St Peter Damian, Pray For Our Pervert-Coddling Prelates!

It is no coincidence whatsoever that the "sex abuse sin-nod" has convened on the feast day of St. Peter Damian, a prelate and Doctor of the Church who fought vigorously against the sins of sodomy that infested the clergy of his day.  We beg his intercession for this "summit" is most likely intended as a farce to induce the faithful to believe that they will address the root causes of sex abuse by clergy when in reality they are only interested in mollifying us and providing cover for perverted clergy - some of whom might well be participating in that sin-nod.

Not all bishops are partaking of the kool-aid.  Two days ago, Cardinals Brandmuller and Burke, the two remaining dubia Cardinals, issued an open letter to the summit attendees.  In that letter, the two cardinals challenged the attendees to break the silence regarding homosexuality.  They stated that ,"The plague of the homosexual agenda has been spread within the Church, promoted by organized networks and protected by a climate of complicity and a conspiracy of silence."  Yesterday Brandmuller released a statement reemphasizing the role of homosexuality as a major plague in the Church.  Meanwhile, Archbishop Vigano today issued his own statement to the attendees urging them to convert.  So here we have Cardinals Burke and Brandmuller, with Archbishop Vigano, speaking truth to corrupt power.  Perhaps that is why they were not invited to attend.

Let's look at these "organized networks" to which Cardinals Burke and Brandmuller alluded.  They are real and they are powerful.  In his report on this sin-nod today, Michael Voris details how this network, most likely established by Bella Dodd (before she converted to Catholicism) and probably launched the horrific rampage known as McCarrick's career.  One of these networks is known as "St Gallen's mafia" and most likely played a role in strong-arming the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI and then shoving Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio into the papacy.  These networks insinuated many clandestine perverts and Communists into the clergy.

The sin-nod is silent on this because now the Vatican is most likely in league with these networks and doesn't want the light shone on their plans and deeds.  Just take a look at these "21 reflection points" that the pope wants the sin-nod attendees to consider.  Do you see the word "homosexual" mentioned once therein?  I don't!  I don't even see the word "sin" in this mish-mosh, much less repentance and Confession.  And what's with all this jibber-jabber about "protocols" and "norms"?  All that's needed is to reaffirm the Church's immutable teachings on morality and faith.  It's not at all complicated, but these charlatans want the matter to appear like it is so that they might avoid accountability.

As I look at that picture of St. Peter Damian and ponder his question, I have to think that for today's perverted cabal in the Church, we know the answer.  They deliberately seek to undermine the Church.  In so doing, they goad many souls to hell, including their own, if they die unrepentant.  Therein lies some hope, for if Bella Dodd could convert, so can they.  But for some of them, McCarrick especially, the sands of time are running out.  Pray that they are converted and pray that the damage they did can be reversed.

Bishop Morlino Stands Out From Sickening Reactions From His Brother Prelates

Among the "sickening reactions" are those from Pope Francis himself.  I'll get into that.  First let us take a look at the open letter that Bishop Robert Morlino of the Diocese of Wisconsin issued.  This is a letter that I urge you to download to your own machines.  He openly states that the scandal is homosexual in nature; it's the "elephant in the living room" that so many of the prelates refuse to acknowledge.  Why do they refuse to acknowledge it?  Perhaps they themselves are engaging in mortally sinful sodomy and/or they are being blackmailed on account of it.  Or perhaps they are simply cowards who don't want to buck politically-correct societal sentiments for fear of backlash or losing donations.  Pray that more bishops may face and state the facts as candidly as Morlino.

One such questionable prelate is Archbishop Wilton Gregory of Atlanta GA.  He decided to appoint three priests as "diocesan spiritual directors" for victims of clerical abuse.  One of those "directors" however, is pastor of an extremely gay-affirming parish.  This parish holds social events for GLTB "couples" and hosts booths at "pride" events.  Isn't this more of the "foxes guarding the hen houses"?

