Melissa Harris-Perry And Pals Trash-Talk A Baby

Melissa Harris-Perry (hereafter referred to as "MHP"), an MSNBC fixture, hosted a panel of five like-minded progressives who thought it would be hilarious to mock one of Mitt Romney's grandchildren precisely because he's black and adopted.  What strikes me as particularly hypocritical is that the pro-abortion crown likes to throw in our faces the pre-programmed sneer "how many black children have you adopted"?  Well, in their eyes we're "damned if we do and damned if we don't".  Actually, they really don't care just as long as they think they can shut us up.

Now if you believe you've seen MHP's name on this blog in previous posts, you are correct.  MHP has quite the talent for opening her mouth and inserting both feet.  Please click here to read of previous antics of hers, for I will refer to them later in this post.

Consider two of those posts.  In one, it is revealed that she believes unborn children are "things in the uterus".  In another of those posts, she voices her belief that the already-born child is alive if and only if the parents feel he/she is alive.  So as we watch MHP and her equally heartless companions mock the little boy, we have good reason to wonder if they understand that they're mocking a real human being.  They remind me of a bunch of Nazi leaders chortling over the latest anecdotes about Jews executed in the death camps.

Another post shows a picture of MHP with tampons hanging from her ears.  One might be forgiven if they were to mistake them for the fluff from where her brain should be oozing out of her ears.  Now the video..

Obama Equates Voting With Revenge

In keeping with the "toned down rhetoric" exemplified by the Obama-favoring ads I've been posting for your review, the Messiah Most Miserable advised rally attendees that "voting is the best revenge."  This occurred yesterday in Springfield, OH.

So he equates voting with revenge?  I've heard voting described as "act of patriotism", "love of country", "civic duty", "right won by the blood of soldiers", etc.  But ... revenge?  Pray tell, revenge upon whom??

I'm not the only one asking that question and some others.  I link now to the Inquisitor site.  On that site are two videos: one of the Messiah Most Miserable uttering the banal remark, and the other of Mitt Romney offering his own voting suggestions in reply.  If you can't see embedded videos, click here and here respectively.

Rev Harry Jackson Endorses Mitt Romney

Reverend Harry Jackson is Senior Pastor of Hope Christian Church in College Park, MD.  He has taken leadership roles in defending traditional marriage both in DC and MD.  He recently produced a video explaining why he believes Mitt Romney, rather than Barack Obama, is the superior candidate for US President.  Click here if you can't see embedded video.

We Are Warned! "Do Not Elect Mitt Romney"!!

And who uttered that dire warning?  The United Nations!  Well, I guess that wraps it up, doesn't it?  Why, if the UN takes the liberty to butt in on our internal affairs, why...why, they must be correct, right?

/sarcasm

UN = Useless Nincompoops

This is a bunch that belongs in the dung heap of history's chapters of nonsense.  We should withdraw from that silly bunch - the sooner the better.

Cdl Dolan Snubbed Judie Brown But Dined With Obama

There are times when I think I heard it all, when it comes to priorities of some prelates which can only be called "whacked out".  Those times generally don't last too long for I invariably am taken aback by new whoppers (ht - Pewsitter).  That happened again as I read Judie Brown's blog piece today.

Judie Brown, as most in the pro-life community know, is founder and president of American Life League, a leading Catholic and pro-life organization.  In her article today, she relates how then-bishop Timothy Dolan backed out on an invitation by Pro-Life Wisconsin to give the invocation at their annual banquet in 2009.  Why did he do that?  Because Ms. Brown was to be the keynote speaker.

The Presidential Election And Religious Freedom

The Catholic Association has released its Religious Freedom Scorecard.  The pdf can be downloaded here. Please do so, print it and distribute freely.  Here's a clip recently released by the Romney/Ryan campaign (click here if you can't see embedded video).

Poor Widdle MSNBC! Sniff-Sniff! Boo-Hoo!

Watch this clip of MSNBC wonks/shills having a royal hissy-snit-fit over the debate last night!  Please - grab a hanky and feel their pain!  I think it's a safe conjecture that for Chris Matthews, the leg-thrill is gone!

An Obama Rant

No, no!  I'm not referring to anything the Messiah Most Miserable uttered this evening during his sorry performance at the debate (Dang!  No teleprompter!).  I refer to a video of a 2007 speech that he gave at Virginia's Hampton University five years ago.  Listen to him closely as he adopts a most unusual accent during his tirade!  He shows himself to be quite the angry snarling racist.  I wonder if this is a hint at how he must have sounded after Romney smeared him all over the stage during this evening's debate?

