Father Thomas Weinandy Continues To Articulate The Truth - His Full Article Here
Many Catholic sites linked to the address as it appeared on Sandro Magister's blog. However, when I went to look for it there, I found that it had been pulled. After some searching, I found it at the Catholic World Report. To guard against another (ahem!) "mysterious disappearance", I'll copy and paste it in its entirety.
This piece is lengthy, so I'll put the jump break here.

St. Ignatius Of Baltimore - EGG On Its Face, Mortal Sin To Its Charge
This den of iniquity is called St. Ignatius Catholic Community. It's on Calvert Street in the Mount Vernon area. It touts itself as "the Jesuit Church of Baltimore". I might say that would explain a lot of what I'll detail, but then what's the excuse for the malfeasances of St. Matthew's?
St. Ignatius also has a "gay ministry", that is, a group that will lull to sleep what remains of the consciences of homosexual Catholics so that they can commit mortal sin with their consciences effectively paralyzed. Of course in committing these sins, they are greatly increasing their chances of incurring the pains of hell in the afterlife. The pastor and other leaders of that parish, being answerable to God for the souls in their charge, will likely have hell to pay (literally) if they don't change course while they're still on this side of the grave.
You should have the St. Ignatius site open in its own window. Let's now take a tour, shall we? Go to the top menu and hover your mouse over "ministries". Click on "community building". A new page opens up and you'll see on the left something called "Embracing God's Gifts" (EGG). This is St. Ignatius's "gay ministry". How did they come to adopt this title "embracing God's gifts"? I have a theory that I think is entirely plausible. Recall the Extraordinary Synod on the Family that occurred in October 2014. Readers of this blog will recall that an interim report was released by the Vatican; I'll link to it on the Vatican website. I refer you to paragraph 50, where the pope seems to be condoning homosexual conduct. (For those interested, here are some archives for review). If anyone ever wanted prima facie evidence of the harm caused by the pope's ambiguity, here's a prime example.
Let's examne the EGG page. There is a video where Gordon Creamer (director?). He talks of celebrating "gifts and contribution of gay and lesbian members"; he's hearkening back to paragraph 50 of the sin-nod's interim report. Notice the "mission statement" that rolls by in "star wars" format. Notice how it acknowledges being informed by church teaching, as opposed to being formed by Church teaching? That difference is quite telling. Then of course we have the loaded language of "open-mindedness" and "compassion". At 2:34 Creamer states that "at various meetings we often study the Church's..body of literature". Did you notice that moment of hesitancy? Was he catching himself before he uttered the word "teachings" as opposed to "body of literature"? He goes right into a book called "Fortunate Families". I believe it's this book; it was on the table in the video. Here is the website to "Fortunate Families". This organization seems to be comprised of parents who are capitulating to the mortal sins in which their children are embroiled. What they display is not charity, but cowardice and dereliction of duty.
Looking further down, we see that they have their monthly meetings and "pride cookouts" and even a "pride prayer service". From the bulletin we see that they actually meet in parish offices; the announcement can be found right above the yoga announcement. I now point you to an article published by New Ways Ministry. If it can be believed (and that might well be the case), then the Archdiocese of Baltimore knows of the state of affairs at St. Ignatius and is, at the very least, turning a blind eye to the spiritual wreckage occurring at that church. Such appears to be the case at St. Matthew's.
Let's go back to that "ministries" menu and look at "social responsibilities". There's lots of indications that St. Ignatius falls into lockstep with the progressive agenda being promulgated. For instance, if we look at the "economic justice"page, all we see are calls to lobby various governmental bodies for income/wealth redistribution. No where do I see any calls for the parishioners to contribute to this "economic justice" out of their own means. Then there's the obligatory call for amnesty for illegal aliens and such.
Now guess what's missing from that page? I knew it wouldn't take too long to guess! Yes! There's no mention whatsoever of the greatest social injustice of this day - the slaughter of unborn children under the guise of legalized abortion. With all these "ministries", where's the pro-life ministry? The lack of such an endeavor tells me that this parish, by and large, simply doesn't care about authentic social justice nor for the teachings of Jesus Christ Himself. Correction - it's there but you have to scroll down a good bit to see it.
I'm going to point out a seemingly unrelated incident. It's not really unrelated as I'll elaborate in a few minutes. On Friday, a 23-year-old seminarian was taken into custody at a San Diego airport. He allegedly was en route to Mexico to engage in sexual acts - with helpless infants. Yes, he was a Catholic seminarian who was about to engage in acts of brutal perversion. One might wonder how such individuals can be so corrupted, or how the seminary did not screen him during the application process. But all we need do is consider the corrupt parish life of parishes such as St. Ignatius, St Matthews and other "gay-friendly" parishes throughout the country and we needn't wonder. If our parishes and dioceses aren't purified of this corruption soon, we can expect to see more such scenarios.