In the Diocese of Syracuse NY sits a bishop, Robert Cunningham, who three years ago opined that the rape victims of these pervert priests share culpability.  Mind you, he was specifically speaking of 7-year-old victims, giving the excuse that they had attained the use of reason.  So I suppose he thinks female rape victims are culpable as well?  Generally in these cases the perpetrator is bigger than the victim and can easily overpower them.  Did Bishop Cunningham not consider that?  Or is he actually trying to excuse misconduct?  I wonder if it's his own misconduct (if only his cowardice) that he tried to justify?  What is truly mystifying is why he still sits in that chancery.  Why hasn't the pope removed him?

Some of the pope's appointments have been similarly mystifying.  From LifeSiteNews, we read that he recently consecrated as bishop a Portuguese priest who supports a nun in her promotion of abortion and homosexuality. He himself claims that Jesus "didn't establish rules".  That of course is a flat-out lie.  To those who think that the pope could not have known this about Father Mendonca, I reply that is absolute rubbish and an exercise in self-deception on your part.  If LifeSiteNews could glean these facts that are publicly available, so too could the pope.

The Vatican finally issued a statement regarding the scandal unearthed by the downfall of a major supporter of the pope's election- McCarrick, of course.  The statement said that the Vatican is in "shame and sorrow" over the mess and to the victims "the pope is on their side".  So what?  Big deal!  Who cares what the Vatican says?  The real question is what will they do?  So far they haven't done much.

The Catholic Laity Need To Wake Up

That is a key theme found in an article called "The Catholic Church Is A Cesspool".  The title is true enough if by "Catholic Church" he means the institutional structure that is infested with perverts and their toads.  Among the actions he suggests is the withholding of donations to bishops' collection.  In the Archdiocese of Washington, that would mean the complete boycott of the "Communications and Human Development" (really the CCHD collection) that will happen during the weekend of August 4-5.  We in this archdiocese simply cannot give financial aid to Cardinal McCarrick and his henchmen any longer.

Randy Engel, who wrote "Rite Of Sodomy" many years ago, gave an analysis of the situation that was published in AKA Catholic.  In light of what she wrote, it makes sense how McCarrick and others were able to get away with their crimes (and resultant destruction of faith if not lives) of so many young men.  She, like I, believe that he will retire quietly and live out the rest of his earthly life in relative comfort.  She too believes that such will be enabled by the "short and faulty memory of American Catholics".  She got that right.  I live in the parish where six years ago Father Marcel Guarnizo was ousted because he obeyed Canon 915.  I wonder how many of my fellow parishioners even remember that (a few do, but not too many)?

The fact is that we laity are not mere "little people" who have no clout.  In addition to our own prayer (especially the Rosary), we must utilize our rights as laity.  We must speak out, and even speak in rebuke to these prelates, should we ever encounter them.  And of course we hold the "power of the purse".  Until these prelates come clean (and that might be never), we should never contribute one red penny to any bishop's or USCCB-affiliated collection.  Why should we finance their lawsuit settlements and their cushy "lives of secluded penance"?  Don't forget to advise your chanceries of your cessation of donations.  There are plenty of other worthy recipients of your donation dollars.

For residents in the Archdiocese of Washington, that is, McCarrick's home diocese, that would mean that we completely boycott the upcoming CCHD collection during the weekend of Aug 4-5.  Of course the CCHD was always unworthy of our donations, but now we have even more reason to starve to death that beast known as the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

The abuse of young men by perverts in the clergy is nothing new.  In times past, though, the Church knew how to deal with it.  Consider these words of St. Basil the Great (as quoted by St. Peter Damian) regarding that topic:

"Any cleric or monk who seduces young men or boys, or who is apprehended in kissing or in any shameful situation, shall be publicly flogged and shall lose his clerical tonsure. Thus shorn, he shall be disgraced by spitting into his face, bound in iron chains, wasted by six months of close confinement, and for three days each week put on barley bread given him toward evening. Following this period, he shall spend a further six months living in a small segregated courtyard in the custody of a spiritual elder, kept busy with manual labor and prayer, subjugated to vigils and prayers, forced to walk at all times in the company of two spiritual brothers, never again allowed to associate with young men for purposes of improper conversation or advice,”

Wise words indeed.

