Close Papal Confidante Flaunts His Perversion In His Cathedral - Part Of The Deconstruction Of Tradition

Last August Pope Francis appointed Archbishop Paglia as head of the Pontifical Pope John Paul II Institute On Marriage And Family.  He's also head of the Pontifical Academy For Life (and perhaps its only member).  It was under his direction that a particularly lurid sex education program was foisted on young people attending the World Youth Day this past summer.  At the World Meeting For Families in Philadephia last year, he mandated that practicing gays would have the same status as faithful Catholics in attendance.  I point out that the latter two incidents occurred before Paglia's appointment to the Institute On Marriage And Family.

One other very troubling event occurred before that as well.  News has arisen that in 2007, Paglia commissioned a piece of pornographic art to be painted in his cathedral church.  It is explicitly homoerotic.  It shows Jesus pulling into heaven via fishnets dozens of people.  In the nets, the people are engaged in various erotic acts.  One of those people bears the face of Paglia himself while semi-nude and embracing another scantily-clad man.  This LifeSiteNews report has more details and pictures.  All this was done on instruction from Paglia himself.  The depiction of Paglia in such a pose leads one to deduce that Paglia himself might be a practicing homosexual.  Obviously the painting within a Catholic church is grossly blasphemous.  As it was done in 2007, no one can doubt that the Pope knew of this.  Because the pope appointed Paglia to his high positions, we can only conclude that the appointments were done not so much in spite of Paglia's flagrant perversion but because of it.  There is an attempt afoot in the Vatican - led by the pope, let's admit that - to deconstruct the Sacred Tradition of Holy Mother Church in favor of some "new world order".

This and so much more points to the horrid place to which Pope Francis is steering the Church.  For the benefit of my friends who insist on remaining in denial regarding this harmful papacy, I now link to a piece written by Jeffrey Mirus of Catholic Culture.  He explains well the role that the Holy Spirit assumes in the process of selecting a pope.  He also points out why it is erroneous to presume that the Holy Spirit directly chooses each pontiff.  As you read the list of poor pontiffs of the past, bear in mind that there is no reason to presume that the same couldn't be happening right now.

I post now a video released by Michael Matt of the Remnant.  Listen closely.  He first elaborates on the scandal of Paul Ehrlich being allowed to speak at a Vatican conference.  At the 4:48 mark he says "If you're not seeing what's really going on here, I'm sorry, but it's just a case of you not wanting to see.."  At the 10:00 mark Matt said he and others sent an open letter to President Trump to investigate possible Democrat influence in the ouster of Pope Benedict XVI and election of Pope Francis.  LifeSiteNews today released an interview with Archbishop Luigi Negri who is close with the Pope Emeritus.  He too states that Benedict resigned "under tremendous pressure".  A few weeks ago I hypothesized that Pope Francis is the de facto designated mouthpiece for worldwide progressivism.  Here's the Message from Modesto that Matt mentioned.   All this is part and parcel of the mangling of the Church into some progressive new world order idol.  Did I say "mangling"?  A thousand pardons, please!  I meant to say "maturing" - you know, like the "maturing" we were supposed to do after the Extraordinary Synod!

Now listen at the 21:00 mark when Matt speaks of obedience to the pope and moral limitations on so doing.  He correctly states that "obedience is subordinate to the Faith".  Starting at 21:57, he says, "when a superior, even a pope, commands that we do something wrong including the instruction to believe something false and contrary to our religion and beliefs, what we were taught as Catholics, the Catholic response is to resist him".  Now going back to that Modesto debacle, McElroy and others pledged to "disrupt" Trump's immigration policies.  We now have major disruption in our Church.  It's time we start considering how we faithful Catholics will - as it were - disrupt the disruption.

We are approaching the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima.  She promised the children that "in the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph".  Of course that is true but that does not excuse us from taking on the task of Church Militant for if we don't, more souls will go to hell.

Paglia's Institute To Push Amoralis Lamentia And Seamless Garbage

Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia (yes, this Paglia) has praised the pope's mutilation of the John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family, saying that its new focus on Amoralis Lamentia is a "revamping of pro-life efforts".  Well, at least he's being honest.  Oh by the way, Paglia is the chancellor of the new JP II Pontifical Theological Institute for Marriage and Family Sciences.

But the honesty did not continue.  He let loose with this whopper: "The real revolution there happened under John Paul II, not Francis, which hasn’t really yet been understood. You have to remember that before Familiaris Consortio, it wasn’t that the divorced and remarried just couldn’t get Communion, it was they were practically excommunicated and expelled."  That's simply not true.  The divorced and remarried, although engaged in the mortal sin of adultery, were not excommunicated and/or expelled.  To assert that they were is simply a lie.

He also asserted that he won't "let anyone be more pro-life than me".  Oh, dear!  That will only allow those who are at best tepid on matters of intrinsic evils against life to join his strange little organization.

