Pelosi Sticks Both Feet In Mouth - Again!

She and Joe Biden must be competing for the title of "pro-abortion CINO politician who can make the biggest fool of him/herself".  Today during a press conference, she fudged her way around some questions regarding the proposed ban on abortion after 20 weeks.  She proceeds to say:

• "They are saying there is no abortion" (after the 1-minute mark).  No, the bill is meant to prohibit abortion after 20 weeks   Regardless of what one thinks of the 20-week demarcation, we all can see that she is misrepresenting the bill, probably deliberately so.
• She claims to be a "practicing Catholic" as she shills for baby-killing.  In other words, she says she's a "practicing Catholic" while she advocates the opposite of Catholic practice.
• She refuses to explain her reasoning, claiming it's "sacred ground" to her.

I can see where Pelosi comes from, with that "sacred ground" quip.  After all, to someone whose "god" is money and/or power, abortion might well be their "sacred cow".  There certainly is an abundance of blood money at the disposal of these abortionists, and they will dole it out to the politicians to keep them in their pockets.

Poor Nancy!  When Pendergraft's mill was dismantled today, she must have seen it as a profanation of her "sacred ground"!  Below is the video of Pelosi making a fool of herself.

Planned Parenthood, Gosnell, Carhart - There Is No Difference

Well, there might be some difference in how much of our tax dollars they get, but if the Messiah Most Miserable has his way, all the pigs will feed equally at the federal teets.   Those who work in the baby-killing industry, and even those who support it in any way, will have their hearts and minds perverted until they too become cold and calloused to all decency.

Gosnell Will Die Behind Bars

It is announced that Kermit Gosnell avoided the death penalty by waiving his right to appeal his two consecutive life sentences.  There will be no possibility of parole.  These two life sentences are for Baby C and Baby D; he is expected to receive another life sentence for the murder of Baby A.  At the age of 72, he still will have some time to ponder eternity - an eternity that will come soon for him.

Operation Rescue compiled a list of the various crimes for which he was found guilty.  What a guy.  At least he will shed no more innocent blood.  He has enough on his hands.  Let us pray that while he sits behind bars he will come to repentance and conversion before he is arraigned before the Supreme Judge.

Gosnell Declared Guilty

Today the jury found Kermit Gosnell guilty on three counts of first-degree murder (of three of the babies whose spinal cords he severed) and one involuntary manslaughter of a mother.  He was also found guilty of performing twenty-one illegal abortions and over two hundred counts of violating informed-consent provisions.

Operation Rescue, instrumental in forcing this sordid affair into national attention, has its account.   Jack McMahon, Gosnell's attorney, is blaming the media for the conviction - you know, the mainstream media who had to be shamed via tweetfest into paying attention to this mass-murderer.  Why not try blaming the criminal for committing the crime?  What a novel idea that would be!  But McMahon wasn't finished spreading the blame around.  Apparently there's something called a "baby-factor" that caused Kermit's conviction.  Baby-factor!  That's a new one!  In other words, we blame the babies for being, well, babies?

He is eligible for the death penalty.  On May 21 the jury will determine the sentence.  At the very least, he'll have the rest of his life to ponder the mess he's made out of his life, safely kept away from any more babies.  For his sake, we pray that he repents lest he be condemned to far worse punishment when at last he must answer before God.

Oh, by the way - recall that Planned Parenthood coddles "post-birth" abortion!

Bret Baier On Kermit Gosnell

Yesterday Bret Baier of Fox News did a special report on Kermit Gosnell, the butcher of Philadelphia.  Actually, Gosnell is not THE butcher, but just one whose sloppiness and murder trial has placed him in prominence.  All abortionists are butchers, when you get right down to it.

The "youtube" is up and I'll post it below.  In many ways, it's an indictment on the State of Pennsylvania (particularly the Health Department) as much as it is on Gosnell himself.  Hint: the State of Maryland may want to sit up and take notice regarding its own conduct (or lack thereof) in its handling of the Leroy Carhart situation.

Father Guarnizo On Gosnell And Banality Of Evil

Contraception And Gosnell

Bishop James Conley of Lincoln Nebraska reminded us all that the atrocities committed by Gosnell and all abortionists are a logical consequence of the contraception mentality - one that allows the sexual act to be severed from God's plan for marriage and family life.  He points out that one reason the media has been ignoring the Gosnell situation (until very recently) is that they themselves are mental and spiritual slaves of the anti-life climate that infects so much of modern (or more accurately, post-modern) society today.

He is spot-on correct.  Until we attack the culture of death at its roots and eradicate it, we'll continue to see "houses of horror" emerge everywhere.

Infanticide In Washington DC

After hearing how some abortionists suggest flushing of babies down toilets, it is (sadly) no surprise to hear of similar situations coming from baby-killers from within the nation's capital.  Today Live Action released a video of a conversation with abortionist Cesare Santangelo of the Washington Surgi-Clinic (located at 2112 F St NW #400).  Lifesite News and the Washington Post both published pieces about this video; needless to say, their perspectives differ ever so slightly.

I direct your attention to the rally announcement to the right.  Lila Rose is one of the speakers.  The other, Melissa Ohden, started life as one of those "aborted fetuses" who survived her mother's abortion attempt and who would have been considered fair game for vultures such as Santangelo, Gosnell, Carhart and way too many others.

