Archbishop Lori Panders To BLM Thug Fans

First, thank you to the commenter in my previous post for alerting me to this disgusting situation.  How did Lori accomplish this latest debacle?  By retaining a BLM supporter in an official capacity.

LifeSiteNews has quite an expose of Howard Ross's activities and affiliations that show him to be quite antithetical to the Catholic faith.  He founded a "consulting" company called Udarta (cited in Archbishop Lori's announcement linked below).  Both Ross and Udarta are headquartered in Silver Spring, MD (a cesspool of new-age progressivism).  What I think the LifeSiteNews piece may have overlooked is Ross's New Age connections.  For instance, both he and his wife were speakers at an event (probably online) called the "Truth and Reconciliation Weekend".  It occurred the weekend of July 4-5, just wrapping up as I type this.  Looking down the list, one gets the impression that Ross is one of the few non-Indian people speaking.  The list of talks is rife with Buddhism.  We also see nonsense about "the 13th fairy" and "chakras" and "the goddess within me".  You get the drift.

Here is the official announcement of this appointment from the Archdiocese of Baltimore.  Earlier, when I came across these deplorable announcements, I wondered how the Church could retain such individuals in spite of their chequered pasts.  Now I realize that the corrupt Church hierarchy retains these individuals because of their scandalous histories.

To my readers within the Archdiocese of Baltimore, you have yet another reason why you should not drop one penney towards archdiocesan collections.  Moreover, please try to discover if and how you can shield any parochial donations from archdiocesan assessments.

A Silver Lining In The Corona Cloud

Last month I wrote of a retreat for gay priests scheduled for April 14-16 at the Bon Secours Retreat Center in Marriottsville, MD.  It was to be led by Father Peter Daly and was supported by Father James Martin - two perversion promoters if ever they existed.  The days were Tuesday to Thursday. Let's be honest.  We know what kind of, "sessions" would have been occurring on Tues and Wed evenings.

We tried to petition Archbishop Lori to take action against this raunch-fest, but he refused to utter a peep.  However, blessings can come from calamities.  From the website of Bon Secours we see that the CDC shut them down until May 10.  Moreover, if you go to my first post and click on the "scheduled retreat" link, you will notice that New Ways broke the link.  We can conclude that the retreat will not happen in April.

I suspect they will try to reschedule the thing.  We will alert you when we learn something.  Plans may be in the making to ask Archbishop Lori to exercise his authority with the Bon Secours staff and forestall any attempt to reschedule it.

Archbishop Lori Asks Homophile Priest To Retire - Call To Action On Our Part

We in Maryland recently learned that Archbishop Lori has asked for the retirement of long-time sodomy-enabling Father Joseph Muth, pastor of St. Matthew's Catholic Church.  In fact, the "ask" is more like "order".  We are delighted to no end and we thank God that some measure of spiritual health and sanity might soon return to that blighted parish.  Father Muth asked the Archbishop for an extension; the Archbishop declined that request.

I have written quite a bit about that parish and the gay-enabling filth that has poured forth from that place for many years; see here, here, here.  Regrettably a sizable portion of the parishioners seem to be of Muth's homophile mindset.  They conducted a meeting to discuss this development, and possible actions they would take.  A Defend Life reporter attended that meeting.  After she was recognized, she was ejected.  No one questions their right to remove people from their meetings.  However, one can wonder why they were so afraid to have a reporter in attendance.  What did they have to hide?

She wrote the following article, that I'll append below.  I'll have more commentary, with actions that you can take to help restore spiritual health to the Church in Baltimore.

Abp. Lori orders early retirement of LGBT activist priest

Denies Fr. Muth’s request to stay on; parishioners plan pushback

Archbishop William Lori has told Father Joseph Muth, pastor of St. Matthew and Blessed Sacrament parishes in Baltimore, that he wants the long-time LGBT activist priest to retire in September 2020, at age 72.
Father Muth told his parishioners that he asked the Archbishop that he be allowed to remain until he was 75, but that Lori denied his request.
Muth, who was ordained in the Archdiocese of Baltimore in 1974 and has served in various archdiocesan churches since then, has labored indefatigably for years to promote not just acceptance but downright approval of active homosexual and other LGBT behavior by both St. Matthew Church and the Catholic Church in general.
The priest has been an active member of New Ways Ministry, a Maryland-based national organization founded in 1977 to push for acceptance of active gay and lesbian Catholics within the Catholic Church.
The Congregation of the Doctrine of Faith condemned the group’s positions on homosexuality in 1999.
Father Muth’s pro-homosexual efforts have met with payoff.
In 2015 Newsweek.com ran with a hugely sympathetic article and videos about the LEAD (LGBT Education and Affirming Diversity) Ministry, which Muth founded at St. Matthew.
The following year, the Baltimore Museum of Art hosted an exhibit featuring videos extolling Muth’s efforts, through LEAD, to condone homosexual behavior.