He indicates that this newly-bastardized organization will dwell on immigration, death penalty, etc etc.  Doesn't that sound like "seamless garment" garbage to you?  It does to me!  Now wait a minute!  From where else have we heard that the pro-life movement must assume "seamless garment" trappings?  Yes!  It has reared its ugly head in the U.S.!  See here and here.  How "coincidental" that we'd be hearing about "revamping the pro-life movement" from these two seemingly disparate sources.  Maybe it is a coincidence - and then again, maybe not!  I'd put nothing past these progressives.

PS: I used the phrase "seamless garment garbage" in the last paragraph.  Moving forward, I believe I'll shorten it to "seamless garbage".

Might This Be The REAL Reason Why Cardinal Pell Was Thrown Under The Bus?

Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, while President of the Pontifical Council for the Family, diverted hundreds of thousands of euros away from its intended charitable purposes to real estate renovations.  One of those renovation projects was the refurbishing of his apartments in Rome.  This misappropriation was discovered by Cardinal Pell in his capacity of Secretariat for the Economy in 2014.  In 2015 attempts were made in earnest to have Cardinal Pell imprisoned on the basis of decades-old allegations of sexual abuse.  My!  Isn't the timing of these legal shenanigans such a coincidence?  Nothing to see here!  Move along!

Side note: If Paglia had spent some of that money to have this eyesore removed from his titular cathedral, perhaps that might have been an acceptable expenditure.  But I digress.

Paglia currently heads the much-disgraced Pontifical Academy for Life.  Recently one of the academy's moral theologians, Father Maurizio Chiodi, claimed that Humanae Vitae is not part of the Church's magisterium and thus its contents were basically fair game for change.  Among his excuses for this attempt to change centuries-old teachings is the attempt to change other centuries-old teachings of the church, namely the teachings regarding the death penalty.

Chiodi validated a point that I and others made regarding the pope's attempt to mutilate the Church's teaching on the death penalty.  Over four years ago I blogged that the death penalty attempt was an attempt to buy into the erroneous notion that Church teaching can be changed.  If it could be changed for the death penalty, why not contraception?  It's a classic case of calling good (death penalty) evil and calling evil (contraception) good.

Regrettably, their ploy seems to be working.  We can fault not only Francis and Paglia for that, but also ourselves for not educating ourselves regarding authentic Church teaching.

President Of Pontifical Academy For Life Blasphemes By Justifying Murder

Most of us veterans of the pro-life movement, particularly those of us who have gone "toe-to-toe" with deathscorts and other proabortion people will recognize a familiar ring to this phrase: "Personally I would not practice assisted suicide, but I understand that legal mediation can constitute the greatest common good that is concretely possible in the conditions in which we find ourselves."

Yes, it is another version of "personally I oppose abortion, but won't stand in the way of others to do so and won't judge their situations".  Maryland's former US representative Connie Morella used to chirp that pabulum regularly as she voted for every pro-abortion measure that came her way, and even co-sponsored (along with Chuck Schumer) the FACE act.

This nonsense was recently uttered by Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia.  Recall several years ago, he commissioned a gay artist to paint a blasphemous mural in his cathedral church in the Diocese of Terni-Narni-Amelia.  All the people in the picture, including Our Lord Himself, are portrayed as gays, in homo-erotic poses.  One of the people portrayed is an unmistakable depiction of Paglia himself, complete with zucchetto.

Early on in his papacy, Francis revamped the Pontifical Academy for Life by ejecting all the solidly pro-life membership of that body and replacing them with those of lesser qualifications.  Some of them have shown themselves to be pro-abortion.  This academy is chaired by Paglia.

Here is the full text, translated into English by Google.  There is quite a bit of error here to unpack.  Right in the first paragraph is a whopper: "There is a mutual learning relationship between believers and non-believers."  When it comes to matters of faith and morals, nothing could be further from the truth.  The Church possesses the fullness of truth through Divine Revelation.  To imply that there is some kind of equality between the revelations from God Himself versus what mere man can dredge up is to blaspheme against Divine Revelation.  Mind you, this is a bishop uttering this garbage.

He then says, "due to the maturation (?) of reflection on rights, the pope has modified the Catechism".  I've no doubt that Paglia alludes to Francis' mangling of the catechism with respect to capital punishment.  I stated years ago that the twisting of that teaching would lead to other matters being similarly mangled, and I am proven correct on that score.

Then he goes on to say, "it cannot be excluded that in our society a legal mediation is feasible which allows assisted suicide in the conditions specified by the Constitutional Court's judgment 242/2019".  Let's stop right there and unpack this.  It is never "feasible" to violate God's Fifth Commandment and commit murder.  No "constitutional court's judgment" trumps the Fifth Commandment nor Church law.  The term "assisted suicide" is just a cutesy little euphemism for murder.  The chair of the Pontifical Academy for Life, an archbishop, just committed gross blasphemy by saying murder is feasible.

