From The Niquers Of The New Age Department - Sitting Governor Overtly Mocks The Holy Eucharist

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (Wretched Witchmor?) is catching some well-deserved backlash for her blatant, deliberate mockery of the Holy Eucharist.  You can see the video in this link how she places a Dorito chip on the tongue of a left-wing accomplice, mocking the distribution of Holy Communion.  

Ostensibly she did this to promote Harris' bid for the presidency.  How she thought this will help is beyond me, but I strongly suspect that Kackles approved of this blasphemy.  She later tried to "apologize" for how her action was construed.  Mind you, she didn't apologize for her act of anti-Catholic bigotry and sacrilege itself; it was another thinly-disguised jab at our justified outrage.  She claimed that she "would never do something to denigrate someone's faith".  Nope!  We're not buying it, Gretch the Wretch!  That smirk on your face in the clip belies your lame damage-control attempt!

Now to those of you who are having vapor attacks because of the phrase that I used (deliberately misspelled to evade the censor-bots).  Holy Mother Church and her adherents are the politically-correct targets for left-wing bigotry.  It will escalate if we continue to maintain a polite silence in its face.  We must call it as it is, and not try to cushion the truth.  Do you have the courage and stomach to do that?

Taylor Marshall interviewed someone during one of his podcasts.  I don't know who he is, but he makes some relevant points.  We never see evil people mocking the practices of other faiths.  When have they ever mocked muslims at prayer?  We've all heard of "black masses", so when have we seen "black altar calls"?  Here it is.  Please watch.

Francis Allows Anglicans To Commit Sacrilege In St John Lateran While Treating Traditional Catholics Like Dung

This news is brought to us by Taylor Marshall.  What would happen if the SSPX or some other Traditional priests sought permission to celebrate the Traditional Mass in St. John Lateran?  They'd be run out of there in a heartbeat.  In addition to prayer, especially the Rosary, we must resist.  That means attending a Traditional Mass, not donating to Archdiocesan collections, bringing these matters up in discussion.

French Catholic Laypeople Defend Their Church Against Sacrilege

French Catholic laypeople have stepped up to the plate and protected a Catholic church from being used as a venue for a secular concert.  Indeed, the "singer" in question has been known to sing songs that overtly do homage to Satan.  God bless these laypeople for their willingness to stand for Our Lord and God bring the church personnel to repentance, and punishment if need be, for giving their permission for that planned sacrilege.  Here is a report, with some video of the protest.  I note with happiness that there appears to be at least one Roman collar amidst the faithful Catholics.

Eight years ago, a similar situation happened in Argentina, where Catholics banded together to protect their cathedral from being vandalized by a gaggle of feminists and perverts.  Here is a report.

Just last week in Washington DC, a statue of Mary was vandalized at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.  The days are swiftly approaching when we will have to put our bodies on the line to defend our churches against godless vandals and even godless clergy.  Who will be ready to do so?

When Catholics And Other Christians Mock Holy Things

No, I'm not talking of the usual suspects, those progressives who have made a habit of openly defying Our Lord's teachings throughout the years.  I am speaking of those who have earned some respect for being faithful, but who have recently displayed abysmal lack of judgment.

Two such examples happened this past week, both on Facebook.  Two persons/entities posted memes that I might have expected from those who openly disparage Christian faith and morality.  I post the memes below.  

Let me point out a few things, though.  First, these people themselves, by posting on social media, have made their identities known.  I therefore have included their names on the original postings.  Anyone who makes public statements should be prepared for public commentary and even criticism.  Second, I voice some regret for these memes, for they are offensive.  But light must shine on the rot so we can see with what we are dealing.  Here they are.

I believe the one to the right comes from a Christian group that isn't primarily Catholic.  Still, these Christians are holding the marital act to be fodder for (at best) adolescent jokes.  I objected to the lack of taste and reverence behind this meme.  Fortunately I was not alone in voicing my displeasure, but the majority of commenters mocked our concerns.  

More than a few tried to justify this by citing Song of Songs.  I asked them where in that book was the marital act treated as fodder for locker-room sniggering.  I've yet to receive a reply.  Many told us to shut up and "scroll by".

A bit of background information is needed here.  This is a picture of the killing of St Peter of Verona, also known as St Peter Martyr.  He met his death by having the axe put into his head.  As he knelt down, he wrote the Creed with his blood before he was finally stabbed to death.  I'm sure most decent people would hold that the image of a saint's martyrdom is not to be mocked and in fact constitutes sacrilege.

