Jesuit Kiss-Up To Islam In Wake Of Orlando Massacre Follows Progressive Script

In the Jesuit progressive rag known as "America", we read an article - on the heels of the Orlando shootings - entitled "Shall We Fast In Ramadan?".  Of course it's written by a Jesuit.  In a saner time, the majority of Catholics would have responded to that question along the lines of "HELL, NO!!"  Leaving aside (for the moment) the tenets of Islam that call for butchery, rape of women, jihad, etc, we as Catholics cannot affirm in the slightest one single act of idol worship.  And yes, "allah" is a false idol, if not an actual demon.

Yesterday Attorney General Loretta Lynch let loose with the preposterous claim that the motive of Omar Mateen "may never be known".  She preferred to use this massacre to shill for "gun control".   She also announced that when transcripts of Mateen's conversations are released, they will be scrubbed of any references to his Islamic mindsets.   Got that?  She claims that Mateen's reasons "may never be known" while at the same time obfuscating all evidence that make his jihadic motivations obvious to any but the most self-deluded progressive (such as the writers and staff of America).

This isn't the first time she's done damage-control for Muslims.  Last December she hinted that the Justice Department could investigate speech "hostile towards Muslims".  After that went viral on the internet, she had to do some damage-control for herself and attempted to back-pedal.

It really is disappointing to watch Catholic publications fall lock-step behind the most godless administration in the history of the United States of America.  Sadly it's not surprising.

Today's Orlando Massacre - Ignoring The Obvious

By now most people heard about today's shooting at a gay nightclub called the Pulse in Orlando Florida.  Fifty people were killed and another fifty or so wounded.  Local police killed the gunman, Omar Mateen, an American citizen born to Afghan parents.  The FBI is investigating this as an act of domestic terrorism and stated that Mateen bragged about his ties to Islamic organizations.  The Islamic State is claiming responsibility for the shootings.

Clash Daily investigated Mateen's voting patterns and discovered that he was a registered Democrat.  I mention this only to showcase the foolishness of some ACLU lawyers who are immediately laying blame for this massacre on the GOP and the "Christian right".  They accuse the latter of creating an "anti-queer climate" while conveniently ignoring the Koran's call for the execution of homosexuals.

Other progressives are making similarly politically correct noises in complete disregard of the Islamic terrorists who are bragging about their commission of this slaughter.  Joy Reid of MSNBC is carping on gun control as she opines that the core issue is "how easy it is to get a gun".  Earth to Joy!  Earth to Joy!  Might it be ever so possible that the Islamic State armed Mateen?  There are indications that indeed a terrorist organization did direct the massacre.

Of course the Messiah Most Miserable got in on the act.  In his own shilling against guns, he asked "if that's the kind of country we want to be".  Well, if we don't want to be that "kind of country", we need to acknowledge the Islamic cancer for what it is - something that progressives are loathe to do.  It's high time that the United States wakes up to this jihadic plague.  How long will we ignore the obvious?  For all their heinous faults, the jihadists are more honest than many in US leadership about the impetus behind these acts of terrorism.

We must also address this matter from another angle.  As mentioned earlier, the attack took place at a gay hangout.  It's therefore all too reasonable to surmise that many were engaging in mortal sins.  Let us pray that at least some of those found the grace of perfect contrition before they died so that they could at least attain eternal salvation.  Sodomy is one of the "sins that cries to heaven for vengeance".  Of course the murders cannot be condoned, but did we see some of that vengeance today?

San Bernardino Shootings: Will The Vatican Finally Wake Up?

First, I extend my prayers to the victims of yesterday's mass shootings in San Bernardino yesterday. Regrettably, there are those who would accuse me of "microagression" by the mere suggestion of prayers for others: more on that in a moment.

When I heard the accounts of how the assailants did their deed, it seemed quite obvious to me that this was a jihadist action, fueled by Islam.  Some had bandied about the idea of someone getting their nose knocked out of joint at the conference and then shooting up the place.  Common sense would have shown that to be impossible.  The shooters were clad in body armor.  They had multiple weapons on them, including explosive devices.  They carried out the shootings in a manner indicative of some military training.  Their entry and exit to and from the building was obviously well-planned (although their planning for the aftermath seems to have gone awry).