This Pontifical Academy for Life, once a respected body, has been rendered into an abysmal joke and a tool of Satan.  The same can be said for much of the establishment in Vatican City and many of the chanceries throughout the world.

Vatican Pontificates On Covid

The recently bastardized Pontifical Academy for Life (hereinafter referred to as Paglia's Peons) has released a 4,000-word tome entitled, well, the title is a mouthful in and of itself.  One little tidbit about the title is that part of it is "untimely meditations".  It's untimely, alright.  Here is the link to it as it appears on the Vatican website.

Notice that it is a pdf.  That means word searches can be done on it.  Others such as Church Militant notice that some key words are missing: Jesus, God, church, sacraments.  Other words missing include sin, repent, eternity, heaven.  The word "hell" is used only to describe refugee camps.

This is ostensibly a Catholic document, posted on the Vatican website.  In all those 4000+ words, they couldn't mention Jesus Christ  just once?  For crying out loud - we are His Church!

What words do we find?  Well, there's earth, poverty, solidarity, global, social - words that one might expect to find in a social justice tome.  I'm surprised that words such as accompany and surprise didn't make it in there.

So what is really to blame for Covid, according to Paglia's Peons?  According to this display of verbosity, the causes are myriad:
  • deforestation
  • exagerated demand for meat by first world countries
  • financial greed
The common theme is this, according to Paglia's Peons.  We didn't do sufficient obeisance to Laudato Si, thus we are reaping the consequences.  They certainly won't address the role that China played in this pandemic, be that role deliberate or inadvertent.  Covid originated there; recall that it was originally called the Wuhan virus.  Large Eurpoean infestations first arose in areas heavily populated by Chinese.  But of course it wouldn't be appropriate for Paglia's Peons to mention that inconvenient little truth, seeing how the Vatican is suspected of being on the payroll of the Chicoms, to the tune of billions of dollars.

However, is it possible that Covid was meant by God to get our attention so that we would worship and obey Him as He has taught for centuries?  Instead, the bishops for the most part shamed their sainted predecessors and cowarded behind their shuttered doors, depriving their flocks of salvation-giving Sacraments.

Also today we received word that the US hierarchy is having a snit-fit because the President will not count illegal aliens in the US Census.  I can see where that might put a krinkle in their attempts to get government funding for settling illegals in this country.  But this is what the bishops are atwitter over as they disregard the Faithful who cannot get to Confession or receive Last Rites in hospitals.

Again, we see the USCCB bunch waxing indignant over the President actually acting according to the Constitution, but when it comes to state and local tin-horn tyrants closing their church doors, they are silent.  What's more, many of them positively approve of their flocks being deprived of the avenues for much-needed sanctifying grace.

Some Wake Up, Some Shut Their Eyes And Brains

Last year, among other criminal activities uncovered by wikileaks, it was discovered that several progressive leaders sought (and ultimately obtained) the removal of Pope Benedict XVI from the papacy.  Those leaders - actually, perpetrators is the more accurate term - are George Soros, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton.  A group of Catholic leaders - in an open letter to President Trump - asked him for a formal investigation into the alleged tampering of federal officials in the internal affairs of the Roman Catholic Church.

This is no surprise.  It merely confirms what many faithful Catholics instinctively sensed all along: that Pope Benedict XVI was driven out so that Pope Francis, obviously sympathetic to progressive causes and not so much for Sacred Tradition, could be installed to do the bidding of the Soros cabal.

Some faithful Catholics seemed incapable of conceiving that: 1) the Holy Spirit may not have positively selected Cardinal Bergoglio to assume the papacy and/or 2) his doings are not automatically of divine inspiration.  Over the years, more and more of these folks have acknowledged the evidence that constantly slaps us all in our faces.  One such individual is Father Dwight Longenecker.  In his blog post entitled "Pope Francis Told Me", he indicates how the pope is deliberately insinuating his mischief into the minds of unwary Catholics.  He insinuates a falsehood and never quite denies it.  We saw it in the "sinners don't go to hell" fiasco.  Father points out that Jesuits have been doing that all along - including Father James Martin.  The most spectacular example was the "adulterers can receive Holy Communion" heresy embedded in Amoralis Lamentia.  We can bet our bottom dollars there will be another sly whopper in the encyclical that will be released after this "youth synod".  Notice I said "released" for I strongly suspect it is already largely written; but I digress!

Another way of slyly insinuating heretical poison is to look the other way while key personnel are openly dissenting from Tradition and/or living grossly immoral lives.  Cardinal Schonborn, a close advisor to Pope Francis, said in a recent interview that ordination of women as deacons, priests and bishops can be decided "by a council".   No they can't.  Pope John Paul II definitively stated in Ordinato Sacerdotalis that the question was not up for debate and that it was settled teaching that the Sacrament of Holy Orders can only be conferred on men.  Schonborn stands in direct disobedience to Sacred Tradition.

