The Holy Spirit Is...WHAT???

Yesterday at a meeting conducted by the Congregation for the Institutes of Consecrated Life, Pope Francis said that "the Holy Spirit is a disaster because He never tires of being creative."

My dear friends who insist on trying to defend the indefensible utterances of this Pope, don't try this time.  It truly would be both intellectually and spiritually dishonest of you to even engage on such logical gymnastics.  Think about it.  The Third Person of the Blessed Trinity is God.  The Vicar of Christ said that "God is a disaster".   Did he mean to say that?  I don't know and more importantly it doesn't matter what he meant.  The fact is that he said it.  Can you point to any other pontiff who let that kind of blasphemy come out of his mouth?

Later he extols the benefits of "discernment".  I'd agree that discernment is most beneficial.  He should try it sometime.

  1. To believe that a heretic can become a Pope is a heresy. Bergoglio never became a pope because he was already a heretic in Argentina where he had already betrayed God and the Church, just as a husband who does not swear to be faithful but plans to deceive his wife, his marriage is invalid.

    1. Actually read some history of the Church. There have been other popes that have been heretics. My understanding is Jesus didn't say that he would keep individual popes from being Heretics but that he would keep the church from the gates of hell. Meaning the church will prevail to the end of the world. May not look exactly as we know it now at the end of the world but it will still exist.

  2. Oh, my, how much longer will we have to be subject to this deplorable man, Poop Francis? Where are all the Cowardinals?

  3. The man is pope who the cardinals say is pope and they say Bergoglio is pope, sadly. I had to almost laugh (or cry) at the latest scandalous thing from the mouth of this pope. What happened to the 'god of surprises' who is always changing things and so forth? How long, O Lord? It is a time of sifting for sure. But it saddens my heart for the loss of souls, even among the clergy who should know better but are fallen because even in hell they retain the marks of their priesthood and that eternity will be unimaginably awful.

    1. What you say is not true. A man is not pope based on whether or not he cardinals say so. There are norms which oblige concerning papal elections, and those norms have been deliberately and definitively violated in the case of Jorge Bergoglio. Acceptance of an invalidly elected pope after the fact by the hierarchy, clergy, laity, or all of the above doesn't make him pope, either. As per JPII.

  4. It's almost as if he does not enjoy the supernatural negative protection promised to a true pontiff, eh? Promised by God Himself: "And the Lord said: Simon, Simon, behold Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and thou, being once converted, confirm thy brethren."
    Luke 22: 31-32
