announced on its facebook page that they would not adhere to the draconian mask regulations.  Predictably, that aroused the ire of the Democrat demagogues that run Montgomery County MD and County Executive Marc Elrich put out this spiel.  It would have done Hitler and Stalin proud.  As I listened, I could almost hear nazi-esque goose step marching with military drums in the background.

At the 1:05 mark, did you catch the part about "business ambassadors"?  Why should I believe these goons are any different than the dictators' minions who would routinely barge into a home or shop, demanding papers and looking for any deviations from the dictates of the overlord in charge?  Elrich states that the "goal" of the "ambassadors" is to "help" businesses comply - and heaven help them if they don't.  Then the tyranical hammer of tyranny will come down heavy and often.  At 1:40 he says "most businesses have chosen to be appreciative".  That's rather telling language, isn't it?  They either appreciate assistance or they don't.  Elrich seems to be inadvertently admitting that most businesses are indeed chafing under his so-called "ambassadors".  But for those who still imagine that they live in a free country, he has this to say.  "Since they would not accept the help of the ambassadors and would not comply with the guidelines, we closed those businesses down."  And a hearty "seig heil!" to you, Mr County Executive!   The Grille was one of the businesses that felt the iron fist of the tyrants.

He then segues into some $14M of public assistance for businesses impacted by Covid.  Just where does he think that money will come from?  Hint!  If you live in Montgomery County, look in the mirror!  Don't have a job?  You'll be taxed anyway!  

Hey, Marc!  I've got a better idea!  Let the businesses open up, with no governmental fetters!  Then they won't need your assistance!  Or do you want them dependent on government?  You progressives are becoming more and more transparent about your goals and mindsets.

Montgomery County MD Slides Further Down The Cesspool

There's talk that the corona virus has awakened more interest in home schooling.  Since March much of the nation has had no choice in the matter since schools were closed.  When I first heard that public schools were closed, I wasn't that heartbroken for we are all well aware that public schools, by and large, have devolved into brainwashing centers that aim to turn out mind-numb, amoral cogs for the machine of the New World Order.

Thanks to Activist Mommy, we learn that a school district will start a series on LGBTQ+  studies!  The students don't learn their history (just the warped version leading them to despise their heritage), no civics or life skills, barely literate, but they just have to learn the "culture of LGBTQ"!  And where, oh where, is this pioneering district located?  Montgomery County, Maryland, of course!  That bastion of all things progressive and dumbed-down!

It was Montgomery County MD that was one of the first localities that tried to implement a NARAL-concocted scheme to shut down pro-life pregnancy centers (and had their behinds handed to them in court).  They've led the charge to force transgender "rights" down our throats and to have us fund the lawbreaking of illegal aliens. Late-term abortionist Leroy Carhart set up shop here because this county is so hospitable to baby-killers.

In other news, the State of Maryland is starting to crawl out from corona shut-down - except for one county.  Guess which one?

No Wonder I Don't Go Out At Night!!

I live in that liberal loony-bin called Montgomery County MD.  For various reasons, I cannot leave the place.  The Dem-dopes who run this place have declared Montgomery County to be a sanctuary for border-crashers.  That is to say that they won't cooperate with ICE to enforce our nations' immigration laws.  Of course they have the backing of the equally nefarious Maryland Catholic Conference.

From Fox News we hear that since July 25, seven of these border-crashers have been accused of rape.  Folks, that's one ever week!  Again, we don't have only the Democrat-ridden Montgomery County Council to thank for this, but also the area bishops.

2018 Maryland Primaries

Reminder - Faithful Catholics of MD/DC Inc is not a non-profit as defined by IRS sec 501(c).  That means this blog is free to make any endorsement that it deems fit.  Readers will notice that I drew heavily from the work of redmaryland.com.  Should you not see candidates from your district in the post below, please check that site out, along with others.

Maryland's primary elections will happen June 26 (with opportunities for early voting) so I'm taking a look at the candidates.  I won't bother with the Democrat primary since they are either pro-aborts or people whom the Democrat party in Maryland will submarine.

Hogan is running for governor again and he is unopposed.  Let's look the the candidates for US Senator.  Chris Chaffee supports the defunding of Planned Parenthood but is wishy-washy regarding gay #mowwidge.  Evan Cronhardt on the other hand sings the praises of Planned Parenthood and in addition to being pro-abort and pro-euthanasia, shows himself to be quite the progressive.  He is absolutely unacceptable.  Albert Binyahmin Howard appears to oppose euthanasia.  Quite honestly I'm not charmed with the photoshopped picture of Mount Rushmore on his website and the "issues" page on the site appears to be a smorgasbord of tweets.  Tony Campbell appears to be quite acceptable, as does Brian Vaeth.  Not so Bill Krehnbrink.  He might be if he didn't play the loose cannon.  When he bloviates that he wants "to replace every Maryland congressman", does that include Andy Harris?  As far as Nnabu Eze goes, why isn't he running as a Democrat, given his leftist leanings?  Blaine Taylor, if I understand the Red Maryland site properly indicates that he is pro-life but also for assisted suicide - as well as being for gun-grabbing.  He'd be a no-go for me.

As far as US Congress goes in District 6 (mine) I cannot recommend Amie Hoeber; she is so-called "pro-choice" and smells of progressivism on other issues.  So is Kurt Elsasser.  Lisa Lloyd and Bradley St Rohrs are much more preferable.  So now we have a dilemma here.  We can only vote for one of these two and we don't want to split the pro-life vote in District 6; there's so little of it as it is.  My read of the redmaryland sketches indicates that Lloyd might be the better of the two.