At about the same time, Archbishop Paglia claimed that it's "dangerous" to speak of the family as a "domestic church" even though that language is found in the Catechism and the Vatican II documents.  He is the president of the Pontifical Academy for Life - or the parody of the former Academy.  Paglia dismissed most of its faithful members and has now rendered it an abysmal joke.  Moreover, he's the one who not only plastered homoerotic pornographic "art" in his cathedral, but had himself painted into the thing as clinging to another scantily clad man.  These last two scandals happened a while ago, and still Paglia retains his influential role in the Vatican.  Personnel is policy.

So yes, these two examples illustrate what Father Longenecker wrote a few days ago.  Sadly, though, others still persist on denying the evidence before their faces, lambasting those of us who acknowledge the truth as "bashing the pope".  I see this most often on facebook and their behavior is downright weird.  When we post news of some latest outrage perpetrated by the Vatican with the pope's permission, they go on a tirade about how "hateful" we are.  Then they post on their own walls, again and again, how they will "follow the pope".  One could ask, "follow him where".  Their very repetition makes me believe that they are simply trying to drown out the truth that they find increasingly difficult to deny.  Let's keep them in prayer.

Culture Of Death In The Vatican

Recently, Paul Ehrlich, long-time mouthpiece for "population control" (in other words, sterilization, contraception and abortion) was invited by two Papal Academies to speak at a "Biological Extinction" conference last week.  Some might remember him authoring "The Population Bomb".  It helped galvanize the population control fanatics, despite the fact that the only things that are bombing are the ridiculous predictions put forth in that book.  In some ways that Vatican conference might have been right up his ally, for he seems to have made it his life's mission to make mankind "biologically extinct".

LifeSiteNews had a piece about him, exposing why the only place he should have gone in the Vatican is the nearest confessional - or baptism font if not Catholic.  Here's an interesting quote from him: "If you can’t take care of the [poor] people in your own society, when you live in a rich society, and so on, it tells us we really need very fundamental changes in our attitudes, our ethics, our morals, how we run the world."  He also said that there was "agreement" that a "driver" of extinction is "human overpopulation".  That is to say "there are too few people because there are too many people".  Gotta love the logic!  Keep these statements on a "back-burner in your brain as we take a look at another progressive spewing his poison in the Vatican.

I refer now to Archbishop Paglia.  He is not only the head of the Pontifical Academy for Life, but he is the one who had a picture of himself painted on his cathedral wall with him depicted as engaging in homosexual relations - that one!  A living-will bill is before the Italian parliament.  Of this bill, Paglia opines that it should stop "excessive" treatment for the terminally ill.  When he states, "While the will of the patient on access or not to therapies must be respected, a will guaranteed by Constitutional dictates," he is flat out lobbying for the establishment of death panels.

Here's another telling quote.  As you read this, bear that Ehrlich quote in mind: "Furthermore, we must combat on the one hand all forms of excessive treatment and on the other give ample space to palliative treatment so as not to let patients suffer.  It is equally urgent to help sick people live for as long as is decently possible,"  Decently possible!  Who will determine what's "decent"?  Why, the death panel, of course!

There is definitely a common undercurrent in the thinking behind those two statements.  That is, "if we are to care for the majority of people, we must be willing to expend the unborn/dying/etc.  It will require a fundamental change in our morals but that must be done"  So apparently one of the fundamental changes in our morals should be the abolition of the Fifth Commandment, according to both Ehrlich and Paglia and most likely others in the Vatican; else these two wouldn't enjoy the bully pulpits that they now have.  Does that include Pope Francis himself?

Sacred Art And Dubious Standards

Today there came the news that the pope ordered a church in Rome to fix a restored fresco of an angel.  Apparently, in the eyes of some, the angel bears too much of a resemblance to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia, Meloni, who happens to be an ally of President Trump.

Now what will the pope do about the cathedral church of Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia?  On its wall is a very prominent mosaic featuring all kinds of people in various homoerotic poses.  One of those people is unmistakably Paglia himself in an embrace with another gay pervert. I have heard no announcement of the pope ordering Paglia to remove that blasphemy.

This isn't a matter of careless double-standards here.  We are clearly getting a picture of just what the denizens of the Vatican value and prioritize, and they don't involve Our Lord nor the souls placed in their care.

At The Vatican, Personnel Is Poison

On August 16th it was revealed that Pope Francis has appointed Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia to head both the Pontifical Council for Life and the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family.  He already heads the Pontifical Council for the Family.  Please note that it was the latter council that published a "sex education" program during World Youth Day that can accurately be described as pornographic and disrespectful of the authority of parents.  It was also Paglia who stated that during last year's World Family Meeting in Philadelphia last year, gays would enjoy the same status as other attendants, in implementation of the proceeds from the sin-nods at that time.  See here and here for more details.  Given the job he's done so far, what could possibly go right with this new dual appointment?

