Michael Voris, in today's Vortex, compares the Holy Father's warning (see yesterday's post) versus Archbishop Dolan's rosy portrayal of the status of today's Church. Frankly, I cannot see how anyone with two brain neurons that fire correctly can be blind to the immense crisis facing our very civilization. However, it's there all around - from the vapid grins of many in the pews to the happy-pap-crap that fills the pages of the diocesan newspapers (including both the Catholic Standard and Our Parish Times).
As a new year draws near, perhaps we may want to spend some time in prayer rather than useless revelry and beg God's grace for a revived and restored Catholic Church that is faithful to God, His Laws and the Magisterium.