Gail Bates is running for State Senate in District 9.  She is solidly pro-life.  I can say the same for Michael Peroutka who is running for Anne Arundel County Council.  Other decent candidates include:

• Richmond Davis, running for US Congress from District 7
• Patricia Fenati, Montgomery County GOP Central Committee - at large
• Ms Fenati is also running for Delegate from District 14
• Andy Harris, running for re-election to Congress from District 1
• Dwight Patel, Montgomery County GOP Central Committee - District 20
• Josephine Wang - The Red Maryland site is unclear as to whether she's running for Montgomery County GOP Central Committee or State Senator from District 17.  Either way I recommend her.
• Thomas Sheahen - Garrett County GOP Central Committee 1A
• Kathy Szeliga - Delegate for District 7
• Gus Alzona - Montgomery County GOP Central Committee at-large 

If anyone has been paying attention to the kooky things coming from Maryland public schools (little boys punished for saying "pow" while high school kids play hooky while "marching for lives"), you'll understand that the various boards of education play a pivotal role in educating future citizens.  I for one would prefer that my tax dollars be used for truly useful and honest education and not progressive brain-washing; the latter is the order of business today in our schools. 

I will only focus on the Montgomery County Board of Education.  In the general elections I would recommend getting a hold of the "Apple ballot" from the workers at the door to see who the NEA endorsed and then vote against those endorsements.  Right now we don't have that luxury.  Of the at-large candidates:

• I'd avoid Julie Reiley.  She admires as "role models" Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton.
• Similarly, John Robertson admires Obama.  Need we say more?
• I couldn't find anything on Brandon Orman Rippeon as a candidate for the Board of Education, but he ran for Congress in 2011 on a fairly conservative platform.  He might be the safest bet.  I couldn't find anything on the other candidates.

Here are the BOE candidates for school district 3:

• Lynn Amano is endorsed by LGBTQ Democrats of Montgomery County and Progressive Neighbors - REJECT!
• Patricia O'Neill has been on the board for many years.  Where was she when the teachers went bonkers over the little boy in Silver Spring who was suspended for saying "pow" to a classmate?   Moreover, she is endorsed by some progressive "usual suspects" like Montgomery County Education Association, SEIU, CASA, and some Democrat clubs.  REJECT!
• That leaves Laura Simon.  Her redmaryland profile is rather non-descript.  However, compared to what we know of her two opponents, that is a plus.  I'm recommending voting for her if only to oppose meaningfully the two flaming progressives.

That is all I have - for now.  Remember to pray for wisdom and vote.  Both are serious morally-binding duties.

Another Reason Why Montgomery County MD Is A Liberal Loony Bin

I lived in Montgomery County MD most of my life so I'm well aware of the liberalism that oozes everywhere.  The southern part of the county, close to the DC border, is the worst section of the county.  Bethesda is in the middle of that, and that is the scene of one of the latest acts of stupidity.

In Bethesda is a "restaurant" called Community Restaurant and Lounge.  Even the name has such a nice progressive ring to it, doesn't it? Well, this dump is raising money for Planned Parenthood by selling a special burger.  They are calling this burger "golden showers".  That term refers to a particularly disgusting sexual perversion.  And how much do they want for this food item with the less-than-appetizing name?  A mere $20.00, and I'm sure that's before tax!  Look, things around here might be a bit more pricey than in other areas of the country, but..$20 for a food item named after a gross, diseased-filled sexual perversion?  Seriously?

Some people have objected to the management on the dump's facebook page.  The individual who runs the facebook page simply insulted the complainants.  So much for customer relations.

Anyway, please pass on the word to avoid that place like the plague.  Not only do we not want our money going to abortionists, but heaven only knows what might be found in the substances they refer to as food.

Just Another Liberal Maryland Pol Showing The Mind-Rotting Effects Of Liberalism

Her name is Ariana Kelly, a Democrat from Bethesda - one of the most liberal areas of Montgomery County.  She represents District 16 and I understand that she is one of the several candidates vying for the seat that Chris Van Hollen will vacate when he runs for Barbara Mikulski's US Senate seat.  A glance at her campaign page reveals endorsements from a gaggle of amoral progressives: Equality Maryland, SEIU, NARAL, etc.

Today the Washington Post revealed that in late June Kelly was arrested outside the home of her ex-husband on charges of trespass and indecent exposure.  When police arrived, the ex showed the officers cell-phone video of her antics.  When the officer asked her to leave or be arrested, she chose arrest.  It is said that she'll be "aggressively disputing" the charges.  Well, if a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is worth an encyclopedia.

The article mentions that Kelly is a member of a legislative task force that is "studying maternal mental health issues".  Is she the lab specimen for this study?

When primary day arrives for Maryland, will the voters of that area remember this incident and/or will they really care?  If the answer to either of these questions is "no", that will say far more about the liberal brain-rot that infests much of lower Montgomery County' population than it will about Kelly herself.

Our Picket Of Carafem Last Week

As announced in this post, we picketed Montgomery County's newest "abortion spa".  It was designed by pro-aborts to "take the stigma from abortion".  That's purely wishful thinking on their part, for there will always be stigma to heinous evils such as baby-murder.

On Saturday morning, May 23, we were in front of 5530 Wisconsin Avenue in Chevy Chase, displaying pictures of abortion victims and distributing informative post cards as you see to the right.  Earlier in the week, we had been informed that the mill would be open.  Later in the week, closer to the time of our picket, we were informed that they had decided to close for the day.  Indeed we saw no one enter the building.  That in and of itself proved the worth of our effort, for on that day no babies were slaughtered at Carafem.  Who knows how many children we were able save just by us being there?  That doesn't even count the people passing on the sidewalk who may silently have been contemplating abortion.