The 1P5 piece mentions that the former head of the Pontifical Council for the Family, Cardinal Ennio Antonelli, was excluded from the two sin-nods although he is a staunch defender of the Church's teachings in these matters.  Hmm..  Perhaps that preceding sentence might be a tad more accurate if we scratch the "although" and instead substitute "because".  I was aware that no one representing the JPII Institute was present for either sin-nod, perhaps for the same reason.  There is also some expectation that Professor Josef Seifert will be ejected from the Council for Life, both for his defense of the Faith and for being a vocal critic of Amoris Laetitia.

A Catholic News Service piece that appears in Catholic Register stated that the Pope made these changes to "focus more clearly on the horizon of mercy" for "even in theological study, a pastoral perspective and attention to the wounds of humanity should never be lacking".  Here we see the false dichotomy between truth and mercy being ever so slyly interjected here.  Without the sharpest focus on God's truth, there is no real mercy.  What we will see is an allowance of the "anything goes" attitude that Paglia already displayed at the Philadelphia meeting.  No one can seriously doubt that the pope is systematically establishing godless progressivism inside the Vatican.

Now for the second Kasperite dissident bishop..

Bishop Kevin Farrell of the Archdiocese of Dallas will be taking the reins of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life.  He too has proven himself an enemy of Church moral teaching.  Recently he appointed as pastor of one of his churches a priest who was associated with "St. Sebastian's Angels", a network of flaming-gay priests.  Vox Cantoris exposed that, plus Farrell's hissy-fit against Catholic bloggers (he'd do Rosica proud!).  A Blog For Dallas Area Catholics revealed that Farrell is giving support to a dissident "gay ministry" in area parishes.  The fact that this group calls itself "Always Our Children" is its own red flag.  This bunch has links to both New Ways Ministry and Dignity groups.  Again, one wonders what could possibly go right with such an assignment.  But having things "go right" is obviously not the intent.

Cardinal Burke has called for a 54-day Rosary novena for the intention of bringing our nation back to sanity.  It couldn't hurt to include Holy Mother Church in that prayer intention as well.  We clearly need it.

Usual Gang Of Suspects To Attend Amazon Sin-Nod

Do any of these names sound familiar?
  • Ki-Moon Ban
  • Jeffrey Sachs
  • Hans Schellnhuber
They should.  Over the past few years, I and others have written about these progressive, pro-population-control individuals who have all been invited to various Vatican-sponsored conferences.  They gave presentations and lent their pernicious influence to the various synodal documents, including Laudato Si and Amoris Laetitia.  Put any one of their names in this blog's search box (top left with the magnifying glass) to get more background information.  They will be attending next month's Amazon Sin-nod, per the Vatican list of attendees.

Edward Pentin has also pointed out the high German representation at this gabfest.  Cardinal Reinhard Marx was personally appointed by the pope to attend.  Other dissident prelates include Cardinal Maradiaga, Cardinal Schonborn and Archbishop Paglia.  Put those names in the search box for some eye-fulls; space and time do not permit me to elaborate on the unfitness of each and every one of them to guide the Church on anything.

The hoax known as "climate change" will be bandied about ad nauseum as though it were settled science.  Even if it were, that subject matter falls outside the competence of clergy for solemn pronouncements.

HOWEVER, if they insist, here's some thoughtful input for them to consider.

Four Awful Progressive Bishops And Those Resisting Them

Last August Pope Francis appointed Archbishop Paglia to head the Pontifical Council on Marriage and Family.  In this post I listed his credentials that must have favorably impressed this pontiff.  In a saner time, these "credentials" would have caused him to be immediately defrocked.  However, I've no doubt that he was seen as someone who would work with alacrity to undermine the teachings of Jesus Christ Himself with regards to marriage, life, sexuality.  Now it appears that he is touting his pornographic sacrilege of his cathedral as an "evangelizing tool".  Well, it's a tool for something, alright, but not for the Gospel of Jesus Christ as taught by His Church.  Whom does he think he's fooling?

Last week I blogged about Bishop John Gaydos of the Diocese of Jefferson City, MO.  He is directing his schools to admit children from situations where the adults are perverts or children who think they are "transgender" withouth any direction to amend their lives to be in conformity with Church teaching.  Happily it seems that some laity, with the help of one sane pastor, are resisting.  Church Militant TV conversed at length with one parishioner about the matter.  She is pleased that her pastor is not going along with this demented program devised by Gaydos.

We pray that this Jefferson City pastor does not suffer at the hands of faithless progressives, as this pastor is within the Diocese of Charlotte NC.  He is Father Christopher Riehl of St. John the Evangelist parish.  A faithful priest, he was appointed to head this parish that had been ravaged by his progressive predecessor.  Father Riehl instituted some reforms, causing some progressives to knot their knickers.  They went whining and pouting to Bishop Jugis and now Father Riehl is resigning.  The article doesn't come out and say that Jugis threw his priest under a bus, but given the way he betrayed Sister Jane Dominic Laurel three years ago, it's a sure bet that is precisely what happened.  Either Jugis is using linguine for a spinal column or he himself is a thinly-disguised liberal.

