Pell And Neumayr - Their Suspicious Deaths

Cardinal George Pell passed away ten days ago, on January 10, 2023.  He had only been released a short while ago while unjustly imprisoned on rather trumped-up charges.  Just before his death, the Spectator published what is now His Eminence's final article dealing with the working document for the upcoming "Synod on Synodality".  He had some choice, accurate words to say about the 45-page bloviation.  To wit:

"What is one to make of this potpourri, this outpouring of New Age good will? It is not a summary of Catholic faith or New Testament teaching. It is incomplete, hostile in significant ways to the apostolic tradition and nowhere acknowledges the New Testament as the Word of God, normative for all teaching on faith and morals. The Old Testament is ignored, patriarchy rejected and the Mosaic Law, including the Ten Commandments, is not acknowledged

"The Catholic Synod of Bishops is now busy constructing what they think of as ‘God’s dream’ of synodality. Unfortunately this divine dream has developed into a toxic nightmare despite the bishops’ professed good intentions."

As far back as 2014, over eight years ago, Cardinal Pell displayed his wariness regarding this plethora of "synods".  He called out some skullduggery by pounding his fist on a table and demanding that leaders "stop manipulating this synod".  Lo and behold, they backed down once they were shown to be charlatans.

Last March the blogger Sandro Magister published a "Memorandum on the Next Conclave".  It had been circulating among the cardinals and was written under the pseudonym "Demos".  Magister stated on January 11th that Cardinal Pell was Demos.  The memo began with the declaration that "commentators of every school.. agree that this pontificate is a disaster in many or most respects; a catastrophe."  He then goes on to outline what he believes should be the mindsets of the cardinals during their selection of the next pope.

The officially-stated cause of the cardinal's death was "complications from hip surgery".  He allegedly had a heart attack.  I cannot find any definite statement of him taking the covid-cootie-jab, but I strongly suspect he didn't.  Being aware of the masonic forces that lurk within the Vatican, I cannot dismiss the possibility of murder, given the Cardinal's outspoken opposition to Francis' strange schemes.  There is talk that Pell stood to be influential in the next conclave; perhaps that is what some feared.

On January 20th, just a few days after the death of Cardinal Pell, we received news of another George who spoke truth regarding this pontificate.  George Neumayr passed away in the Ivory Coast, allegedly from malaria.  While he looked terrible in what turned out to be his last podcast, he mentioned nothing of being ill, nor did his prolific tweets hint at any serious sickness.  The corrupt bishops had reason to fear him, from their warped perspectives.  He wasn't afraid to approach them and ask them pointed questions.

Many Catholics and pro-life people are mourning the deaths of these two men and rightly asking prayers for the repose of their souls.  However, they are ignoring the elephant in the living room - the suspicious natures and timings of their deaths.  Not everyone is, though.  I'll say this plainly.  We must consider the very real possibility that these two men were murdered because they both were exposing corruption from within the Vatican.  Let's face it; we know that freemasonry runs rampant through the Vatican.  We have testimony from the late Bella Dodd about the subversives that she and others insinuated into the seminaries during the early 20th century.  Is is not very likely that some of them wormed their way into the Vatican?  Consider the origins of the Sankt Gallen mafia.

Will there be more?  We can't know the answer to that.  Will we be intimidated by all this?  We better know the answer to that.

For both men: requiescat in pace.

Cardinal Pell Finally Receives Justice

Cardinal George Pell of Austrilia has been a thorn in the Vatican progressives' derrierres ever since he blew the lid off the deceipt of the 2014 Extraordinary Synod.  He was put in charge of investigating the mess of the Vatican finances when - shock of all shocks - mysterious charges of sexual abuse from decades past were brought against him.  Funny how that timing worked!

He went back to Austrilia, home of the kangaroo.  And that's just the kind of court that convicted him and sent him to jail for over a year.  He appealed up the chain and finally reach Austrilia's highest court.

Today came the happy news that Cardinal Pell's conviction was overturned and he is once again a free man.  There are times when common sense and justice prevails.  We rejoice while we suspect that there is no joy within the Vatican regarding this news.