On February 18, about fifty people attended a meeting in St. Matthew parish hall to launch a campaign opposing Archbishop Lori’s retirement dictum.
“This is the first of three meetings we will have,” explained former priest Peter McIver, who helped conduct the meeting.  “We don’t want to have a knee-jerk reaction—we want to get ideas and strategy.”
Father Muth, present at the meeting, quoted from the Letter of James 1, 2:  “Count it all joy, my brethren, when you meet various trials, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.”
His listeners responded with enthusiastic applause.
One of the meeting organizers then read aloud Father Muth’s lengthy statement, which he had given at his January 15-16 Masses.
“The Archbishop wants me to retire” in September 2020, he told his congregants.
Archdiocesan policy calls for a priest to notify the archbishop when he turns 70, he explained.
Muth said he wrote to the Archbishop that he would be 70 in 2018.  He asked him for permission to stay until 2023, “when I turn 75.”
One reason for his request, he said, was to see his pastorate “through the final stages of its strategic planning process.”
The Archbishop, in a January 2020 letter, replied that “after careful consideration,” he thought it would be “in the best interests” to keep the original retirement date of September 2020.
After the organizer finished reading Father Muth’s statement, the priest commented to the audience, “Messengers come and go—however, the message stays the same:  All are welcome.”

The organizer then fielded questions for Muth from the audience, which two helpers posted on large sheets of paper.
Many of the questions revealed the questioners’ anger and frustration at the Archbishop’s retirement mandate.
“What is meant by ‘after careful consideration’?” asked one person.
“Why did they pick on Father Muth?” asked another.
“Is this the only parish that has a reputation of being as liberal and welcome to all?” a woman asked.
Another woman asked Muth directly, “Do you have the sense that you know that [Lori’s retirement mandate] is because of your activism to the immigrants and the LGBT community?”
“I have a sense that that is part of it,” Muth admitted.  “But there are three other parishes with an active LGBT group, and five others are considering it.”

While the questioning was proceeding, a man in the audience, who earlier had mentioned that he was part of the LEAD Ministry, saw a Defend Life reporter sitting next to him taking notes, and asked if she was a reporter, and with whom.
When she told him, he immediately got up and walked over to Father Muth, who was standing nearby, and whispered to him.
A few minutes later, the woman conducting the questioning announced, “This is a safe place, where a person can give their thoughts and opinions freely.  We’re going to pause for several minutes and ask that anyone who is planning on reporting the meeting to respect that and leave.”
She looked straight at the reporter.
The reporter objected to the term “safe place,” saying that she was not going to use names, and no one’s “safety” was going to be violated.
The organizer repeated that this was a planning and strategy session for the parish, and parishioners wanted to be able to speak freely.
“But this is a newsworthy event,” the reporter objected.  “It’s of rightful interest to Catholics in other parishes in the Archdiocese!  What about freedom of the press?”
The organizer continued to insist that she leave.
“So I’m being ordered out,” the reporter retorted.  She put on her coat and left.
Defend Life has reported critically for four years on the LGBT activities of Father Muth and the LEAD Ministry, and of Archbishop Lori’s tacit permission, by his silence, of those activities.
Those reports included a photo revealing Father Muth marching in the 2016 Gay Pride Parade in Baltimore in 2016.

Defend Life also published a photo of LEAD Ministry members marching in Baltimore’s  2018 Pride Parade with signs identifying them as from St. Matthew Catholic Church, despite Lori’s asking Muth that no such signs be carried.

END OF ARTICLE

So the presence of the reporter was going to prevent the parishioners from speaking freely?  Why? Are they really such delicate little snowflakes?  Probably so, for the facilition of moral depravity often leads to cowardice and shame.

We can bet that one of their strategies will be to blast the Archbishop's office to get him to stand down.  What we MUST do is to contact his office too.  We must thank him for this step that he is taking and urge him to stand firm and not waver in the face of pressure - be it from these errant parishioners or perhaps even his homophile brother bishops.

I'd also suggest contacting Father Muth or at least the parish office.  Urge him to obey the archbishop's request without further ado.  Urge him to use his retirement time to repent and do reparation, for owing to his gay activism, he has placed his soul in grave danger of damnation with that danger being multiplied for the sacrilege against his own Holy Orders.