This bishop from England confirms the worst fears that many of us have regarding unbridled ecumenism - that is, when ecumenism doesn't have as its overriding goal the conversion of non-Catholics (including Protestants) to the One True Faith.  He is Bishop Ralph Heskett of the Diocese of Hallam.  He has released "guidelines" that suggest that in the name of "ecumenism" that Catholics perform acts of worship to pagan idols.  In other words, he is suggesting that his flock commit mortal sins against the First Commandment.  This is "go along to get along" that will, unless corrected, literally send souls to hell.

I write this not only to alert us to very real perils posed to us by some bishops, but also to advise that they are not proceeding without opposition, such as is happening in Jefferson City and Charlotte.  We must pray and support our fellow faithful Catholics and be prepared to put forth resistance ourselves.

Putting Catholic Pro-Lifers On A Seamless Garbage Leash

We've all seen some very disturbing things these past few weeks, in relation to the pro-life movement.
  • The USCCB announced that Cardinal Cupich is running to head the Pro-Life Office of the USCCB.  Archbishop Naumann of Kansas City, KS is also running.  Naumann has taken some very strong stands for life as opposed to Cupich.  The latter, while Bishop of Spokane, forbade his priests and seminarians to participate in the 40 Days For Life campaign.  Moreover, he is clearly a "seamless garbage" devotee.  Cupich is a papal favorite.  If he wins that election, the USCCB Pro-Life office will be worthless, at best.
  • Archbishop Paglia announced that his newly-bastardized Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family will "revamp its pro-life efforts" to elevate "seamless garbage" crap to the level of importance due to abortion and other intrinsic evils.
  • "Seamless garbage" groups such as Rehumanize International and "New Pro-Life Movement" are aggressively pushing the same stuff, diluting the true pro-life message and giving legitimacy to those promoting mortal sins against life and family.
All of these indicate to me that there is a renewed, coordinated campaign - orchestrated from on high - to bring Catholics in the pro-life movement under the thumbs of the progressives in Church hierarchy.  I say "renewed" because I believe there has always been an effort to "bring us to heel" as it were.  How many times have parish pro-life groups attempted to proclaim to their parishes the solemn obligation to defend life, only to be muzzled?  We in the parishes have perceived little (if any) real leadership from the archdiocesan pro-life office.  I don't know what they do, outside of the Mass and "youth rally" before the March for Life.  They never joined in any of the efforts against Carhart in Germantown if pictures of abortion victims were displayed.

Decades ago, I learned that if I was to work effectively in the movement, I had to do so outside the parish structure and under no auspices of any archdiocesan organization.  At the time, I was merely trying to circumvent archdiocesan inertia.  Now we need to work around something far more insidious.

September's Poop Video - A Travesty Against God's Justice

H/T Canon 212

In September's Poop Video, Francis calls upon all Catholics to "pray for abolition of the death penalty".  Here it is now.  Below that I will explain why I believe this is supremely wrong and spiritually poisonous.

So much error.  So little time.  But I'll do my level best to unpack this crap.

I've written much about Francis' dalliance with heresy in calling for the abolition of the death penalty.  I need not rehash those writings in this post.  If the reader would like to dismiss my writings as simply the opinion of some "rigid rad-trad", go right ahead.  Will you say the same of previous popes, some of them canonized and beatified?  How about two prominent Doctors of the Church: Augustine and Aquinas?

I believe this poop video schlock isn't just about the death penalty, per se.  In fact, Francis' animus towards the death penalty is simply a trial balloon, to see how much he can get away with completely twisting Church teaching to be just the opposite of what it's always been.  The death penalty is a relatively easy topic for him to use, since many Catholics are ambivalent towards capital punishment.  Their own feelings towards the matter obscures their perception of the larger picture of the totality of Church teaching.  If Francis can work his wiles with the death penalty, it would be so much easier to attack other areas of Church teaching.

And those attacks are starting.  Last month the Pontifical Academy for Life, led by homophile Archbishop Paglia, released a document called "Theological Ethics of Life: Scripture, Tradition, and Practical Challenges".  This tome calls into question the Church's teachings on contraception.  The question is, what will Francis do with this?  It appears that many of the PAL were not aware of this document.  So only a few concocted this thing in a rather secretive manner.

So this poop video appears to be an attempt to condition Catholics to passively accept more attacks on Church teaching, but maybe it's worse than that.

Not only is Francis announcing his attempt to mutilate the Teachings of the Church regarding the death penalty, that is, to commit heresy, but he is trying to con Catholics into formal cooperation with his sinful intentions.  For many Catholics who are ignorant of the tenets of their Faith, their personal culpability may be mitigated somewhat, but I doubt that it is fully erased for the heresy does exist and they would be giving their assent to it.