Gay Priest Retreat In Maryland This Coming April
Bon Secours is itself a dissident den of iniquity. If the name sounds familiar to readers of this blog, that is because Bon Secours is where Gordon Creamer, gay-married parish council chair of St Ignatius Catholic Church, carries on with his so-called "spiritual direction". St Ignatius is a parish in the Mount Vernon area of Baltimore City. They openly flaunt their participation in Baltimore's "gay pride" parade/orgies. I tried to engage the pastor about the matter, but oddly enough (cough!) he wasn't particularly interested in discussing the matter! I submit that this pastor, along with Fr Joseph Muth of St Matthew's on Loch Raven Blvd are priests whom Lori should shut down.
Let's look at the retreat leader, Father Peter Daly, as I've written quite a bit about him, too. In this anthology of posts, you see an account of his interactions with young men struggling with same-sex attraction. He admits to telling them that their disordered inclinations aren't disordered and that to act on them isn't sinful. He pointed them straight towards hell and gave a nudge. One can bet that is exactly what will happen in Marriottsville in two months.
Now let's look at the reactions of the two Maryland archbishops. Archbishop Lori continues to turn a blind eye on both St Matthew's and St Ignatius. Both are dens of gay perversions; there could be more. These are the only two of which I'm aware at this time Archbishop Gregory has actually shown himself to be an ally of proponents of gay perversions. This past summer he openly praised Fortunate Familes duing one of his first "Theology on Tap" presentations.
Will they listen to our demands that they clean up their churches? One language that they seem to understand is that of money - or more accurately, lack of donation money. The DC archdiocese is gearing up for its Annual Appeal. It used to be called the Archbishop's or Cardinal's Appeal (depending on rank of prelate). They at least know that they cannot invoke the prelate to raise money, as our prelates of late have been, uh, "credibility-challenged" shall we say. On the webpage they say that 60+ charities are supported via this collection. Guess what? You can support good charities directly, without the Archdiocese taking a cut of them. Moreover, you'd be able to select the recipients of your hard-earned dollars. Do NOT give one red penny to this or any other diocesan-wide collection. They have proven over and over again to be unworthy recipients of donations and inept stewards to boot. I don't know when the Baltimore campaign will happen, but that too should be boycotted until Archbishop Lori disinfects St Matthew's and St Ignatius AND quashes this upcoming "retreat".