Here is contact information for Archbishop Lori.   Contact information for Fr Muth is here.  You might also want to go to their social media sites and leave them messages.

Gay Priest Retreat In Maryland This Coming April

Last week LifeSiteNews published an opinion piece entitled "Time For Bishops To Be Faithful And Shut Down Renegade Priests Who Champion Homosexuality".  A picture of Baltimore's Archbishop William Lori is at the top of the piece.  The reason for that is the scheduled "retreat" for gay priests that is slated to be held at Bon Secours Retreat Center in Marriottsville MD from April 12-14.   The retreat is being led by Fr Peter Daly and most likely Father James Martin will be in attendance.  Let's examine the pieces to this impending debacle.

Bon Secours is itself a dissident den of iniquity.  If the name sounds familiar to readers of this blog, that is because Bon Secours is where Gordon Creamer, gay-married parish council chair of St Ignatius Catholic Church, carries on with his so-called "spiritual direction".  St Ignatius is a parish in the Mount Vernon area of Baltimore City.  They openly flaunt their participation in Baltimore's "gay pride" parade/orgies.  I tried to engage the pastor about the matter, but oddly enough (cough!) he wasn't particularly interested in discussing the matter!  I submit that this pastor, along with Fr Joseph Muth of St Matthew's on Loch Raven Blvd are priests whom Lori should shut down.

Let's look at the retreat leader, Father Peter Daly, as I've written quite a bit about him, too.  In this anthology of posts, you see an account of his interactions with  young men struggling with same-sex attraction.  He admits to telling them that their disordered inclinations aren't disordered and that to act on them isn't sinful.  He pointed them straight towards hell and gave a nudge.  One can bet that is exactly what will happen in Marriottsville in two months.

Now let's look at the reactions of the two Maryland archbishops.  Archbishop Lori continues to turn a blind eye on both St Matthew's and St Ignatius.  Both are dens of gay perversions; there could be more.  These are the only two of which I'm aware at this time  Archbishop Gregory has actually shown himself to be an ally of proponents of gay perversions.  This past summer he openly praised Fortunate Familes duing one of his first "Theology on Tap" presentations.

Will they listen to our demands that they clean up their churches?  One language that they seem to understand is that of money - or more accurately, lack of donation money.  The DC archdiocese is gearing up for its Annual Appeal.  It used to be called the Archbishop's or Cardinal's Appeal (depending on rank of prelate).  They at least know that they cannot invoke the prelate to raise money, as our prelates of late have been, uh, "credibility-challenged" shall we say.  On the webpage they say that 60+ charities are supported via this collection.  Guess what?  You can support good charities directly, without the Archdiocese taking a cut of them.  Moreover, you'd be able to select the recipients of your hard-earned dollars.  Do NOT give one red penny to this or any other diocesan-wide collection.  They have proven over and over again to be unworthy recipients of donations and inept stewards to boot.  I don't know when the Baltimore campaign will happen, but that too should be boycotted until Archbishop Lori disinfects St Matthew's and St Ignatius AND quashes this upcoming "retreat".

When Will Archbishop Lori Clean Out St Ignatius Church In The Mount Vernon Area?

Last evening Archbishop Lori led a New Year's Eve "interfaith prayer service" at St. Ignatius in Baltimore.  Behold this from the Archdiocese's facebook page.

Yes, it's this parish.  Whatever other "faith" might have been represented there last evening, the Roman Catholic faith got short shrift.  As we look at the parish's web site, we see that Gordon Creamer is still the honcho behind its LGBT dating service "ministry".  Please note that this page still openly boasts of its participation in Baltimore's "pride parades" during the past several years.  Now take a look at who is chair of the parish council.  Yep!  It's "gay-married" Gordon Creamer!  Bear in mind that I am linking to the parish's pages as they appeared today.  When I wrote this account of my very brief interaction with the pastor, Creamer was just a member.  So that means that during the intervening three months, Creamer was elevated to a more prominent position in the parish.

Ladies and gentlemen, particularly Catholics of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, the Archbishop knows damned well what is going on here - and at St Matthew's, for that matter.  He is doing absolutely nothing to expunge the poison that is spiritually killing the Catholics under his watch.  Faithful Catholics there, I suggest that you cease any archdiocesan contributions immediately, and if he ever appears publicly, challenge him on these matters (and have a friend record the exchange).  We simply have to hold their feet to the fire.  What I stated in this post's title would be an excellent New Year's resolution for him and his brother bishops.