Long Knives Now Pointed At Cardinal Pell

Cardinal Pell has, over the years, made himself a thorn in the side of progressives in the Vatican who want to mangle Holy Mother Church into a macabre farce.  He's done this merely by speaking the truth.   Recall how during the October 2014 meeting he forcefully rebuked those trying to manipulate that meeting and made mention of the cabal inside the Vatican.  He stated why Laudato Si cannot be taken as Church teaching.

The undermining of Pell's work in the Roman Curia was already underway in 2016.  Back in 2015 I opined that soon Cardinal Pell (and others) would feel long knives being plunged into his back.  I didn't realize that opinion would actually be a fairly accurate prediction, at least for Cardinal Pell (although the others could be targeted in the future).

The internet is now abuzz with news that allegations have arisen regarding "sexual molestation" committed by Pell on some boys.  These incidents are alleged to have occurred in the 1970s.  Ladies and gentlemen, we can do the arithmetic.  That's forty years ago.  What has prompted these alleged victims to come forward after all that time?  They remain anonymous, of course, preventing any real investigation into their credibility (or lack thereof).  Cardinal Pell is headed back to Australia to deal with the charges.  The reform work in which he was engaged will be supervised by (scroll to the very bottom of this link!) Cardinal Marx.  Yes this one!  This whole thing stinks of a frame job!

So who's next on the Vatican Mafioso Hit List?  Bishop Schneider?  Bishop Paprocki?  Cardinal Sarah?  Pray your Rosaries for Holy Mother Church.

Faithful Prelates Being Targeted By Pope Francis

I call to memory the way Cardinal Burke was marginalized by Pope Francis merely for defending the Church's Teachings; see here and here.  My blogging colleagues at Eponymous Flower and One Peter Five have some observations regarding this and the maltreatment of other faithful prelates such as Cardinal Pell, Cardinal Muller, Cardina Oullet, Cardinal Liovera.  Read the EF piece for a description of how Cardinal Pell's work in trying to reform the Roman Curia is being deliberately undermined.  In other cases, the faithful prelates are being snubbed by the pope in favor of heterodox prelates such as Cardinan Schonborn and Cardinal Kasper.

I find this whole thing to be quite Machiavellian.  There are some who hold that the pope is just a naive little bumpkin who is being manipulated by the "evil bureaucrats in the Vatican".  What will it take to remove the rose-colored glasses from their faces?

In the meantime we must pray and keep shining the light of truth on these machinations.

They "Just Don't Like The Pope"

More prelates are taking stands against the venom pouring from the sin-nod.
  • Bishop Krzysztof Bialasik, Polish missionary to Bolivia, denounced abortion and "gender ideology" and lamented that the sin-nod did not address these matters.
  • Archbishop Zbigniew Stankiewicz, on behalf of the Latvian Bishops' Conference, denounced the idea of Holy Communion for unrepentant adulterers and sodomites.
  • Again we hear from Cardinal Pell as he rejects "continental Catholicism".
  • Archbishop Gadecki has again denounced the none-too-subtle attempt by "sin-nod fathers" to dilute Catholic doctrine.
  • Cardinal Jorge Urosa defended teaching on the Holy Eucharist, reminding all that the prodigal son was embraced by his father only after he returned home.
  • Cardinal Burke stated that if being "fundamentalist" meant upholding Church teaching, then he was happy to be so, for that teaching will save souls.  Imagine that!  A Prince of the Church concerned with the mission that Christ gave to His Church, to save souls!  These days, that's a rarity.
  • SinNod's Moral
    Theologian
  • Cardinal Arinze reminded us all that those in objectively sinful situations cannot receive Holy Communion in good conscience.
God bless these prelates (and others) who are standing up to the obvious attempt to exploit the synod for heretical purposes.  Dare I suspect that Cardinal Wuerl would count them in the number of those who "just don't like this pope"?  By the way; who taught the "conscience reigns supreme" crowd their moral theology?  Jiminy Cricket?