Bree Dail is the Rome correspondent for the Epoch Times.  She herself is Catholic.  Against the objections of others (myself included) she defended her posting of this mocking image.  Again, we heard the calls to shut up and "scroll by".

Several astute individuals, on both posts, reminded us that we are to be in the world, but not of it.  They are correct.  They quoted some pertinent Scripture passages:

• Titus 2:12 exhorts us to live soberly.
• Ephesians 4:29 exhorts us to let no evil speech proceed from us.  When we make light of holy matters, we engage in evil speech.

I've written quite a bit of these matters, where Catholics and others are losing sight of the fact that our lives here are meant for specific purposes, not for "lightening up".  The Baltimore Catechism stated it quite succinctly: "Why did God make me?  God made me to know, love and serve Him in this world, and be happy forever with Him in the next".  Now I don't often quote Protestants, but it seems that Protestants of yesteryear had more sense of Christianity than do many Catholics today.  Martin Lloyd-Jones stated once that "life is a solemn affair, for the choices we make in this life will determine where we spend eternity."

How on earth can we point the way to Our Lord and His righteousness if we ourselves are giggling and snickering at what God has called holy?

No Wonder Progressives Rail Against The Death Penalty!

 A few days ago I put up a post containing Taylor Marshall's commentary about the perversion that a priest committed atop the altar of his parish church, in effect desecrating it with his gross sacrilege.  Taylor mentions that the altar is symbolic of Christ Himself; that is why there are five crosses carved into each Catholic altar.  He noted that in more sane and reverent times, such deliberate desecration and sacrilege would have garnered the death penalty for the perpetrator.

He said this in passing, and I was prepared to let it remain a lesser point.  However, this is NOT the first time that a Catholic altar was desecrated - not so much with sexual perversion as with rank idolatry.  I remind you of this outrage, right after the pachamama idols were tossed in the Tiber.  This detailed what happened during the closing Mass of that climate-change gabfest during which the pachamamas desecrated the Vatican gardens and several Catholic churhes before being hurled into the Tiber.  As you watch the video of the Mass, take notice of how many times the camera zooms onto that plant.  Then the plant is placed on the altar in direct disobedience to the GIRM.  Take note particularly from 55:38 to 56:20.  Recall from the previous paragraph that any Catholic altar is representative of Christ Himself - and that defilements of said altars at one time were punished via the death penalty.

I'm going to link now to an article in Catholic World Report, where the author directs three questions to opponents of the death penalty.  These questions, in my opinion, reduce to shreds any attempt to vilify the death penalty.  But have you noticed that among death penalty opponents are all proponents of abortion, gay perversions along with heretics and those who blaspheme and commit vile sacriledge?  One might ask why, but I think the answer to that is quite obvious; they know that in a saner time, they themselves would be eligible for capital punishment.  Let us pray that these people come quickly to repentance.

One Reason For The Current Chastisement?

This sacrilegious debacle happened four months ago, I don't know where.  Because these priests and congregation treated their Mass like a cheap baudy show, it's no wonder that they think it can be so blithely scuttled because of a virus.  May God have mercy!

A Closer Look At The Met Gala Debacle

Two days ago, when I wrote about the Met-Gala sacrilege that relegated Catholics (once again) to the status of "niggers of the new age", I linked to a New York Post article.  It didn't dawn on me at the time but now I cannot help but notice how much Dolan seemed to carry on about feeding his face with hot dogs and peanut butter sandwiches.  It's apparent that he loves to chow down - more so than perhaps his Faith and his office as Prince of the Church.

He also loves to make a fool of himself, and by dint of his office, fools of his fellow Catholics and even Jesus Christ Himself.  Of course he had assistance in that from the Vatican, as they lent Catholic artifacts to the gala to be objects of mockery.

Father Peter West posted on Facebook some of the real damage that Dolan did at that gala.  I cannot find that post on Father's wall, but Eponymous Flower saved a screen shot.  I'm going to post a Vortex in which Michael Voris touches upon the roles that Cardinal Ravasi (this one!) and Archbishop Ganswein (designated by the pope to make sure the Pope Emeritus stays quiet?) had in engineering the gala-debacle.

By the way, Bishop Robert Barron seems to have trouble seeing the blasphemies and sacrileges for what they were that evening.  Of course, this is the prelate who entertains the delusions that hell may be empty.

Cleaning Out The Trash From St Cecilia Cathedral - Would We Do The Same?

"Cultural presentation" - my arse!

A Mary Poppins mannequin hanging from the ceiling of a Catholic cathedral.  A Buddha statue in one of the side chapels.  These abominations really occurred in St. Cecilia Cathedral in the Archdiocese of Omaha last January.  What I just described isn't mere sacrilege; the Buddha statue raised the ante to idolatry.  At least one faithful Catholic had enough - and did something about it!