Archbishop Gregory Opens Mouth And Inserts Both Feet

Archbishop Gregory made one of his first public addresses a day or so ago.  He took the occasion to lob a pot-shot at President Trump for accurately stating that parts of Baltimore are filled with both trash and violent crimes.  He spun the president's remarks to insinuate that Trump aimed derogatory remarks at the Baltimore citizens themselves.  Quite frankly, both Gregory's and Lori's remarks are themselves dishonest and nonsensical.

Both Lori and Gregory are part of the liberal Church establishment.  They get lots of favors by doing the bidding of their Democrat task-masters.  They are coming to the defense of those task-masters because it's the Democrats that have been in charge of Baltimore for over 50 years.  Baltimore has not seen a Republican mayor since Theodore McKelden left that office in 1967.  Democrats have been at the helm since then - and two of those Demorats were the father and brother of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.  But that's just a coincidence, I'm sure (ahem)!  There are many questions as to how Baltimore handled Federal grants throughout the years; where did that money go??

By the way - Washington DC has gone down the tubes as well.  DC's mayors have all been Democrats for the past 45 years.  Lori and Gregory should take a walk on their respective cities' wild sides and see for themselves how their cities have fared under their Democrat buddies.  One left-wing reporter from Fox 45 Baltimore did that in a run-down Baltimore neighborhood.  As she sniffed that Trump should "take a look at things for himself", a rat photobombed her video.  Take a look.

If Lori and Gregory can't give honest appraisals of the situations of their dioceses, maybe they should stick to their God-given jobs - you know, like, making sure the Faith is taught properly in their parishes, cleaning perversion from their parishes (like St Matthew's, Abhp Lori!), disciplining pro-abortion Catholic pols in their Churches by obeying Canon 915, you get the picture!

Until these things happen, I'd suggest complete boycotts of any archdiocesan collections in both DC and Baltimore.

Archbishop Lori Lies About Baltimore

Either the archbishop is lying or he is inexcusably deluded about the true nature of things in the center of his archdiocese.  For the record, I was born and lived early childhood in Baltimore.  My family (both sides) has its roots in Baltimore.  That said, I agree with President Trump when he tweeted that sections of Baltimore (Elijah Cummings' district to be precise) is infested with crime and rats.

Once upon a time it was a decent place.  Now why did it go to seed?  Well, consider that the last time that a Republican was mayor was in 1967, when Theodore McKeldin's term ended.  That was over 50 years ago.  Now consider the riots that occurred four years ago.  Then Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said she ordered city police to stand down during the looting, burning and mayhem to give "to those who wished to destroy space to do that".  At that time, Lori was archbishop.  Did he selectively forget that little quip or the other Democrat scandals centered in Baltimore?

But progressive bishops have long marched in lock-step with their Democrat sugar-daddies and puppet-masters!  So when the President spoke truth to the mess that is in Baltimore, Lori had to leap to their defense, knowing damned well that the Democrats made Baltimore into a mess, just as they have done for Detroit, Chicago and other metropolitan areas that they control.

Archbishop Lori, if you truly want to help Baltimore, then start being the leader that the local Catholics need.  That means clearing St Matthew's and St Vincent de Paul's of the gay-nazi filth that is poisoning the souls of their parishioners and the surrounding areas.  That means preaching from the pulpit on the evils of contraception, abortion, euthanasia.  That means calling pro-abortion Catholics to repentance and denying Holy Communion to them until they do.  Are you up for the challenge?

Faithful Christians Taking Stands In Archdioceses Of Baltimore And Washington

Pursuant to yesterday's post, I'd like to point out a group of concerned people from Lexington Park, MD who are standing up to the filth oozing from the public libraries.  Last month I wrote of a "drag queen story hour" that took place at the local library, presumably funded with taxpayers' dollars.

Last week a County Commission meeting was held in St. Mary's County.  LifesiteNews and related links will show you the testimony presented by outraged Christians at the obvious sexual grooming of area children.  It appears that the library board isn't elected but these commissioners are.  These commissioners hold the purse strings for the library.  Many more good people need to rise up and advise these commissioners that come next election day they may find themselves tossed out on their ears.

If you go back to my June 28th post, you'll see a comment from "St Mary's Resident" arguing that my rebuke of the local clergy was unfair.  He/she mentioned the holy hour that occurred in reparation for the sins committed at that "story hour".  While it's all well and good to pray within the safe confines of Catholic property, that will not suffice as a substitute for getting out where the real need is.  Moreover, I noticed no Catholic clergy in the videos of that commissioner meeting.

Lexington Park lies within the Archdiocese of Washington.  Who has heard of anything said by Archbishop Gregory about this travesty?  Not I!  Anyone?