Speaking of this evening's debate, the cameras were focused solely on the candidates and didn't once pan to the audience.  Pity!  Colorado NARAL sent activists there: one of them was dressed as - bet you can't guess! - a "vagina" (I put that in quotes because they really don't understand anatomy).  That really seems to be quite the fashion amongst pro-aborts these days, as they reduce women to gross caricatures of female genitalia.  They should have sent in someone dressed as a brain - Obama could have used one of those.

Romney Responds To Attacks - What Do The Reporters Do?

This morning GOP candidate Mitt Romney held a press conference during which he voiced some well-said criticism of the Obama administration's handling of the situation - including the Cairo apology.  The full clip can be seen at Fox News.

Before Romney appeared, the reporters in attendance were, uh, chatting amongst themselves as it were.  In reality, they were coordinating questions that they would ask Romney later on.  However, some mikes were live and their contrivances were recorded for us all to hear, thanks to Newsbusters and RightScoop.  Such naughty little boys and girls!  Would they have been similarly conspiring against the Messiah Most Miserable if he were the one speaking?  I think we all know the answer to that; they'd be lobbing him softball questions, for they worship him as Dear Leader.  They might as well drop all pretenses of objective journalism.  Even if they don't, such pretenses are being stripped from them.  It's interesting to listen to this one first, and then to Romney's address (that's how the events occurred anyway.

US Embassies Attacked And US - Apologizes??

Talk about kissing the hand that slaps you, but that is just what happened.  Our consulate in Benghazi was attacked and four US officials were murdered.  So what does the US Embassy in Cairo have to say?  Quote:  "The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others."

My understanding is that the jihadists were having quite the temper tantrum over some film that allegedly insulted Mohammed.  It's much like what we Catholics did when "The Last Temptation of Christ" was playing or when the "Piss Christ" garbage was publicly exhibited.  Yes, that last statement is factually untrue, but I put that in there to make plain the differences between the True Faith that civilizes versus bogus junk that turns its adherents into violent snarling barbarians.   It's quite likely that the film was merely an alibi, as they wanted to attack US territory on this anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Fat lot of good that apology did for the Cairo embassy.  It too was ransacked and overrun.  I submit that their grovelling and sniveling statement only encouraged the bullies.  Weakness tends to have that effect on bullies, as most kids learn in the school playground.

Speaking of kids, it's time to expel the brats from the White House this November.  If there's anything that the events of the past two days should have made crystal clear, it's that we need competent adults in the White House.

Voting And The Principle Of Double Effect

On Thursday, August 15 2012, BlogTalk Radio had a program called Salve Regina.  I’ve never listened to it before, but decided to do so when I learned that Michael Voris of ChurchMilitantTV would be a guest and that Catholics in political life would be discussed.  The podcast is here; please listen.

I agree with him that there has been much degradation in society today, that our departure from our Christian roots has been extensive and pervasive.  I don’t share his opinion that the spiral is irreversible (stated at the 17:00 mark).  It will be if we adopt this opinion as our own for then we will be engaged with what can be called a “self-fulfilling prophesy”.   At the 17:20 mark he starts to ask the question, “where do we go from here?”.

Pillamina! The Star Of The Obama Campaign!!

Uh, oh!   Obama's Minions Most Mindless are breaking out the BIG GUNS!  Romney and the GOP might as well throw in the towel right now  because they ain't got no chance now!  Why?  Here comes (drum roll and trumpets, please!)

PILLAMINA!

Woo-hoo!  Just watch how this new pro-abort icon exhibits all the crass class that is typical of Planned Parenthood.  Yes, it is they who are responsible for Pillamina and her antics - in other words, just another example of our tax dollars - hard(ly) at work.  Click here if you can't see embedded video.

No sane/rational person could make up that crap!!

Lifesite News informs us that Pillamina might follow Romney on the campaign trail.  Well I'm sure Romney must be shaking in his boots at the thought - from laughter, that is!  All he has to do is point out that woman in her get-up as one of the more harmless (if nitwit) examples of how Planned Parenthood funding is an utter waste of taxpayers' dollars.

Christians Should Vote For Romney Because Judges Matter

The above is the title of an article written by Matt Barber, Vice President of Liberty Counsel Action.  I first read it in yesterday's op-ed section of the Washington Times and now Life News carries it as well.  Please read it.  I couldn't agree with him more and I don't think I can say it better than he.