Now we are hearing confirmations that the dead man and woman were husband and wife, and radical jihadists.  They had been in communication with groups that are on the FBI watch list.  As this young lady says on The Blaze, "if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it IS a duck"!  Isn't it odd that last week so many of the lame-brain-main-stream media, along with their Democrat/progressive employers, were falling all over themselves to portray Richard Dear as "just another pro-life right-wing nut job" with no evidence whatsoever, but in the face of overwhelming evidence, they can't bring themselves to acknowledge yesterday's shooting to be an act of muslim terrorism?  ISIS does - gleefully of course.  In fact, they created a hashtag #America_burning to celebrate the slaughter.  Now see this from Breitbart how this shooting refutes so many progressive talking points.

But wait!  It gets even more ridiculous as the progressives scurry for some way to use this tragedy to justify their anti-Christian bigotry.  Take a look at the latest screed plastered all over the front page Of the New York Daily News.  Let me say this right off the bat to the creators of this journalistic pig slop.  There is a reason why God "isn't fixing this".  It's really quite simple and the blame for this lies squarely on the shoulders of those who mock Him and pillory His followers.  For decades now, progressives such as the Daily News leadership have done all they could to expunge Christianity from public life in the United States.  They have banned public prayer from schools and other public gatherings.  They have removed placards with the Ten Commandments from public court houses.  They have crammed sodomy down the throats of those who want to obey God in their commercial affairs.  They have - and are - murdering millions of babies, willed into being by God, via abortion and contraception.  The picture of the Daily News shows not only mockery of those who invoke God, but unbridled hatred of God Himself.  When God is so widely rejected, He will withdraw and let mankind experience the logical consequences of the rejection of His providence - a providence that includes His moral precepts.  This is not rocket science!

NOT a "revolution of tenderness"!
We need a real national, world-wide conversion to God and to His Church.  Several days ago, the Pope called for a "revolution of tenderness".  No - a thousand times no!  The last thing the world needs is for Catholic clergy to carry on like a bunch of whiny, metrosexual wussies who yammer on about "tenderness" while the world careens towards hell in a handbasket.  We need our prelates to conduct themselves like real men, such as St. John the Baptist and the Apostles and other martyrs who boldly proclaimed the truth, no matter who got their "poor widdle feel-bads" knocked out of joint.  By the way - if the phrase "revolution of tenderness" sounds sickeningly familiar, it's because that is part of the title of a book written by dissident bishop Cardinal Kasper; see my earlier post for detail on that.

So will the pope continue to rail against "fundamentalist Catholics" (in this video, the pope sounds like he's of the same mind as the Daily News) or will he finally realize he is the Vicar of Christ and get back to the basics of the Catholic faith himself?  Perhaps he'll ditch Kasper, Maradiaga, Wuerl and listen to prelates like:
Let us pray (despite what the Daily News says).

Pope Francis - Doing Damage Control For Terrorists

I saw this on Facebook so I'm not sure when this airborne interview-disaster occurred, but either the pope is woefully misinformed or he is doing the bidding of progressive hacks.  In this interview he claims that Islam is a religion of peace.  Well, let some facts tell the truth - here, here.

It is true that the pope isn't saying himself that the Quaran is a "book of peace"; he's merely repeating the words of muslims who claim to be offended by being lumped in with the terrorists.  But think on this for a minute.  I've heard this talk before.  These alleged "moderates" talk themselves blue in the face by telling us that "not all muslims are like that".  I'm not impressed.  When was the last time you heard these so-called "moderates" publicly rebuke their terrorist-cousins for their crimes against humanity?  I do mean publicly address their rebukes to them as opposed to rebuking non-muslims for acknowledging that the Quran calls for the conversion or murder of "infidels".  I can't think of any, either.

