And So The Sin-Nod Begins

Michael Voris of ChurchMilitant.TV is covering the sin-nod as it progresses.  Today's Vortex is the first installment (I believe).  In it he mentions that a goal that many progressives have for it is the normalization of homosexuality in the Church.  That is a reasonable hypothesis.  I also point out that many of us believe that this sin-nod is rigged and that it merely serves as a front to insinuate progressive documents to change "pastoral practice" in the Church.  We know that Our Lord will not allow solemnly-proclaimed dogma to change, but the change of practice can have very similar effects and most likely with devastating consequences.

Voice of the Family is the organization to which Voris alludes that produced the expose of the sin-nod's Instrumentum Laboris.  During last year's debacle, they were one of several leading voices for truth and sanity there.  They would be worthwhile to follow as this thing unfolds.

Voris made mention of Msgr Krzysztof Charamsa, who has worked since 2003 at the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith and has also taught theology at various pontifical universities.  He recently "came out as gay", that is, he announced and wallowed in his mortal sin of sodomy.  He did this in a press conference with his accomplice in mortal sin.  Here is a brief account of that mess, along with the announcement of Father Federico Lombardi that Chramsa was dismissed.  But take note of Lombardi's words.  Charamsa was publicly rebuked not because of his sins against nature, chastity and his priestly vows, but because his announcement "on the eve of the synod appears very serious and irresponsible".  In other words, he's simply being spanked for embarrassing all the other homophiles in the Vatican, possibly tipping their hands.

Two years ago, Father Dariusz Oko published an expose of the gay-mafia within the Vatican.  He recently gave an interview concerning the Chramsa matter (ht- Toronto Catholic Witness).  He seems to state that Charamsa is just one part of the "lavendar mafia" within the Vatican.  I think he's right.  Now today's Vortex.

GWU Gays Launch Persecution Campaign Against Catholic Chaplain

Two gay students at George Washington University are shocked (just shocked, I tell you!) that the Catholic chaplain on campus is acting like (gasp!) a Catholic chaplain!!   Oh, the horror of it all!  They claim that Father Greg Shaffer's proclamation of Catholic truth causes them to (wait for it!) feel alienated.  One is left wondering from what they feel alienated.

In all seriousness, it is true that Damian Legacy's and Blake Bergen's gay lifestyle have indeed alienated themselves from God's love and (while they persist in mortal sin) eternal salvation.  One might hope that such feelings of alienation would cause them to take serious stock of their sinful lives, leave the practice of homosexuality and go to confession before they really find themselves alienated for all eternity.  We will pray for their repentance - and the repentance of those other twelve individuals.

Legacy and Bergen claim to "be upset about the counseling" that Father offers to homosexuals: to live chaste lives.  Again, when one goes to a Catholic priest for counseling, should they really be surprised that he is going to counsel them in the way he knows to be the truth?  If they just don't like what Father is saying, they can always go elsewhere, can they not?  And were they compelled under duress to seek Father out in the first place?  No, they heard Father alright, and their consciences are smarting.  Their behavior is reminiscent of the pharisees who held their hands over their ears as they rushed to stone Stephen the first martyr as the latter rebuked their sinfulness.  They hate the truth for it exposes the stench of their own conduct so they proceed on a mad rush to quash it.

The article goes on to say that Legacy was considering the priesthood before Father Shaffer arrived on campus.  Perhaps Legacy didn't like seeing how a real priest lives and carries on his ministry.  Legacy abandoned his own "priesthood" pipe-dream for which I cry "Deo Gratias!"

Pray for Father Shaffer and all priests.  Pray that they might proclaim God's truth unabashedly.

Father Guarnizo On Sloppy Reporting Of The Pope's Departure

Father Guarnizo knows quite a bit of sloppy journalism and liberal bias found within the lame-brain-main-stream media.  He himself suffered quite a bit due to their slop and malevolence last year.  From the Catholic News Agency read what he has to say about Paddy Agnew and the Irish Times.  I think most with two functioning brain neurons will agree with him.

The Gay Mafia In The Church

Read from this blog what St Peter Damian, himself a bishop and Church Doctor, had to say regarding the mortal sin of homosexual conduct.  It's clear that sodomy was to be found among clergy of his day.  However, it doesn't seem that even in that troubled era in which Peter Damian lived, the moral rot had extended into the Vatican as it has done today.