The last few lines deserve special emphasis, so I'll quote them here.  "My friend and colleague Cynthia Dunbar, a law professor at Liberty University School of Law, recently wrote: “In this election year, we find ourselves with only three realistic courses of action: 1) Don’t vote; 2) vote for Obama; or 3) vote for Romney.

It’s simple: A Christian nonvote is a vote for Mr. Obama in that it fails to affirmatively cancel out an Obama vote. Furthermore, any Christian who votes for Mr. Obama will get to take that up with God.
This leaves us with our third and final choice: Christians must vote for Mitt Romney. A second Obama term is simply unacceptable. We won’t survive it."

I'll be frank.  I've been hearing too much foolish jibber-jabber about "3rd parties (I don't give a rat's rump what the reason is!)" and "stay at home".  Given the stakes that we face, neither of these is morally acceptable.  I believe they constitute sins against the virtue of prudence.  Later there will be time to discuss policies and priorites, but that must wait until the November elections.  Right now the priority is Obama's defeat.  We dare not fail.

Ron Paul Drops Out - Now Let's Move On And Defeat Obama!

A Newsmax story today brings news that Ron Paul will no longer campaign in primaries, although he appears unlikely to endorse Mitt Romney.  I salute him for having the good sense to understand that he'd be engaging in a destructive act of futility to continue and echo his call to pay attention to local elections.

There are many who find themselves cool towards Romney, as his stances towards social issues are rather lackluster in comparison with those of recent GOP candidates.  Still, they are light-years better than those of Obama.  In all fairness, the position of an earthworm on the social issues would be better than those of Obama; all the more reason to do what needs to be done to cause his defeat in the polls.

I've heard it asked "why vote for Obama-lite"?  Why?  Because we don't want "Obama Regular".  One, and only one, of Obama or Romney will take the White House.  It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that more damage will be wrought under Obama than Romney - and yes, I'm speaking of spiritual damage as well.  So let's lay aside - mortify- our feelings of disgust (yes I said "our"; I share those feelings) and work to defeat Obama.  Anything else is akin to moral/political/spiritual hara-kiri.

Third-Party Candidacies - A Destructive Delusion For This Election

Two weeks ago, Rick Santorum suspended his presidential campaign.  Anyone reading this blog knows that he was my preferred candidate until that time.  Unless something happens out of the ordinary, Mitt Romney will be the GOP nominee.

Now comes the time to face reality.  To wit:

  • Come the first Tuesday in November, one of two men will win the election - Obama or the GOP nominee.  No other individual will win that election.  Pure and simple.  Got that?
  • Anyone who runs as an "independent" or some other third-party candidate will dilute the vote of either the Democratic or Republican candidate depending on ideology.  For example, a "Green Party" candidate would likely dilute the Democratic vote to the Republican's advantage.  A conservative or libertarian "third-party" would dilute the GOP vote to Obama's advantage.
I am hearing of several conservative and pro-life "third-party wannabees" that are making disturbing noises of running in the general election.  Some of them realize that they haven't a snowball's chance in hell of winning, but they think there are other goals that can be accomplished, e.g. education, party advancement, etc.

However laudable these goals may be in and of themselves, they will be more than overshadowed by the other effect of their candidacies, that is, the dilution of the GOP vote to the advantage of Obama.  These goals, worthy though they may be in and of themselves, must be subordinated to the goal of removing Obama from the White House.  Should Obama win (God forbid), our republic may well not survive another four years for an election.  Obama shows troubling signs of assuming dictatorial powers in complete disregard of the Constitution.

I therefore implore any "third-party" aspirants to understand that if they unwittingly contribute to Obama's re-election, that any goals that they hold dear will never be realized.  Please cease your futile (and destructive) efforts and unite (at least for now) behind the GOP nominee to remove from the Oval Office the worst individual yet who has ever occupied it.

Rick Santorum Ends His Presidential Campaign

It's all over the internet by now, that Rick Santorum has suspended his campaign.  In other words, it's over.  Barring some lightning bolt out of the blue, Mitt Romney is poised to take the GOP nomination and run against Obama.

While I would have preferred Santorum to Romney, I much more prefer Romney to Obama.  These are the cards that are dealt to us.  We must play them or we, as a nation, will lose.

Ann Barnhardt On Mitt Romney

I like this lady!  She's right - the RINO establishment does seem intent on foisting Romney on us.  However, we don't have to let it happen!  Click here if you cannot see embedded video.