Could it be that these so-called "moderates" are simply conducting another facet of jihad, that is, disarming of their opponents via guilt and appeals to "non-bigotry"?  They are the "damage-control" branch, designed to keep us from seeing the light and repelling them.  Regrettably the pope is aiding and abetting these "moderates" in their public relations "damage control" operations.

Some Catholics Confused Over The Charlie Hebdo Massacre

I'm sure by now we've all heard that in Paris last week, Islamic terrorists massacred a large part of the staff of Charlie Hebdo, a French satirical magazine for mocking the Islamic faith.  To be accurate, many of their cartoons are offensive, and yes, the Catholic faith has been the target of their work that is often pornographic.

What troubles me (besides the obvious vicious murders) is that some faithful Catholics are stating that they are ambivalent regarding the murders precisely because of Hebdo's Catholic-bashing.  Let me state that I believe two issues are being conflated, with gross disservice being done to truth.

The two issues being inappropriately intertwined are 1) the indecent output of the magazine and 2) the brutal murders of the magazine employees. Number 1 does not have anything to do with number 2, and certainly does not justify murder in the slightest. When we mention the two in the same breath, we can give the impression that we condone the murders out of "offended religious sensibilities" or at least we think the guilt of the murders is mitigated by "hurt religious sensibilities".

Some attitudes of faithful Catholics are evidenced in a post by A Blog For Dallas Area Catholics, with whom I usually agree.  Unfortunately he seems to put the Charlie Hebdo staff on the same moral par as their jihadists.  Later in the article "Tantem Bloggo" opines that "our modern culture likes to pretend that freedom of speech is a sacred right" and that "error has no rights".  Well, error may have no rights, but erroneous people do, and while "freedom of speech being a "sacred right" may well be debatable, I'd hope he can agree that freedom of speech is a civil right.  Else, how can he and I be confident that we can both write our blogs without governmental molestation?

I've seen other Catholic sites calling into question "unfettered" freedom of speech.  If I can find them again, I'll post links.  Anyway, if they call into question such speech, how do they suggest such speech be controlled?  Who would they suggest should do such controlling?  Do they understand precisely why such a cure might be far worse than the disease?

Pope Francis regrettably falls into that error.  On his way from Sri Lanka to the Philippines, the pope gave another in-flight interview.  I really dread these, and especially this one as it is a "double-header", but the the second part will be its own post.  I link to the NBC article that has the text and video of the interview.  He said "one cannot insult other people's faith" and that if a friend "utters a curse word against my mother, then a punch awaits him".  I find that crack from the Vicar of Christ utterly lamentable and disgraceful to Our Lord.

Of course the Vatican Press Office flew right into "damage control mode" (they get a lot of practice these days), saying the pope was "speaking in a friendly intimate manner among colleagues and friends".  Odd!  When I do that, we are not shoving microphones and cameras into each others' faces!  I could pick this thing apart in a million pieces but I'd veer too far from my main points.

Do we see here how the pope condones the murderous impulses, if not acts, of the jihadists?   The White House contradicted the pope here, saying "no act of public expression justifies violence".  Never in ten million years did I think there would come a day when I would have to side with the White House - particularly this White House - over the Vatican.  I suppose stranger things have happend, but as the saying goes, "the broken clock is correct at least twice a day".

The pope also stated that "every religion has its dignity".  Well, no.  Islam. because it is a murderous
ideology, has no dignity whatsoever.  What the Islamic terrorists did in Paris to the Charlie Hebdo staff is simply typical for them.  No amount of curtailment of free speech will prevent them from carrying out "jihad" or whatever they call their rampages.  To the right are more victims of Islamic violence - these from Nigeria.  Now did any of them engage in satiric speech against Islam and/or Christianity?  Maybe they did, maybe they didn't.  Either way, it doesn't matter - not for these Nigerian victims, not for the Charlie Hebdo victims.  My fellow Catholics - will you please stop conflating the two issues as outlined in the third paragraph in this post?  To continue in this confusion will only aid and abet the terrorists as they seek to silence and destroy us all.

A Muslim Beheads An American - Will US Bishops Finally Learn Some Lessons?