Shifting our attention to the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston WV, a suffrigan of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, we hear with gladness of Catholics standing up to the stonewalling by Archbishop Lori.  They call themselves Lay Catholic Voices for Change.  They have learned early on that the only language this crowd of bishops knows is the language of money.  They have spoken it by announcing a boycott.  Apparently it didn't take long for Lori et al to get the message for the latter have announced a spate of reforms.  I only counsel my WV colleagues to monitor that situation closely and if any sleight of hand occurs, to reinstate that boycott immediately.  Good for them!

May their numbers increase!

The Gay Mafia In The MD/DC Church

Last week Archbishop Vigano revealed in an interview that while he was nuncio, he received numerous complaints regarding Msgr Walter Rossi, rector of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington DC.  He allegedly preyed upon male students of the Catholic University of America, where the Shrine is located.  The LifeSiteNews article details Rossi's connections with now-disgraced Bishop Bransfield, as well as McCarrick and Wuerl.

Archbishop Vigano made reference to George Neumayr.  The latter wrote that Rossi suggested group sex to young men who rewarded those who submitted to him and persecuted those who didn't.  Several years ago, Rossi had Neumayr's name and face put on some sort of Shrine security notice and barred him from the premise.  No reason was ever given.  While that action is allowable at civil law, it isn't allowable at canon law.

This past Sunday on the Feast of Corpus Christi, Neumayr attempted to attend Mass and participate in the Corpus Christi procession.  He was spotted and ordered to leave.  Church Militant tried to follow up with the Shrine staff.  As a demonstration of what the Gay Mafia church really means by "transparency", the questions were stonewalled.

It's worth noting that now-disgraced Bishop Bransfield, embroiled in his own scandals, is a predecessor of Rossi's.  Allegedly he's being investigated by Archbishop Lori.  But Lori is a busy man - busy about the wrong things.  He and many other left-wing prelates are actively trying to undermine President Trump's efforts to deport border crashers as we see from this piece on the Archdiocese of Baltimore's site.

Please take note of several details.  First, through this "parish id program", we see that the archdiocese will be giving aid and comfort to those who are willfully flouting US immigration laws.  Second, this Brooks woman is slandering the men and women of ICE, characterizing their efforts as "domestic terrorism".  Because the ADB published her remarks with no disclaimer, we can logically assume that they partake in her guilt of slander.  Father Lewandowski takes it a step further by blustering that ICE "has to go through me first".  It must also be noted that Brooks is a member of BUILD (all in the blue shirts).  A simple google search of them reveals that they are an affiliate of the Industrial Areas Foundation, founded by Saul Alinsky himself.

So there you have it.  Lori is dealing with Bransfield.  He continues to let Father Joseph Muth and his gay-rights cronies run amok at St Matthew's Church (I believe they marched in the Baltimore Pride parade again).  So now he's thumping his chest over illegals?  Or is he just hankering after some of those Catholic Charity dollars?

Right now things are looking rather sordid in the leadership of both the Archdioceses of Washington and Baltimore.  We will keep you abreast as you keep the church in your prayers.

Archdiocese Of Baltimore Aids And Abets Border Crashers

Canon 212 pointed me to this article from Not-At-All Catholic Reporter.  Given its dissident slant, NCR speaks glowingly of this nonsense.  However, it is scandalous on several fronts.

This isn't the first time that Lori has pandered to border-crashers.  Dare I opine that the scent of federal grants is a strong impetus for this pandering?

One of the parishes that will roll out this program is St Matthews - yes, that St Matthew's!  This sorry excuse for a parish has openly participated in Baltimore's "gay pride" parades during the summers.  Lori ostensibly told them that they were not to carry signs that identify the parish in last summer's parade.  Mind you, he didn't tell them not to particpate at all, but just to keep the parish name hush-hush.  Of course St Matthew's flouted that directive anyway.  So what did Lori do?  Absolutely nothing.  He just turned a blind eye as he always has.  A real bishop with half a spine and sense of duty would have placed that errant parish under interdict a long time ago in addition to defrocking the dissident pastor.  Doesn't it make one wonder just what Muth et al are holding over Lori's head?  And now we hear that Lori is giving them a prominent role in his own smooching up to illegal aliens.

We also hear that an outfit called Baltimore United In Leadership Development is also playing a prominent role.  Now click on its "about us" subpage.  Notice that they are affiliates of the Industrial Areas Foundation.  The IAF was founded by Saul Alinsky himself.  Please study the posts in the preceding two links to understand why it's most harmful for the Church in Baltimore to grant legitimacy to any Alinskyite organization.