We now know there are proceedings underway to change the Church's teachings regarding the sinfulness of contraception.  If Francis succeeds into duping Catholics to go along with disregard for Church teaching regarding the death penalty, it's all the more easier to convince these same Catholics that "Church teaching can change" regarding contraception.  Of course we know from our 50+ years of history that the status of abortion will soon follow that of contraception.  Recall that last week, Francis confirmed and renewed Father James Martin's appointment as advisor for Vatican communications.  Recall also that after the Dobbs ruling, Martin released a tweet in which he said, "a one-minute-old zygote is not the same as a nine-month-old baby about to be born".  Yes, he did have the nerve to say that.  But maybe that's because he knows his higher-ups are of the same mind-set as he.

I certainly cannot join in prayer for that "intention".  Truth be told, I stopped praying "for the pope's intentions during my morning offerings.  Instead, I pray for his conversion to the One True Faith.

Skullduggery In The College Of Cardinals - Sarah Sidelined, Three New Progressives In

Cardinal Robert Sarah is a faithful prelate who did much to oppose the wreckage of the Magisterium that was the purpose of the two sin-nods on the family.  This blog and others have been shining the light on theses sin-nods and their resultant mess that is named Amoris Laetitia.  I have renamed it Amoralis Lamentia.

It seems that His Eminence is beginning to share some of the fate of Cardinal Burke, another faithful prelate.  Cardinal Sarah is currently Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments.  He had been scheduled to open the academic year for the John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and the Family on October 27 in Rome, but the pope basically expelled him from that role, saying he'd do it himself.  This comes after the pope apppointed two progressive prelates to head that institute.  That institute had also opposed the progressive juggernaut at the two sin-nods.

In August, I wrote about one of those progressive prelates, Archbishop Paglia.  His appointment is solid evidence that the pope does indeed intend - as stated in Amoralis Lamentia - to allow divorced Catholics who are living in adultery to commit the mortal sin of sacrilege by receiving Holy Communion without the requisite repentance from mortal sin.  In that post, I wrote about another progressive prelate who has done damage to the faith - Bishop Farrell.  I will be addressing him in the next paragraph.

The pope just announced that he named 17 new cardinals, to be elevated on November 19th.  Three of them are US prelates and one of them is Bishop Farrell.  Another is - Archbishop Blaise Cupich of Chicago.  Yes, this Cupich!  As you can see, he has occasioned a whole series of blog posts with his dissidence and insults to the Faith.  Read that anthology and consider the progression of events.

The third US prelate is Archbishop Joseph Tobin of Indianapolis.  In January 2015, we learned that a Knight of Columbus council in his diocese rented their hall to lesbians so they could celebrate their sinful relationship.  We contacted him to have this debacle stopped; we heard crickets from him.  He is not to be confused with Bishop Thomas Tobin of Providence RI, who is a faithful prelate.

I just touched upon the three US cardinal-designates.  I'd be willing to bet that the fourteen from other countries are just as problematic.

There can be no doubt that the pope is deliberately stacking the College of Cardinals with progressive cronies while marginalizing truly faithful Princes of the Church.

Amoris Laetitia Paves Way For Immoral Sex Ed At World Youth Day

I've written a bit about the document that I'll call Amoralis Lamentia in the past and I'll link to those posts now for some context.  A few weeks ago there was some buzz on the blogosphere about a protest addressed to the pope regarding the errors in AL.  Because the authors/signers were anonymous at the time and the content unknown, I did not think it prudent to jump on the bandwagon.  I simply had no idea what it entailed.

Now more is known, and One Peter Five has it, along with a link to the full document.  The document calls AL "a grave danger to Catholic faith and morals".  No truer words were spoken.  Both the document and cover letter are pdf files; they can be saved to your own machines.  I suggest you do so.  I suggest you read it very carefully, alongside the English translation of Amoralis Lamentia.  Pay close attention to the censures.  Understand that Pope Francis claims that AL is "sound doctrine".  Cardinal Schonborn takes the lunacy even further by stating that previous Catholic teaching must be read in light of Amoris Laetitia.  My!  Doesn't he have it backwards! It is AL that must conform to the Sacred Tradition of the Church, not vice versa.  I suspect the protest was written before Schonborn plopped this stinker, else it might have been listed in the censures.

In my first anthology of posts there is stated a theory that the synods were rigged to pave the way for this thing, and even the ouster of Pope Benedict XVI was done with this in mind.  The protest states that Amoralis Lamentia will pose a danger to Catholic morals.  This week, during World Youth Day, the young people attending that thing will have foisted upon them a most immoral sex education program, promulgated by Pontifical Council for the Family.  The president of that council is Msgr Paglia.  At the World Family Meeting in Philadelphia last year, he stated that gays would have the same status as others - to implement the Instrumentum Laboris on the Synod, a precursor to Amoralis Lamentia.

LifeSiteNews has more detail on this program.  While the program is held out as Church teaching, it does not touch on what constitutes sins against chastity.  The importance of parents is entirely neglected.  The language and videos used therein can be considered pornographic.  And of course it is being promulgated to implement Amoralis Lamentia.  As LSN points out, the very existence of this program runs counter to many papal teachings of the past.  But then again, we see how Schonborn sought to undermine Church tradtition by making it subordinate to Amoralis Lamentia.