Yesterday in Oklahoma, a recently-fired worker named Alton Nolen went on a murderous spree.  He had just been fired from Vaughn Foods and broke out his knife.  He beheaded one Vaughan Foods employee and was stabbing another when he was shot by the CEO and owner of Vaughan Foods, Mark Vaughan.  Co-workers said that Nolen had been trying to convert them to Islam.  Some accounts to read are Jihadwatch and WesternJournalism.com.  On Facebook he's known as Jah'Keem Yisrael.  Take a look at that page before it's taken down.  His firing had been occasioned by his insistence that women should be stoned for certain offenses, a common belief of Muslims.  I'd suspect his supervisors feared he could turn violent.  If so, their fears were realized.

Besides the general alert that beheading is now occurring on American soil, I think there are some real lessons, particularly for our US bishops.
  1. Moore, OK is about a 20-minute drive from Oklahoma City, maybe 11 miles in distance.  Nolen was said to have lived in Oklahoma City.  What happened in Oklahoma City this past Sunday?  The black mass - that is, worship of demons.  Can anyone doubt now that malevolent spiritual forces were given more free play by those participants in that demonic debacle?  When people flirt with evil, they open all sorts of doors that shouldn't be opened.
  2. If you didn't hear about the black mass until just now (or after it happened), that shows dereliction of duty on the parts of the US bishops.  With the obvious exception of OK's Archbishop Coakley, I do not recall hearing of one bishop who sounded the call for his flock to offer prayers and sacrifices.  All of them should have called their flocks to spiritual battle.  They didn't.  Why not?
  3. Nolen was stopped because Mark Vaughan exercised his Second Amendment rights to keep and bear arms.  Had he not done so, that second woman would have died and there probably would have been more victims.  Under no circumstances should citizens be deprived of their abilities to defend themselves.  Our bishops should be ashamed of themselves for playing the lackey to governmental progressives in trying to strip us of our arms.
  4. The US bishops must cease their inane attempts to portray Islam to be morally equivalent to Christianity.  Yesterday's incident is just the latest evidence that the bishops' pipe dream could not be further from the truth.  That 66-page piece of poppycock that the USCCB wrote would be considered an utter joke if it wasn't based on dangerous naivete of the bishops (unless some of them are closet imams themselves).
We need to oppose our bishops loudly whenever and wherever they play the puppets of the progressives.

Blind Bishops Following Governmental Grants

In the August 13th issue of The Wanderer, we see published an article by Dexter Duggan entitled "Bishops on Wrong Side of the Fence".  This is in reference to the US bishops' take on the massive influx of illegal aliens coming across our southern border.  He makes a number of salient points on which I'd like to comment.

First he correctly opines that "no matter how good the original intentions of a political strategy that has produced damaging results, the USCCB needs to make its overriding priority the advocacy of justice and reform in immigrants’ home countries, not lawbreaking focused on forcing entry into one country alone, the United States."  But as we all know, the bishops continue to echo the Obamanista's demand for amnesty and porous borders.  We see NYC Cardinal Dolan sidling up with rabidly pro-abortion Chuck Schumer to shill for "immigration reform".  (Get a load of that picture; it's almost as disgusting as the picture of Dolan yokking it up with the Messiah Most Miserable at the Al Smith Dinner in 2012).  After calling citizens concerned about this massive influx (that is, people like me) "unbiblical", "inhumane" and "un-American", Dolan garnered some well-deserved criticism by Ann Coulter; I stand with her on this.

Moving down the Wanderer article, we see some statements by Barbara Wilson, a California reporter and commentator who has corresponded with the Wanderer.  She too hit some nails on the head.  She said, "As for the hierarchy of the Church, bishops are glib in their comments about caring for the stranger and now say that amnesty is ‘pro-life’  This smacks of too much politics for me.  On top of that, they ignore the millions of dollars Catholic Charities collects on contracts with the feds to house and care for illegals in locations across the county.  I attend church regularly and have never heard that Catholic Charities in the state has a fund to care for immigrants and many churches are offering temporary housing,  thus the dependence on federal largess.  I think their whole attitude is beyond disingenuous and hypocritical, and is, quite frankly, politically motivated. As someone said, ‘What would Jesus say?’”