So there you have it!  To curry favor with the progressives running Baltimore and to glom onto some grants tied to illegal immigration, the Archdiocese of Baltimore is striking hands with both a flaming dissident parish and a left-wing Alinskyite organization.  What could possibly go right with this arrangement?

I believe the Archdiocese of Baltimore is conducting its CCHD in-pew collection in a weekend or two.  This is one collection that should be totally boycotted.

From The Fox Guarding Hen House Department - Lori Investigates Bransfield

Bishop Michael Bransfield of the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston (WV) is no longer the prelate of that diocese.  He is currently under investigation for alleged homosexual predation on young men.  He is 75 years old anyway and accordingly had to submit his resignation.  This diocese is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Baltimore.  Archbishop William Lori of Baltimore is leading the investigation into the Bransfield allegations.  He will also serve as apostolic administrator of Wheeling-Charleston until the pope appoints a new bishop.

This is another case of the fox guarding the hen house.  Church Militant articulated their own concerns about this development.  In addition, I have written quite a bit about the homosexual infiltration that has been allowed to fester within the Archdiocese of Baltimore.  Much of my writing has been focused on St Matthew's on Loch Raven Boulevard.  Its pastor, Father Joseph Muth, has been defiant in his promotion of the mortal sin of sodomy, going so far as to lead his parish as they march in Baltimore's "gay pride" parade year after year.  Over the years I and others have written to Lori to ask him to replace Muth, as he is leading many in this parish to hell.  A friend pointed out to me that in addition to St Matthew's, Muth is now scandalizing the parishioners of Blessed Sacrament on Old York Road as well.  That is a recent assignment and had to be Lori's doing.

Lori is probably yet another prelate who should be thinking of early retirement.  He is not qualified, by dint of his own facilitation of gays in Baltimore, to be investigating anybody.

Archdiocese Of Baltimore Kowtows To Secular Culture Regarding Wedding Venues

The Archdiocese of Baltimore is allowing weddings to take place outside Catholic Churches.  Any Catholic with any trace of the sensus fidelium will understand that Matrimony is one of the Seven Sacraments, deserving of all solemnity and protection of Holy Mother Church.  Of course it should be celebrated in front of the Blessed Sacrament and in the context of a Nuptial Mass.  Such rubrics are a reminder that the Catholic wedding isn't just about the couple to be married, but more importantly is centered on God Himself.  Now that the archdiocese has acquiesced to secular culture and attitudes regarding the venue for matrimony, it stands to reason that it will offer no antidote to the poisonous mindsets regarding marriage, period.

It's no coincidence that this news comes to us just before the various pride debaucheries are to take place in major cities across the nation - Baltimore being one of them.  No doubt St Matthew's on Loch Raven Boulevard will be participating, as it has done in years past; probably other parishes will join in. One can count on Archbishop Lori et al to look the other way.  Meanwhile the faithful Catholics had better do prayer and reparation, not only for those celebrating mortal sin, but for the prelates who won't offer a peep to protect the souls in their charge.

Open Letter To Archbishop Lori Regarding St. Matthew's On Loch Raven Boulevard

Archbishop Lori, for several years now, St. Matthew's on Loch Raven Boulevard has been led by Father Joseph Muth.  At his direction this parish has openly promoted the mortal sin of sodomy within its parish structures.  It has openly participated in Baltimore's "gay pride days" these past several years.  With its parish organization known as LEAD, it is fostering and hastening the damnation of numerous parishioners.  A Catholic parish is supposed to be a place where Catholics can receive teaching and Sacraments that will assist them in their ultimate goal for heaven, not delude them into committing mortal sins that will hinder if not prevent their salvation.  Sadly, it is the latter that has been occurring for several years now.  You and your chancery staff cannot pretend to be ignorant of this travesty.

The scandals from that parish continue to multiply.  This parish apparently is having elections for its parish council.  According to its May 28th bulletin, one candidate is Jordan Differding.  I link to the bulletin now.  On page six, Mr. Differding plainly states that he is "engaged" to another man and that the two plan to "marry" on June 17 (I pray it's not at St Matthew's).  Differding, on his Facebook page, is quite up front regarding his disordered tendencies.   Father Muth cannot claim ignorance about the fact that a candidate for parish council has openly proclaimed his perversion and his intention to live in mortal sin.  Given Father Muth's history, it is likely that he applauds Differding's debauchery.

Your Excellency, enough is enough.  You cannot allow Catholic souls to be scandalized by a parish that is literally being led to hell.  You, as bishop, have some accountability before God for these souls, and those of the rest of the Baltimore archdiocese who stand to be led astray not only by the filth pouring forth from this parish, but also by the abysmal silence of its shepherds.