SinNod - Red Flags Raised But Ignored By Puppet-Masters

News broke today of a letter crafted and signed by thirteen Cardinals expressing concern at the heavy-handed tactics being displayed by the SinNod honchos (Baldiserri and Rosica, for example).  Sandro Magister received it and released it.  Rorate Caeli has the full text; please read it.  Notice this line: "A number of fathers feel the new process seems designed to facilitate predetermined results on important disputed questions".  Two days ago I pointed out that there is an obvious push to achieve a specific agenda.  While some readers might dismiss my statement is "conspiracy theory" nonsense, what might they think now, with prelates voicing the same concerns?

Voice of the Family reports that some of the signers of the letter denied signing the letter and/or the accuracy of the letter as published.  But others are stating that the concerns voiced in the letter are valid.  At any rate, Cardinal Pell hand-delivered it to the Pope and it was promptly ignored.  However, the statement stands in the open and serves as witness that there is strife at the SinNod.  Given the position of Kasper and his ilk, we should hope that there is indeed strife and that their agenda won't be adopted without valiant opposition.

Speaking of opposition, it does seem that Baldiserri et al are looking to quash it as they would an insect.  LifeSiteNews informs us that the press credentials of Father Nicholas Gregoris were revoked (after him having served 15 years as a correspondent) because after he dared to challenge a bishop who said that the question of Holy Communion for adulterers was still open.

In general, there's lots happening at the SinNod, much of it nefarious.  One Peter Five has a handy synopsis that you might find helpful.  He calls it "highlights"; it could just as well be called "lowlights".  Also, we know who the moderators and reporters are for the circuli minori (small groups) of the SinNod.  In one of them this morning, the question was raised about masonic influence in the SinNod.  I think that question to be quite astute.

Progressive Manipulation At The Sin-Nod And An Update From The Maturation Department

Remember the incident during last October's sin-nod, when Cardinal Pell rebuked sin-nod leaders?  Pounding the table with his hand, he demanded "you must stop manipulating this synod!"  He said this after it was announced that the proceeds from the small group discussions would not be shared with the synod at large.  After Pell and some others called out the skulduggery for what it was, the leaders and "editorial committee" relented and publicized those reports.  In a subsequent interview with LifeSiteNews, Cardinal Pell made mention of a "radical cadre" working for a very progressive outcome to the sin-nod.

It seems that Cardinal Pell's theory regarding the existence of this cabal has very solid basis.  A few months prior to the sin-nod, Cardinal Baldiserri, aka "Book-Thief Baldi", told Father Rosica that the Church needs to "update" and "be incarnate into time".  He also stated that if the sin-nod reiterated the Church's teachings, the sin-nod would be "meaningless".  I've no doubt he was thinking mainly of the Church's teachings on marriage, family, sexuality.  He might as well have thrown into the mix the Church's teachings on the Seventh Commandment.

Edward Pentin is a journalist associated with the National Catholic Register.  He covered the sin-nod and exposed much of the shenanigans there.  He did such a good job that Cardinal Kasper attempted to ruin his career; Kasper wound up with major egg on his face for that.  Two weeks ago he interviewed with Raymond Arroyo of EWTN and publicized his book, "The Rigging Of A Vatican Synod".  In that book he lays out a good deal of evidence that points to manipulation of the last sin-nod and possible attempts to do the same at the one occurring next month.  Now because this book is an e-book, it would seem safe from the clutches of "Book-Thief Baldi" - we hope!

UPDATE - We now provide an update from the Maturation Department.  The German bishops published today an apologia for same-sex #mowwidge.  Here is the news from LifeSiteNews.  With just a few weeks until the next sin-nod, these progressives are putting their "maturation" efforts into overdrive!

Here is the interview.