Ain't it just peculiar how the bishops don't like to mention that teensy detail of the millions of dollars that Catholic Charities received for the express purpose of handling the burgeoning number of illegals - illegals that, at the time of granting, had not yet arrived?  I suppose when one considers that the bulk of funding that Catholic Charities receives comes from federal grants (that is, our tax dollars at work), one might understand the lack of mention here, but even that is too much to swallow.  A number of us have detailed some of the financing and other political maneuverings that have paved the way for this artificially-induced influx of illegals, the bulk of whom are not innocent little tykes fleeing desperate situations.  See herehere, here, here, here,  I realize that these posts (with related links) are a lot to read, but it's important that you invest the time to do so.  This is information that you'll not read in the lame-brain main-stream media, be that media secular or diocesan.

Let's move on now to another excellent article, this one written by Christopher Manion entitled "A Plea to America's Bishops".  He touches upon the tragedy in Iraq and Syria and the fact that Christians and other minorities are literally fleeing for their lives, as countless relatives have been butchered by Muslims.  He also makes mention that the response of many western countries - including the United States - has been one of passivity and indifferentism.  At a parish in Rome where he met with several mid-east refugees, the Pope basically told them to "move on" and "encourage one another".  Cardinal Wuerl's letter to the priests (see below) indicates that the Pope has sent "a significant sum of money" there - money that will run out.  While in Jordan, His Holiness thanked that country for welcoming Syrian refugees, then went on a tirade that laid the onus of the massacre on "arms dealers".  With all due respect to His Holiness, he's all wet on that one.  Those Muslims engaged in jihad are squarely to blame, not "arms dealers".  I don't believe "arms dealers" are supplying the knives that the jihadist monsters use to behead babies nor the scaffolding on which they hang and crucify Christians.  But I digress.

Manion goes on to ask why the US bishops aren't as solicitous for the welfare of these mid-east refuges as they are for the free passage, amnesty and perks for the illegals coming across our southern border.  The fact is that many if not most of these "children" coming across our borders are teen-aged boys - many of them with gang-related tattoos all over their bodies.  "Fleeing gang violence"?  No, they're bringing gang violence, often by recruiting other members in the retention centers.  Whatever else they are, they are not helpless refugees, as are those fleeing for their lives in the mid-east.

Manion ends by asking "that our bishops will focus their efforts on the Iraqi Christians. Ask them to join us in urging our government to welcome them as the legitimate refugees they really are."  Sadly, I don't think that will happen.  The US bishops are too much in the back pockets of the feds.

In this week's edition of the Catholic Standard, there was a goodly bit of focus on the mid-east situation.  Truth be told, how could they ignore that elephant in the living room?  In it was published a letter from Cardinal Wuerl to his priests stating that prayers and Masses should be offered.  Clearly these are needed, but where are the suggestions for practical assistance?  Would His Eminence had been so ethereal if the topic at hand was the illegal immigrants?  I think not!

The bishops will follow the dictates of the Obama regime as much as they can without forfeiting too much of their moral capital.  The Obamanistas, in turn, have shown a disturbing partiality to Muslim leaders and positions.  It may well be that they share the jihadist ambition for the destruction of Christianity in the mid-east; heaven knows they certainly are trying to marginalize Christians in this country.  As long as the US bishops insist on prostituting themselves by accepting and even soliciting governmental grants, they will slavishly follow the lead of the Messiah Most Miserable.  We may safely assume that our borders will not be porous to those from the mid-east AND we may also assume that no federal grant money will be made available to Catholic Charities to accept mid-east refugees.

We must pray for our bishops, even as we boycott every "social justice" appeal for money that they put out.  At this time, their concept of "social justice" comes at the direction of the progressives in power.

$100 Million Mega-Mosque In Lanham MD

Thanks to Pewsitter, I received today word that a mega-mosque is in the works in Lanham MD, set to open October 2014.  If all goes as planned, it will be the largest mosque in the western hemisphere.  The firm Allen and Shariff did some engineering design for the thing and show that it will be located in the middle of a triangle bordered by Good Luck Road, 97th Avenue and Elvis Lane.