So what will you do??

Catholics Of Archdiocese Of Baltimore - Is This Scenario Playing Out In Your Parishes?

I have written about Cardinal Dolan and his chicaneries within the Archdiocese of New York many times.  Church Militant has been at the forefront of exposing the slime and corruption within that archdiocese.  In particular, they helped shed the light on the sex-and-embezzlement case regarding Father Peter Miqueli.  This case, combined with the stonewalling by Dolan et al that parishioners received as they attempted to seek redress in accordance with canon law protocols, has caused these parishioners to resort to legal action.  I hope they prevail in court.

But it seems that the Miqueli situation is simply one tip of the iceberg.  Again, Church Militant has attempted to get clarification from the New York chancery.  Of course the chancery has engaged in their usual stonewalling.  Meanwhile an employee of the Archdiocese of New York agreed to an interview with Voris under cover of anonymity.  I present the video below.  Because the voice distortion may make some of "Bob's" remarks difficult to understand, I now link to the transcript.

As you listen to "Bob", you'll hear him remark that the New York scenario is most likely being repeated all over the country, if not the world.  With that, I ask you to review the findings regarding the de facto gay occupation that exists within the parish of St. Matthew's in Baltimore (Loch Raven Boulevard).  I have reason to suspect that indeed a very similar, if not identical situation exists within the Archdiocese of Baltimore, as evinced within the Archdiocese of New York.  I know for a fact that the revelations of the debauchery in St. Matthew's have ruffled many feathers, causing certain individuals to lash out.  At this time I am not at liberty to divulge details.

Faithful Catholics of the Archdiocese of Baltimore (and elsewhere), please keep your eyes and ears open.  There is a saying that many of us see displayed over interstates from time to time: "If you see something, say something."  Please do so.  If you get no satisfaction from official church channels, please start organizing among yourselves and take some actions, such as organized collection boycotts.  You are not helpless, especially if you stick together.  Archbishop Fulton Sheen once said that it will be up to the laity to save the Church.  That time is most likely now.

Baltimore Parish Openly Facilitates Sodomy

Our Lord Jesus Christ founded the Roman Catholic Church, that is, the One True Church, for one reason: to help souls get to heaven.  That is her sacred charge: from the Vatican on down to the individual parish.  In Baltimore there exists one parish that is doing the precise opposite.

I speak of St. Matthew's Church on Loch Raven Boulevard - quite close to one of my early childhood homes.  While we usually attended St. Pius X, occasionally we would attend Sunday Mass at St Matthew's.  In those days, during the early 1960s, all Catholic Churches embraced their God-given mission.  St. Matthew's has now reneged and is actually greasing the skids to hell for many of its parishioners.  By affirming sodomites in their mortal sins, they are showing anything but charity towards them, for true charity leads away from sin and to heaven through repentance and the Sacraments.  In fact, because they are formally and materially cooperating in mortal sin, many in the parish who participate in this enabling of sodomy are guilty of mortal sin - most especially the pastor, Father Joseph Muth.  The proverbial "millstone around the neck" appears to be a parish organization called LEAD; I'll provide screenshots of the website below.

There is quite a detailed article regarding the parish on the website of the Not-At-All Catholic Reporter.  You'll see that this LEAD outfit is not concerned at all about leading homosexuals from their life of sin into a truly Catholic life.  No, instead they revel in the fact that they have two "married" lesbians (one of them being a former Catholic sister) and that they participated in Baltimore's gay pride parade last summer.  Most disturbing is that Auxiliary Bishop Denis Madden said of LEAD, "I was impressed by them.  They are good people."  If Bishop Madden thinks that folks who are literally leading others to perdition are "good people", I can only surmise that he himself jeopardizes his own soul by giving his own affirmation to sodomy.

Here are the screen shots with some commentary.  Then please continue reading below.

What you see to the right are pictures of Baltimore's gay pride parade, a celebration of perversion and
mortal sin.  One gets the impression that this webmaster tried to get pictures that weren't too vile, but this one is bad enough.

Now you see on this subpage is a list of the usual "gang of suspects": every gay rights group that has at least a thin "katholyc" veneer.  So does that really include the National Coalition of American Nuns?  No wonder so many of these orders are dying off!  Apparently there is another parish in
Baltimore that is similarly infested: St Ignatius.  We'll look at them at another time

Here is the contact information for the prelate of Baltimore, Archbishop William Lori.  Contact him and ask him what he intends to do about this situation.  As Archbishop, he is the chief shepherd of this parish and he bears responsibility before God for each and every one of those souls that is imperiled by this scandalous situation.  Given the fact that the Not-At-All Catholic Reporter has broadcast this debacle nationwide, there is no way that Archbishop Lori can plead ignorance.  Insist that Lori disciplines Father Muth; while he's at it, he might want to address serious matters with Auxiliary Bishop Madden as well.