Baltimore LGBT Ministry Being Run By A Practicing Gay
Of course St Matthew's is listed, but let's look at St. Ignatius in this post. As expected from its name, it is a Jesuit-run parish, so that's one strike against it right then and there. Like St Matthew's, this parish also has an unabashed presence during Baltimore's "pride parades". We see that the parish has a LGBTQ "ministry" that they call "Embracing God's Gifts". I wonder what they would call a ministry for serial rapists/murderers, but I digress! Most of these groups are nothing more than mortal sinners and their enablers trying to justify their mortal sins to themselves and each others; and they probably also function as "dating services".
Now please take a look at the top picture. This picture is from St Ignatius's page on the 2019 pride parade. The other man is Brian Fitzek. A picture of him can be seen on his Linkedin page. You can see the two of them together in the next picture from Fitzek's facebook page (right side). By the way - isn't that outfit on Creamer just..special? Interesting yellow fluffy hat and spaghetti straps, with his hand on Fitzek's shoulder! But again I digress.
Below is an announcement of their "marriage" that ran in the October 16, 2014 edition of the Baltimore Sun (note the web reference at the bottom of the picture). Consider that Creamer and Fitzek co-own their home, according to the MD Department of Assessments and Taxation. These facts indicate that Creamer and Fitzek are in a sodomite relationship. The important question is, does Father Casciotti know about this? In fact, does he care?
We may well surmise that in his parish position of running this "embracing God's gifts" thing, Creamer is utterly unqualified to be promoting chastity to those afflicted with same-sex attractions. The situation is not akin to a "wolf in sheep's clothing" but rather a "wolf in shepherd's clothing". We should contact the parish here and suggest his removal.
While having this conversation with the parish, we might well ask them how it could be that they would allow such an obvious dissident to be in a prominent position in the parish. If nothing else, Creamer seems to be quite open about his proclivities. I don't for one second believe that they are so oblivious that they failed to notice that their parish was marching in gay parades. The parish administration is most likely guilty of aiding and abetting sodomite sins and they need to be rebuked. Quite frankly, I think they only way they will understand that is if the Sunday collection baskets are boycotted.
I would also suggest contacting Archbishop Lori about this situation. Now we see that at least two of Baltimore's parishes (St Matthew's is the other known one) participate in that debauched orgy known as Baltimore Pride while carrying their parishes' names on their banners. What is he doing about this mess? Why does he persist on turning a blind eye to these (known) scandals? Perhaps a boycott of the collection baskets might finally get his attention.

My Conversation With The Pastor Of A Homophile Parish
I believe that actually was Father Casciotti with whom I spoke ever so briefly. The long and short of it is that he knew all along about Creamer's sodomy and either 1) doesn't care or 2) is all for enabling mortal sins of homosexual relations within the context of his parish. For all intents and purposes, that renders St. Ignatius a den of vipers.
Obviously Father was uncomfortable and disgruntled with being called on his cooperation with mortal sin - which is its own mortal sin, by the way. It's good that he was perturbed by the call. Maybe that will cause some spark of conscience to come to life.
I suspect that the parish may well be a hangout of perverts and their enablers. For the few decent Catholics that remain, I'd suggest a boycott of the collection; send your money to a faithful religious order (NOT the Jesuits!) or some other charity like a soup kitchen. Don't feed your money to this cabal until they demonstrate real repentance.
I intend to contact the Archdiocese of Baltimore next week and I reiterate my call for faithful Catholics to likewise contact this pastor and Archbishop Lori. Whether by cowardice, indifference or even approval of sodomy, both men are allowing souls in their charge to careen towards hell and unless they change course, they will have much for which they must answer come their Judgment Days.
UPDATE:
Check out this parish bulletin. Creamer is also on the parish council. Whatever else "meeting the sinner where they are" means, it does NOT mean placing the sinner in prominent positions while the sinner is still engaging in his/her mortal sin. When you contact both Casciotti and Archbishop Lori, politely but firmly insist that Creamer be removed from the council and this LGBT ministry abolished, both for the good of Creamer's soul and to remove scandal from the parish.

When Will Archbishop Lori Clean Out St Ignatius Church In The Mount Vernon Area?
Yes, it's this parish. Whatever other "faith" might have been represented there last evening, the Roman Catholic faith got short shrift. As we look at the parish's web site, we see that Gordon Creamer is still the honcho behind its LGBT
Ladies and gentlemen, particularly Catholics of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, the Archbishop knows damned well what is going on here - and at St Matthew's, for that matter. He is doing absolutely nothing to expunge the poison that is spiritually killing the Catholics under his watch. Faithful Catholics there, I suggest that you cease any archdiocesan contributions immediately, and if he ever appears publicly, challenge him on these matters (and have a friend record the exchange). We simply have to hold their feet to the fire. What I stated in this post's title would be an excellent New Year's resolution for him and his brother bishops.