Flushing Babies Down The Sewer

For this abortuary worker at a New York City abortuary, that is a perfectly acceptable method of disposing of murdered babies who emerge at their mothers' homes.  You'll hear this worker casually give to Lila Rose this sage advise; her nonchalance can only stem from ignorance and/or callousness.

Before I post the video, I suggest you pay special attention at the 5:23 mark, where they discuss when it might be appropriate to call a hospital.  The worker states in no uncertain terms that she is NOT supposed to  do that.  Sound familiar?  Remember Jennifer Morbelli's death?  Carhart likewise instructed her family not to contact the hospital.  Only when he himself was incommunicado did the family finally contact Shady Grove Hospital; by that time it was too late.  Also, notice the first woman started at the age of 16 (or so she says).  Did the mill have her doing any unauthorized procedures as did Gosnell?

Pro-Abortion And Pro-Gay Criminals

Yesterday, Scott Swirling of Gaithersburg MD pleaded guilty of soliciting sex with a 12-year old.  Earlier this year he went into DC for what he thought was a romp but it was a sting conducted by an undercover DC police officer.  By the way - Swirling was at one time the executive director of National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association.

Today it was reported that Charlie Rogers, a lesbian from Nebraska, was found guilty of faking a "hate crime" upon her person.  Why she is only serving one week in jail is beyond me.  Had some poor schlub been framed for the fake crime, he/she most certainly would have served a much longer sentence.

And of course there's Kermit Gosnell - no, I will NOT call him "doctor"!  The trial goes on, with one worker testifying that she saw as many as 14 babies born alive.

Such is the (lack of) virtue of those who shill for the culture of death.  May God have mercy on us all.

Oh drat those Republican meanies in the Senate!  They didn't let Obama have his way with the gun control votes yesterday.  Oh wait!  My bad!  The Senate is controlled by the Dems!  Ooops!  They let down their Dear Leader!  Aw, shucky-darn!

Media Bias Motivates Lack Of Gosnell Coverage

Most of my readers are aware that Kermit Gosnell (I refuse to call him "doctor") has been on trial in Philadelphia for multiple murder charges.  Hitherto most of the lame-brain media have been silent on the matter.  Many pro-lifers engaged in a "tweet" campaign which seems to have embarrassed some of the media into admitting their own bias.

Jill Stanek points out that CNN's Anderson Cooper did a segment (embedded below) on the Gosnell situation and apparent cover-ups of not only the media but the state of Pennsylvania.  As you watch the video, please notice at the 5:50 mark a passing reference to a woman being referred to Gosnell's place by a Maryland abortuary.  I wonder how much these referrals dried up after Leroy Carhart opened up his own hell hole in Germantown. Two Abortion Workers Plead Guilty To Murder

I touched a bit on Kermit Gosnell, a Philadelphia abortionist, who was under investigation for the death of a woman at his abortuary.  It became clear that a practice of his was to sever the spinal cords of the little ones who managed to exit their mothers' wombs alive.

Today it was announced that two of Gosnell's staff are pleading guilty of third-degree murder for their roles in the death of the woman and of a baby born alive during one such failed abortion.  Lifesite News has more details, as well as more details of the disgusting conditions that were found in Gosnell's slaughter-house.  Operation Rescue posted photos of some of the little victims.  It's so repugnant even the Washington Post found it impossible to ignore (read the comments that excoriate those who continue to pretend that abortion is just a "choice").

So two of them are pleading guilty in this case, while others (including Gosnell himself) will likely be deemed guilty of murder.  The fact is that anyone working in the abortion industry is guilty of murder.  I don't know the degree of individual culpability, but it's reasonable to opine that with any basic training in biology, as the doctors would have, would come realization that they are deliberately taking the life of an innocent person - the definition of murder.  God help them and God help anyone who remains silent, passive and apathetic in the face of such monstrous evil in our society.

More On Kermit Gosnell, Philadelphia Baby Butcher

On Wednesday, I reported on the arrest of Kermit Gosnell, the Philadelphia abortionist charged with eight counts of murder.  He was arrested with several accomplices, including his wife.  Operation Rescue has provided mug shots of these characters, along with charges filed against them.  Note how many are charged with performing medical procedures with no license.  The same Operation Rescue page links to the official grand jury report, as well as some photos of the murder victims.  I warn you, they are graphic, but they depict the horror of what those little people endured as they were brutally murdered.

Syndicated columnist Michelle Malkin writes about this, making the point that many officials and agencies knew of the horrific events - or at least had reasonable cause to suspect something amiss - yet looked the other way.   The National Abortion Federation was one of them.  Meanwhile Jeffrey Kuhner of the Washington Times aptly describes Gosnell's mill as a "house of horrors akin to those in Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia".  I urge you to read it.

Philadelphia Abortionist Arrested On Eight Counts Of Murder

Last evening Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell, his wife and eight other suspects were arrested on eight counts of murder.  Seven of the victims were babies who were born alive, then murdered when Gosnell jabbed the backs of their necks with scissors and snapped their spinal cords.  The eighth was a woman whose death he caused by overdosing her with painkillers.  Besides these deaths, his other behavioral outrages include:

• illegally prescribing medications
• improperly licensed, or non-licensed staff
• filthy conditions at his mills
• leaving aborted baby body parts in a woman, nearly causing her death