Thank You, Delegate Wade Kach! Archbishop Lori, You Should Be Ashamed!!

It appears that the Archdiocese of Baltimore is jumping on the bandwagon.  They want to place some of the illegal immigrants at St. Vincent Villa in Timonium - for a Federal grant, of course (I don't know the amount).

State Delegate Wade Kach penned a letter to the Archbishop, citing his concern about the serious communicable diseases that have been found among the illegals and the eventual cost to Baltimore and to the US.  Here he discusses his concerns with WBAL-1090 (listen to the embedded interview).  Moreover, he makes the point that Lori's actions make him complicit with Obama's flagrant violation of our nation's laws.  While Kach rightly advocates proper treatment of the immigrants, he also makes plain that they should be returned to their point of entry into this country and sent back.  Obama's usage of these kids as pawns (or fodder for child-trafficking) is itself a crime against humanity; Lori and so many of his brother bishops are playing the willing lackeys in this scheme.  That is unconscionable and must stop - that means you, Catholic prelates!

Open Letter To Archbishop Lori Regarding Two Problematic Baltimore Priests

Your Excellency, you have spoken much (and well) regarding the perils that are confronting Holy Mother Church in ways that are waxing more blatant and ominous with each passing day.   The threats posed to us by the HHS mandate and other encroachments upon Christianity must be met with charity, but also with firmness.

However,  as we fight the culture of death around us, we must first fight it within our own ranks.  I regret to state the obvious: that progressive influences are ensconced within the Church and within the Archdiocese of Baltimore.  Several weeks ago, Father Richard Lawrence mocked your letter from his pulpit during Mass.  To that you issued a reply stating that no one can change moral teaching.  To be frank, it was much too nuanced and general.

It has come to my attention that Father Lawrence has at least one like-minded crony in crime among the clergy.  I speak of Msgr Paul Byrnes, a retired priest who assists with Masses at St Peter the Apostle in Oakton, MD (southern Garrett County, in the western panhandle).  As confirmed by the Catholic Review, he operates a blog called “Half Hermit by the Lake”.  On November 7, the day after the election,   he praised the election of Barack Obama and other pro-abortion politicians.  Moreover, he lauded the passage of Question 6, allowing for the perversion of marriage in the state of Maryland.  He opined in that post that gay marriage fits within the Church’s teachings on social justice.  Mind you, he made these statements in a blog that’s available to anyone at the click of a mouse.

While I hope that these two priests are "flashes in the pan", I suspect that others share their warped views albeit quietly.  At any rate, Your Excellency, you have some housecleaning that is screaming for your immediate attention.  For the sake of these two priests and the rest of your archdiocese, I strongly urge you to bring down public discipline upon these two priests.  I emphasize "public" because their behaviors have brought very public scandal upon the Archdiocese of Baltimore.  We can safely assume that their terrible example has helped lead astray many of your flock, to the point of imperiling their immortal souls.

There is an additional dimension to the trouble posed by dissident priests that extend well beyond your diocesan boundaries.  A few days ago, Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, the Holy Father's emissary to the US, warned that dissident priests, Catholic professors and other officials posed "grave threats to religious liberty".  I surmise he refers to the undermining of your authority in the eyes of the state and populace at large.  It therefore behooves you, Your Excellency, to remove such threats as they appear within your diocesan boundaries.

In a meeting at St John Neumann Church in Annapolis a few months ago, you stated that in part you were beholden to the USCCB regarding the exercise of your episcopacy within your Archdiocese.  Your Excellency, the Holy Father has stated quite plainly that national bishops' conferences have no intrinsic authority at canon law.  You do not need their approval to act, nor need you fear any repercussion for exercising your duties within your archdiocese.  The Holy Father has already laicized Roy Bourgeous.  He has given an example for the US bishops to follow.  Please do so immediately.

Baltimore Priest Sullies His Pulpit And Vocation

I speak of Father Richard Lawrence of St Vincent de Paul Church in Baltimore MD.  Last weekend during his homily he read a letter from Archbishop Lori regarding MD's Question 6, then stated quite openly his own support of perversion couched in a caricature of matrimony.  Of course the Not-so Catholic Reporter gushed all over this.

By the way - this parish, on its website, shills for women's "ordination".  Not too surprising.

The Vortex delves into this situation and that of another dissident priest.  Click here if you cannot see embedded video.