St Ignatius of Loyola
One crucial Jesuit debacle I never touched upon involved Father Robert Drinan. Many of us remember him as the priest who served in the US House of Representatives in defiance of his order (who of course demured to discipline him) and who supported, and voted for, the Freedom of Choice Act. See Catholic Culture's account of the mess. After all was said and done with that debacle, Drinan spent his final years at (bet'cha can't guess!) Georgetown University. When he passed away several years ago, he was given a lavish public Catholic funeral - much like his protege, Ted Kennedy.
That's right - protege. It seems that Father Drinan played a key role in goading the Kennedys into adopting a pro-abortion position in their political careers. Read this account of their Hyannisport Meeting. This one priest seems to have been instrumental in launching one of the deadliest pro-abortion political careers in Washington, DC - that of Ted Kennedy. No doubt he had his nefarious influence on others.
Getting back to Saint Ignatius, let us ask him and his saintly spiritual sons to pray for their wayward order. Particularly invoke St Francis Xavier and St Aloysius Gonzaga, as institutions named for them have been particularly besmirched.

CCHD = Catholics Colluding with Homosexual Deviants
Take a visual stroll through this flyer. It's chock-full of the usual "social justice" dribble: environmentalism, poverty, immigration, etc, with one striking addition. Item 9 touts a workshop entitled "Why Our Parishes Need LGTBQ+ Ministries" - for safe places and all that! You notice there's no talk of assisting these people out of their sinful lifestyles. Given what we've seen of St. Ignatius and their group, we could safely surmise that these "ministries" aren't much more than dating services for deviants. In other words, these "ministries" are about the sordid business of cooperating with mortal sin. Is that what they mean by "social ministry"?
Now go to the very last page, the registration section. To whom does one make their check to attend this gab-fest? Why, to CCHD/Archdiocese of Baltimore! So the Archdiocese of Baltimore is actually putting on this claptrap? Well, let's look at their own webpage versus the flyer, which was found on St Matthew's site. Shrewdly they did not post that flyer on their own site, but they do tout this "convocation". Now look at the subpage for the awards presented. You see that the same awards mentioned are similar to those in the flyer. Despite their attempts to be discreet about their pro-gay shilling, Baltimore's CCHD has been caught with its hand in the cookie jar, so to speak.
So can one imagine CCHD facilitating sinful conduct? Would they do it for any other destructive lifestyle choices, like usage of "recreational" drugs? Well, yes. Nationwide, they have given grants to marijuana farms and funded needle-exchange programs.
As if we needed it, here is yet another reason to boycott the next CCHD collection. For Baltimore, that will happen in November. If you need additional reasons to boycott the collection, I'm sure some will sprout up between now and November.

Archdiocese Of Baltimore Foisting Gender Fluid Madness On Its Pupils
Let that sentence sink in for a moment. The Archdiocese isn't merely sitting by while outside forces are impinging upon their schools (as if such cowardice wouldn't be bad enough). The Archdiocese is actually ordering its schools to use pronouns according to the wishes of mentally ill students. Church Militant broke the story.
This crime is being perpetrated by two individuals. The first is Denise Ball, Assistant Superintendent for the Archdiocese's schools. The second is Benjamin Lorenz, assistant principal of the School of the Incarnation. A third-grade pupil at that school imagines herself to be a boy. Ball and Lorenz have been meeting frequently. Ball has told other teachers at that school that they will be fired if they don't play along with the child's delusions and use masculine pronouns. The principal, Nancy Baker, seems to be in cahoots and has been trying to convince parents to swallow this bile.
Apparently there are a number of parents outraged over this, but are afraid to come forward out of "fear of retaliation". Of course this is why the Church suffers, when its adherents refuse to suffer for her. If their fears center around their own children, may I suggest that the children might be better off if they were removed? Homeschooling would be the ideal, but if that is impossible, I daresay that in this case, public schools would be superior to this Incarnation school. At least in public school there would be no indication that the Church is on board with the promotion of perversions and gender confusion. Let this supposedly Catholic school do without their tuition money and see if they might sing a different tune.
Lori has shown a regrettable tendency to look the other way when it comes to the gay infestation in his diocese. The CM piece mentioned St Matthew's in Baltimore as being a gay-fomenting parish. A short time ago, Lori requested that the pastor resign by September - that is, this month. Has that happened? What truly fascinates me right now is that I cannot find the parish's website. What was the parish's site, http://www.stmattrc.org/, takes me to some auto loan site. Now why is that? They are listed on the Baltimore Archdiocese site: with Father Joseph Muth still listed as pastor. Do we think he'll be gone in a week? Are the archdiocesan personnel having fits that we just blew the cover off yet another capitulation to the gays?
The CM piece did omit mention of St Ignatius, that features a "gay-married" guy as head of its LGBTQ dating service ministry. Until very recently this guy was parish council chair. There are other gay-infested churches in Baltimore.
- Faithful Catholics local to the area, getting together and organizing so they can protest, form homeschooling coalitions, etc
- Complete cessation of donations to any parish that has an "LGBTQ" cabal. Let your pastor know that your dollars will not fund any of that pabulum.
- The CM piece mentioned parents who are afraid. They must stand up to their fears and stand up to the gay-nazi tyrants in their parish. What kind of message does their timidity send to their children?