Some Closer Looks At The Vatican Gay-Drug Orgy

Last Tuesday I posted about the drug/sex orgy inside Vatican facilities that was busted by local police.  This occurred in the apartment of Msgr Capozzi, who was so high on cocaine that he had to taken to a local hospital for detoxification.

LifeSiteNews has summarized key facts about this debacle, while Toronto Catholic Witness broaches more considerations, including the obvious cover-up.   Capozzi's boss, Cardinal Coccopalmerio, said that Catholic leaders "must emphasize the positive realities that are present in homosexual relationships".  Bear in mind that this man is head of the Pontifical Council for the Interpretation of Legal Texts.  Did the Cardinal just give us a glimpse of the kind of "interpretations" that will spew forth from his council?  When he made his remarks, did he know of Capozzi's gay escapades?  I suspect the answer to both of those questions is "yes".

Speaking of "emphasizing positive realities", several US parishes are in fact coddling sodomite sin.  Church Militant advises us of a California parish that is celebrating its sodomite parish council member in their bulletin.  Just one hour's drive from me is a moral cesspool that used to be Catholic parish; I refer to St. Matthew's in Baltimore (on Loch Raven Boulevard).  I've written enough about that, but will most likely have more  to report.

We will need to both pray and act.  One cannot truly happen without the other.

Open Letter To Archbishop Lori Regarding St. Matthew's On Loch Raven Boulevard

Archbishop Lori, for several years now, St. Matthew's on Loch Raven Boulevard has been led by Father Joseph Muth.  At his direction this parish has openly promoted the mortal sin of sodomy within its parish structures.  It has openly participated in Baltimore's "gay pride days" these past several years.  With its parish organization known as LEAD, it is fostering and hastening the damnation of numerous parishioners.  A Catholic parish is supposed to be a place where Catholics can receive teaching and Sacraments that will assist them in their ultimate goal for heaven, not delude them into committing mortal sins that will hinder if not prevent their salvation.  Sadly, it is the latter that has been occurring for several years now.  You and your chancery staff cannot pretend to be ignorant of this travesty.

The scandals from that parish continue to multiply.  This parish apparently is having elections for its parish council.  According to its May 28th bulletin, one candidate is Jordan Differding.  I link to the bulletin now.  On page six, Mr. Differding plainly states that he is "engaged" to another man and that the two plan to "marry" on June 17 (I pray it's not at St Matthew's).  Differding, on his Facebook page, is quite up front regarding his disordered tendencies.   Father Muth cannot claim ignorance about the fact that a candidate for parish council has openly proclaimed his perversion and his intention to live in mortal sin.  Given Father Muth's history, it is likely that he applauds Differding's debauchery.

Your Excellency, enough is enough.  You cannot allow Catholic souls to be scandalized by a parish that is literally being led to hell.  You, as bishop, have some accountability before God for these souls, and those of the rest of the Baltimore archdiocese who stand to be led astray not only by the filth pouring forth from this parish, but also by the abysmal silence of its shepherds.

So what will you do??

Sin-Nod: A Thinly-Veiled Attempt To Cram The Gay Agenda Down Catholic Throats?

Within these past few days we have seen "synod fathers" acts as apologists for sodomy.  ChurchMilitant.TV reports that an Austrialian archbishop favors "less condemnatory language" with regards to the mortal sins of sodomy and adultery.  One wonders if he would like to edit several of the epistles of St Paul that are found in the Bible for they clearly state that those engaging in such sins will suffer hell fire if they die unrepentant.