World Net Daily posted a piece going into some history behind muslims and their mosques.  It has been well-known that the construction of a mosque in a locality has signified to muslims triumph in that area.  That is a key reason why they were so eager to build a mosque near Ground Zero shortly after the 9-11 attacks.  They also point out that in the neighborhoods surrounding mosques, muslim "patrols" have often wandered about telling neighbors not to wear skirts, walk dogs, etc.  In other words, they attempt to establish a de-facto sharia environment.  If it happens in Lanham, will the residents put up with it?  We are talking about Prince Georges's County, MD - a bastion of liberalism and political correctness.

Maryland's political configuration is rather interesting.  The high-density areas such as Montgomery County, PG County and Baltimore City have for long been infested with progressivism/liberalism: blue areas, with the rest of the state being relatively red.  However, those areas contain the bulk of the voters (both living and dead, but that's another post) so they carry the state in elections.  The progressive poison is slopping over into Howard, Baltimore County and Charles County.

Perhaps the above shows reasons why both Montgomery and PG County tend to attract flotsam and jetsam.  Montgomery County has Leroy Carhart to its dubious credit.  To be certain, PG is scourged with its rogues' gallery of abortionists.  However, in attracting this mega-mosque, PG now will be inflicted with a pestilence of a different variety, especially if this mosque brings with it creeping sharia.

But this scourge is spreading north.  In researching this Lanham mosque, I became aware that one will be erected in Germantown.  This one will be quite a bit smaller than the Lanham mosque.  The one in Lanham is being promoted by the government of Turkey.  When was the last time you heard of a Christian church being built in Turkey?  Crickets?  This is the United States of America, where freedom of religion for all is respected.  It's quite telling, though, when a Muslim state builds a mega-mosque here while squelching the rights (and lives) of Christians within its own borders.

US Embassies Attacked And US - Apologizes??

Talk about kissing the hand that slaps you, but that is just what happened.  Our consulate in Benghazi was attacked and four US officials were murdered.  So what does the US Embassy in Cairo have to say?  Quote:  "The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others."

My understanding is that the jihadists were having quite the temper tantrum over some film that allegedly insulted Mohammed.  It's much like what we Catholics did when "The Last Temptation of Christ" was playing or when the "Piss Christ" garbage was publicly exhibited.  Yes, that last statement is factually untrue, but I put that in there to make plain the differences between the True Faith that civilizes versus bogus junk that turns its adherents into violent snarling barbarians.   It's quite likely that the film was merely an alibi, as they wanted to attack US territory on this anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Fat lot of good that apology did for the Cairo embassy.  It too was ransacked and overrun.  I submit that their grovelling and sniveling statement only encouraged the bullies.  Weakness tends to have that effect on bullies, as most kids learn in the school playground.

Speaking of kids, it's time to expel the brats from the White House this November.  If there's anything that the events of the past two days should have made crystal clear, it's that we need competent adults in the White House.

Radical Imam At St Rose of Lima Tomorrow

As I posted last week, a radical muslim imam is going to be delivering an address, at St Rose of Lima, on "Islam: A Religion of Peace or of Terrorism?"  If you haven't yet done so, please examine the links for the pertinent information about this man and his mosque.  Take special note of the laudatory comments he made regarding the Hamas operative at his mosque who was caught video-recording the supporting structures of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge - strange sort of hobby, wouldn't you say?  Take note that the Fort Hood shooter attended his mosque.

He also made the incredible statement that "you will see Islam move from being the second largest religion in America-that's where we are now- to being the first religion in America".  Did he suffer any repercussion?  Not at all!  In fact, on June 20th, a very naive parish and archdiocesan chancery are actually providing a forum and an audience so that he can lull good people into a rose-colored-glasses type of passivity regarding Islam.  That's quite unlike the violent rampaging that occurred in the name of jihad when Pastor Terry Jones stated his intention to burn a Qu'ran.