Baltimore Parish Openly Facilitates Sodomy
I speak of St. Matthew's Church on Loch Raven Boulevard - quite close to one of my early childhood homes. While we usually attended St. Pius X, occasionally we would attend Sunday Mass at St Matthew's. In those days, during the early 1960s, all Catholic Churches embraced their God-given mission. St. Matthew's has now reneged and is actually greasing the skids to hell for many of its parishioners. By affirming sodomites in their mortal sins, they are showing anything but charity towards them, for true charity leads away from sin and to heaven through repentance and the Sacraments. In fact, because they are formally and materially cooperating in mortal sin, many in the parish who participate in this enabling of sodomy are guilty of mortal sin - most especially the pastor, Father Joseph Muth. The proverbial "millstone around the neck" appears to be a parish organization called LEAD; I'll provide screenshots of the website below.
There is quite a detailed article regarding the parish on the website of the Not-At-All Catholic Reporter. You'll see that this LEAD outfit is not concerned at all about leading homosexuals from their life of sin into a truly Catholic life. No, instead they revel in the fact that they have two "married" lesbians (one of them being a former Catholic sister) and that they participated in Baltimore's gay pride parade last summer. Most disturbing is that Auxiliary Bishop Denis Madden said of LEAD, "I was impressed by them. They are good people." If Bishop Madden thinks that folks who are literally leading others to perdition are "good people", I can only surmise that he himself jeopardizes his own soul by giving his own affirmation to sodomy.
Here are the screen shots with some commentary. Then please continue reading below.
What you see to the right are pictures of Baltimore's gay pride parade, a celebration of perversion and
mortal sin. One gets the impression that this webmaster tried to get pictures that weren't too vile, but this one is bad enough.
Now you see on this subpage is a list of the usual "gang of suspects": every gay rights group that has at least a thin "katholyc" veneer. So does that really include the National Coalition of American Nuns? No wonder so many of these orders are dying off! Apparently there is another parish in
Baltimore that is similarly infested: St Ignatius. We'll look at them at another time

The Baltimore CCHD Debacle Last Saturday
The gab-fest happened last week as scheduled. However, it did not go unanswered. Approximately fifty attendees received a dose of truth per the flyer below.
We saw quite a few cars festooned with gay-activist bumper strips. We made sure that they received one of these.
I mention this because we all have a responsibility to speak against evil when we see it. Gone are the days when we can simply shrug our shoulders, pretend "it's not my problem" and let these travesties occur without so much as a whimper from us. This little leafleting project really didn't take much time at all. If I and others can do this, so can you.