LifeSiteNews published an article by Phil Lawler regarding the obvious attempt to rig the sin-nod, an attempt that many of us have noticed..  I urge you to read it.  Note two things:
  • Much of this strong-arming is being done by Cardinal Baldiserri, secretary of the synod.  Recall that there is a reason that I dubbed him "Book-Thief Baldi".  Hold that thought as you ponder this revelation: that of homosexual propaganda being distributed at the sin-nod with authorization of higher-ups. (ht - Toronto Catholic Witness)  This is confirmed by Archbishop Gadecki.  So the sin-nod honchos (Baldiserri included) resort to theft to prevent circulation of Remaining In The Truth of Christ, a book authored by several prelates that champions the teaching of Jesus Christ, but they allow distribution of tripe that justifies homosexual conduct.  Those engaging in such distribution find themselves in the unenviable position of cooperating with mortal sin and that is its own mortal sin, by the way.
  • In Lawler's last paragraph, we read, "The Pope ultimately controls the process. The Pope will ultimately control the product."  True enough; he does.  But considering what was revealed about the "shadow synod", along with all the other little meetings that have been occurring at the Vatican, might this rigging be part and parcel of an attempt to insinuate the proceeds of the "shadow synod" into Church life?   The procedural changes that Lawler noted would make it difficult for faithful prelates to discern whether or not any final documents were truly representative of their deliberations.
I'm going to venture a guess and I think it's one shared by many.  The so-called "synod reports" are already drafted, and they will "change pastoral practice" to allow for the admittance to Holy Communion those living in de facto adultery AND to "mainstream" sodomite shack-up situations into Church society.  This sin-nod will only serve to lend an aura of legitimacy to the de facto heresy that probably has already been concocted by this "shadow synod", to be foisted on unsuspecting Catholics.  Could that be why Cardinal Reinhard Marx appears to be a bundle of joy and giggles now (as reported by One Peter Five, despite past hints of going into schism?  If that is the case - and I hope and pray that I'm incorrect - the Pope will fully own such a travesty.

In light of my hypothesis, other news makes sense as we consider the strategy of progressives to normalize homosexuality within the Church.  Voice of the Family has informed us that gay-coddling Cardinal Vincent Nichols will be moderating one of the English-speaking small groups at the sin-nod.  Of course he will have much discretion as to what is included in the report for that group.  We also hear from Church Militant that a priest in the diocese of Oakland CA gave a homily at Mass telling his parishioners that "being gay is not sinful".  To make matters even more scandalous, the homily was published in the official diocesan newspaper.  Clearly these events are part of the #maturation process to brainwash us to submit to the gay agenda.

Let us continue to pray and to shine the light of truth on cockroaches.

And So The Sin-Nod Begins

Michael Voris of ChurchMilitant.TV is covering the sin-nod as it progresses.  Today's Vortex is the first installment (I believe).  In it he mentions that a goal that many progressives have for it is the normalization of homosexuality in the Church.  That is a reasonable hypothesis.  I also point out that many of us believe that this sin-nod is rigged and that it merely serves as a front to insinuate progressive documents to change "pastoral practice" in the Church.  We know that Our Lord will not allow solemnly-proclaimed dogma to change, but the change of practice can have very similar effects and most likely with devastating consequences.

Voice of the Family is the organization to which Voris alludes that produced the expose of the sin-nod's Instrumentum Laboris.  During last year's debacle, they were one of several leading voices for truth and sanity there.  They would be worthwhile to follow as this thing unfolds.

Voris made mention of Msgr Krzysztof Charamsa, who has worked since 2003 at the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith and has also taught theology at various pontifical universities.  He recently "came out as gay", that is, he announced and wallowed in his mortal sin of sodomy.  He did this in a press conference with his accomplice in mortal sin.  Here is a brief account of that mess, along with the announcement of Father Federico Lombardi that Chramsa was dismissed.  But take note of Lombardi's words.  Charamsa was publicly rebuked not because of his sins against nature, chastity and his priestly vows, but because his announcement "on the eve of the synod appears very serious and irresponsible".  In other words, he's simply being spanked for embarrassing all the other homophiles in the Vatican, possibly tipping their hands.