Cardinal Pell Makes Plain Why Laudato Si Should Not Be Taken As Teaching

Cardinal Pell is to be commended for reminding the world that the Church cannot pronounce infallibly on matters of empirical science, or economics for that matter, because Our Lord has not granted her any mandate to do so.  She may teach infallibly on matters of faith and morals - but that's it.  All other matters are left to prudential judgment, given the parameters of faith and morals.  The encyclical makes pretentious claims that the "science" and "economics" promoted therein are the will of God; again that's impossible for those fields are not within the Church's competence.  One immediate outcome will be the reduction of credibility that will be ascribed when the pope does speak on matters of faith and morals, for people might understandably think that if the pope can botch up matters of science and economics in an encyclical (and he has!), why should they believe him when he speaks on matters of faith and morals?  Yes, such thinking would be erroneous and cannot be condoned, but the mess that is Laudato Si renders it understandable.

No doubt Cardinal Pell sees the potential for such real damage that Laudato Si will wreak (see here and here).  It is filled with progressive screed that not only was inspired by the rantings of Sachs and Shnellnhuber, but perhaps are the prattling of the same.  You'll notice that in the first half of the thing.  Here is a collection of my posts on LS; in those posts is a link to the English translation of the document.

The Catholic World Report recently put out a piece that takes issue with the faulty economics that are peppered throughout Laudato Si.  In Laudato Si, the pope raises the same alarmist tocsins regarding the "scarcity" of resources.  Now here's a salient point that CWR raises: "If the pope and others are ringing alarm bells, at times they seem to underestimate the creative power of human intelligence and freedom in the face of extreme scarcity of resources."  Many, if not all, progressives seem to think of man as being a mere consumer.  They fail, or more aptly, refuse to recognize that human labor and ingenuity is probably the most valuable resource imaginable.  That is why they are constantly kvetching for "population control" along with the abortion, contraception and sterilization that they think is necessary to attain "sustainable development".  That is why the "Sachs and Schnellnhuber" cabal seek to bring in others of their mindset such as Noami Klein.

This week's Catholic Standard had as its theme "preparation for the Pope's visit".  One "suggested activity" was to read Laudato Si.  I agree that it should be read so that all might see for themselves that it is permeated with progressive venom.  It is not in keeping with the traditions of our Church and must be both refused and resisted.

SinNod's Interim Report And Its Shady Circumstances

Today's Vortex Report from Rome is aptly entitled "Document-Gate".  Voris reiterates some facts abut the document.  I'll interject my own comments.
  • It was released to the press before most of the bishops at the SinNod received a copy.  I think it's worth noting, too, that the publication of the document on the Vatican website coincided with the release to the press.  Whoever (probably several people) released it to the press had some collusion with those who published it on the Vatican site.
  • According to Cardinal Napier, topics in the document were hardly discussed at all during the SinNod proceedings.  Who inserted them?  Was that the work of the six additional committee members hand-picked by the Pope?  Father Zuhlsdorf has an account of behind-the-scenes occurrences at the SinNod.
  • Paragraphs 50-53, those that openly condone sodomy, seem to be the handiwork of Archbishop Bruno Forte.  By the way - Father Paul Check, international director of Courage, made known his disapproval, citing concerns for those struggling homosexuals whom Courage tries to assist as they live according to Church teaching.
  • At 6:11, Voris asked who collected the information, who wrote the document, who published the document, who distributed the document to journalists before the bishops saw it.  I think we can safely hypothesize that those six prelates (including Cardinal Wuerl), handpicked by the Pope, facilitated that process.  As far as I'm concerned, this has papal paw prints all over it.  Voris mentions that Vatican official Father Federico Lombardi and Father Thomas Rosica stonewalled him when he asked his questions.  Father Lombardi is director of the Vatican Press Office.  It is on the site of that office that the document appeared when first released to the press.  Father Rosica is also with that office.
  • Voris asks was the leak planned, with the hopes that the secular media would react as it did?  We know the key players enough to opine "yes".
  • He makes the excellent point that those who insist that "this is only a working document", "don't worry, be happy" crowd are engaging in dangerous and dare I say ungodly naivete.
Voris reminded us that Cardinal Burke has publicly called upon the pope to publicly proclaim that no teaching will change.  Cardinal Pell now echoes the same call.  As of the time of this writing, I've heard no word that the Pope has issued any such declarative statement.  Will he?