Blessed Sacrament In DC To Lionize Two Dissident Jesuits
Another troublesome Jesuit was Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, a priest during the first half of the century. Fancying himself to be a scientist, he dabbled in evolutionary theory and essentially helped get the snowball known as modernism rolling down the hill. Read here for more detail and some quotes. As you read his "prayer", can't you just hear Obi-Wan Kenobi say "may the force be with you"? That quote if from a Jesuit website so of course they bemoan his "suffering" by being hushed by the Vatican and his superiors (before they too were infected by modernism). Dr. Dietrich Von Hildebrand wrote a detailed critique of De Chardin that is well worth the read.
Both Rahner and De Chardin (now both deceased) played pivotal roles in the early days of the modernist corruption of the Catholic Church. But why am I bringing up these two men in this post?
I do so because Blessed Sacrament Church on Western Avenue in DC will be conducting "courses" on the writings of these two men starting next month. See page 4 of the Sept 4th bulletin. (A word to the Blessed Sacrament staff. Don't bother to try to pull the bulletin from your site; I already archived it.)
The language in the bulletin announcement would lead the unsuspecting parishioner to believe that the teachings of Chardin and Rahner are healthy when in reality they could imperil the salvation of those who accept and implement them. You might recall that this is the same parish that hosted book-signings by both Chris Matthews and Mark Shriver, both "katholycs" who use their bully-pulpits to promote baby-killing, gay #mowwidge and other mortal sins. See here and here for reports on our protest of the Chris Matthews appearance and here for our protest of the Shriver debacle.
I ask my readers to:
- Spread warning of this spiritual poison, particularly to those who attend Blessed Sacrament.
- Contact the parish (contact information is in the bulletin) and ask them to cancel both these series.

More From The Ecumenicide Department, Courtesy Of The Pope
The statement is this, uttered by the Holy Father as he explained his reasons for visiting his Protestant friends in Caserta. "To extend the apologies of the Catholic Church for the damage that has been done to them by obstructing the growth of their communities.” My goodness! This is a statement -curious if not heretical - that needs some serious unpacking!
- The "communities" mentioned in that quote are in fact Protestant churches, churches not in communion with Rome. By and large they reject most of the Sacraments, which are (among other things) primary channels for sanctifying grace - without which no one gets to heaven.
- How would these "mean ole Catholics" have been "obstructing the growth of these communities"? Does it take too much imagination that Catholics would have been doing this "obstruction" by bringing wayward Protestants into the Roman Catholic Church which is the One True Church? That's what we're supposed to do - to bring them to the fullness of truth. One of the Spiritual Works of Mercy is to "instruct the ignorant".
- If any apologies are required along these lines, the Church should be apologizing to Protestants for not being zealous and dedicated to offering them the fullness of Truth that can be found only within the Roman Catholic Church. They are floundering about with no Sacraments. If, for example, they fall into mortal sin and don't avail themselves of Confession, they really think "sole fide" will save them. Will it? That's quite a crap shoot, with someone's eternal destination at stake.
- Recall yesterday's post, where the Holy Father is quoted as saying he's not interested in converting evangelicals to Catholicism. He said "there are so many doctrines we'll never agree on...let's be about showing the love of Jesus". The doctrines of the Catholic Church are the teachings of Jesus Christ Himself. Any attempt to trivialize the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church will be rejection of the authentic love of Jesus in favor of a cheap, shallow, sentimental counterfeit of the same.