Two years ago, Father Dariusz Oko published an expose of the gay-mafia within the Vatican.  He recently gave an interview concerning the Chramsa matter (ht- Toronto Catholic Witness).  He seems to state that Charamsa is just one part of the "lavendar mafia" within the Vatican.  I think he's right.  Now today's Vortex.

Two Interviews Tell Quite The Tale

Two days ago we heard news about the pope' interview with Kim Davis while he was in town last week.  It turns out he had another interview of a very different kind.  A former student of the pope's, Yayo Grassi, met with him.  This student, a male, brought along with him his accomplice in the mortal sin of sodomy, as well as his mother.  LifeSiteNews has more details along with video.  The video shows the pope embracing his former student and warmly shaking the other sodomite's hand.  The mother of the student appears overcome with emotion.  I wonder what it can be, given her son is living in mortal sin?  All are speaking in Italian I believe.  Does anyone have a decent  idea of the conversation?

The pope is the chief shepherd of souls.  Nowhere do I see any exhortation of the pope to the two men that they must separate lest they risk damnation and an eternity in hell.  This interview was scandalous, and those most scandalized were the two gays, as well as all others who either participate in, or support that evil.  It is they who stand to literally lose their souls owing to the lack of spiritual mercy being shown them.  Let us remember that the first Spiritual Work of Mercy is to "rebuke the sinner".

Now we hear news that the Vatican has shifted into "damage control mode" over the interview,   Father Rosica has acknowledged that the interview had "negative impact" while Father Lombardi said the meeting should not be considered a show of support.  But wait a minute!  These two Vatican officials weren't speaking of the Grassi interview, but rather the one with Kim Davis.  In fact, Father Lombardi went so far as to say, "The only real audience granted by the Pope at the Nunciature was with one of his former students and his family (Grassi)".  See this LifeSiteNews piece for details.

Let's unpack this, shall we?  After news broke of the Davis meeting, all the progressives waxed huffy about it, expressing   Well, my goodness!  The Vatican progressives can't have any of that going on now, can they?  That goes double due to the sin-nod that will commence next week.  So they immediately had to start groveling before their puppet-masters and sugar-daddies and claim that the Davis interview is fake while the Grassi one was the real deal.  Got that?  Good!

This gives us more of a picture of what kind of circus this sin-nod will be.  Pray!

Now A Prelate Utters Yet Another Horrid Statement

Nearly nine years ago in the Diocese of St Petersburg, Florida, Terri Schiavo was deliberately starved to death by order of her adulterous husband.  Jeb Bush, current presidential wanna-bee, was governor at that time and did nothing of substance to save her life.  He has demonstrated his utter lack of moral courage and his ineligibility to be considered presidential material, but that topic will be saved for another time.  We now turn our attention to Bishop Robert Lynch.

Bishop Robert Lynch was the local ordinary at that time, and still is.  Not only did he stand by and do nothing, but he issued a statement that literally gave Michael Schiavo a blessing to continue to murder his wife.  He uttered not one peep of condemnation for the murder that was taking place in his own diocese.  Read the incredible statement here.  I might also point out that he forbade his priests to minister to Terri in her last days.  After her death, he would not allow the Schindler family to conduct any memorial service in his diocese.  HOWEVER - he did allow Michael Schiavo to marry his long-term concubine in a diocesan church.  What a guy!