I'd urge parents of young people who are attending this World Youth Day to be vigilant.  Ask questions.  Don't be passive in the face of this intrusion into your sphere of authority.  Be informed and be parents.  I'd make the same recommendation of those who are chaperoning groups attending this thing.  Be prepared to offer authentic Church teaching on this and other matters.

How Several Strains Of Progressivism Gained Ground Over This Past Century

As noted in a previous post, I'm currently reading Taylor Marshall's excellent book, "Infiltration".  In it he explores the history of the corruption of the Church hierarchy.  In reference to that corruption, we are now staring at its horrible consequences as they unfold before our very eyes.  Only those who stubbornly and yes, sinfully, persist in wearing rose-colored glasses will pretend to be ignorant of the sickness and impotence of today's parishes (with some exceptions).

Many people believe that the trouble started with the Vatican II council.  That is only when the disasters started to manifest themselves.  In reality, they have been almost 200 years in the making.  Recall that Pope St Pius X issued many encyclicals against modernism and he died over 100 years ago.  Again, I refer you to Marshall's book and to the source materials therein.  You can also browse the writings of the popes; you'll see the link on the right side bar of this blog.

Other ominous movements were afoot during that period, running parallel with the attempts to infiltrate the Church.  All of these bear the paw prints of freemasonry.  Within this anthology of posts I link to a movie called Maafa 21, exploring the eugenics movement as it rose in the United States following the Civil War.  You'll see therein how many of the eugenicists were involved in the Ku Klux Klan and the American Birth Control League.  The latter became known as Planned Parenthood.  In fact, Margaret Sanger, the foundress of Planned Parenthood, gave an address to at least one meeting of a women's auxiliary KKK group and corresponded with Nazi "doctors" prior to the outbreak of World War II.  Those doctors mastermined the mass murders of Jews and other "undesirables".  It is Sanger herself who referred to the poor as "human weeds".  Now it is important to ponder the term "Planned Parenthood".  Doesn't that sound like they simply want couples to plan when they have children?  Well, that's the current myth, but Sanger herself was up front about her intents.  If it were up to her, parents wouldn't do the planning, for by her sick measures, they might not be "fit" to be parents.  She must have realized that sort of totalitarianism wouldn't fly with the Americans of that era, so contraception became her answer.  I'd urge you to watch the Maafa 21 film.

I will now post a movie done by Ben Stein called "Expelled".  It details how atheistic Darwinism conquered academia and how it's stifled any differing scientific opinions about intelligent design.  My post will continue after the video.

All those who hold to Darwinism to the point of quashing other opinion whine and moan about how the intelligent design theory will empower religious people.  Quite frankly, their misgivings, from their warped perspectives, are rather logical.  Intelligent design implies a Supreme Intelligence, does it not?  Of course that means that mankind is not the supreme being in the universe, and that there is a God that has legitimate demands on our allegiance, obedience and worship.  They must either obey or disobey, with consequences to follow.  From that truth they instinctively recoil and lash out against those who dare propose the truth.

At the 1:12:00 mark, you'll see how the Darwinist position, with its emphasis on "survival of the fittest", is just another facet of the eugenics position.  Both were atheists.  In rejecting God, they also rejected the truth of eternal life after this sojourn on earth.  Understanding that mental paradigm, we can see how they would only be focused on this life.  Their emphasis would be to make life on this earth to be their paradise.

Can we not see this same mindset in so many of our progressive clergy?  Take note of their obsession with environmentalism.  We have seen recently how this pope has engaged various "population control" advocates to formulate the thinking behind Laudato Si and now the Amazon Synod.

Such deadly poison has long ago infiltrated Catholic clergy.  In this article we see that a Catholic priest (Franciscan) is chiding pro-life activists for prioritizing babies over "the environment".  He has in fact relegated the environment to the status of a de facto deity.  This is gaia worship.  His own claims to being pro-life ring hollow.

This error stated by Fr. Horan is quite compatible with the horror stated by democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.  He stated that abortion and birth control would be part of his plan to address "climate change".  Given his previous heretical blooper, how could Fr Horan argue with that?  More importantly, would he be inclined to argue with Sanders.

A few weeks ago I wrote about the pope's continuing destruction of the John Paul II Institute for Marriage and the Family.  We now see that Archbishop Paglia (yes, him) pretends that the term "life" needs to be redefined.  What's next?  Will this crowd try to redefine the word "God"?  For 2000 years now, the Church has proclaimed God's teachings of life, family and morality.  Any attempt to modify the meanings of those truths, by definition, will be to introduce deception and confusion to crystal-clear truth.

Speaking of "modifying teachings", that is exactly what will be attempted next month at the Amazon Sin-Nod.  Pray your Rosaries for protection.