More Damage Control From The Archdiocese Of Baltimore
They are renaming their "Archbishop's Annual Appeal" collection to "Annual Appeal for Catholic Ministries". Of course we aren't learning this from the Catholic Review, but the Baltimore Sun. Supposedly we are to be fooled into thinking that none of the money will be going towards the sex scandals but only to the various ministries of the archdiocese. Well, not quite, and to understand why, we need to take a look at the concept of fungibility, particularly as it is used in non-profit budgeting.
Here is an article that explains the concept well. Applied to this Archdiocesan situation, funds earmarked for "Catholic ministries" could well free up other funds to be used elsewhere in the budget - such as sinking funds for anticipated legal expenses. Michael Hichborn did a video that explains how Planned Parenthood uses fungibiity in relation to government grants. My advise is this: don't give one red penny to any archdiocesan collection, for at least some portion of it will go to where it shouldn't. Instead, send your money directly to worthwhile charities.
Back to the Sun article. Notice how the archdiocese is trying to reassure the Catholics that sex abuse matters are paid out of an insurance trust that was set up? Well, that's nice, but... who pays the premiums? And aren't those premiums most likely going through the roof now? What kind of dunces do these people think we are?
Apparently some of them think we're stupid enough to believe that "music can unite the faithful" - at least according to one "music minister" in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. His name is Zachary Stachowski, working at St Ignatius of Loyola in Ijamsville MD. He wrote a song after the abuse crisis jumped in our faces again and that is the subject of that interview. Apparently the song is being used quite widely. I wonder how much he may be garnering in royalties? I have no problem with that, for the song is his intellectual property. The premise that "music can unite the faithful" is simply a bunch of hooey, though. Authentic unity can come about only when all accept the teachings of Jesus Christ as revealed through Holy Mother Church. Along those lines, Stachowski seems to be keeping company with some who blatantly oppose those teachings.
One of his buddies is David Haas - yes, him. According to his twitter page, he and Haas teamed up to do a "singing workshop" at that heretical hootenanny known as the LA Religious Education Conference. See here and here for a flavor of what goes on there. While I know little else of Stachowski, what I do know leads me to question just what he thinks "unity" is.
I have made it a point to skip all archdiocesan collections and to plan my parish donations so that they aren't assessed by the Archdiocese of Washington. I certainly suggest to my Baltimore friends that they do the same, and those in many other areas of the country should do likewise.

Georgetown's Pathetic Attempt At Damage Control
A note to the Georgetown administration. As complaints increase and donations decrease, understand that you can stave off disasters on many fronts simply by rescinding your invitation to So-bilious. If this atrocity is allowed to occur, there will be protests. Please do the right thing, find your Catholic consciences and spines, remember that you are sons of St Ignatius Loyola (not Robert Drinan) and keep Kathleen So-bilious from besmirching Georgetown University. Once Georgetown was a fine institution of Catholic higher learning. Decisions of the past several years have caused a precipitous decline in Georgetown. Please reverse that trend and don't plunge Georgetown further down the toilet on May 18th.

Georgetown University Never Fails - To Disappoint And Scandalize
First we have "gender-blind housing". No doubt you have guessed what that is all about. The Hoya announced that university officials would be willing to discuss this "gender-blind housing" that would “not take into account gender when assigning housing to students.” Ostensibly the reason given is to be "accepting" of LGBTQ students. However, we know what else would be happening. Boys and girls, can we say "shack-up and fornication with the blessings of the university"? We're essentially talking about university officials not only condoning but actually facilitating mortal sin amongst its students.
Second, we hear that Catholics for Equality is all atwitter about the USCCB elections. They are worried - just worried sick! - that the elections of Archbishops Dolan and Kurtz "signals increased Vatican influence in US politics." Huh?? How do they draw that conclusion? To tip their hands a little more, they let loose with this nonsense: "this election broadens the gap between the people of the Catholic Church in America and the increasingly uncharitable demands of the Pope in Rome." Read the CFE's press release - it's a hoot. They wax indignant about "the Catholic hierarchy’s national campaign to deny marriage and family rights to gay and lesbian citizens." Imagine that! Catholic bishops defending and promulgating Catholic dogma and morals? What is the world coming to? Next they'll be telling dissidents like Catholics for Equality to repent and go to Confession or be excommunicated! The horror!
Saint Ignatius of Loyala, please pray for your wayward sons who are leading many souls to their eternal damnation. Pray for their repentance, lest they also careen towards their own eternal doom.

Today Is A Day Of Shame For The Catholic Church
I now link to an archive of all posts I've written that touch upon Cardinal Burke and how he's stood for the Faith. I'm also now reading "Remaining In The Truth Of Christ". The book is an anthology of articles written by Cardinal Burke, Cardinal Pell and others that defend the Church's teaching on marriage and Holy Communion. It was written and published in anticipation of the attacks that were sustained on the Church's teachings in those two crucial areas. We all recall that Cardinal Kasper fired some opening volleys on the Magisterium in those areas. To Cardinal Burke:
Your Eminence, thank you for your service to Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Church in the face of formidable opposition. That you have maintained fidelity and charity - even as that opposition came from the highest offices of the Vatican - redounds to your credit and I trust, to outpouring of graces upon the Church that stands in desperate need of those graces.
