Pope Francis Joked Of McCarrick Going To Hell

These jokes happened twice over the years, and the Cardinal thought them so hilarious that he couldn't resist rehashing the "charming" anecdotes.  Some questions come immediately to mind.
  1. Hell is a serious business.  It is one of the main missions of priests to save people from that horrible fate and direct them to heaven.  Since when do competent priests consider hell to be a joking matter?
  2. If, as Ms. Yore suggests, Pope Francis knew of McCarrick's sordid conduct with young men, why did he not address it appropriately?  Was he afraid of McCarrick or were the jokes a "wink-wink" sort of approval of his behavior?
Let us pray for the gift of repentance to the cardinal and all clergy who have engaged in this conduct, lest they suffer the horrifying fate about which they so glibly joke today.

Remnant On The Scalfari Hell Interview

A few days ago, another conversation between Pope Francis and Eugenio Scalfari happened.  As happened several times before, heretical statements were ascribed to the pope: statements that to date have not been specifically repudiated by either the pope or the Vatican Communications Office.  When Scalfari asked about the punishment of souls who die in mortal sin, the pope allegedly said that they aren't punished and they simply cease to exist.  Right there you have heresies against the existence of hell and the immortality of souls.

This conversation is all over mainstream media.  The pope needs to clarify his statements immediately if he never uttered those heresies.  If he did make those statements as reported, we will need to come to grips with the possibility that our pope has uttered heresies.

Franklin Graham Tells Truth About Fate Of Unrepentant Sinners

In light of the blitzkrieg attack that the gay-nazis and their progressive cronies are waging upon Jesus Christ and His Church vis-a-vis #mowwidge and the celebration of sexual perversion, I'd suggest we all listen to the words of Rev Franklin Graham.  He spells out the truth when he says that those who engage in such sins risk eternal hell fire.

Many should hear and obey it.  That is doubly true for those who've received the Sacrament of Holy Orders and are commissioned to preach the truth.  Sadly, too many of them demure from their task and even punish those priests who courageously endeavor to do so.  That means you, Cardinals Wuerl and Dolan!

Errors of Liberalism and Progressivism

The underlying philosophies of liberals and progressives, according to Michael Voris, is that man's problems can be solved by man alone.  They refuse to admit that man's problems originate in man's fallen human nature, fallen through Original Sin.  Of course, they also try to erase God from the equation.  We find this also in humanism; the Humanist Manifesto (in all its versions) is quite a study into their mental paradigms.  We also see this type of erroneous mentality in progressives within the Church.  They hold that the Church's primary mission is to solve man's problems - or what they perceive man's problems to be.  Hence we see the money in the USCCB being waylaid to all sorts of anti-life organizations in the name of "socal justice".

We can also thank them for presenting to Catholics such horse manure as the "lenten carbon fast".  Notice as you read that thing that there is no reference to eternity - no mention of heaven or hell, no mention of our need to secure eternal salvation, which has always been an authentic goal of Lent.