First let's set forth some details.  In late January, the cathedral hosted its 31st "Flower Festival" and this year's "theme" (?) was "A Night At The Movies".  Mark Kenney, a custodian of the cathedral - in the true sense of the word - recognized the insult to the Faith and Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.  He cut down the Mary Poppins thing from the ceiling and tossed out the Buddha idol and a few other  monstrosities as well.  The pastor confronted him. Kenney admitted to his deeds, saying, "Father, this is bullshit! We can’t have this in the church. This isn’t culture, it’s Disney crap!"  Later Kenney correctly stated that what happened was sacrilege for the most part, idolatry with respect to the Buddha junk.  He did not resist arrest when the police came for him.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on March 24, Holy Thursday.  I think it's rather appropriate since it was on the evening of Holy Thursday that Jesus was arrested in preparation for His Crucifixion.

Let's look at some facets of this matter, shall we?  Firstly this pastor, allegedly a canon lawyer, stated, "Cathedrals are kind of the epicenter for culture presentation and development."  No they aren't!  They are sacred places dedicated to the worship of the One True God!  They should NOT be used to "present culture" that is idolatrous and at enmity with the teachings of Jesus Christ.  As I read further down the article, I saw that one of the exhibits was one devoted to Queen Elizabeth I of England - you know, the English protestant monarch who was responsible for the large-scale persecution and murders of hundreds of English Catholics.  So "cultural development" means heaping honor on an unrepentant persecutor of Catholics?

Our Lord Damaging Personal Property

The article states that Kenney was fired and that his "safe environment" certificate was revoked, prohibiting him from volunteering or working when children are present.  In a sane world, such revocation would also have occurred with regard to the pastor and the other masterminds behind the obscenity.  Clearly they pose a serious threat to the immortal souls of all parishioners, owing to their allowance of idolatry in the Cathedral.

The writer of the article, towards the end, engages in a bit of "editorializing".  He opines that the damage to personal property was not appropriate.  Normally I might agree, except that this "personal property" was used to commit multiple sins against the First Commandment.  Think of it this way; had swastikas been affixed to the walls of the cathedral, would anyone in their right mind have had any bones about ripping them from the walls?  Of course not (cowardice issues notwithstanding)!  Once again I think the Principle of Double Effect applies.  The good effect is the cessation of the idolatry by its removal; any damage is corollary.

Kenney hopes that the incident will spark some conversation in the Church about what is permissible in a Catholic Church wherein the Blessed Sacrament is reserved.  I do too.  I also hope that it causes us all to consider what we might do if we should ever find ourselves confronted with blatant affronts to Our Lord in His church.  Will we have the courage and resolve to correct the situation?

This debacle occurred in the Archdiocese of Omaha.  Let's have some "conversation" with them, particularly in relation to the sentencing on Holy Thursday.  These charges should be dropped in the name of decency.  Here is the contact information.

UPDATE - On Father Z's blog, a commenter left this link to the rest of the abomination that was part of this debacle.  It includes "displays" from "The King and I", "Dr Zhivago (to celebrate adultery)", "ET", "Grease" and others.  It's a shame that Kenney couldn't eject the entire mess.

Gross Sacrilege At Papal Mass In Manila

This happened last Friday at the Papal Mass.  Our Lord, in the Eucharistic Host, was manhandled, grabbed, mauled, passed about like a mere cookie.  How many particles - or whole Hosts, dropped to the ground, only to be trampled?

If distribution of Holy Communion cannot be done without due reverence and solicitation for the Real Presence, it shouldn't be done at all!  There's no sin in some not receiving: better that than the sacrilege that you'll see as you watch!  What an utter travesty!

Pope To Marry Cohabitating Couples? Really??

I know of a pastor who places in his bulletin a requirement for engaged couples going through his marriage prep program.  He requires that if they are cohabiting, that they live separately until their wedding day.  Why?  In his words, "it is sinful, causes scandal, and leads to greater likelihood of divorce".  Of course he's spot-on correct.

Here's another consideration.  Since fornication is objectively a mortal sin, would that not mean that at least some of these cohabitating people have mortally sinned?  Some, out of ignorance of Church teaching, may not be fully culpable, I realize.  But for those in the state of mortal sin, it is my understanding that no grace from any other sacrament will be of benefit to them until their mortal sin is absolved in the Sacrament of Confession.  Would that not include grace from the Sacrament of Matrimony?