Speaking of Pastor Jones, he staged a protest at an Arab International Festival in Dearborn Michigan this past Friday.  Here's the local report, along with video.  Notice the reaction.  These "festival goers" aren't merely shouting at him.  They're actually shoving him, prompting the police to arrest at least some of them.  Of course there's the obligatory silent blaming of the "inflamatory language", but the reporters also state that they recognize some of the thugs as being too familiar, as though they may be "professional".

As I said in the previous post, the pastors of St Rose of Lima and the Archdiocese of Washington chancery should be ashamed of themselves for behaving as willing dupes.

Ann Barnhardt Tells It Like It Is!

Don't you wish our bishops had half of her courage?  She is a Catholic (note her correct use of the term "Church Militant") who is not going to be complicit in the politically-correct boot-licking in which Lindsey Graham is engaging.  Hear him, in this clip, say that "freedom of speech is a great idea, but.."   Click here if you can't see embedded video.

No, Senator!  Freedom of speech is more than a "great idea".  It's an integral part of the United States Constitution.  You do remember what that is, right?  Do you remember your oath of office to uphold the United States Constitution?   Try to understand that "uphold" and "subvert" are not synonyms!

Let me ask this question.  When is the last time you heard of Christians running amok when Bibles were burned?  When is the last time that Catholics went on looting and murdering sprees when the Eucharist was desecrated or the Blessed Mother's pictures were profaned?  I haven't heard, either.  So why is it that when the Qu'ran is burned, that we expect the jihadists to wet their pants and go on killing sprees?  Where are the so-called "moderate" Muslims on this?  Why aren't they condemning their more violent members?

Watch Ms. Barnhardt here.  Click here if you can't see embedded video.

Former Muslim Confirms From Koran That "Allah" Is Not A Synonym For God

Yoo hoo!   Cardinal McCarrick, please take note!  Allah is indeed a false idol, NOT to be confused with the One True God!

Also in dire need of such education is the current staff of the John Paul II Cultural Center for allowing their facilities to be used to host "interfaith" deception.  I note, though, that soon some Dominican Sisters will be assuming ownership.  Hopefully that sort of foolishness will not be repeated there.

I address this, too, to the staff of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, particularly after they allowed the Interfaith Concert Debacle to occur a few weeks ago.  By the way - did you ever purify and/or rededicate the Shrine after all that idolotrous blasphemy?

Please click here if you cannot see embedded video.

Common Sense From Across The Pond

Click here if you can't see embedded video.  To those of the Archdiocese of Washington who watch this blog (and don't deny it!), would you please suggest to Cardinal McCarrick that he watch this immediately - if he has the courage?  Thank you.

Yoo Hoo! Father Daly and Catholic Standard! Please Read - If You Dare!

This past Thursday I took issue with the breathtaking ignorance of Father Daly and the Catholic Standard regarding the Ground Zero mosque and Islam as a world view.  Here I present more evidence, more food for thought for Father Daly, Cardinal McCarrick, the Standard and the rest of the "golly-gee-whiz-can't-we-all-just-get-along" head-in-the-clouds crowd.  I hope they take it to heart, but won't be one bit surprised if they don't, seeing how they're beholden to their progressive puppet-masters with megabucks and political clout.  Anyway, here goes.

We see here how this "religion of peace" is overtaking Paris.  Note the arrogance of them as they literally take over the streets.  There does seem to be some resistance underway, and I hope they're successful.

Now Jihad Watch is raising more questions about the funding of this mosque - and Andrew Cuomo's stonewalling of an investigation into such, despite a majority of New Yorker's wishes for such investigation.  I'll now link to an article written by my colleague at the Orlando Truth giving some historical perspective about Islam - and a theory as to why the specific date of September 11 was chosen for the attacks.

The preceding is some "food for thought" - should the Standard et al dare to try a morsel!

More on the Ground Zero Mosque Mischief

I won't rehash what my colleague at Les Femmes has done, so I urge you to go here.  Because she has videos that some may not be able to see, I'll provide the two youtube urls here and here.