Fast forward to today.  Bishop Lynch is undoubtedly participating in the "maturation effort".  Remember - Pope Francis said we had one year to mature before the next October synod!  On Tuesday he issued a statement in which he opined that the Church needs "humility in light of same sex marriage".  You might be wondering just what the hell he means by that; well, read on.  Here's a choice statement that begs for unpacking.  "Therefore, I do not wish to lend our voice to notions which might suggest that same-sex couples are a threat incapable of sharing relationships marked by love and holiness and, thus, incapable of contributing to the edification of both the church and the wider society."
  • "Threat"?  I won't comment on the individuals involved per se.  We cannot deny that their sodomite situations are serious threats - to the concept of marriage, family life and yes, to those participating in those perverted relationships.  Those engaging in such sins threaten their immortal souls and those with whom they claim to be "in love".
  • incapable of sharing relationships marked by love and holiness  Indeed they are that incapable.  There is no "love and holiness" in mortally sinful situations.  If they continue to live that way, they are headed for hell. By their sin they disdain the graces needed for true charity and holiness.  Did Bishop Lynch flunk his Baltimore Catechism lessons?
  • contributing to the edification of both the church and the wider society  What they are "contributing is NOT to the "edification" of anything.  Rather, they are part and parcel of the culture of death and damnation.  Suffering for them can only result in this life and much more so in the afterlife IF they don't repent of their sin and go to confession.
Besides his cheer-leading for the sin-nod (as you can see in his statement), Bishop Lynch may well have other reasons for shilling for the acceptance of the gay lifestyle.  In Randy Engel's book The Rite of Sodomy, she details Bishop Lynch's own sordid escapades.

Nine years ago Bishop Lynch gave de facto blessing to Michael Schiavo as the latter had his wife murdered.  Tuesday he did the same for those living in sodomy.  Will his brother bishops rebuke him?  I wouldn't hold my breath, but would love to be pleasantly surprised by such actions.

Pray for Holy Mother Church and her leaders.  Shine the light of truth.

From The Maturation Department - Another Reason Why Cdl Kasper Might Be In Town?

Call me cynical, but I find it hard to believe that Cardinal Kasper would take the time and trouble to fly across the Atlantic just to receive one bauble and make one speech at Catholic University of America on November 6 (see previous post).  It dawned on me just this morning that I should check out the precise dates of the USCCB's annual November meeting in nearby Baltimore.  Sure enough!  The scheduled dates are Nov 10 - 13, at the Marriott Waterfront in Baltimore (Inner Harbor area).

So Kasper's CUA appearance is the evening of Thursday the 6th.  The USCCB meeting starts the following Monday.  Will he be putting in an appearance at the meeting?  Here's the USCCB info about this meeting.  Am I the only one who finds this agenda to be rather curious for what's NOT on it?  Two weeks ago occurred one of the most controversial meetings in recent church history.  Yet the word "synod" is not to be found on the USCCB page that's dedicated to this meeting.

I'm willing to go out on a limb and opine that the SinNod most certainly will be discussed at the meeting that will start one week from tomorrow.  After all, there is only this meeting, with next summer's meeting, to browbeat faithful bishops "help" faithful bishops to "mature".  I also think that the main reason for Kasper's trip is to attend that meeting OR, at the very least, to drive some of the preparation for that meeting during the preceding weekend after his CUA appearance.  I understand that this CUA award is prestigious, but it cannot be so wondrous as to justify a transatlantic trip!

By the way - would Cardinal Burke be invited to this USCCB meeting?  I'd be pleasantly surprised if he was, but I think not.

Homosexuals And Freemasons In The Church

Michael Voris's Mic'd Up, produced last week, was just released in youtube format yesterday.  In it he interviews Randy Engel, author of "Rite of Sodomy".  I'd suggest that you read this book.  By the way - what she has to say about the role of the USCCB is just one more in the litany of reasons why the USCCB needs to be scuttled - not "reformed" but utterly demolished.

In the second portion Voris interviews John Salza, a former 32nd degree mason who is now warning of the dangers of freemasonry.  Salza makes mention of the consecration of Russia that Our Lady of Fatima requested.  Let's be clear: the consecration of Russia, per Our Lady's specific request, has NOT happened!  There is a reputed quote from Sr Lucia that she conceded that Russia was consecrated.  We did not hear this from Sr Lucia herself and now we never will.  Frankly I don't believe that report of her statement.  Our Lady did not request that "the world" be consecrated, but that the Holy Father consecrate Russia - by name - and in union with all the bishops.  Now either they believe Our Lady of Fatima, or they don't!  If they do, why the foot-dragging when it comes to obeying her specific requests?

In this interview with Salza, Voris alludes to a "Faith-Based Investigation" report on freemasonry that appears to go into greater detail.  When that is available I will post it.