The internet is now carrying the news that Pope Francis will marry twenty couples this coming Sunday including "those who are already cohabitating".  That is troubling.  It doesn't say "those who had been cohabitating".  The Telegraph speaks in present tense, not in past tense.

I suppose by now these couples have already been selected.  Have they been required to cease their mortal sin?  Have they been required to confess their mortal sins of fornication and receive absolution from a priest?  If not, they'll most likely not receive the sacramental grace that otherwise they might anticipate from Matrimony.  Moreover, they'll most likely receive Holy Communion at these weddings while in mortal sin, right?  That sounds like two sets of sacrilege right there!

As I read this article, I see no sign of these couples righting their relationships with God and the Church.  I hope I'm wrong in this, but if not, we're looking at scandal of breath-taking proportions with the potential of poor souls careening to hell due to bad example and poor teaching.

Reparation Needed For Idolatry That Will Occur At Vatican Gardens On Pentecost Sunday

Let us speak plainly, shall we?  This supposed "prayer for peace" is an occasion for several serious sins.  "But it's for peace", some might whine?  What difference does that make?  The ends never justify means that are inherently evil.  Moreover, no real peace can occur when false idols (namely "allah") will be worshiped.

So right there we have a sin against the First Commandment.  The fact that it's to occur on Catholic grounds lends the aura of sacrilege to it.  Here's an article from Catholic Encyclopedia; pay attention to the section on "local sacrilege".

Ladies and gentlemen, fellow Catholics, reparation is needed.  Start now.  Today is First Saturday; if there's still time, make your confession and Mass and pray your Rosary, per the requests of Our Lady of Fatima.

Please pray tomorrow for forgiveness for what will happen on Pentecost Sunday.

UPDATE: I just read in Creative Minority Report that this is part of the Islamic screed prayer that will be uttered:   "...O You who know the unknown and the manifest, O Lord of everything and its sovereign, we testify that there is no god but You alone ..."  As the CMR commenter noted, this prayer is an outright contradiction of the truth that Jesus Christ is a Divine Person and the Second Person of the Holy Trinity.  And this is occurring on consecrated Catholic grounds???

Faithful Priest Safeguards Last Rites From Sacrilegious Reception

Yesterday at Medstar Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC, a Catholic chaplain was in the process of administering Last Rites to a heart-attack patient when the patient announced that he is gay.  The chaplain, Father Brian Coelho halted the rites.

The patient, Ronald Plishka, became incensed and cursed at the priest.  Of course the hospital staff had a snit because Father Coelho did not "adhere to our values".  One has to read further down the story to understand that the priest adhered to the teachings of Jesus Christ.

The Last Rites has as an integral part the Sacrament of Confession.  Plishka did divulge his homosexuality and his struggle with it.  However, he did say about being gay that "you can't be somebody you're not; otherwise you'll end up 63 and alone."  In other words, he was justifying his ongoing commission of mortal sin.  Without the requisite repentance and resolve to forswear that sin, Plishka disqualified himself from receiving the Last Rites.  Owing to his own disposition, the Last Rites would have had no benefit for him and he would have been committing sacrilege to receive them in his state of mind.  The Catholic Encyclopedia has a thorough discussion on the Last Rites.

Medstar Washington, the Post, the Blade, etc apparently don't believe in the efficacy of Last Rites.  If that is the case, why are they so upset that Plishka didn't receive them?  A cynic might think that these entities just wanted to get a Roman Catholic priest to abandon Jesus Christ and bow to the idol of political correctness, but that couldn't be the case for these bastions of tolerance now, could it?  Could it?  Well call me a cynic.  More importantly, call Father Coelho a priest faithful to Jesus Christ.

Archdiocese Of Boston Allows "Gay Pride Celebration" Mass

The buck stops with Cardinal O'Malley in regards to this travesty.  I cannot believe that he did not give permission for this blasphemy to go forward.  If he didn't, he must stand up forcefully and resolutely now and defend his flock from this scandal.  If he doesn't, he will forfeit any and all moral authority as a bishop, perhaps irrevokably.  He will have betrayed his solemn vows as bishop.  He will have in fact opened the sheep gate to the wolves.

St Cecelia has been given permission by the Archdiocese of Washington Boston (thank you anonymous for typo correction) to resume plans for their blasphemous celebration inside a Catholic church.  Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament will be subjected to all manners of abuse.  It will be much like the buffets and spitting that He endured during His Passion and death.  A sin that "cries out to heaven" will be celebrated during the Mass.  So what can be expected at this Mass?  Will there be behavior and scenes such as these inside the Church?

A few good Catholics in Boston have been speaking up.  However, there should be a deafening outcry.  Where is it?
